Terrific place, a large pool with lanes and a warmer wave pool. Aquarobic classes in both, a great schedule and a work out room. A steam room and a sauna and terrific staff. A first class facility.

Wave pool with a "kiddy" section attached but off to the side. The 2 water slides were a blast. The kiddy portion has its own mini-slide. Large hot tub overlooking the wave pool. Large detached lane pool with diving boards. During family swim, the staff put on music and played family-friendly games with whoever wanted to join. Nice clean facility, great staff, welcoming atmosphere, absolutely worth the drive from neighbouring communities.

My kids live the wave pool and the 2 slides. It has a big hot tub. And sectioned area for toddlers. Also a large lap pool with diving board.

I called this place when they opened at 9am and asked, “I have a three year old and am new to the area, I was going to promise her a trip to the pool this morning and wanted to make sure your pools were open to the public” The receptionist told me to come anytime and we would be able to swim. We arrived an hour later to a receptionist telling us it was swim lesson time until 1pm and we could not use the facilities. Not cool with a man excited toddler that was packed up and promised a pool. There was no apology, no explanation, no attempt to help us understand the schedule, just a shoulder shrug. I hope someone gives the receptionist a raise so they can smile through the misery they are spreading.

I have had many experience with theft sometimes I would buy a lock for the locker and when I get back they took the whole lock out to collect the coins and its just open even though I paid to keep my stuff safe. Then my stuff gets stolen. But the pool is cool. I have never been to the gym

Went to the gym to rehab my knee. It is small compared to most others I have used. One of the stationary bikes was either broken and not labeled as such, or the instructions were incomplete. Floor space for mat/ball wor is very limited. On the upside, it was not very busy. Access to the equipment was quick and easy.

Very very nice place to swim and relax. For less than 5$ you have access to a huge pool (with waves and huge water slides!!), a big hot tub, two sauna and another pool. The staff is very kind and you also have access to hot showers. This is really the nicest aquatic center I've ever been to.

Last Thursday, it was so noisy, you couldn't even hear yourself think. It used to be an adult swim but now it's a "16 and over" where they don't check ID for age and they act like 4 year olds yelling and screaming. It was the least relaxing it's ever been. I have put in a suggestion to bring back the evening adult swim and perhaps even have a 55+ evening. If it continues to be this loud and noisy, I will not be going there anymore.

I really appreciate that both pool sauna and hot tub solely occupied by adults only until 2 o'clock in the afternoon. It's a great facility with many options, that is a wild an active place with waterslide after 2 p.m. at least for the summer

This pool is one of two indoor pools in the Comox Valley. Sadly the schedule is very hit and miss and now its closed for over a month for annual maintenance. It's a rainy Sunday in July and our only option is the outdoor pool. However, when its open and you can actually go, its pretty ok.

Today I am going back to the pool, and if I see even ONE kid wearing a T-Shirt, or worse, an adult wearing a button down short sleeved cotton shirt in the pool, I will loose it. Three weeks in a row (on Saturday) this has happened. RULES at the cashier clearly state "No outside clothes to be worn in pool". Cashier = Meh, Lifeguard = Meh, No one cares. I took it to the "Beef & Bouquet" section of the newspaper. This is NOT an outdoor Pool or the Ocean People. Swim suits only.

I really want to love this pool, but there are a few reasons that I don't. First the ground in the wave pool is like sandpaper. It is incredibly rough - I have left that pool bleeding on several occasions! I have also had my shorts torn from the pool bottom - it is especially bad when the waves are turned on. I am not sure who decided when the pool was built that a non slip texture of this type was required. I have been to many wave pools with smooth bottoms that were not at all slippery. This is an incredibly poor design choice - they should grind it off and refinish it. Also, starting in late 2017 the open swim schedule is ridiculous. They offer some everyone welcome swims where only the wave pool is accessible. At tha same time they run swimming lessons which takes up a good portion of the pool. In addition, the deep end is often closed for rehabilitation - leaving less than half of the wave pool. It is insanely stupid scheduling. The only good time to go to this pool is during the adults only swims on weekday evenings. Would also be nice for a late night weekend swim - many times I have wanted to go to the pool late on a Saturday night, but they close early. Too bad really.

