This cafe has a limited menu of homemade sandwiches and light meals. The food is delicious and the portions are filling. For me the ambiance and the paintings on all the walls made the place exceptional. This is a good place to come for a light meal and spend time catching up with friends.

Studio 77 is a great coffee place around the Pointe-Claire village. They have great hot and cold drinks for your needs. The customer service was nice and very organized. It would be nice if there more desserts option to try out since it all of their desserts looked delicious some were sold out quickly and I wanted more options to try. Other than that, this is a great place to chat with friends, family. Also, this Café does not allow Laptops there. However I Will definitely visit again in the future.

The owner kicks customers with laptops, IPADs or devices out after 10am. Then forces them to pay 10.00 a day to sit in their version of we work. I purchased breakfast and coffee and was going to buy lunch. Not good business IMO. I will not be returning. Not a good meeting place for mobile workers. Older clientele is the current demographic.

Owner was rude and arrogant. We were visiting Pointe-Claire and stopped to eat. They didn’t have any kids friendly food and were not willing to make any either. We ordered food and desert and coffee for us and had food for our child to eat. The owner told us he couldn’t eat there. I said we are willing to pay and order food for him if they can offer kids friendly food.and he said no we can’t! I think u were a child at some point you old man, how would you feel if someone said you can’t eat there while your parents are ordering food. We request a refund and left. Guest at the restaurant who heard the situation made comments how rude that is of the restaurant staff and how unkind! Very desappointed with the arrogance and wouldn’t support a business that has no compassion for all human kind!

Our favorite spot in the Pointe-Claire Village. Beautiful cultural and artistic ambiance, very relaxing. The food is always excellent and the staff is engaging, attentive and a joy to be around. Amber and Isabella are the nicest people ever!! David, the owner, is a true gentleman, very much concerned about the satisfaction of his clients. Studio 77 is a must-do cafe when in the West Island area. It's hard to leave this place, me and the wife could spend our days there. Highly recommended.

More than 25 countries and hundred of cities in the last 10 years. Your place is the worst with a man attending the cashier in my travels. What a welcome! I'm still closeby but I don't want do see this disgusting person again. Google knows I travel the world. I hope the coffee shop take care of everyone of their visitors from now on. Finally, besides the disgusting attention and instead to apologize or regret the behavior, the reply is to insult the customer that dare to give an unfavorable opinion. I recommend to visit the place and confirm what I am saying by yourself.

It’s unfortunate that I can’t give 0/5, because I would. Here’s my experience, and please students listen up! I showed up bright and early at 8:30 shortly after opening. The girl working saw that me and my friends have laptop bags, and directed us to use the back room. We walk there, to which someone was studying super seriously and quietly, a room with no windows and the seating not as comfortable. So I walked back and asked her well if me and my friend need to discuss as part of our studying and don’t want to bother the other person, is it okay that we sit in the regular tables? To my dismay, the answer was no. Completely ridiculous! Not only will I never be showing up there again, but it took us 45 mins to find somewhere to go because cafes like this in the West Island are few and far between. Lesson learned tho: Rockaberries on St-Charles is the place to go! It only opens at 11am, but still. Was so much more productive there with nicer staff, than I would have been at Studio 77 not even comfortable to sit in a windowless room.

Studio 77 is a really lovely place. There's great ambiance and it's a perfect spot to grab a coffee or lunch. They have really tasty sandwiches, coffee and desserts. I will say that I tried their Sesame salad and wasn't a huge fan. I think they could do a lot more with this type of salad. I also don't think that Dijon mustard should be part of a sesame dressing. I would encourage them to create a more asian style dressing and add sesame seeds, maybe some cilantro.

Have gone once and was very disappointed with the coffee. Also tried renting the space pre-pandemic and the owner was very rude and condescending. You have multiple other options for coffee in the village, all with better quality and better ownership. Update: I made sure to leave the review after business resumed Mr. Owner :). Not looking to pick a fight here, just leaving an honest review about bad experiences I’ve had at what I would say is a subpar business run by someone with no people skills. Take it as you wish.

Was happily enjoying this place with my friend outside, studying, ordering coffees, listening to live music until the owner came over and very rudely told us to leave as “now is not the time for studying and the tables are for customers buying drinks” and my friend doesn’t even drink and we were paying for coffees all day. We've been spending quality time here at Studio 77 for more than a year, and I must say, the place has special meaning. First, a close friend and I meet here to share our stories and common interests, and enjoy a few robust and competitive rounds of Cribbage, and second, as an author, Dave the owner opened up a section for me to host a book signing. Studio 77 is often the cafe I recommend when I meet clients. If you are wishing for a place where the owner actually talks to you, and you want to share special times, Studio 77 is the place.

