RUDE AND LIARS Well wish I had something nice to say about this place. We had been told since new management they have improved and had great service and great food. So prior to heading to Kelseys, we called just to confirm we did not need a reservation. We were told no. We get there and after waiting around 10 min before being acknowledged we were there, we were asked if we had reservations. So after about another 10 minutes of them trying to sort out a table for us they finally think they can squeeze us in to a table even though we were told we DIDNT need reservations. We opted to sitting outside as it was nice out. We follow the waitress out who does not hold the door for my wife as she walks out, I ran after the door to hold it open for her. We sit down, she throws us the menus and we say thanks and she responds with “yup”. RUDE, impatient, and felt like we were a burden to them in their restaurant. We sat down looked at the menu and with my blood boiling, we walked out and went to Montana’s where we had an incredible experience with much better food and stuff. Check out my review on Montana’s!

It is not often that staff go out of their way to make you feel so accommodated and like they genuinely want you to enjoy your experience. I did not get a chance to grab the names of either of the lovely women that served us, but thank you. We will certainly be back!

Food was great, and my previous review stated how I did enjoy the customer service here. However, this new low rating is because I was double charged for my order, and the best the manager of the restaurant could do is offer cash at the restaurant, although i paid with debit and after I stated that I live over 2 hours away. As a large corporation, I don’t think that was an acceptable resolution. I’ve continued to email and never received a response. Smh.

My veggies were mush, the steak was not cooked to my liking, and there was no flavor. The dessert looked nothing like the picture, and my server was nice but high as a kite. I won't be returning.

I love the Sonoma valley salad. It is always amazing but the chef today did a phenomenal job. I was very impressed. Filling and delicious. The server was a delight and easy going. Friendly and fast service. She helped me find a quiet tucked away seat to work at while I ate. Excellent experience today. Thank you!

We decided to order dinner tonight. Went to the Kelseys in Cambridge on hespeller. Had the basalmic chicken x3 like we usually do. I don’t know what has happened here but it was not edible. The chicken in all three dinners was burnt black. The smell of burnt food was disgusting. Something that burnt should not have left the kitchen. We had to throw the chicken in the trash. The broccoli soup was fridge cold. Was not a cheap takeout dinner. What a waste of money!!

We waited for over an hour after being seated and all we ordered was appetizers hoping it would be quicker as we had our 1 year old son with us. It was super busy because of family day, so initially we were seated in a booth at the bar with a booster seat with absolutely no safety hardware...we had to request another table as it was unsafe for our son. We watched 3 tables who were seated after us receive their full entrees as we waited for our APPETIZERS...we just left hungry with our baby who is now way past his bedtime eating dinner I had to make when we got home which took even more time. Was planning on a nice family date night and ended up with chaos with a 1 year old in a busy restaurant and nothing but stress.

I come with my girls fairly often and we get the massive nachos. Today I went with my brother and my burger was burnt. First time with a problem. My waiter was so sweet, got me a new burger and some extra fries. And apologized profusely. Had him several times, great great service.

Awesome! BH and I met his mom and her husband for Mother's Day lunch celebration. Mom loves the soup and salad combo (Tomato-Red Pepper soup is her favorite), hubby had nachos and BH and I had terrific salads with chicken. Service was excellent! Washrooms (the only true measure of an establishments cleanliness) were well maintained and the urinals looking like modified kegs were a fun touch. Eat here when you come to Midland.

We picked Kelseys because we received a giftcard for Xmas, but will most definitely return because of the amazing service! The food was good and the drinks were delicious, but the excellent ninja service provided by Heidi and her co-workers made the evening a much better experience than just your average meal out! We'll be back as long as Heidi is working!

10/14/19 had dinner here, worst service we've ever had at a Kelsey's. Our server was Kate, usually when your menus are closed it signifies that you are ready to order, we knew what we wanted before she asked what we wanted to drink, asked what our drink order was and before we could say anything else she was gone. Took 10 minutes just to get our drinks. A different server brought out our food and the only other time we saw Kate was when she came over right after the food was brought out and asked if everything was brought out ok. Never once asked us for refills on our drinks or how our meal was. I had chicken fajitas, and usually on the hot plate you have the chicken, sauteed onions and peppers and some places even give sauteed mushrooms, mine however was all onions. I would have complained to our server about it but as I said she never returned to our table.... WORST Kelsey's ever!!!!!

