I stopped in this recently for the first time and was completely blown away. Firstly, the cocktails were out of this world! Creative and impressive presentation but most of all TASTY. Then there's the food...I cannot wait to return to experience more of the menu, because I only made it to a couple of appetizers: the pork belly and the crispy Brussels with bacon. Both were fresh, beautifully presented and just so. Damn. GOOD! I'm not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best meals I have ever had. These people are creating delicious edible, drinkable art in a warm inviting atmosphere. The servers?? EYE CANDY ALL OF THEM, ALL!! Don't miss out, it's amazing!

I will admit I judged a book by its cover and thought the place was a dive. Then I made it inside with my girlfriend and I was welcomed with a experience that I can't describe with words. The people were super nice and the food was awesome. Best battered mushrooms I've had since the doll house in Kitchener closed. My girl loves the playing pool and seeing the smile on her face made my night. Would definitely recommend.

Karaoke most of the time on weekends and a lot of the same people (bar flies) go there. Lots of low lives, but still an ok dive bar to go to. Wings are not bad, french fries are plain.

Have not had the food as it didn't seem like a place that would be that great for food. Barely any drink selection, handwritten signs make it look cheap and the crowd seems to be a bunch of locals who are not all that friendly. Bartender was pretty rude as well. We only stopped in for a few drinks while passing through but left after 1 and will not be returning.

Great place if you like to play pool, darts, and sing karaoke. Reasonably priced food and almost everyday having specials I recommend the deep fried pickles or chicken wings. Not many selections of beer only 2 or 3 on tap. Then whatever they have in bottles. Staff is great at keeping everything safe and fun.

Sidelines is owned and operated by a group of very solid and respectful people. The bar, top to bottom is clean. Sidelines Sports Bar is open from 11am till close at 3 am the outside patio is a great place to enjoy the day with a ice cold drink and or a hearty meal as life passes by at 50 km a hour. well most o there is lots of parking all your needs ,they can provide parking for a small convoy of tractor trailers. It's a place to pull in end joy yourself with family and friends. Try your luck at a game of pool come on challeng the next winner or play with your friends. Oh ya i suggest you leave your attitude in the parking lot because this bar does not have any fight nights or shady buisness happening in or around thier establishment! This is a Bar that anyone can walk in to watch sports on one of the televisions . Or mabey you have a song you want to share so I Suggest you talk to the disk jockey and get into the nights line up. Believ me there are quite a few kariokiers doing their best and totally enjoying the feeling believe me the crowd knows tallent you will see them dancing and rocking out. Don't take my word for it but I believe if your anything like me, you will find yourslf making time to spend at Sidelines Bar on some kind or a skedual. Its just got that kind of effect on people as far as I can see. I can't say enough about my experiences at this Bar, the days I show up to shoot free pool or watch a sports event one one of the many televisions or i will chill on the patio listening to Classic Rock music. Come expecting good times, greatI food, with espectfull patrons and a great staff.and or on for menu, or mixed drink or a ice cold beer, or if you prefer a coffie or a nonalcoholic drinks. You will enjoy the great specials they are cooking up in kitchen and bring to a your table or a table near you, and soon enough I think you will be enjoying a side of wings or....heck a small meal is not my idea of eating and when I order a meal sometimes it's just to much for me at the time so I just ask that my leftovers are put into a takeout containr, till your departure. Thanks for reading my novel, and now I feel I need to say i don't work at this bar and have no plans to, or do I have a bar tab owing hahaha, i feel very comfortable and my senses are always sparked and fulfilled when I am enjoying my time spent at Sidelines Bar in downtown Preston, Cambridge. Very "meh" experience. Music was OK, lots of old and recent rock, then some Sublime every now and then. Service at the table can be good, or non-existant, depending on your server. Good service will keep tabs every 10 minutes, or you won't even get served unless you flag someone down. Fries are really good. Onion rings too. Typical bar food, and taste amazing after a couple of beer. Beer selection is actually good. Lots of local, domestic and imported brews. The server I had could even mix a drink (congrats). If it wasn't for my barely available server, my rating would raise to 4 stars. If it didn't look like it hasn't been renovated since the early nineties, I'd raise it to 4 stars. Location is great. Wish beer was cheaper.... but that can't be helped.

There is literally no reason to love this place... and yet, it's worth every penny I've ever spent. It's dark, dingy, smells weird... Yet, the people are kind, tons of pool tables, GREAT WINGS, and the service (especially Jenny) is top notch for a dive bar. Cash only, so prepare. Also, karaoke every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday!!! #sidelinesisamazing