While ordering my meal at the counter with the owner David, he blatantly decided to ignored me and proceeded to service his friends standing behind me. This Business owner needs to learn some manners and have respect for all clientele! Don’t believe me? Just read his comments to his 1 star reviews. I come very often to get my coffee in the morning here. It's always great, but today my wifi was down and I was looking for a place to take my online class, not just grab my coffee and go. Very disappointed that there is no way to have a laptop open in the café. I wouldn't have wanted to disturb anyone! I personally don't see the difference between sitting and reading a book for one hour or sitting and listening to my class for an hour.

I've been here twice now and plan to go back. This is a nice roomy café which exhibits local art. They have a good selection of tea, coffee and desserts. The only gluten-free products they have are offered in full-size bags, but at least you can take home what you don't eat. Service is excellent. :)

One star not so much for the food but for the apparent cavalier covid-19 attitude and lack of protocol to ensure their customers are safe. Employees serving customers behind the counter are not wearing masks, visers, gloves...nothing. Customers are not required to wear masks while sitting inside the restaurant. 2 m. distancing is clearly indicated but there is no way for customers entering and exiting the premise to avoid brushing each other. No gloves used by waiter when clearing leftovers from outside tables. Who knows how the food is prepared in the back? Will not go back!

Great coffee but this place is not my cup of tea. My girlfriend and I ordered over $40 of food but couldn't keep the table we wanted because we had laptops. We were sent to the bar and after ordering we were told we'd get a table as soon as one opened up. An hour later, the girl behind the bar (drinking Starbucks by the way, bad advertising competition as an employee) didn't once speak to us again despite other tables opening up. Apparently the people who came in 5 minutes later and didn't have laptops were allowed to play cribbage without any food order at all. So not sure why that was the case. Speaking of no food at all, ours never showed up. We got our coffee and as mentioned above it was great. Not sure what bad experience the management ever had with laptops. Maybe they thought we were teenage students or something but since we're both in our 30s and working, didn't think we'd be considered such pests compared to the cribbage folk. There certainly were enough disrupting and rude kids inside running around that even degenerate students would be considered an upgrade client wise. Anyways, ranting and raving aside, I paid for items we didn't receive and considering how poorly we were treated we didn't even bother to ask for the food we just left and vowed to go to a noisy trashy Starbucks next time. Yes the food and service sucks but at least we don't get pushed aside for cribbage people. HONESTLY, the thought of leaving a stupid review didn't even cross my mind until it popped up a second time. I guess I didn't realize how angry I was about this whole thing until 6-7 hours passed

I have been to Studio 77 on multiple occasions and love the location. Yesterday (March 12) I listened with incredulity how the manager treated a customer. The manager was quite rude and even picked up the customer’s personal belongings (business materials) with a blatant disregard and disrespect. The manner in which the manager treated the customer was shocking. Perhaps the manager needs anger management sessions or some other form of cognitive behaviour therapy. Definitely missing PR skills. I will not spending my money there anymore. With all that is going on in the world, the manager should take a deep breath.

I usually come here to grab a coffee and some food and stay about an hour. Yes I bring my laptop and do some work (not a student). Last time I went, the owner angrily showed me around a library type working space where us workers must go to now if we want to have a coffee and work that costs 10$ LOL... honestly pretty crazy how aggravated he was by me staying an hour because I've gone there a few times where I go in and see other groups there and leave before they do....none of them doing work. My suggestion would be to have a two hour hold on tables to avoid people staying too long. Judging by his responses to other comments, he'll probably have something rude to say to this but I don't rly care. That just looks bad on him...unfortunate because I liked the place. But wont be going there again.

Great show. Fun times. Hopefully they will host a 3rd one. Very impressed with the renovations, last time I had visited it was a greasy spoon known for Borsch and cheap breakfast.

Studio 77 was a pleasant surprise when myself and some friends discovered it about 5 months ago. Great location and flexibility for people who work from home. The staff is very pleasant and always friendly, unfortunately the person who manages it - David has little respect for individuals privacy and respect for customers needs, by interrupting people during business meetings and admit-tingly allowing louder customers behave in unprofessional manners, while others are trying to study and work. Once recommended, but not anymore for anyone who wants to work or concentrate, and especially appreciate customer service! Ps No need to leave suggestions in the suggestion box.Not welcomed.