This was an awful experience from the moment we came in up until now, an hour and 10 minutes while still waiting for all the meals. 1. Came in and asked for a table of 6. Told it would be 30 minutes. Started calling other places for this birthday dinner and they did end up offering a table within 5 minutes (thankfully because we could see multiple tables open). 2. No one came to our table for 20 minutes. 20 minutes! The only reason someone came was because we called a manager. No apologizes just a "I'll grab your drinks." 3. No word of a lie, 15 minutes later someone came with our drinks. We had written our order out on paper to save time since it was taking so long. No apologies or anything. Everyone just acting normal like it's a slow Monday night (Saturday evening). 4. No discussion at all while we wait for our food. No offer for drink refills unless we called someone to get it for us. 5. 5 out of the 6 meals come 35 minutes later. After 3 tables who got here after us, got theirs. 6. No one came to update us what was happening with the missing meal. Multiple servers walked by and could visibly (sorry, that's an assumption that they were vision able....) that one person was missing food. We called one person over and asked about the meal. They went and checked (we assume) but never came back to tell us an update. What is happening? 7. Everyone if finished eating. Other than the one who never got their meal that is... 8. Also, no one came to check in to find out that one of the burgers was completely burnt (crispy black and no meat left) no one came to see how it tasted. No one came to see if we needed refills. Not one of the 8 servers and 2 managers walking around.... 9. Oh great, the last person has their meal. Everyone else waits with empty drinks and their plates in front of them while the one eats. Also no one checks in how it taste. 10. Well we've been here for an hour and 40 minutes, still waiting on everyone to finish eating and already at 10 complaints. 11. Ready to leave. Offered coffee or tea in an uneasy tone (Thinks to self *well theres a birthday here and everyone wanted dessert but the night is already ruined so may as well go to dairy queen*). Responds "no thanks. Bill please." 12. Says to family "we will never come to Kelseys again." 13. Bartender (who probably wasn't even our server) did do the best he could on top of the entire bar and was polite with interactions, offered the kid a dessert even though they didnt get a kids meal, and gave them a free refill on a drink that wasnt free refills. Hes why there is 1 star and not 0....also the person who had their meal last, said the chicken was good. Kelsey's slid from from number one in my list to completely off my list. That's unfortunate. I'll get the chicken sandwich anywhere else instead...

Just had the worst experience at this location. My husband myself and our 2 kids just went to celebrate our anniversary and the food was awful. The "tacos" on the kids menu? Fyi it's a burger cut up and mixed with tomato sauce, if that wasn't bad enough everything was cold and stale. We did complain and they took the tacos off the bill which was appreciated but honestly nothing else was warm or worth the money either. We will definitely not be back. Be warned nothing on that menu is worth the high price tag.

The bar area is great for watching sports. They have all the sports channels but do not have the MLB package. The bar area has a great atmosphere to hang out. They have strong WiFi. When I was here they had burger specials with some creative burgers. The one I ordered was great, although smaller than I expected.

We had an amazing dinner here. The staff was so polite and pleasant. From the moment we walked in they greeted us with smiles and friendliness. The restaurant was clean, washrooms were clean and the food was fantastic. Everything about our experience was beyond our expectations. I would come again and recommend it to anyone. Waited 40 mins for a small appie, the Buffalo potato skins were overly spiced, undercooked and tasted like hot playdoh. The steak was undercooked, tasted like raw fish stank, and the poutine / veggies had the weirdest tingey taste.. I think the root cause here is overly used oils and bad cleanliness. The staff were also blatantly talking smack about other customers right near us.. Seems decency and dignity in this place does not exist at all.

Recommended: This place, albeit new, has brought their A game. I was impressed with the friendly and patient staff. We had the owner walk by and if everything was to our liking. The decor is a cozy rustic vibe that is fun and inviting. They had kids menus. They were extremely patient with my complicated order regarding eating restrictions for my health. This AND the food was delicious and well cooked. My son loved his fries and mac n cheese. My husband loved his fish and chips, and I loved my meager salad and ate every last bit that I could eat, scraping my plate even. Kelsey's, you're doing it right.

