Best experience. I have been to a number of lounges in different cities but this experience was one of the best. Martin and Angelo were super helpful, caring and friendly. All the other staff were also very nice, but didn’t get the chance to get their names. Most comfortable 8 hours spent at an airport ever. Highly recommended. They had good food, cocktails, snacks, hot and cold beverages, all inclusive in the admission.

This is one of the better Priority Pass lounges I've visited in Canada. Much better than the lounges at Pearson. The staff were friendly and the selection of food was larger and definitely tasted fresher. The amount of space available meant that there were many seating options, another issue with the lounges at Pearson. I hope to be flying out of Montreal more often so I can enjoy this lounge.

Pretty nice spot... If you can find it! The National Bank lounge wins the award for hardest lounge in Canada to find! Once you get in though, ambiance is relaxed and chill. The room is beautifully lit with very nice furniture. Hot food seems so-so but the salad bar looked great. Slim selection of booze with some very cheap bottles (ie. Moldovian sparkling wine). Bathrooms very very clean! ????

This is the best way to survive an airport. If you are going to be in an airport more than 2 hours you need to experience it in a lounge. For the price or if you have a credit card of the sponsor of the lounge you are granted entry. It is quiet, you get free newspapers, very comfortable chairs, you can charge your electronics, have access to better washroom facilities, food, drinks, and alcohol are all included in the entry fee.

A very nice and relaxing lounge. If you're a member of the Key Lounge, you get alcoholic drinks and a hot and cold buffet, which is all self serve. A maximum of 3 hours stay. At check in you must present your boarding pass. The staff were very nice and kept everything clean.

They have snacks, meals, and and open bar available. They also have a great view of the tarmac so it's a great spot for aviation enthusiastic travelers. Staff are very helpful, and they keep the place clean really well. Only downside is they don't call you for your flight which is important to me.

It is an OK lounge. Lots of places to seat comfortably, food is OK, beverage selection is OK. Problem is it gets crowded easily and when it does, it can get very noisy. Bathroom was dirty and need some maintenance. It's OK to get here if you have to spend few hours. Otherwise, save your money/pass.

Worst lounge I ever used.... Attendants do not greet or even smile to guests.. They are ha going together chit chatting all the time.. When asked a question they answer while they are walking ad if they are really busy... Food is cheap and washrooms are not clean..

I visited this lounge in August 2017 and the food was not good, but today they improved a lot. The chicken curry was tasty, the veggies were done right. But the rice was cheap Uncle Ben's style. The staff was friendlier, the place run in a more professional manner.

The National Bank Lounge at Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport reminded me of a bus station that had been converted to an airport lounge using decor found at Jysk. It’s run down, filthy, and some of the staff look like you have just ruined their day. If you’re motivated to get a MasterCard just to use the lounge, maybe think again.

Lounge is OK, had a free visit with my MasterCard. It’s big and has comfortable seating but not enough desks to work from. Food is OK but would expect more if you are paying. Otherwise it’s clean and ambiance is quiet. Between this lounge and the Air Canada lounge, I would say they are pretty similar and if you had the option it really depends where your boarding door is located, they are at opposite direction one to the other at roughly 5-7 min walk.

Nice quiet lounge on the 2nd floor. Separate adult only and family areas which was nice. Lots to drink including name brands. We were there for breakfast so typical fare was available...eggs, ham, potatoes, fruit, etc.

Its a nice benefit having access to a lounge during longer layovers. I only gave 4 stars because my two visits here have had constant wifi issues with the VIP login. However their best features is that they have tonnes of plug ins for devices, and have some hot food for layovers (both times had a protein, starch and veg) and a half decent salad bar. Bathrooms are clean and big bright windows for natural light. If they can get consistent wifi, this would be 5 stars.

Amazing lounge, most people don't understand that the law prohibits minors from accessing a bar area in the province of Quebec, and the lounge gets the blame. The parents of these minors are not blocked from bringing food back into the family area, nor are the children barred from the bathrooms. Also, don't post pictures of the staff when posting reviews, it's rude and pointless. Friendly staff, lots of room.

This is a great lounge, and it's much better than any of the Maple Leaf Lounges at YUL. It's brighter, the chairs are more comfortable, less crowded, and the food is much better too. If you travel to YUL with any regularity, do yourself a favour and pick up an Amex Platinum for the Priority Pass membership to use here.

I spent a bit over an hour here. The staff are courteous and the seating isn't too bad either.. However when it comes to food the lounge didn't have much offer particularly for vegetarians. There is a demarcated area for families with children and I noticed that an animated movir was being played on the TV there which I think is very thoughtful. I wouldn't particularly recommend the lounge to anyone who may have to pay to enter. If you can just swipe your card then go ahead.

