This newly renovated lounge started on the right foot about two years ago. Good food, a nice bar with single malt whisky, and a cook who did nooodle dishes on demand. That was then. This is now. Food variety reduced - fewer options. Food quality/flavour now bland either no character. Last two visits "We ran out of single malt". It implies there is a daily quota, or they've just abandoned it. This is a disappointment for sure. Maple leaf lounges are managed by a contracted service provider. I think they are slacking. To bad. They had a good thing going.

TRANSBORDER LOUNGE - Large, bright, and welcoming. Floor the ceiling windows overlooking the tarmac. The food options are definitely limited (soup and salad with chips), but the drink selection is decent. The seating is comfortable and the environment is very pleasant.

Reasonable good lounge with sufficient space and very comfortable seats to relax. Located near Gate A52. There is a nice 737 Max aireplane model in the lobby of the lounge. The entrance is at the ground floor and you can either take the stairs or the elevator after your documents have been checked. I was disappointed by the selection of the food, also limited healthy options, no fruits and no desserts

Very nice lounge. It wasn't busy during my stay (midday on a Tuesday). Transition from breakfast to lunch was happening, so there were eggs, sausage and hash browns, followed by veggie pasta and flatbreads. The Japanese noodle bar was being prepped while I was there. Alcohol is served starting at 11:00.

A spacious and clean lounge with a good layout. There is a serviced bar for spirits and cocktails, a drinks and snack buffet mainly with nachos++. The food corner was not attended for my 5pm flight. Some sad farfalle primavera were on offer. They were overcooked and had already taken on the colour of the veggies they came with. This is a shame as departing for Europe, it is better to eat in the lounge and sleep on the plane. Staff was polite and on top of things. I did not see any shower facilities but was not looking out for them. A WiFi printer and scanner is available.

Very poor... After many flights with a different airline my husband and I decided to flight with Air Canada due to Covid that has registered great number of cases in USA. Unfortunately it has been a nightmare. We are traveling with our 3 months old son, so we called to Air Canada ahead of time in order to book our seats and request the bassinet to our baby. However, even with everything booked in advance they put us on separates seats without the bassinet!! As soon as we arrived in our first stop Vancouver tô Montreal - 5 hours flight) we called Air Canada to complain and ask to fix the issue at least for our next stop which will be the longest ( Montreal to São Paulo, more than 10 hours flight). The agent from customer service only apologized and said there is nothing he can do, plus said he could see our request but he couldn’t explain why they haven’t booked our seats and guarantee the bassinet. It is our first time traveling with a baby, which is not easy, and now, thanks to you, Air Canadá, it will be an unforgettable nightmare. Definitely, this will be my last time flying with you.

As I write this, this flagship lounge is a dingy place with limited food options, no showers, and essentially made of two rooms full of chairs. It's a temporary arrangement. The new Maple Leaf Lounge, downstairs, opens "in summer 2017" - we're in summer 2017, but I guess we have two more months of the summer still to go technically. Here's hoping I can refresh this review then.

Internation lounge : Maple leafs lounge are a pretty good standard worldwide. Always pleasant to hit one of them. The Dorval one has everything you would need: -Quiet -Showers -Comfortable It feels nice to be there. Pretty comparable to a Lufthansa Senator Lounge. On the critique side: - Food (Maple leaf lounge tried to improve lately on their food but still very tasteless) . Still way better than American lounges, no comparison. At least they are trying -Wine: this is Canada , I don't get that we get served Californian wine in a Canadian lounge. This is an opportunity to discover Canadian wines . And there are some good ones . They are expensive but the lounge is one of the best way for travelers to experience the richness of our culture. So please Air Canada , stop with the Californian wine. 4 stars because of food and wine .

I arrived to the lounge with my wife and two years old son, the receptionist was a woman name Sophie according to the tag she was wearing . As soon as we were in front of her my wife and I showed her our American Express platinum credit cards and right away she told my wife that she wasn't the main card holder ( hers is a supplementary card, since I am the main holder) therefore she had to pay to enter and that only I would be allowed without paying a fee, I explained her that the supplementary holder has the same benefits as the main holder , she then became very irritable and truly made us feel bad. Then she went to look at a manual stating that perhaps the rules had change, then she took our cards and proceeded to scan them both just to find out that we were right. Then she told me in a very rude manner that my son had to pay to enter the lounge, which I knew because he is 2.5 years old however the way she treated us was so bad and she displayed such poor customer service skills that we decided to not to use the lounge anymore. I have used it previously in Toronto and had a great experience but unfortunately the representative I found in Montreal, really seemed to want to make sure we had the worse possible experience.

