During a trip across Newfoundland on ATVs, we came into Corner Brook on a day it is as raining. We had no reservations anywhere and we found vacancy here. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and informative about the area. This only gets a 4 star due to there being no elevator, AC or breakfast. The rates were probably the best in the area. This is a decent place to stay if you're on a budget.

Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. Unfortunately it was the only place available when we decided to go on a last minute trip to cornerbrook last week. After reading reciews I packed my own bedding and crossed my fingers. We where given a room on the first floor. It stank like cat litter and smelly shoes. When we arrived to our room, The door hardly closed and door facings where falling off. Thankfully we spent most of the time outside the hotel other than to sleep and shower. We did have awesome water pressure in the shower and water heated quick (liberally the only positive). Parking was minimal coming back late in the evening. Walls are paper thin. So be prepared to hear your neighbors, whether they're talking, watching tv or turn on the taps. Ceilings are super low, feels like a dungeon. Never ate in the restaurant. Went to the bar one evening for a quick spin and bartender was great, customers on the other hand ...

Smelly, dirty and no amenities. Beds are smaller than advertised. Staying here was most definitely a bad decision on my part.

Great little hotel in a beautiful town. The rooms were clean and cozy. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. It was like a home away from home. Thank you to everyone we met today. ????????????

I found the staff was very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. This historic hotel is newly renovated, very clean, bed was comfortable, room was neat and clean, and the service was quick. Price is great ,Its close to uptown, everthing i would look for. Thank you for the great hospitality, I will be back????

I been to corner Brook hotel many many times. It's very clean, friendly staff and really good meals at the restaurant and excellent prices for a hotel room. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is always there when needed.

From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, the staff have always been very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and tidy. You can't beat the price! The front staff recommended things to do and places to go. There is always lots of parking. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and look forward to coming back in the future ❤️