Here on 24th Dec (Tuesday) evening and very disappointed with the poor selection of food available. Alcohol offered is on the lower end but the place seems fairly tranquil, seat was not that uncomfortable. Guest resting their bare feet on the Ottoman ???? it makes the place look like a low-cost lounge. Surely this should not be allowed?? There is a little play room for children too which is the first I've seen compared to the other lounges I've visited. This would be great for the parents and for other guests.

Great lounge. It was a bit hard to find because it was lacking signs at the airport. The Maple leaf lounge are very visible in terms of signs. The food selection is great. There 2 beers on tap available and an espresso machine for cappuccinos, lattes and espresso shots. There were also 4 types of juices and flavered water that are self serve.

It is a little PAST gate 52. When you get to the gate, keep walking past the Maple Leaf International Lounge and look for the entrance to this lounge on your right. It can be easy to miss. Inside, it looks like it's been renovated or at least has some upgraded furniture and fixtures. Food is decent.

After being in the lounge in Quebec I expected Montreal to have a better lounge since it's international. There were about 5 different liquors and the food looked disgusting. Unless you're going to go wild on the alcohol don't waste your money there were no conference rooms or any privacy you'll be more comfortable spending your money downstairs at a bar and getting decent food. No tvs or entertainment either. Update: found the business area, no privacy only 2 pcs and PCs look like they were found for free 5 years ago, you'd be better conducting work on a cellphone. Even had an error message saying it may be compromised. The wifi is also not fast enough to stream media without buffering.

Nice place to wait for your flight, the food was pretty good, rice was undercooked but overall good for an airport and better than a lot of the restaurants in the airport. We had a promotional free entry so it was worth it but I would not pay the base fee, only worth it if you have free access. Also note there is no service for the food, it is a cafeteria style and you bring your dishes back.

The worst lounge ever there is, no cleaners to remove the left overs of travelers before me, bad attitude of workers, very fussy & annoying place to rest & wait for your flight if you come early, I travel frequently, travelled to Canada many times since the 90's when they used the Mirabel airport as the main one which was amazing & used Trudeau airport 5 times but didn't have the time to visit the lounge before this time. I have been to so many airport lounges as a business traveler all around the world but never experienced such a horrible experience as this "lounge"

For a free Salon you can't ask much more. The few alcohol selection is more than enough and the food is quite fair (one meal and multiple options aides to eat or make sandwiches). During week-ends evenings it can be difficult to have à place to sit. Edit : at my last 2 visits there was a 45 minutes lineup.

My experience during the time of covid was pretty amazing we were here in 2021. The only thing you have to keep in mind is they let you check in the lounge is before 3 hours of your flight. So if you have layover of over 3 hours they charge you double If you decide to check in early. So let's say if you have 8 hours of layover you have to spend approx 5hours outside the lounge and then check in. Staff is however very friendly and helpful. Washrooms are clean and tidy. They make sure to give you nice seating and they bring your food at the table. For drinks you have to go to them. The only down side is they don't have showers they only have regular washrooms. Over all a good experience.

I’m not a member. I payed CND$56.34 to stay here. With a limit of 3 hours. The food reminded me of high school (chicken on tomato sauce, overcooked vegetables, fake potatoes). Nothing special about pastries. Bad pastries in Montreal? I would risk saying that the pastries were once frozen. The coffee? Should I call it coffee? I cannot find one item in the available food that could save the day or justify 1/4 of the price to get in. The place was probably 60% full, busy and NOISY. You have nicer places to sit to rest or work, better quality and more options for food (for less money) outside the Lounge. Airport washrooms are clean. The airport has WiFi, or just use your own data. Only two reasons someone would stay here: if it’s free because they are member or if you like to drink alcohol. Overall, the place is lacking enthusiasm, quality...

Stopped here with my partner while making a connection on our first international trip since Covid. Access was easy via Priority Pass (Amex Platinum). Lounge is huge, comfortable, great light, and very clean (Covid rules were definitely in place and being respected.) This is a good lounge for most travellers in Heathrow. It is a bit fiddly to get to as you have to go down one floor and up two. The food is adequate but nothing more. The internet works well and there are plenty of seat. There are not a lot of flight screens and the flights are not called.

Horrible. Thought it would make sense to go to grab a light meal before my late night flight. Entry gained via Priority Pass and paid 28$. It was very crowded due to many late evening departures. There must have been a climate control problem because the temperature was HOT. The food? Cheese tortellini or “Portuguese” Rice. Both over-cooked, and neither were substantial for a long flight. Everything else was picked through, like the two desert offerings. There was staff buzzing about, but they did not seem to be replacing food or napkins. A number of chairs were in serious disrepair and their USB and outlets did not work. We left early to grab a seating at a resto below. What a waste of cash.

