We ordered take out during the pandemic. The order was made right on time. Pickup took a minute. One phone call and the order was right at the door. We had ordered the 2pc fish and chips and a chicken bowl. Both were delicious and very satisfying. Great job!! We will be back for the ribs! ☺️

Well after leaving kelseys with a very rude and horrible experience we decided to go to Montanas. Let me tell you, we weren’t even in the door 30 seconds and they were already taking our info down for seating. We sat down, had a great waitress, super friendly, polite, happy. Ordered our food and drinks and had an excellent experience. Food was amazing. I definitely recommend the chicken apple pecan salad. For one who enjoys his steaks and ribs, this salad was incredibly flavourful, and filling!! My wife had a rib dinner with same excellent result. We will be choosing this place over the others any day!!

Went here with the family for the first time... we had an awful experience start to finish. We never got our app, never got offered or were delivered water and my 2 year old daughter wasnt even given a plate. Awaited the waitress to check in but after a 20 mins waiting we decided to pay our bill and leave this establishment. First and last visit for us! Common sense is now rare apparently.

Ordered the trio for the 2nd time in 2 visits. First time fantastic. 2nd time not so much. Couldn't cut my chicken breast as it was scorched black on one side and it was dry. Ribs were great. Shrimp was good as well. My husband's plate came out luke warm. When we told our waitress about it she said that there were new cooks in the kitchen and some of them just couldn't cook that well. Well THAT would have been good to know ahead of time..could have saved ourselves $80

Have to take 1 star off because the chef forgot to toss the wings in any wing sauce ( ordered hot ) there online website does not give a option to mention any special requests that would be handy I could have left a note saying I want the wings tossed extra sauce.. I ordered take out. Will be back delicious food. Just don't forget the sauce!! :p

Really good food and lots of out there options. Pretty quiet on the weekdays which is nice, and there’s definitely a fun ambiance. There’s a bar for adults and the space is separated by another seating area so that families have their own area.

Update: Had a lunch there again a few days ago. Good food as usual and much better service than last year (no food dumped on my lap this time!) All in all, a more positive experience. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- June 2018: Food and service is great provided you're lucky enough to get a good server. I wasn't so lucky, so I ended up with burned ribs on my plate that I had to send back, and a bowl of coleslaw dumped on my lap that I had to clean. To make it worse, the server didn't clean the mess she made under my feet, so we were left to do it ourselves. On a positive note, the manager returned with a decent plate of ribs. However, I am not sure that he was informed about the coleslaw incident.

I wasn't going to leave a review but this is the third bad meal that I've received. Food is always burnt, cold or missing items in my order. Tonight, yet again my food is stone cold and I got about 10 fries with my burger and no gravy that I asked for on the side. As for my partner's order, burger is burnt to a crisp, has a single piece of bacon and no sauce?? Super disappointed spending money on this place again.

Always love going to Montana’s. My daughter loves it and gets the same thing every time. My partner loves trying everything and recently discovered he loves the southern skillet. Every Montana’s we go to they are always accommodating to my wheat allergy and make my meals as keto as possible. Always a good experience and go here at least once or twice a month.

Friendly staff and good place to eat and watch the game. However the portions are not worth the price for the meals. When my kids food came out and mine, I felt regret as my meal was twice as much and they seemed to get more than the adults.

I like the friendliness of this restaurant. The servers are always pleasant and really try to accommodate you if something is not to your liking. The portions are large, and I have not ever had a bad meal. If you happen to be a vegetarian, I suggest the Veggie Burger. It is one of the best around.

We used to come all the time last year it was our favourite place to be. But the quality seems to just have gone a little down hill, we figured we would try again. We were sitting in the bar it was rather slow for a Saturday, but we had amazing service. The bartenders were funny and friendly, the food was okay. Closer to the end of our experience a man was standing at the service stand and he had loudly said to a younger girl that “she was full of shit”. It was uncomfortable especially because we were sitting close enough to hear him say that. We came back again as a one last chance on Monday for the wings, Sam was serving us and she was fantastic. But when we were offered donuts for a review we figured we would talk about the good and the bad we’ve experienced here. So it’s very hit or miss, the server staff is the best part about this restaurant. It’s just a shame it’s gone down so far and that someone had spoke to their staff that way.