Disappointing - A group of us thought we would give it a try, being that it is the newest location in Cambridge. Having frequented most of their competition they came in last. First half the group arrived before the other half, and we were told it would be about a 30 minute wait - Not only was it more than 30 minutes but when they offer you to go wait at the bar and then completely forget about you - The 30 minute wait turned into almost an hour. The food / menu - Nothing spectacular - Same style food as the competition which can be acceptable, however the quality was sub par for the price. Please don't misconstrued what I'm saying, I manage my expectations for places like this, however the portions were smaller than expected, and the food lack flavor. Likely won't return, as the Chuck's Roadhouse across the street offers better value, better service, and better quality food.

My wife and I were neither impressed or disappointed. Food came out at good temperature. Not much flavour. Service ok. I'm not trying to slag the place .... but there are spots making really good food. Like my wings were ok, but the basket had all the burnt bits from the bottom of the entire fryer at the bottom, hidden by the sauce. Like I could be good...but everything just ends up meh. Her is my recommendation- if you want to go somewhere to talk, where you won't want to stop to share bites of delicious food, or have an engaging conversation w wait staff - but you just want safe to eat food in reasonable time. Go here.

Made a reservation, arrived 10 mins early, only to be told upon arrival that they had put someone else at our table. The manager then seemed snappy with US for some reason. The 6 of us were then crammed into a 4 person booth. The service was very slow and both me and my wife's meal tasted sub par. Most likely won't eat at a kelseys restaurant again as this is not the first bad experience have had here.

On Valentine’s Day we decided to order in. I placed the order and chose a time for later in the evening. When I arrived to pick up my order they apologized and informed me that they were running behind. I ended up waiting about 30 minutes for me meal. When they brought it out they were very apologetic. The first thing my family said when I got home, wow! That took a long time. What happened? Did they give you dessert to make up for it? I said I’m not sure, but no they didn’t. In a normal world they probably would have but right now they probably can’t afford too. I’m sure every dollar is needed to keep them afloat right now. To our surprise we received a call from the Manager a few days later. He apologized and offered us a gift certificate. The apology was enough, we get it! But we are also thankful as we are a family of four and eating out is expensive. 30 minutes is a long time to wait, but I beg all the people complaining to stop and think about this. We are all doing our best to deal with the current situation. None of us are perfect, we are all struggling to some degree. Please find patience and understanding for the difficult times.

I never write reviews, and basically eat anything without complaint. That said I could barely eat this food it was so bad. In fact I didn't even eat it. The person I was with seemed to think the service was alright but I didn’t really. Mediocre maybe, but No one really seemed to want to be there. Anyways we did both agree the food and drinks were almost inedible / undrinkable. What a waste of money.

The food was very tasty and didn't take long after we ordered our food. our server name was Britney im pretty sure.we had a table of 10 after 9 of us payed for our food the debit machine stopped working for someones card three other people tried using there cards and it wouldn't work what so ever, I said to Britney I was sorry and I was gonna keep trying and she kept ignoring what I was saying and giving me a very dirty look. after 20. minutes of trying to pay with multiple different card she came up to us and gavels a lot of attitude and said "its fine we have it covered since you guys aren't giving me a tip anyways" which. is very rude to say especially in the tone she gave us, I than asked if she was sure and again gave us a really rude tone and attitude. and said ya N than walked away the it wasn't our faults the machine wasn't working. in conclusion the food was great. every other working was nice but Britney wasn't.

Ordered curb side yesterday and after arriving and letting them know we arrived. We never received another text which it said we would when the food was ready. Ended up waiting 20 minutes after the food was supposed to be ready and then just going inside to grab the food without even knowing it was available... very unprofessional and will not order curb side again

The atmosphere is better since the renovation. The bar area is more open. The staff is nice but my guest is vegan and gluten-free and when she asked a question we waited a long time and he came back without an answer and had to go back. This lead to a long wait before we ordered. Her order, with very limited options for her meal, came without the guacomoli she requested and she was not impressed. My son also got the vegan burger and said it was the same as Harvey's. You expect more for high-end place. My order of garlic bread was so spicy I had to return it. It had a lot of cheese (which I like) but came out greasy. (No extra napkins given) I would like it thicker and more crunchy. I was not impressed with the new Bisquick side to my broccoli soup. It was dry and no butter provided. My guest were wondering why the put the fries in paper bowls? Extra packaging?

The food was amazing, my server went over the top. Nothing but great things to say about Kelsey's midland. I had a blue rare which was cooked perfectly (thanks for that). You can really tell in the food and servers that everyone loves there job there. Thanks be back soon!