Yes a quiet lounge to escape from the hustle of Montreal airport but food is bland. Been here twice and both times have the same rice with beef stew (flight crew having it called it mystery meat which is quite apt), and Ratatouille (tomato paste with almost cooked vegetables). On the plus side the alcohol is fully stocked, so they have fixed the previous review where only one alcohol option was available.

They have separated adults with children into a lounge at the back in the corner away from the Windows. You have to go to the other side of the lounge separated by a barrier in order to get food. Once you have food you can come back and order an acholic beverage from a waitress that comes by when she is not tending the restrictive Gate to the other side. On top of that they have a tray of cookies full of Nuts. Good luck to you all in the children's section with nut allergies. Worst lounge ever. If they would have told us the lounge was split into two zones before entering we would have left to spare the bad review.

Watch out - this place fills up quick because it is so good! If you have the National Bank World MasterCard, access is included with your card. Staff are very polite, and the food and snacks are welcome relief from the traditional junk food that the airport offers. There is a business centre, and a few TVs, usually tuned RDS channels. It's located just after gate A51. Some other lounge cards (such as Priority) are accepted here.

Coffee is important to me and this phone simply doesn't have good coffee. Vancouver and Winnipeg lounges there is a person making your coffee, and I'm talking espresso drinks, but not here. There is some all-in-one machine that puts out a very poor product. Two stars are for excellent staff, one star for okay food. Two stars missing for not having good coffee.

Utter disappointment. No food variety. Meat and potatoes in the breakfast were stale. Servers are unprofessional and keep chit chatting amongst themselves. The area just below the lounge was just the same. Seems like they just put up a door upstairs and made a lounge out of it. Downside: no shower! The whole airport looks very old and needs upgrade.

The seating and layout isn’t bad. That’s where the good part ends. The food is absolutely hot garbage compared to other lounges. The menu today consisted of: Apples and oranges Beef stroganoff Jasmine rice Ratatouille Pea soup Cold bread with tomato sauce aka. Tomato pizza Bagels and bread Cold cuts and cheese Two bite Brownies and trail mix. For such a foodie city the food options here were pretty lacking.

While being inside a lounge at an airport is more relaxing than being in a busy terminal, some lounges are not worth the detour or the money that you have to pay to gain access. I used a paid membership to access this lounge, meaning that I did not get in simply because an airline gave me a free pass. It was not a particularly busy time at the Montreal international airport that evening, but this lounge was overly busy. There were a couple of free seats, but no quiet corners. The food selection was shamefully limited, worse than what you would get at a school cafeteria. The drink selection was laughable, which is the only kind word that I could find to describe it. This lounge is a waste of time and money. Next time, I will find a restaurant or a bar in a quiet corner and, at the very least, order something to my liking.

Lounge itself was fine, with a good selection of food and beverages. My issue was with the scene that was made while I was bringing my breakfast to my seat. I had already been in the lounge for 10 minutes, and as I carried my plate to my seat, one of the attendants told me that the lounge was for those over the age of 18 and asked my age. I am 22. She did not believe me and insisted on seeing ID. Upon seeing that I was not lying, I was offered no apology. I left quickly after a few bites to eat as I was embarrassed and uncomfortable. I have no problem with a lounge enforcing its rules, but if this needed to be done, it should have been done at check in or in a more courteous manner. Additionally, lounge employees were clicking the smiley face “how was your experience” buttons, in what I assume is an effort to inflate their score.

Easily the most horrible lounge I've been to and I've travelled all over the world for business. We were treated as second class because we were with our 9 year old and 4 month old (sleeping). Both kids had business class tickets but we all had to go to the "family" area with awful snack foods like pizza and nuggets that had clearly been sitting under the heater for hours and were all wilted. The nicer food is unavailable to "families" and then you get treated like a criminal being accompanied by staff to toilets on the over-18 side. They ask "are you wanting to use the bathroom?" as I stand there holding my baby in front of a person on guard at the cordoned off area (the baby change is also in the adult section!). "No, I'm here to raid your alcohol and steal the nicer food and my baby wants to disturb your other business passengers please". I mean really?! Yes my daughter needs to pee! If you hold a business ticket as a child, the charge is the same as for adults, there should be no forcing of a family section to maintain quiet for adults. If this is such a concern then have a "quiet" section where no mobiles or kids are permitted, but keep the toilets and nice food available to all! And don't say it is because of liqueur license issues. Funnily enough no other lounge has this. I am originally from Montreal and proud of my city, but I was very ashamed of this lounge last week and cannnot believe BA has chosen it as a partner.