Absolutely horrible experience. The hostess was by far the most genuine and polite person we encountered during our meal. Bar servers were uninterested in serving a family with small children, they made us feel rushed- and not once did they come by to check on us during our visit. Spinach bread pita was saturated in oil... it was actually dripping off. We ordered 2 medium steaks... one came out medium rare, the other well done. In fact so well done it was tough and inedible. We were told a manager would be over... 15 minutes pass and Matt the manager on duty didnt even have the decency to visit our table. Absolutely a horrible example of a leader - and disgusting food to top it off. We will not be returning

Been here a few times now - for lunch and dinner - and the food was great both times, even for a vegetarian. The cauliflower buffalo "wings" are good, and so is the veggie burger - especially with the sauces provided on the tables.

I am giving two stars only because the waitress was kind and polite. And she has deserved her tip. Great social distancing practices. Otherwise the quality of the food has been gone down. We, two people, had ribs with Cesar salad.(over 20 dollars per portion). The ribs were so, so..not like they used to be. The salad was not fresh. I complained and we got new plates of salad from "newly opened bag". It was the same thing. The leaves were not just not fresh, but some soaked in their own juice. On the end when I was paying the bill, new person (a men, maybe the owner), came and noticed that we didn't eat the salad. He told me that he is going to contact the vendor. Wrong replay. Who cares about his relationship and plans with the vendor? I just wanted to be served with fresh salad. He could suggest different kind of add on or take the charge of the salad from my bill. He even didn't think about that. And I am not the person who ask for discounts. Terrible. I will never visit this location again. I would not recommend this location to my friends. Service was good, food was typical of chains but good. Could have been hotter. They were happy to give me to 10oz steak for the price of the 7oz because they were out of 7s! Ask and you shall receive. Recommend the peach iced tea cocktail!

Overall, rather disappointed with this venue. The restaurant was understaffed resulting the poor table service. The meal was adequately prepared but had no distinctive flavours to set is apart from other venues of this nature and price point. The patio was glorious and the weather was scintillating, so if you just want a glass of wine on the patio, this is your place. I would certainly leave a review if the link below worked for me. I always enjoy this location, the bartender is my Fav! the food was a little lack luster on my last visit as all our meals were over cooked and over charred. Otherwise the food is pretty consistent here. Location is clean and not as dusty as other locations I've been too.

The store tries to make things better for the customers who had bad experiences here. I enjoyed your $50 gift card and I appreciate it. I think the store needs to go through changing some of their staffs because some of them are not doing their job right. Quality of food and customer service is extremely hit and miss and it's unfortunate.

Not a fan of the meal or the service. My husband had the burger which looked like a frozen patty burger, wasn't made to menu description and was super dry. The salad it came with was all brown. Mentioned it to waitress and she brought out another bowl of brown salad. Took about 10min to get cutlery after food arrived. Never came to check on food and when it was time To pay put machine on table and wasn't seen again. Last visit for us.

I've eaten hear in the past, however in the past 2 visits in the fries and onions have been luke warm and moist/soggy (not crispy). Each those visits they did try to accommodate us and the manager did come out to talk to us which is most appreciated. The food flavour was great and the steak was cooked to our liking. Hopefully our next visit won't be a repeat. I do enjoy the great atmosphere here. Thank you to the servers understanding our disappointments and not ignoring us.

Went for Valentine's dinner. The wait to be seated was 20 minutes which was fine since we didn't have a reservation. I had to wave down a server to be served after not being served for 15 minutes. They did apologize for this and comp'd the appy. However, when we were finally served our main course after another 25 minutes it was cold. I don't usually post reviews since the work they do is very hard and thankless. On this occasion I have taken exception.

When you walk in to a half empty restaurant, you don't expect to wait for 15 minutes before you're even seated. Seriously, the wait staff outnumbered the guests, but everything moved at a snail's pace. The food was very mediocre and not worth the value for money. This place tries hard to be a high end steak house, but fails miserably.

We went for a family birthday party. They set up a large table for all of us and we're quick with the drinks and orders. There was an entertainer who made us laugh and gave the kids balloons. The birthday boy got to wear a bull hat when they sang him the birthday song and brought him a free dessert. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious.

A big shout out to Montana's Cambridge. A grade 3 student from St. Margaret Catholic School chose this location to celebrate his First Holy Communion with friends and family. There was a last minute change with the ceremony changing the meal time. Parents called and worked with the manager to make it work and change the time. His family was so pleased and had such an amazing time!