My low rating is base purely on the order of food that I had. the establish itself was nice I only take out during the pandemic and I was working out of town and staying in a hotel so it was convenient I just did curbside pick up on an order of wings that I ordered over the phone 10 to 15 minutes before. It was just wings and a couple celery and carrot sticks and blue cheese but so it wasn't like I had a four course meal but the wings were terrible I ordered them over the phone like I said 10 or 15 minutes beforehand there were tiny and dried out like if they were torn off one of those roasted chickens have been sitting in a grocery store for seven hours I used to work in restaurants and I can pretty much guarantee that these wings were refried or cooked several hours before or something in batches considering I paid something like $23 after tip for 10 dried up little bones it really was bad.

Excellent service every time I've been in. Jeff (bartender?) greets me like an old friend (considering I've only been in 4 times!) and it's a wonderful feeling. The food has been fantastic, and people look like they actually are enjoying being there. We placed an order online and there were some hiccups with the system ... there ended up being a delay when we arrived BUT the manager (Jesse) was incredible and very helpful regarding the situation. I was not looking for any handouts - did not even press him on the matter but he was more than eager to make sure that I was happy as to not leave with a bad experience. The food was great once we got home and we will definitely be going back. Restaurant chains are risky to begin with but with people like Jesse managing things, it makes for a great experience.

Was there Monday night with the family. Amazing and friendly staff, smiles at the door right as we walked in. Service was what we expected and the food was great. Long story short my brother has more than a few allergies and the manager came right to our table after we let our server know just to discuss some options with us. He even walked the meal directly to the table for him. Hard to find restaurants where he can comfortably eat so we are extremely happy there were no issues(no worries we have an epipen just incase). I've eaten at this location numerous times and I've never been disappointed with the food. I usually go for their burgers and sandwiches, which hits the spot, but occasionally I'll get their steak which is also decent. Their fish and chips are always looks impressive as well. Kelseys recently changed their look with this white themed decor, which I'm not sure I like, but is not a big deal. Service is usually prompt, although when it gets busy at dinner rush you might wait a bit. If you've eaten at Kelseys before and enjoyed it, you won't be disappointed with this location.

Edited AGAIN - tried the patio and ended up leaving. Waited 15min for someone to come and serve us and no one did. The other server was I guess working her side?! Go to Guelph. Period. Edited post - the Management team responded and cleared up the issue. We tried them again and we were pleased. Food was great - take out was quick and even apologized again for the last time. We will order from them again. We keep trying the Cambridge Kelseys but are disappointed every time. Whether it be they skip people waiting for tables, or the food is super slow, to the take out being crazy behind we are done “trying”.

The entire experience was delicious from our appies to our dessert and our Server, Cody! The menu is extensive but not overwhelming, a few dishes each from the main selection of Sandwiches, Salads, Pastas, Red Meat, Chicken and Fish. The Dessert menu is a little shy but does offer Funnel Cake Fries with ice cream and dipping sweetness. The latest renovation is very appealing, open concept and brighter!

This used to be some kind of an average pub, but then they tore the place up, and turned it into a Kelsey's... Looks pretty good inside... I went in around 2 pm on a Thursday. The service was quick, but the food was mediocre. I ordered a salad with chicken, but replaced the meat with salmon. That ended up costing me 21 bucks. That would be OK (except I can get the same combo at a Boston Pizza down the road much cheaper), but the salad was mostly WHITE lettuce, the type that nobody wants to eat... The salmon was HARD, and tasted as if it spent the last 2 weeks in a freezer at a -100C temperature. An 8 oz glass of Cab Sav was over 10 bucks. I told the server this was my first and last visit to the 'establishment'.

Ate here about 4 weeks ago, they served me a previously frozen burger which is fine. It came to me bloody and pink inside. I was half way through before I realized, the best part is they only took the burger off my bill and charged me an order of gravy that I asked for but never got..... the excuse was we are newly staffed.... Great experience at this location. Our server was Sheymar and he was friendly and very accommodating to our dietary needs. He checked in on us to ensure everything was good but without being overbearing. I ordered the Messy Fish sandwich, and it was delicious. No heavy battered coating. Also ordered ribs and wings, which were a hit. Kids menu items were well portioned and tasty. Will visit again.

went for dinner last night with my wife. at first we were worried because our server didn't touch base and we waited for almost 5 minutes. i noticed our server was busy but did make eye contact. our server his name was Cody. my wife had the chicken club - the bacon was off. Cody told us they had a few complaints about it throughout the day. no biggie. food came out fast. Cody made amends and was remarkable. manager did not do 1 table check when we were there. we will be back though. Cody hustled his butt off and made our experience fantastic. thank you Cody.