Bright and clean and with friendly staff. Would probably not pay for it if it was not included with my air canada ticket. Everything was really excellent and well above the national bank lounge next door. Only downside the service is variable depending on the people, the Manager this evening was very noisy and constantly on the phone, too bad. 1 star as of my current posting because I can't even get access to the lounge yet. Everyone be prepared, they open at 9am on a Sunday (and most days) - note the Plaza Premium Lounge is already opened. Mom and I were thinking we could get to the airport early to enjoy the lounge as our flight departs at 11am. Needless to say that dream has been throughly quashed for the next 20minutes until the pinched-faced-hates-the world-attendant opens the door! I don't even care that it's opened at 9am!!! What really pissed me off was the fact we got YELLED at by this (censored) attandent. She basically ignored us for the 5mins we were standing out there, throroughly not giving a damn, then tried to shoo us away then followed up with an incredibly crass "9'o clock!!!! It's ON THE DOOR!!!!!" Like we were some idiots. Definitely not the treatment you'd expect from flying business, or flying any class. Couldn't she have nicely said "the lounge doesn't open until 9"? Instead of screaming at us? I don't care how nice the supposed "revamped" lounge is, if the people you hire to man your front desk is anything like this lady...well, good riddence.

Well you guys could checkout my videos for detailed descriptions. Flight from Vancouver to San Francisco! Air Canada has two maple leaf lounges in Vancouver, one for domestic, and one for international. For both of these lounges, highlight is the generosity of alcohol! But NO CHAMPAGNE.... Food offering in domestic lounge is poor, only 2 salad at noon time!! Same for US departure! The one on international side is slightly better, they are currently expanding the MLL for the international one, it offers sushi, spring rolls..... On the second floor!!! But compared to world standard, the maple leaf lounge truly do need a serious upgrade!

There is no hot food between 9am-11am. Snack selection during 9am-11am is limited, baked goods include toast, croissant and mini chocolate croissant. No alcohol served until 11am (even though restaurants in the airport start serving alcohol at 9am). Front desk staff is nice but we encountered an unfriendly and unhelpful staff inside the lounge so was not a positive experience.

I get a free pass from my Air Canada credit card and enjoy visiting the other clubs, this one had little to no food, staff was no where to be found compared to passengers in the club, it might have been the late time I visited the club. A boy barely 13 years old! Do you apply the rule? Okay. And the judgment? How would it have changed talking to my husband to discuss a solution together! My boy didn't need to be treated like this! And having Super Elite 100 status, we expected another level of service! We will take the complaint higher for sure. You are probably unionized and that will not change a thing. I fly frequently with air canada and I have to say that this lounge is the best air canada lounge in the country. Beautiful layout, excellent food selection and the staff is what really makes the experience five stars. Christopher was extremely courteous and made my wife and I an array of cocktails that deserve the title of “artist”. What a pleasant young man. We almost wanted to delay our flight just to spend more time at his bar. The rest of the staff were also delightful, always smiling, and made the experience wonderful! I would recommend this lounge to anyone traveling international from the Montreal-Trudeau airport.

As all lobbies are really nice before a flight to unwind, and/or be able to do some work in a more peacefull and formatted space than waiting by ones gate or terminal restaurant/bar. This lobby is updated with all the amenities you would expect from a lounge, fresh food (Hot & Cold), Fruit, assorted beverages (Coffee, soda, tea, beer, cocktails etc.) and has exceptional bartenders. with an effective layout.

Compared to Air Canada lounge in Toronto, this is a way better place. It is tasetfully decorated and offers a wider variety of foods. The staffs are very polite, helpful and accomodating. The lounge location is also very close to depature gates.

Great lounge! This is huge lounge for international flight!! This is located in front of a exit of connection gate from domestic flight. The reception is the concourse floor and the lounge is up floor. There are many sofas, bar counters and tables so easy to fine to relax! There are not only refreshments but good foods for lunch. It’s very clean and of course the bathroom is very clean. You can prepare your things before your long flight. Great lounge!! I hope you relax here!!

It is the worst airline in Canada, they are only interested in making money. I had a regrettable experience with one of her supervisors, Ms. Sonia Mansi, who wanted me to pay for a hotel reservation if I wanted to return to my own country. For 3 weeks I contacted Air Canada agents who assured me that I could travel without problems, when I arrived at the airport they prevented me. I am literally a Cuban citizen who has been prevented by Air Canada from returning to his country if I do not have a hotel booked. No one has explained to me, no one from Air Canada has made the gesture of communicating with me, my advice, if you can avoid traveling with this incompetent company then avoid it.

Nicely renovated lounge (since last time I was there, which was quite some time ago). Food is good and better than in the domestic or transborder lounges. I don't quite understand why they insist on having a bar, though, especially if they have a single person serving. At peak times, it is difficult to get something to drink.
