First time at the Easy Pour. The food was great, so was the live band. We sat upstairs and could easily hold a conversation during the sets. We reserved the late sitting and would not hesitate doing this again. The service was attentive and the courses where well timed. Highly recommend this quaint little restaurant.

Wow! Not much else to say. Food, service and facility are top notch. We were a group of 6 and opted for the upstairs dining room. Very intimate and private room. Food was excellent. I ordered the salmon and it was prepared to perfection. Wine list is extensive and covers all spectrum of taste and budget. Very well done Easy Pour! I will definitely be back.

Great food and wine! And wonderful service too! You do need a reservation as the place is small but very quaint with a great atmosphere. Last night the bartender/ sommelier /server (Sadie) was awesome ????. She right away made our evening fun. Very friendly, you could tell a smile even though she wore a mask. It's been a while since we were here and she asked what type of wine ???? I would like. After I described a full body, dry, red. .. she with confidence brought me a full glass to try her recommendation. And it was perfect. An old Vine zinfandel. Wow I think I found a new favorite wine lol. For dinner we shared the mussels. And they were delicious!! The sauce you want to eat with a spoon ???? it's so good. For the main, i had the sundried tomatoes chicken on a bed of pasta ???? mmmmm mmm good! And my hubby had the lamb ???? medium rare, and he too said it was done perfect. We were not going to have dessert, but after a great suggestion from our server Sadie, we had a taffy/ caramel slice of cheese ????. What? Yes lol. It was like a very dense cheesecake. And it tasted like caramel/taffy. Really good. We will definitely be back. They used to have live music here before the pandemic. Hopefully that will return some time soon. The restaurant has two levels, if you can't do stairs you should mention it when you book your reservation.

We specifically went for the Stephen. Oh well. We will be enjoying the comforts of The Easy Pour Wine Bar another time and hopefully they have Stephen back in stock.

I don't think I've ever walked out of a restaurant prior to eating, but I couldn't leave Easy Pour fast enough. What an absolutely terrible experience. To begin, our waitress didn't know the price nor could she pronounce/remember the types of cheeses on the cheese board. I'm not one to pick on someones physical appearance, but she had long fake nails with at least one missing. Not something you want to see from someone handling your food. When we ordered wine the bottle wasn't presented to us. A small pour to taste wasn't offered. This is a "wine bar" and they don't know how to serve wine?? We weren't checked on the entire time. We waited two hours for our mains when there were two other tables in the entire restaurant. Absolutely ridiculous. When we finally decided we'd had enough and informed another waitress that we'd just like our bill, our original waitress came over to the table with one of the plates and was exceptionally rude. When I told her we were leaving as we'd been waiting two hours for food with no communication (while watching other tables who arrived after us receive their food), she gave us such attitude I was shocked. We were told the owner was away in Chicago. But there is ZERO excuse for the service we were given. Will definitely never return and I can see why they only had four tables on a Saturday night.

A nice date night or upscale spot. Good wine list and has a craft beer list that will suit the needs of most people. I would say the sharables are the best dishes. The entrees are average plates. Went with a group of 7 people, and while everyone likes their dishes no one was raving afterward. Most of us would go again to share a cheese/meat board with a glass of wine. Two salmon entrees, the one I sampled was fine, salmon was leaning towards the over done side. Two ratatouille dishes, which had uneven portions. This dish was average, felt over priced. Side salad was probably the best part. One chicken dish, average. Not much more of a comment from that. Others ate the cheese board and sharables. Two people had creme brulee for dessert. It was rather flavorful but was cold at the bottom. Our server was very nice, treated us well. Was pretty attentive and timely. Our visit was 2 hours in length.

Hubris reigns supreme. Sure the food is good, but $11 for a rum & coke? How about $15 for an olive tapanade? $25 for Gnocchi? $12 cheesecake? $75 (including tip) for one person means you're going to work for 5.5 hours at minimum wage to earn your dinner... It's a small venue that's a little bit out-of-the-way, but if you want the treat of high-quality, well-prepared food, and don't suffer from a skimpy wallet, then this is the place, PARTICULARLY with the live musical talent which they employ. That was essentially the centrepiece for the evening! Our entertainer, Michael Maguire, was great! I hope he got paid handsomely...