I have never been fan of Kelsey’s, I find most of the food to be rather bland and not really have anything beyond a few staples. For me personally, I would only recommend the fajitas. I would not recommend the steaks or the butter chicken. I will however recommend the staff. They are wonderful and the whole town shows up here and I certainly believe they are coming for the atmosphere of the staff. And it is for that reason, I grant two stars.

Came here for lunch with a friend. Our burgers were served remarkably fast, hot, and delicious. Servers have all been attentive and friendly. The lunch crowd was pretty sparse which kept the place quite comfortable for having a conversation. As a sports bar be warned on game night, however. The place is packed, noisy, with waits over an hour for seating - probably fun for cheering on your team but not family friendly anymore.

Anything fried seems to always be overcooked. My spinach dip pitas were rock hard...not edible...and i had ordered it for take out so didnt know this till I was home. When i went there last night again spinach dip pitas were overcooked...only a few were edible...even after i had told them to lightly fry them bc they have been hard every other time, wings were hard... and overcooked. Really disappointed the 3 times ive been although its clean, service is good and u can see a tv from anywhere u sit which is decent...but in the end a restaurant is about the food mostly and i wouldnt choose to go there again.

Never judge a book by its cover!!! We went for a quick dinner and ended up being there for almost 2 hours. The service was great and the food was the best I have had at a Kelley's. At first it seemed slow but we had just arrived after they hosted a Terry Fox fundraiser and they had one host, one bartender and two servers left to run the front end of the restaurant. Yes the service was slower than usual but after finding out how many staff was actually running the front end, I was amazed at how well they handled it. I can't wait til we go back when they have full staff.

Burgers are good, steaks only come in rare no matter what you ordered. Wings tasted good but were very small for the price tag on them. Service was pretty good. Not sure if I'd go back, but if I did, I'd stick to the burgers as it seem like the only item they could get consistently correct and the prices were good on them. $9 for kids meals also seemed a bit on the steep side.

I used to be a huge fan of Kelsey's and thought I would give them a chance to redeem themselves seeing as a new location opened in Cambridge... but after tonight I'm sad to say I need to review this with a 1 star. The waitress we had was really nice but also didn't seem familiar with the menu we had to point to the items we wanted. We started by ordering two of the budweiser beers on sale for Sunday however, were charged full price for them (which was the cherry on top of a bad experience). The biggest let down was that the food was terrible. I ordered the Bacon Bourbon BBQ Burger with fries and gravy on the side. What I received wasn't even a combination of ingredients for burgers on the menu. I got a burger with the two pickles, two patties absolutely coated in black pepper, bbq sauce, mayo, tomato and lettuce and peameal bacon. I am not a fan of peameal bacon so this automatically stood out to me because I thought the menu said double smoked bacon. The only reason I ate the burger was because I thought maybe i had ordered the wrong burger... until i got home and saw the menu online and realized the burger was even missing the onion strings and should not have come with peameal bacon. Apart from not getting what I ordered (which isn't then end of the world) the burger i got actually did not taste like anything except for black pepper. I decided to give up on the burger and stick to my side... but sadly the fries I got were flavorless, dry and unappetizing and the gravy just tasted like ground beef fat mixed with black pepper and flour. I didn't even eat half of my meal which upset me because I hate wasting food. My partner ordered the Nashville Hot chicken burger with fries. His fries were also extremely bland and dry. His burger grossed him out to the point where he lost his appetite. The two pieces of chicken were clearly not breast meat.. we pulled the meat apart to find dark greasy meat, as well as veins.. the chicken tasted like the cheapest cut of meat was pulled from a freezer, reheated and thrown on a bun. Sadly only the pickles on the burger were decent. Both of us left after paying a pretty big penny for two half eaten meals and will sadly not be coming back again.

