Popular place for a walk. Great for kids. Nice playground, benches and picnic tables. Can sometimes see whales, seals, float planes, marine traffic.

The Tyee spit is a beautiful place. The path which goes alongside the famous tyee pool is safe, smooth and welcoming. Our family has spent so many excellent days here.

I've gone a couple times Tyee fishing here and its been a great evening every time. I have yet to catch a big though but would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to have a good night of rowing in the old row boats (motor boats aren't allowed in the pool). It's also a perfect spot to stop and have lunch when in Campbell River or to watch the cruise ships go by.

Thee place for authentic tyee fishing. World Renowned tyee club. Very nice people but hard to join club the old fashion way. John Wayne tried, never did it.

This was an incredible day of Dragon Boating. I was cheering on the Sea Sisters from Cowichan Bay in Duncan. They did an awesome job today. Everybody did an awesome job. The weather held had lots of fun a salmon bbq DELICIOUS!!!. First time ever seeing this kind of race. You don't race long but it us a work out and the team's have to be in their mark. WELL DONE!!!

We buy our coffee at Fogg Dukkers and go out to enjoy the scenery and activities..kite flying at the Spit. Some dog owners do not read signs. They let their dogs run loose and do not pick up. They are going to spoil it for everyone.

Tyee fishing in Campbell River's Tyee Pool should be a bucket list experience for everyone! This is a 5 star experience! The Club has deep heritage, and high respect for the salmon. You fish from a rowboat with limited tackle in the hopes of hooking up with a Chinook salmon for the fight of a lifetime. The rowing experience itself is highly rewarding and for those that catch a salmon - there are smiles all around!