Went here for what was suppose to be a light lunch and ended up getting more because the menu was so enticing! We sat on the small patio, which was quiet and the tables well spaced. Mother’s day brunch 2018, we waited 45 minutes just to have our drink orders taken. We waited a total of 2 hours for our breakfast as well. We arrived a few minutes before opening and we were the 3rd table seated. I’m no sure what the issues was... The waiter did opologies but other then that it was no big concern to them the time we had waited to get service and our food. Customer service a big fail.

We went there last night for a date and not only that the service was absolutely impeccable and the owner very friendly and attentive, but the food was delicious and carefully prepared. The atmosphere was very intimate, with nice music, candle light, and allowed for conversation. We would definitely go there again.

Been driving by this place wanting to go. Finally had the opportunity. My wife and I ended up ordering to much food because we couldn't narrow down our choices because they sounded good..the kicker there was we will always order a charcuterie plate when available. It was all good to great. We ended up chatting with the bday party at the next table about the other items on the menu. Our focus is on good food and we will return. The wine menu was good and there were some good beer selections ad well. They lost a star due to the live music being to loud.

Prior to covid - reservation 1 week out . Got there- confusion. Told to "take any seat at the bar " of which only 2 available at opposite ends. Uh - no. Went to elixer downtown Cambridge- the best. After a dozen dinners at the easy pour - will never go back. Too bad 5 mins from my house.

I had a wonderful time having a little bit of everything on their menu. Me & my friend thoroughly enjoyed their wine, food & the live music. The food was beautiful, tasted great. We had almost all the items on their shareable appetizers. The cheese fondue however was not very "cheesy" there was a hint of cheese. The cabbage rolls were good, mostly meat though & not much rice. The meat inside was not very warm though. The tomato sauce on it was fresh & delicious. The staff was so friendly & wonderful I'm going to try to make it a habit to go there on Tuesday. Of you haven't had the pleasure of listening to Junyet play, I encourage you to go. His music alone is worth the trip.

We used to love this place but the last experience was terrible. We were asked to preselect our meals before our reservation since we were a larger group (group of 10) but we still had to wait 1.25 hours to get the first course (no offer of bread or anything while we waited). When the food did eventually arrive it was either over- or under-cooked, and 9 out of the 10 people in the group were ill that night from it. There was no offer to make up for the wait or the inedible food in the end. Extremely disappointed with the experience and would not recommend this place.

Something was broken tonight at the Easy Pour. All I heard was excuses about the lack of service because of the party of 30 people dining upstairs. We had reservations for 7 pm, but were not seated until almost 730. Then they were out of the tuna tartare and the fondue appetizers. Really? At 7 pm? The saving grace tonight was the music, a group called "Unheard Of" who were great. Finally, by the time someone actually had time away from the 30 people upstairs to take our dessert order, they had only a few desserts left. Tonight was less than a horrible experience but certainly a far cry from our last experience which was superb. I hope the management of Easy Pour learn and perform much better the next time, or I for one will not be back.

We just went there for a girls night out last night. I had an amazing experience. The food is excellent. I really appreciate good food and that is the reason I don't usually go out, because it is really hard to find a place with good food and reasonably priced. Their wine selection is very large. Great wines! The entertainment (live music) was wonderful as well, and Alin is a great host. The setting is great and I loved the tasty rustic decoration and the art on their walls. I loved it there and will definitely go back! I highly recommend this place.

We made a reservation for 3 and we were the only ones there. It was the most cold restaurant experience we’ve ever had. The host/server barely said two words to us and the food was not that great. On top of the fire alarm kept going off and we had an infant with us so there was no acknowledgement or any reassurance there wasn’t any fire or issues.

The appetizers are really good as well as the service. However I wasn't impressed with the quality of the entrees. I ordered lamb shanks and I'm pretty sure they forgot to sauce it before it left the kitchen, as it was the only braised dish I've ever had that was on the dry side. Speaking of sides their's were really under seasoned. There was no salt on the table, and I waited at least 10 minute after I had to get up and ask them for it. Once I got it the food was ok. Like I said before, the appetizers are where this place really shines. A big plus for this place is their vast knowledge of wine. The service is excellent and they are able to recommend a wine for you based on a brief description of some of the flavours you normally like. They are one of the only places that offer 3 oz glasses and that makes it really easy to try multiple wines and may encourage you to try something new.