Just ordered chicken tenders and a poutine from kelseys through skip. We have only dined in before and had good experiences but unfortunately this time was very different! I opened up the box with the chicken and down underneath one of the wings and mixed into the sauce was a medium length hair. I cut around it and ate them and I get that accidents happen but then I came to the poutine, the fries were so raw I couldn’t even eat them. So I ended up paying almost 40$ for chicken tenders and a poutine that was not even really edible. It’s likely going to be my last time ordering anything from them which is unfortunate because their wing sauce is good. Not worth another experience like this one though.

This place is always on point with everything. The staff is super friendly, restaurant and washrooms are always clean. I am very picky with my food and Heidi always makes sure everybody is taken care of. If you need something cooked a certain why or need to add or take something away they do it with a smile and don’t give a hard time or screw up the food. Went back again today for half price wings. Received appetizers after waiting 30 minutes and never put our food order through until we were done them. Drinks were never served as the waitress "forgot". I received 5 less wings than what I ordered and I was only approached once to see how things were and that was from the nice hostess NOT THE WAITRESS! Get your act together Kelseys because this is the worst location I've ever been too! I returned after giving you the benefit of the doubt and it's really disappointing, I wont be returning.

Food was fine and staff was efficient! The only downside was the fact that you use non-recyclable paper trays for fries that just sit on the plate anyway. Kind of defeats the purpose of having paper straws when you also have unnecessary waste on every plate.

Kelseys Roadhouse offers a good menue choice, very good friendly and competent service, a resonably good beer selection and very reasonably priced wine list. Steaks, pastas and their new burger selection are all worth the trip to Kelseys. Ample free parking although access to the location is awkward.

The food was frozen food, generic chain meals. The wait staff was not very tentative, forgetting cutlery and water top ups. the menu was not at all clear what type of meat was in the burger, "Chuck" Did not say 100% beef, and when I finished my meal, my stomach felt as if there was pork added in. Should be much more specific with meat, even in a small town people have dietary restrictions. Went to spend the gift card and will not return to another Kelsey's, on my way back across the country.

This place was good! In Midland as an old woman age 53, I have been refused service at empty restaurants. Service staff have also forcefully insisted to use "Elderspeak" on me (Elderspeak = Babytalk/Babynames for old people) (This happens of course to other people, in other places as well but for me Midland has been the most challenging!) So when my car was damaged on the Highway and I had to eat in Midland; I was concerned. At the Kelsey's in Midland, I asked the host and the waitstaff not to use the Babynames/Babytalk... and they actually tried... I did get one simple "here we are dear" at the end but the person gave a kind apology!! They did seat and serve me like anyone else and tried their best consciously to talk to me like an equal person rather than like Plankton!! So this place gets 4 stars for great food and for doing their absolute conscious best not to discriminate!! I remember when people criticized Caitlyn Jenner - that her presence in public life would encourage other old women to be seen in public in spite of how we look. All I can say to that is YES... you go Girl!! You look great!! You had to wait so many years to join our team and you ROCK!!

I phoned the restaurant to make a reservation for 6 on the patio for my mother's birthday a week and a half prior to the date. We arrived only to find that there was no reservation noted and were told that the patio was booked and we could only have an inside table. I specifically wanted the patio and we ended up being stuck at the back of the restaurant beside the bathrooms. We were not offered any type of discount on our bill, or coupons for another visit. The staff was friendly and the food was good, but this is the 2nd time going there having issues with their service. The other time was November 2019 when we had a large group and waited 45 mins to get our food because we were forgotten about! Another visit may not ever happen - which is a shame.

Service was extremely slow, we ordered a drink which got spilt while waiting for our food and was were all finished eating when the new one came. I visited the Kelseys Cambridge location on Sunday. The food tasted good and was delivered in a timely manner, hot and fresh. Our server was attentive and checked in .. maybe a little too many times, but all good. My only complaints were they had no kids menus left and the hostess said they would have to photocopy one us, but that never came and our server just ended up telling us what was on the kids menu. Also, I ordered the ribs with honey garlic sauce and they were out of that as well. Disappointing. Other than that the appetizer salt and vinny shrimps were very tasty and for dessert the white chocolate cheesecake is everything!!! Wish I could have had 2 slices.

I was at Kelsey’s Saturday night. It was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. I order the top sirloin steak medium. It came very rare. I sent it back. The next time it came out it was even more rare. They did offer to make me something else but by this time my family had finished eating and it was time to leave. I did not have a meal. I will really think twice before going to Kelsey’s again. Our waitress tried her best.