It was dirty, over crowded and didn’t have any food selection. We had our kids with us, and they have a family section they packed us into. I know its the pandemic and everyone works hard, but. When you are open until 10 pm. Stay open until 10 pm. At 21:40 a women was refused entry. Hey 20 mins its late and she has a late flight. 21;45 all drinks removed by staff and were clearing the place so they could go home at 22:00 or early. Asking us to finsh drinks so the glasses could be collected. Reason the person washing them was tired and had a long day. Same excuse when I was served a drink, log day she was tired. Hey we all travelling and taking the red eye. We are all tired. Lack of professionalism, more concerned about going home than catering to clients.

Very disappointed. My husband and I were very early for our flights and thought we'd treat ourselves to this a lounge experience. I have Priority Pass (paid for a year membership which gives me access at a price per visit which went up the day I signed on) So it was actually kind of costly. The lounge is decorated well with lots of big chairs and power to charge up. It was busy and bright, not very restful. There was dust and dirt everywhere. It took a long time for the dirty dishes to be removed. The bathrooms were really dirty - though they were nice bathrooms to be sure. BUT the worse was the food. Having now be in about 6 lounges this was by far the most disappointing. The food was minimal and tasted like a school cafeteria. I'm vegetarian, so maybe the chicken was good???but the tomato basmati rice was stuck together, overcooked and tasteless. The boiled corn and peas - boring and tasteless too. The bar would have been ok, but they kept running out of bottles and not replacing them in a timely manner, so there was little choice. They put stopper on the bottle that was so irritating it took 5 min to pour 1 ounce of liquor. The coffee machine as very nice. Wish we has sat in one of the nicer restaurants and had some good food and drinks with service for the same price. :(

We had to do a huge line to get told sorry you can't go in unless you pay, we have changed rule since couple of months and you have to get another new card in order to be eligible to go in. If was our first Time at the new mc banque nationale location on april 1 and we were very disapointed. If was lacking staff with the result that the place was filled with dirty dishes and dirty tables. Clean bathrooms and lounge area. This was a good place to start the party as our flight was delayed. The self-service bar has enough selection to keep most folks at bay.

We spent 2 hours in the lounge this evening waiting to board our flight to Paris. The entire experience was a true pleasure right from the moment we entered the space. All the staff were extremely friendly and chaleureux!!! Noteworthy were Martin from reception and Victoria who was responsible for the table service. Loved the table service, and the menu offer was very impressive. The only speed bump during the experience was the washroom cleanliness. Sadly customers today are not very thoughtful of following travellers using the facilities and the washrooms definitely needed extra attention. There were two cubicles I refused to use as they were too dirty. Meanwhile, the amazing staff made up for this opportunity. My husband works for HSBC and we were both proud of the experience HSBC offered.

I never thought about heading to the airport early... only this time I decided because I've had the right to access for a while. Wow! If I only.knew the service offered I would of arrived early to all my flights! Will go again 10/10

The lounge is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome! Now that they do the food service, it can be a little bit long, which is totally understandable given the large amount of clients. I have to make a special mention about Martin, the host! Martin’s kindness and professionalism is outstanding. He is so pleasant and really makes each one of my visits special, he is one of the reasons why I keep coming back to the National Bank lounge. Thank you! :)

Very nice place to while away the time until boarding. There are hot and cold foods, alcohols and snacks, all free of charge. I could get used to this level of comfort. The ladies who take care of travelers are always replenishing things and revoving dirty dishes etc.

I have had the PRIVILEGE to be served by Victoria while waiting for my flight to France, and somehow I feel this will be the highlight of my holiday? Rarely have I witnessed such sheer passion, energy and authenticity from anyone in the service industry. She made my night, and there’s no doubt in the world she’ll also do yours. In the times of covid travel things are not easy, not for the traveller's, not for the hosts. Today I was unlucky with the service , as I was repeatedly seated in immediate proximity of others. I asked to be moved away further from a heavily coughing family and was after some wait seated in front of an eating pair. The argument was that one the plane I will also be among other people, and no matter what I will sit next to others. There is "next" and "immediately next", with the virus transmission it makes a big difference. Probably, for a long wait the lounge is great - one sits in armchairs, can eat and rest. For a few minutes stop over like mine it was far off from good. Cutlery not clean, food like in a hospital cantina, wine quite mediocre. Staff is eager to clean while you are still chewing, with their masks under a nose. Just be patient, I guess. Cheers!

I have recently checked in for my flight after a very long, anticipated vacation. Upon arriving at Banque Nationale lounge, we were immediately greeting with superb service. Immediately after seating us in our seats, our server Victoria made us feel welcome. Victoria was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made us laugh which was an absolute delight. You have a true customer service ambassador on your hands, and am greaful to have experienced excellence. Bravo!

Most disappointing experience this evening 26 December at the National Bank Lounge in YUL. - Long line to register upon entrance with a long wait and no social distancing - Relatively unpleasant staff - Limited selection of food and drinks, for instance no dry white wine or no dry bubbly. Regrettably, this lounge does not meet the basic expectations of a business class lounge.