Not sure why the amount of chlorine that is being pumped into the wave pool is warranted but it was so bad my eyes were burning anytime my daughter and I went through the very embarassing "river/current" section they have there, you could literally taste it in the air, was horrible. The nanaimo public pool is better in almost everyway.

Huge swimming pool area. Not too over crowded. Love the sauna and steam rooms. Thats what I use mostly although would be nice if they had a larger gym , workout facility. Lots of free parking out front so thats good. Its only $6 to drop in plus coins for lockers. They don't have towels so bring your own bcuz the swim shop charges over $30 to buy one.

We loved it here! Our son had gone on a field trip with school and he asked us to take him back. Great place. Pool is warm. There is a wave pool, watersides that meander outside and end back in the pool area. There is a separate pool for lane swim, instruction, a diving board and there were scuba diving lessons going on when we there. It was affordable 12.60 for 2 adults and a child. There are fabulous water toys like foam canoes, big water mats- life jackets for all ages. There is a huge actually hot - hottub, a steamroom and a sauna. There are vending machines and tables in the lobby. Friendly staff and we'll manned with lifeguards.

Always confusion with the scheduling. Phone number for public to call is beyond annoying listening to a list of phone numbers that no one really cares about. Cant trust the website to let you know if its open or not.

Really nice pool with a mega vaulted ceiling with a ton of windows. They have lanes for lap swimming all day. Minus one star because they do not require proof of vaccine like the rec centre does.

Wonderful facility with a Sauna, Hot Tub, Steam Room, Wave Pool, Slides and regular pool with diving platforms. Our family do at least 2 visits here every week, one to do some laps and the other just to 'chill' in the hot areas and play some volley ball with the friends we've met at the pool.

Facility in the Men's Change Room are most of the time very poorly claimed and maintained . After repeated reporting s Floor drains are plunged with Dirt & Hair and are overflowing into the Change Room. The Sauna is rarely washed and cleaned after all the Sweat each day, its discus sting! The Door into it has been in disrepair for many month. The Maintenance staff are a bunch of useless Handyman. I could go on for much more. However I will post photos of it next time.

Nice pool, the staff is super friendly and its very clean. Weekends are generally busy with teen focused nights so if you want to relax come during the week. It's also helpful to figure out when the swimming lessons are going on, if you're using the hot tub and sauna they get flooded with loads of kids 6-11 every hour or so.

The pool is not quite up to its regular comfort standards in regards of temperature, humidity and smell. As well, not all amenities were available yet the price was the same for a family swim. We will be going back; it is part of our weekly routine throughout the seasons swimming outside is not an option. I am looking forward to them getting back on track with the comforts and fun elements we have come to expect from this facility.

Wave pool and 2 fun water slides plus a small waterslide for toddlers. Hot tub, sauna, steam room and lane swimming all great. The only reason I can't say 5 stars is they have a weird rule that won't let you take your kids down the big green water slide. My 4 year old loves the water slides and has no problem going down them by himself. Unfortunately, if they aren't a certain height they can't ride the big slides and not allowing a parent to take their kids down the bigger green slide is a bummer since it is big enough for an adult to sit down and still have plenty of head room.

Terrible location. Family's not allowed on a Saturday morning! Swimming lessons only. Would love to take my 1 year old to the pool but I can't. Thanks for being a useless "community" place. Last time I tried to come they were closing early for no reason as well. Really disappointed in this place.

We got out of the pool 20 mins before the everyone swim was over & went into the family change room. There was no stalls or shower space for anyone to use. People were lined up to shower off get dressed and leave ????????????????

My daughter got injured from playing at kid’s pool section. Who would have thought they put anti- slipping coating on the side of pool wall. They are sharp watch out People! The funny thing is my son also got injured at exactly same location last year. We have repot my son’s injuries but I see nothing have done from them.