Kelsey's is always a great time! Alison C aka Ali was awesome. It was very busy we got to chat and have some drinks with our group. We were not in hurry, Ali kept apologizing for the delay, but we didn't notice, we were having fun. I appreciate she was keeping track. Next time we visit we will be back. Too Many Hidden Fees/ Up charge on dinner specials! Valentine's day dinner special price is deceiving. A $50 dinner for two special totalled $71 plus tip and we don't drink alcohol. When questioned about the extra charges, I was told there was an up charge even though it's on their Valentine's special menu. It would have been better to select our meals from the regular menu. I really didn't want to give a tip but I did because the situation had nothing to do with the waitress. I confess I gave her minimal tip which is unlike me. Would not recommend music too loud, price deception and service was questionable.

Our experiences at the Cambridge location remain top notch. Very personable staff and management, who over the visits have built a great relationship with. We've recently held a work Christmas dinner and all meals were spot on and staff handled our large group of 20 exceptionally well. We look forward to further gatherings here and family trips out! Nicely renovated. Very slow and obviously disorganized service - waited an hour and all they could get us was an app and a drink. Ended up having to take our food to go. The food was decent. They offered some coupon but I don’t plan on returning. I suggest they use bus staff to clear tables, get all those drinks in one spot, and try getting the food out reasonably timed or at least tell the table if the wait is going to be long. We all know it’s Friday - the restaurant should be prepared or communicative.

I had Cody as our server for my birthday dinner at the Midland Ontario location. Cody was exemplary in customer service and satisfaction. As a amateur food critic and blogger it’s my estimation that he is a prime candidate to move up in the ranks. HOWEVER , new manager Sarah ( previous front of house) is just NOT utilizing the skills and knowledge critical to her new role. Appetizers listed no longer available but the worst mistake made was to have her server relay to me that opting out of the sides in favour of having my chicken sandwich al a carte would still result in a cost of 3.50 or so equal to the cost of the sides despite not wanting them. Really? This is not at all good customer service provision. . We ordered 2 meals / drinks / coffee and dessert and refusal to deduct the cost of the sides would have been zero cost to Kelsey,s. Instead a very poor feeling was left with me. I will hesitate to return given the lack of interest or care towards the customer all over 3.50. Attention to detail in the kitchen is also an issue. The churros / n ice cream were far too greasy and overdone and came with not a scoop but a tablespoon of ice cream. If the kitchen manager is lacking, it trickles down to all other staff. Cody was the only good part of what should have been a positive birthday dinner. Head office will be notified.

Paid almost 100 bucks for cold / stale food. Ordered salmon with side of rice and veggies. Rice were literally stale and cold. 2nd dish was sirloin steak which was very poorly done , I asked for medium well but it was extra well done. Appetizer was spinach artichoke dip and it was the worst of all , they served it with triangular cut pieces of pita bread. Would definitely not recommend anyone to visit this outlet.

Tried to have a nice Sunday dinner out with the family. After an hour of waiting I asked the server for an ETA on our food as I had 2 kids with us under 10 who were starving. She avoided our table and never came back with the ETA on our food. Finally my husband flagged her down and told her to bring the bill for the beers & kids drinks and to cancel our dinner order because we were leaving. When she returned with our drink bill she did say “this service is not our best” but offered nothing else to keep us there or to come back. We will NOT return to this location. It was very nice to see people following protocols in the "new normal". We had a lunch in the restaurant yesterday for my birthday, and it was our first dining experience inside since phase 3 started. Everything looked good, our server was really good an our food was amazing.

Overall just an ok experience. Ordered the steak it was what I expected from an establishment such as this. It could use a little salt to go with the pepper to possibly bring out the flavor. Service was somewhat attentive I sat at the bar, staff was friendly.

Went with the family to eat which we waited a hour we start talking amongst ourselves it was taking long but that was it . Manger came out and apologized that the food was taking so long that it was a new waitress in training and it didn't go through to the kitchen and that it was being plated .which our app came out no problem . Which was fine then our food came maybe another 20 mins or more . Our two rib meals were cold and burnt to a crisp and no sauce at all . My daughter order a quesadilla which the chicken was burnt but she was so hungry she ate it and my son got chicken strips and fries which was cold and half burnt. One of the strips was just batter no chicken . If I could give it a zero ???? I would cause they only care for the skip the dishes and nothing with the restaurant at all . I'm writing this so people don't waste their time or money on this place this isn't the first time we've had bad food and nothing against the waitress she was awsome

I tried to get a reservation for 630pm, at around 2pm. Was told that they aren't accepting reservations for the weekend, but I could just come anyway as there won't be much of a wait. Doesn't make sense not to honour a reservation if it won't be that busy no? Made reservations at Sunrise with no issues. I won't bother trying in Cambridge again thanks.