PHENOMENAL! Super fancy place with all the fancy trimmings. My first time BUT won’t be my last. This establishment does't follow proper COVID restrictions. Although the food was good and the entertainment was wonderful, I felt very uncomfortable because the tables were too close together and there were too many people sitting upstairs. I didn't get a chance to eat here but this review is based on the poor management by the owners. Their hours of operation posted on Yelp and Google are incorrect and there are no closing hours posted on their website. When I arrived they were just closing up and indicated that they were aware of this but passed the blame on to Yelp and Google. They were unapologetic about it and It's a very simple matter to have the hours changed with a little persistence. My trip out from the GTA was a total waste of time

We went on a Wednesday, which as it turns out is a special "wine Wednesday" meaning they open a special cellar wine and serve it by the glass instead of having to order it by the bottle. We went last night for dinner and sat on the Mezzazine. A small, intimate restaurant which sits less than 20 tables so make. Reservation. Everything we ordered was amazing and very flavorful! There was live music and a unique list of wines. We left with fully bellies and smiles on our faces. We will return for sure, thank you.

Not one to leave reviews but by far the worst service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. Our waiter was NOT a waiter in any means and was extremely rude and unprofessional. We were left outside on the patio after our reservation was double booked, then we were forgotten about for 20 mins sitting at the table, not being greeted once by anyone. Once finally getting inside, it took another 20 minuets for anyone to come to our table where instead of being greeted, the man was extremely rude and rushing us to order yet we hadn't even been offered to order a drink. It took us 40 minuets to get a glass of wine, an hour and 15 minuets into our reservation to get an appetizer and 2 hours to get our meal. We were never given an apology until after the bill was paid, even then it was nothing more than "sorry". Brutal. If I'm spending almost $200 for a meal, this is not what I expect. Unfortunate as the food and music is good, but service was so bad that I won't be back.

Had a large group here recently, I was a guest and did not pay for anything thankfully because the quantity of food supplied to a large group was enough to feed a family of mice. My pregnant wife was asked if she wanted wine and after she said no she was not asked again if she wanted another beverage. The cheese slices supplied were from costco I have purchased them before. Not what you would expect from a supposed upscale restaurant. Don't waste your money here. I hope the Bentley parked out front wasn't the owners.

Usually an excellent menu and certainly a very deep wine selection. I've been here numerous times with my wife and really enjoy the atmosphere, especially the upstairs portion with lounge chairs. My only advice is parking is tight so make sure you have a plan during peak times or call ahead. Across the street there is some additional parking as well.

Regrettably this has been our last visit to this restaurant. My husband and I have been twice in the last month and both times were disappointing. The service is sad. Waitresses do not smile and basically stand behind the bar and ignore you. The fool is just ok, not as special as it should be for the price. I expect to be wowed for a $36 plate. They always seem to be out of menu items or compromising on the description. Atmosphere is quaint, sometimes there is entertainment but then hard to talk. Selection is minimal. Back to the Blackshop for us!!!

Came here for brunch and was blown away by the atmosphere - beautiful flaminco guitar (live) and elegant decor. The cocktails were excellent but my food was undercooked (breakfast flatbread had raw egg whites). The service left a lot to be desired (coffee brought without spoons, very very slow). That being said, this was their first brunch so that may explain the poor execution on the flatbread and the poor service.

Our new favourite restaurant in Waterloo region. The service is always friendly and personable, relaxed but professional. The food is unique but comfortable and always delicious and perfectly cooked. Must try: Lamb popsicles, Thai muscles (get the bread dipped into that Thai sauce! Also had the ribs which were great, fondu, baked Brie, and flatbread. Everything was just right and the prices are very fair for that quality of food.

The food was top notch and the prices were appropriate for the quality. The service was horrendous. It took an hour and a half to get our food and we were never checked on during that time. Had to actually go find waitress and ask about our food twice. Once we got it, we again were never checked on till the end of our evening. That was WITH a reservation and a relatively small party.