My friend and I were studying at this coffee shop on the terrace in the PM enjoying the weather, coffee and live music. I bought 2 drinks during my time there and my friend bought one. We were both about to buy sandwiches and salads soon since super time was approaching, and we were using their WIFI. Suddenly, the owner comes up to us and demands us to leave. He told us it wasn’t the time to be studying and needs the table for other customer who are there for the music, even though there were other available seats. His attitude was very condescending and rude. He did not even give us the option to close our books and enjoy the ambiance while buying more drinks or food. Moral of the story, I don’t recommend this coffee shop as the owner doesn’t care about customer satisfaction. He only cares about money. Also, the coffee is very basic. There are better places in the village! On a more positive note, the baristas were all very friendly as well as wearing masks and gloves and cleaning the payment machine between every costumer. Update; It was my first time coming to this coffee shop and did not know students were not welcome to study. I looked at your Instagram and Facebook page, nothing was mentioned about this topic. If you strongly dislike students studying CLEARLY indicate it at the entrance and/or on social media to avoid any type of negativity and awkwardness like this? As for studying during the live music, I did not realize this was offensive. I am sorry and thank you for educating me, I will not do it again. In addition, I am only sharing my experience, I do not believe calling me entitled is doing any good here... If it's worth anything at this point, my friend and I thought the musician was a great singer and performer. I love local coffee shops so i'm kind of sad I had a bad experience here. One of my favourite local coffee shops! I'm not even a fan of coffee but they have a great selection of syrups and alternative milks, and tasty non-caffeinated drinks as well like beetroot latte (tastes wayyyy better than it sounds, trust). Food always looks fresh. Staff is friendly and clearly does its best at trying to keep it as fast as they can even when the line goes all the way outside. Please be patient with them, they're also people and don't slow it down on purpose!

David and his amaaazing Team have done such a great job of transforming this space in the centre of the Pointe Claire Village into so much more than just a (great ????) coffee shop. The studio is just that; a centre for creativity as well as a community hub for meeting up with friends/colleagues/art + music lovers. It features local artists (including David the owner's originals) on the walls and local musicians outdoors on the terrasse. Super socially distanced and respectful but still offering the opportunity it to connect. You can add Baileys to your latte as they have a pretty stellar booze selection as well as sandwiches and ah-mazing almond croissants. ☆☆☆☆☆

What can I say about Studio 77 except no visit to Pointe Claire would be complete without a stop-in. I walk in, and am always greeted with a beaming smile, and a question: "The usual?" Always friendly service, and always fresh food, Studio 77 has been my go to spot for quick meetings and getting some work done when I had to get away from the home office. And now, today, after Dave has been excitedly telling me about Studio Works (and showing me previews every time I popped in) I got to see Studio Works in action. Finally, something the West Island has been begging for, and the Studio team is now providing!!! A free-form workspace, in a calm environment, in a cool, soothing space. Exactly what work-from-home professionals have been needing. Networking, co-working, and contemplating, Studio Works is just what I've been looking for. Whether for quiet work, plugged into my headphones or collaborative meetings, this space answers the need. I'm so delighted this space has opened up, AND THE COFFEE IS FREE!!! This use it as you need, office, meeting, and contemplation space is exactly what I've been looking for but could never find. No long-term commitment, no hassle, and no hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant, café space, but all of the convenience and more! Thank you for this much-needed space and concept! Cheers, Tom

I liked the artistic ambiance so much. I had never lived such a good place for coffee before. It is Clean and there is the possibility to have coffee, breakfast, mini lunch with a bar for liquor lovers. The place is excellent to get together with friends and enjoy it. The prices for Mocacciato, and latte were acceptable. They are also in Instagram so you can go see the menu and many lovely pictures people left.

Went in for brunch (closer to 12). There was a line up of about 10 people and waited about 15 minutes. Ordered a double flat white. Unfortunately had to add the sugar in myself but was well made. The aroma of the coffee beans they use is great. Also got a medium roast brew. Good with a strong cacao after taste. For food, we got the beef and pepper kanish, lemon cake and an abricotine. The knish was very good. The lemon cake didn't need the icing and the abricotine was decent. Overall 4.5, they don't deserve a 4, so 5 it is.
