Food is not great. If you are expecting gastro-pub kinda food you will be disappointed. I got the Sol Caesar that came with calamari and bacon wrapped scallops, caesar was super soggy like it was made and dressed earlier in the day, calamari definitely comes from a bag and the scallops were unfortunately way over cooked and dry. Rest of the group had similar experiences. Great view and friendly staff, but food is standard sub-par pub grub.

My husband and I went there for the first time this evening. We had the calamari, wings and meatballs. The calamari was one of the best I have ever had and we ordered a second round of the meatballs and wings. Not only was the food extremely well done, the service was second to none and the at atmosphere is unbeatable. Well done! PS My husband's ceasar was nice and spicy with all the right flavors. Yummy!

We held our wedding reception at Salt and Sol in September 2020 and were thrilled with how it went. The food and service was incredible and exceeded our expectations. Neally and Jenna were so easy to work with - they made great suggestions and came up with a menu that wowed even our most particular guests and incorporated our favourite foods. We booked the restaurant pre-pandemic when we thought we might have a stand-up reception. We ended up having a sit-down dinner for 50 and it worked perfectly sizewise -- intimate but not too crowded. The staff were diligent about our safety; Neally and Jenna kept us updated on evolving the public health guidelines and we felt very comfortable bringing our loved ones there. Even having spent years eating at the venue, we were amazed with how it transformed. The bar offers a classy backdrop and with table linens and a bit more decor, it struck the relaxed yet elegant vibe we had hoped for. Plus guests were able to have cocktails on the deck before and after dinner and the view is gorgeous. We'd do it all over again!

Super awesome spot right by the water and marina. Highly recommend. The garage doors overlooking the ocean while enjoying great company, food and drink makes it worth the walk down the boardwalk from the waterfront. Don’t miss this gem. If I wasn’t taken there by friends who live there, I would have never experienced it. Thanks Kent and Lisa!!

Beautiful spot for seafood and drinks. We loved the calamari!! The mix of calamari with chorizo and red peppers was such a treat. Fish and chips were also delicious.

This is the perfect place for drinks and dinner on a nice summer evening. The patio is comfortable and offer amazing views. The drink and cocktail menu is creative and topical with something for everyone. The dinner menu is intentional and well executed. All 7 of us raved about our meals and drinks! Last but not least, the service was top notch as-well. They were timely, friendly and handled all of our requests gracefully. Highly recommend Salt & Sol for a relaxing dinner in downtown Charlottetown.

A Beautiful Day in the neighborhood as we stopped here for lunch at the Charlottetown Yacht Club last June during our 3 month trek across wonderful Canada! It was a very nice setting overlooking the harbour. Our server, Branden, was attentive, courteous and friendly. Our Food was excellent. Doris started off with a White Sangria while I cooled off with a couple Commons Beer to go with our Avocado Bites and ½ dozer raw oysters on the half shell. Bill came to $ 74 CAD ($56 USD). Awesome Patio Experience! Me and some friends came here for the first time on their opening night last Friday, we heard a lot of good things from friends and were not disappointed! I had the Mussels, my friend got the ribs and we where both very impressed by the quality and the price! We only planned for coming for an hour or two but ended up staying the whole night, great spot to vibe with friends and meet cool people! Our new Favorite Patio in Charlottetown !

Had a group lunch with colleagues and the hospitality was great, views are the best if you are looking for a by-the-water lunch. I ordered the Summer smash (great drink but slightly over priced) and Thai meatballs with a side of sweet potato fries (the food was delicious ???? ????). Would definitely recommend and myself come back again.

Ate here over the weekend. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. But paid $80 for a pitcher of sangria, a beer and half dozen oysters. Not to mention that we waited over 35minutes for oysters and they were not shucked (still stuck in the shell), there was no juice in them and we were served them with no cutlery. Not a great experience not worth what we paid at all. Would much have ratcheted paying for the same amount of food elsewhere.

Best RIBS EVER!! Came here with some close friends after an awesome day on the water - we where all starving to say the least! I got the ribs and we split on an assortment of appetizers. I was blown away by the quality of the food and fast service. Can't wait to come back again and try some more items on the menu! Definitely our new go to spot Post Kitesurfing Sessions. My husband and I went last week for lunch. Restaurant is nice, great atmosphere and patio overlooking the marina. Staff was great, friendly and polite. We ordered the lobster rolls with fries, which were market price. We didn't bother asking what the market price for the day was, we should have. The lobster rolls arrived on the plate with french fries, zero attempt at presentation. The lobster rolls had way too much mayo! A good lobster roll only requires minimal seasoning, the lobster meat should be the feature and speak for itself. Flavours were good, but rolls were a little small, probably the least amount of lobster I have had in a roll with a bonus of 2 small pieces of shell. Easy on the mayo! Overall, disappointed and the most we have ever paid for lobster rolls. The menu was nice with some good choices, but not sure we will try again.

The staff at Salt & Sol are truly amazing, uplifting, and vibrant people. When you walk in you can feel immediately that it is a welcoming and positive environment full of people who are happy to be there and go above and beyond to accommodate their customers. The restaurant was bright, colourful and full of local art. Upon arrival we were greeted with warm smiles, cozy blankets, and a menu full of local options to chose from for both drinks and food. I would recommend to anyone to check it out these girls did an amazing job!