Wow, truly an absolute hidden gem in the heart of Cambridge. Easy Pour will not disappoint. Their menu is great, the wine list has something for everyone, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is friendly and accommodating. Oh, and the live music on the weekends is always a bonus. We have been to Easy Pour several times and they always surpass our expectations. Everything is very consistent. Items ordered: - Thai Mussels. - Lamb Lollipops. - Tuna Tataki (hands down, the best tuna we have had).

Had reservations for 6pm for 6 people. Ordered bottles of wine, appetizers and the special for dinner. Bill was close to $500. We were told at 7:50 (less than 2 hours into our first experience at this establishment) that we had to leave because they had another booking for our table. Asked to speak to the manager, John. He was supposed to come up but did not. Guess we weren't important enough or spent enough money. The only best thing about tonight was the company we brought. Would I recommend this establishment to my clients and other contacts. Hell no. Lost my business and my referrals. Hope you last longer than the establishment across the street from you.

Stopped in for dinner, with a reservation, after shopping with my daughter. Sat outside on the Patio at a table for two. That evening there was a guitarist/singer playing under a tent which provided a nice, relaxing air to our dining experience. Our Server, Sandra, was simply outstanding; she was very pleasant & professional and went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our evening and dinner. We have dined here on a few previous occasions and will undoubtedly be returning in the future. Thanks again to everyone at The Easy Pour for a wonderful evening.

I like the causal and inviting atmosphere of this place. The appetizers were nice. (we had escargot and a warm dip) The salad was excellent-- very fresh ingredients prepared with the right balance of texture and layering of flavours, presented in the perfect temperature. However we were disappointed in the main course. My husband's pork chop was dry to the bone. My flatbread was also over baked and tasted one note. The chocolate cake dessert was, like the place, warm and sweet. The wine was excellent. Hopefully if we go back the main course will be better.

Owners are dedicated to delivering not only locally sourced but also largelyorganic foods and some amazing wine selections from local and abroad wineries. This place is romantic and fun to visit and enjoy. Ps. For those enjoying easter European cusine try the "mici" platter. You won't regret it.

Wine selection was great. Setting was cozy and the apps (curried mussels) were great. Unfortunately it stopped there. Terrible inattentive service and a grossly overpriced menu of mains. Despite the relatively short amount of main choices they were out of one of the proteins we chose. Would not go back for dinner. Hard to consider going back at all.

Sadly disappointed. Heard such great things about this place but our experience was less than a one star but because of the food ( once we got it) we gave it a two star. The two gentleman that worked there did not seem to be too happy we were there. Service was soo slow. The gentleman sat on their phones at the bar several times while Our glasses sat empty, the food took what seemed and eternity to come. When it came it was good, very hot. We were offered dessert, 2 options, and we ordered one of them. It took close to 40 Minutes for it to come out. Our water glasses were left unfilled and no offer of another glass or wine etc. We wanted to leave, but both gentleman just went in the back. Once we got the dessert is was not worth the wait. We mentioned something to our server about the time it took and he just sighed and said " yes, it did take a long time". If we would have known it was going to take that long we would not have ordered it. There was no offer of a discount or at the minimum a credit for the 10.00 apple crumble that came in a ramekin. My husband and I enjoy fine dining, we understand good food can take time, but with us being the ONLY ones ordering food in the restaurant the service was awful. Soo disappointing. If you are looking for some good food in a small intimate setting definitely pack your patience ! We sadly, will not be back nor will be recommend.

