first time I have been unhappy with a meal. ordered a club house no cheese with salad for pick up. bacon was very undercooked for my taste. well they got the salad right, even that had a few pieces that should have been thrown out. no fries ordered so the price was a bit higher than expected, $20. an expensive salad. I managed to get most of the cheese off. hopefully no real problems other than the congestion experiencing now

When I lived in the area Mike’s Place was my favourite place to go for food and Caesars, by far the best I’ve ever had and I’m a self proclaimed Caesar connoisseur! At one time I tried everything on the menu and was never disappointed. I still speak of The Johnson pizza, also a must try!

Never usually have an issue with the food at Mike's Place. I've been going there since I was a kid. Today, I did not like my food at all. I had one bite and let the server know. I did not box up my food to take home. I ended up paying $70 for people and left hungry. Will not likely go back.

Very disgusted. Ate good food, then getting ready to leave my son tried to finish his pop only to discover a bandaid in it. Took it to the owner and was told it's not mine and I don't know what you want me to do. She took my glass and walked away. Absolutely disgusted at this and the care factor of the owner. They just lost the business of 11 paying customers that ate there once a month. So very disgusting.

Incredible panzerotti, not to mention a great Local beer selection. Im a Huge fan of the Sons of Kent brewing company( if your in town you should really visit the actual brewery). I recomend the lunch size as I have a BIG appetite and I was stuffed after polishing this food baby off. The food was only bested by the service. As per, don't forget to tip your waitstaff. Cheers!

Ordered 2 Panzorottis and pickle spears for pickup. Panzorottis were hot, pickle spears were soggy probably from sitting there waiting to be picked up so definitely a eat in dish to order only. The dough is very good beer dough I believe , the cheese is also yummy and I like the in house marinara sauce. This place has gotten very pricey over the years with the pepperoni quantity being reduced! You now have to order double the pepperoni to get it close to the way they used to pack it full. Apparently they don't bake the Panzorottis anymore just deep fry , which is kind of a bummer although for being deep fried they do it right and it's not greasy at all.

I have been here multiple times and every single time the service has been abysmal to say the least. They don't recognize the customers and this one time we waited for over an hour only to be informed that our order had been lost. There were no apologies or an attempt to fix the situation. Ate here for the first time today with my boyfriend and we had a great dinner for a fair price. To our surprise their pickle spears (and every thing else) were made fresh in house & they were great. Our server and food came quickly was completely fresh and tasty. I had a BBQ chicken wrap with lots of fresh veggies in it and he had a chicken feta & bacon sandwich. It's OK. Your typical hang out pub to watch a game, or the shoot the *bleep* with friends. However, the quality of the food seems dependent on who might be cooking that particular day. My wife and I both ordered the fish dinner, and had to send it back as it was ice cold and still partially frozen in the middle. Unacceptable and also a potential food safety issue. Hint to the cook: Use a thermometer, wise guy. You can't judge the doneness of food simply by looks. This isn't a steak you're cooking. YOU, more than anyone, should already know that, but I digress. My son said his panzerotti was just OK, hot around the outside edges, but barely lukewarm towards the middle, and mentioned that the sauce tasted "funny." I've been here before and had excellent food. The last two visits; one in November of 2016, and again just this past March, left a lot to be desired. Waitress kept yakking away about how "good" their battered mushrooms are. That may indeed be the case, but my wife is allergic, thank-you. Just an odd "vibe" to this place lately. I'll give it another chance in the coming months, and make a final verdict then whether I shall return. Or not. Prices are climbing too, but many other restaurants have also jacked up their prices... If you do plan on going here, go in with mediocre expectations. Not impressed.

This is a pretty good restaurant. Their food is pub-style, mostly deep fried, but it's good. They have a selection of beer on tap, but I think it's mostly from one brewery conglomerate, so other than the odd time they bring in something special, it's nothing unique. A good place to grab lunch One thing to know is that they are fantastic with kids. They have a kids pizza special where they bring out a pizza and the kids make it, then it goes back to cook, and is brought out when done.

Great neighbourhood bar & restaurant! Licenced patio, excellent variety of great food, including pizza, burgers, pastas, panzerotti, fish & chips, wraps, onion rings, salads, apps, etc. Updated my review today as this visit was under COVID-19 Interior Dining Health Regulations. Upon arrival, sign in with contact info., sanitised hands & masked prior to entering. Once seated, masks removed. All staff were continuously wearing masks! Plexiglass was added above the normal seatback divider, allowing back to back seating in the booths. I would definitely say all table seatings were more than the 3 metre requirement, which allowed greater comfort if any masked (required) customers walked between the tables. It did not feel that it was crowed at any time. Even the menu's were 2-sided photocopies, which are disposed of after use. Every single person not-seated(required), was wearing masks at all times! As usual, tbe food was top notch. This time I had the beer-battered fish & chip($20.95). Good sized piece of Haddock, browned perfectly. Plenty of fries, coleslaw, seed-topped bread with a pad of butter. My cup of black coffee was flavourful, hot & always full. The other 3 in our party were very happy with their meals (cheeseburg/ caesar salad, fettuccine with chicken/ carbonara) too, but both Ladies did require take-home containers! The bar selection is excellent. So if you would like to go out to dine in at a restaurant in Chatham & feel very comfortable while enjoying excellent food, served by excellent servers, definitely consider Mike's Place!

Awful service. This place doesn’t know how to provide a good customer experience. The food takes forever to arrive, if they don’t lose the order in the kitchen. And you’re lucky if you get a waiter who has an ounce of respect or niceness in them. I used to be a regular customer and it goes without saying that I will be taking my business somewhere else.

How disgusting sliced cheese on supposably the best garlic bread in town ???? Waitress wearing a tank top and her hair down another waitress in the bathroom didn't even wash your hands as I was in the other stall.. Ponzerotti wasn't cooked well. Last time I waste my money in that dump