Tried calling and order in for pick up multiple times and it would direct me to the phone menu options again and i could not get though to a live person .. No big deal I went into the restaurant to order and let the greeter know there was an issue with the phone .. Was directed to the bar to place my order .. A gentlemen was entering something on the till i assume .. Told me he'd be right with me ... continued with what he was doing . I got tiered of waiting for service after standing there an addional 5 minutes and decided to take my money elsewhere . If a customer is standing in front of you ... you serve them ... Simple ..... PS not one person sitting at the bar so it was not busy .. disappointed in being treated as an after thought

Service was just ok. Typical service for chain restaurants I suppose in which they do the absolute minimum needed to ensure you enjoy your meal and experience until its time to pay, then they hang out while you work the debit machine being all friendly and folksy. Food was just ok . Typical food for chain restaurants. I ordered the Fajitas and everything was cooked well. Kitchen was super Slow. Restaurant was only half full at 6pm on a Saturday night, could be due to COVID-19, or maybe just not a good restaurant locally. Not being from the area I'm not sure.

1 star turns to 5 star story - kudos. Meal was missing items and had incorrect items on delivery. Received a credit from delivery service but after calling the restaurant, they had a manager personally deliver our missing and incorrect items. Judge not on perfection, but how one works to achieve it.

So my service was fine. Our server was friendly and prompt. He got a 20% tip because it's not his fault the kitchen can't cook and he probably still has to tip them and the hostesses out. But the food my sub par. I got a southwest salad with steak. The steak was cooked to the consistency of a rubber shoe sole. They put the dressing on the salad and it should always come on the side. Also the steak tasted like burger grease. My childrens meals which should have come out as soon as they're ready. Just proper restaurant etiquette. Their food had obviously been sitting waiting for the cook to make sure the cow was really really dead. The onion rings and veggie sides were okay but their quesadillas were cold. The wait staff were patient with my kids and friendly. You need new cooks.

I ordered a steak and asked for mushroom and onions in glaze as a add on. I got a steak smothered in brown gravy. One slice of mushroom. No onion. And it was supposed to come with two onion rings, one was the onion root half battered and both were under the steak. Waitress never even came to check on me. What a disappointment!

Ordered take out and was very disappointed. Ordered burger with few starters. My disappointment on starter cheese nachos, OMG these were were so dry, barely any vegetable topping on this. I could count 4 bites of tomatoes and 5 jalapeños with little cheese.. this is all...what was this?? No sour cream, No salsa served along either. This was waste. Now Burger - this was overloaded with apple sauce which completely ruined the taste- though was hungry but couldn’t eat this because of messed up taste. Sad to see quality service going down hill. Rest of my order was okay. Honest feedback - very disappointed on this takeout order. Credit- Girl who took our order was pleasant and did do hand off food with smile.

Went out for a Friday night dinner with my wife. I tried to order a Rickard's Red but they were out of it so I tried to order a Coors banquet and was told 5 minutes later that the tap was out of service. My wife ordered fish and chips and after a few bites, noticed the middle was rubbery and under cooked. Took almost 10 minutes to get a server to come by so we could tell them. I had already finished eating by then so my wife didn't want to order another meal and wait. At the end, our server told us the manager wanted to only give us half off her meal because "she had ate some". We asked to speak to the manager and she refused to come talk to us but did take the meal off the bill... Once we finally got the bill, we were charged incorrectly for the Coors beer I never received. This was the worst service I ever encountered and a first that a manager would not come to speak to me directly about our poor experience. Do not recommend at all.

Disappointed with my delivery service. Very clear that they would not serve in-house dining customers the poor quality of food they give to take out customers as it would almost certainly be turned back. Many of the anojitos did not even have filling.

The fries were cold, spongy, and overly salted. They were also super stingy with the amount of fries they put in the takeout container! Same with the gravy - the container was only half full. The wings were tough, lacking in sauce and also cold and when I bit into them, the meat was black! The ribs were chewy, kinda dried out and also lacking in sauce. I've had better at 7-Eleven and for only half the price! But the corn bread was good.

In a time like this, you would think companies would do their utmost to try and satisfy their customers. But not this place. They seem to think laughing at customers is better. We order out quite a bit to try and help out other businesses in the community as we know how it feels in these hard times. This meal we ordered from them was wrong, cold and extremely poor in quality. I hate to do a negative comment in these times but you can't be handing out trash and having customers pay full price specially when they are picking up. The meal was so poor, we ended up throwing it in the trash. It is a shame as this was a go to place and has just lost a big family of customers in 1 poor dealing. I guess customers are really not number one for Montana's.