Terrible customer service!! Do not bother stopping here. I should have read the reviews more closely before making reservations here, as that seems to be the trend in other reviews here as well! I have NEVER in my life walked out of a restaurant with a reservation, without first eating, until we came to Easy Pour. I made reservations here for our Anniversary dinner. When speaking with the lady on the phone, I specifically asked for a seat on the upper level with a table near the edge so we could look over, as we'd never been here before and it was a special dinner. The lady said she would make a special note so we could get just that, even saying she would put "do not move" with the reserved table. To start, when we arrived the two hostesses/waitresses had their backs to us only about 2 feet away and actually continued to carry on their conversation and ignore us for at least a full 2 minutes. When they finally acknowledged us, and I was able to inform them of the reservation, she started to walk us toward a main level table, exactly the opposite of what I had requested. When I explained what I had requested and been promised they said the top level was already almost full!!! Only after telling them how displeased I was, they said they could try and squeeze us into a corner there. I was willing to see if it could work, however it was ludicrous where they expected us to sit, squished into a corner where we could barely move our chairs comfortably. It was quite an upsetting experience from the moment we walked in, that we then walked right out; speaking to the "manager" (who was present for the whole thing) on our way out, letting him know how very disappointing it all had been. We headed 1 minute up the road to Langdon Hall (with no reservation), and it was a MUCH better choice. They were so super accommodating and very kind the whole way through (despite being slightly under dressed for such a nice place, and having no reservations), the manager gave us our own special area to eat and decorated the table for us even!! I could go on, but I'll save that for a full 5 STAR review on their page. Long story shorter... DON'T GO to Easy Pour, put your money towards a place that actually cares about customer service.

Unfortunately this was not a great first visit they had live music it was so loud we left after apps, apps were good but the restaurant is too small for a guy singing with amps so high. We asked our waitress to ask the entertainment to turn it down just a bit but nothing happened, we left and finished having dinner and drinks at another restaurant. Maybe if they didnt have live music or just a guy playing acoustic we'd go back in the future. Waitress was very nice and accommodated us on a walk in.

Three of us went for lunch and had a great meal. Jim was our server and he was attentive and kind. Food was delicious. We did a tappas style lunch and had fondue, flat bread, and lamp lollipops. Everything was delicious. One in our party also enjoyed the soup de jour 'Tomato Basil" amd it was delicious. We had an enjoyable afternoon and would go back in a heartbeat.

Took two hours and no meals came, servers never came to help or explain why it took two hours to bring a lasagna. Not sure what is going here but one of the worst experiences ive have ever had in a restaurant. Bad service even though there was 4 servers for 4 tables, not sure how you can't manage to bring the food out to four tables in two hours. Ruined our Saturday night out what a mess.

Ordered a $65 bottle of wine and when they opened it over half ended up on the floor and barely got 2 glasses out of it. The owner saw the whole thing because he was there explaining the wine. When we asked for a discount, he started nickel and dime us and gave a $14 discount. I don’t mind paying for a good wine but I want to drink it not have the waitress pour it on the floor. Very poor experience, left a bad taste.

My husband and I went here last weekend, this is our second time here because we enjoyed the first visit so much. However, our second was not the same. The food was amazing, our waiter seemed to have no interest in making our visit welcoming. We felt rushed to order, when we just wanted to sit and have a drink, our glasses sat empty for the majority of our meal, when no one came to ask if we wanted another one. We had intended to stay and enjoy the music, but your lack of service was nothing to stick around for. We are very disappointed especially for the amount of money you pay at your restaurant. This is a unique environment, one we both enjoy, however, we will not take the time to visit again.

Unfortunately I had a terrible visit this past March. A friend and I went for dinner on a Saturday evening, and received very poor service. Our server had no wine suggestions when asked, and then criticized the wine I chose (and I quote "oh, that wine? the one that tastes like tennis balls?"). When I asked if they carried any natural wine options, he laughed at me and said "all wine is natural, it's made from grapes"... very condescending and ignorant. My friend asked about the beer selection, to which the waiter rudely said he didn't know what beer they carried and asked "what, do you want a full list or something?" - he then returned 5 minutes later with a sample of some random beer for her to try out of nowhere, without a list of the beer available. It just went downhill from there. The white wine I ordered was very warm, and when I asked him why, he said I was wrong, it couldn't be warm, and suggested I add ice. The food was different from what the waiter described. He disappeared shortly after delivering our food and was never seen again. Fortunately, half an hour later we were able to flag down a different waiter who agreed to provide us with a wine recommendation and then, our bill. I would expect this sort of service from a cheap chain restaurant, but was really disappointed as this is a small 'wine bar'. Aside from basic personal skills, the staff should have some wine knowledge if they are working at a wine bar, and should definitely be able to provide a list of available beer when asked. Unfortunately, I won't be back.
