A very disappointing Reds Bar and Grill lunch.... I attribute it to having too big a menu for only a couple of customers for lunch... I'll try it again in August. But I'm puzzled that with few customers why the glassds cant be clean of fingerprints and water stains.

Nothing about this course is particularly remarkable, except maybe all the deer droppings and all the mud on the grass from the worms. Also expensive unless you like to clip coupons. Best left to the senior citizens.

It was just ok. Tee decks were shaggy and pointed you just about anywhere but the fairway. Most of the flagsticks were at an angle and the holes looked like they hadn't been moved in a week. I expected more for the price.

We found the staff to be very rude and inconsiderate. We booked a tee time and arrived a full 15 minutes ahead of time to pay. My husband Harold was practicing on the putting green prior to our game, but he went to the pro shop a few minutes before the tee time to purchase a golf cart. While he was in the shop the staff members made disrespectful remarks and snarky comments about how we showed up too late, and told us we would not be able to tee off for another 30 minutes even though our tee time was not for another 3 minutes. We decided to go to the tee anyways and we were able to tee off in time. However, the staff did not disclose the fact that we would have to be golfing with two other people. We were rushed onto the fairways and we’re not able to have an enjoyable experience after this.

Really enjoyable and challenging course. Course is in good shape and a really pretty setting. Manager came out to chat with golfers and engaged us as well. Nice personal touch. Prices are reasonable.

Played the front nine alot after work multiple times over the past few years and finally played a full round today. Was a very challenging but fun course to play. Highly recommend this if visiting the Comox Valley.

Worst course ive been to. Wouldn't let me tee of before noon because I was not a member. Groups of two and singles all teed off and would not allow me to group up. Rough looking course and arrogant staff. Hit balls at the driving range mats don't accommodate a tee so ur forced to tee off uneven ground. Only nice thing was deer and military stuff

I recently played this course for the first time. The course has numerous doglegs on the front nine and driver must be selected sparingly unless you know you can hit it straight to your target. The back nine is a bit more open to your driver, but placement is important. The course and greens are in nice shape and the greens putt true, but not overly fast. I truly enjoyed my round, will definitely play again and recommend it to any level of skill. Fun course and friendly, helpful Staff!