Was just here and I would say I’m definitely not coming back, my steak was under cooked and after repeatedly telling the server that I don’t have time to wait she sent someone else to ask if they can put it back on the grill.. then after I said no she asked if I wanted a to go box.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Why would I come to a restaurant just to get food to go home and cook it? That makes NO sense at all.

Just left this store 5 minutes ago. This was the first time I have ever walked out of a restaurant. The server/bartender that sat us on the patio was friendly, but was never seen again after handing us menus. The manager served food to the table beside us and didn't even look in our direction. We ended up waiting 25 minutes with no drinks or acknowledgement before finally leaving. I even tried going inside to find someone, but I assume everyone was hiding in the kitchen. Not even a bartender at the bar. There were maybe 4 table in the restaurant total so they were not busy. Not cool!

Been here a few times now after moving to Cambridge and have always had a good time. Juliette our server was busy when we got in so the manager Chris helped us out till she was ready. The cornbread was a little old and she got us more once it was out of the oven which we were very appreciative of since it’s our favourite. While be coming back soon.

I found a hair in my food and when I informed about it then they just took it inside Nd took hair off just gave the same food to me as food just came in a minute but it took 10-15 minutes in the beginning when we ordered to prepare the fresh then how a new burger can be made in just a minute. And when we called manager her behaviour was not at all good as she was just trying to save themselves. Also when at the end we didn’t have any tip Cz the service was so slow and the hair thing then managers behaviour we were not at all satisfied with the place and service so the girl who was handling our table and took the bill at the end she when we paid the bill her behaviour was bad too as she answered in a very rude way. It was our first time that we went to Montana’s after this me and my friends will never go there. The worst service. If we are paying for something than I think we deserves a good service and a respectful behaviour which I haven’t seen there. It’s in my opinion just a wastage of money and time if anybody goes to this place. Even I have the picture of hair in my food as a proof.

The food is really good. I attend for lunch on multiple occasions and they don’t have enough staff to get you out in a standard lunch time. Drinks stayed empty. This is only during the lunch hour.

Montana's food never disappoints me or my family but I will say the service I received today from Tyler D was exceptional as we were visiting from out of town. He even came into the parking lot when one of the kids I was with left her warm up jacket in the booth! Saved us some tears later! Ordered fish & chiips took 25 minutes to arrive with only 3 other tables being served The fish was cook so dark almost burnt it just crumbled when I try to cut it and was very greasy. The fries were limp and under cooked. Half of my meal was left. Lost us as a customer.

Decent place to eat. I had a pulled pork sandwich, which was quite nice and the waitress who served my table, served with a smile and was quick with anything we asked for! Will be coming back. *Just a little fun note, they serve there beverage in mason jars. Which I found really added some fun to my dining experience. Something this Montana's at least, seems to put a lot of focus on.* Overall: Had a good meal and the wait staff was lovely, making plans to go back in the future for an upcoming birthday :) 4/5

Overall a good experience. We were greeted and seated right away and our server was friendly. The food was good (we had salads). Our pita breads for the artichoke dip were extremely oily however and we used our napkins to pat them down. Our son enjoyed his food as well which hardly ever happens. ????

I understand it is covid, but the way this restaurant operates during the lockdown is terrible. I have ordered both pick up and delivery and there have been problems each time. They NEVER answer their phone. They offer curbside pick up but what they really mean is stand in the freezing cold for 40 mins to wait for your food. They do not ask who is here for pick up, and are incredibly rude. The least they could do is have people wait in their cars and call them to come to the door when its ready.

Lettuce and chicken wraps were good. 3 cheese and spinach starter was awful. Spinach was dried out and 3 cheese ...was lumps of uncooked cubes. Ceasar salad looked and tasted old. Waitress gave replacements.....still from same kitchen staff. Would have preferred a refund.

First day of reopening after Ontario lockdown. Service was exceptional. Easy contact tracing by using mobile camera phone and one question to answer. Service was quick and correct as ordered. Portion size was quite good. Nice to sit out in the open air and have a drink.

Worst time ever. No cutlery had to ask for it as well for napkins. Ordered a pop it came in a dirty glass, missing my shrimp with my steak waited for them to bring it out, boyfriends potatoes were cold, manager was extremely rude and commented that he called that. Not gonna return.. .