We've been to other locations in the past and enjoyed it so thought we'd try this location. Unfortunately we were not impressed, beverages stayed emptied. I think we got one refill. The food took a very long time to be serve. Total time there was about 2.5hrs. Think some staff my have been newer. But my amazeball burger was great.

Supposedly company policy only 1 menu per table. This creates lots of problems when there are 6 people and took 10 to 15 mins mabe longer to select what we all wanted. When the food came it was below standard of othe Kelsey restaurants so will not bother to come again. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL.

Got the buffalo cauliflower bites and 2 orders of ribs. Cauliflower was good but not very crispy. Ribs were cold and was not a fan of the sauce. Only thing good was the side Ceasar Salad. Might go there again when i dine in is available. But, will not do take out again

The server was fantastic, very friendly! I had a pick up order and it was ready RIGHT when they said it would be. Problem: I paid almost $18 + a tip, for 3 cheese spinach dip and pita bites, and received literally no more than 3tbsp of dip. Was not happy at all. I want to support local, because I know that it's been very difficult for this industry. But 3tbsp and pita for $18+?? Do better Kelsey's. Wasn't happy.

From the moment we walked in to Kelsey's the staff member at the front was lovely to deal with! My husband and our two daughters went to dine in on Tuesday night and it wasn't too busy. The restaurant looked clean, had a great atmosphere, our server was great and our food was quick and AMAZING. As we are not from around the area we received plenty of information and help from Mckenna. She was great with our kids and was very informative about the menu to comfort my daughters gluten allergy. We will be back soon!

I took my parents out for what was supposed to be a lovely dinner, unfortunately that was not the case. My parents told me about this place and how they love coming here. But today I think Kelsey's drop the ball. To start off it took us 20 minutes just to get a drink order. Then when we finally got our drinks we ordered appetizers after another 15 minutes they came. But with no plates or Cutlery, after another 15 minutes we finally received plates and Cutlery. Though 2 out of 4 plates we're clearly not washed. Furthermore we waited another 20 just for food. And received our food at the same time as another table who arrived 15 minutes after we had even arrived.... I ordered the crispy chicken which should be called burnt to a crisp chicken and my mother received a chicken sandwich with a freezing cold chicken and a stale falling apart bun... when my mom asked for a new one the waitress left the food in front of my mother not bothering to take it back to the kitchen and by the time we all finished eating and waited another ten minutes my mother finally received her meal... and if you would compare this new burger to what she had night and day, her first had completely burnt onions and bacon this one look like Gordon Ramsay made it.... to top it all off we were never offered dessert, never offered refilled on our drinks... the whole night felt as if we were forgotten about, as if they completely misplaced our order and forgot that they were people out there paying to be there... it takes a lot to get me to come on places like this and complain, all I got to say is Step It Up....

My family and I went in for lunch today (Nov16), I have to say this was the worst experience we have had at a restaurant. The service was horrible. First we ordered a spinach dip to start, the server brought it to the table and spilled some of the pitas on the table. The server said she would be back with more pitas, that never happened. Our food came to the table cold. I sent my pasta back because of how cold it was, the server left the table shaking her head at me. My boyfriend’s food was also cold but after the way she reacted he didn’t want to complain. Our salad never came out. We asked for our bill and a take out container for my daughter’s meal, she again left the table shaking her head at us. The bill came with items on it we never received, told the server “oh great” she says. Walks away again shaking her head at us. I have never had this kind of service in my life. It’s safe to say we won’t be returning to this establishment ever again! If there was a zero rating I would have given it that!

Terrible..I have visited this location twice. First with kids, then a business dinner meeting....ordered the indian chicken meal with rice and naan.. chicken cutlet was burnt , asked for another..came back burnt again..the sauce that they put on the chicken is gross..on my 2nd visit.. At the business meeting my guest ordered the chicken burger with mashed potatoes...again with the chicken being burned and dry...the mashed potatoes looked sloppy and unappealing. I felt bad for my dinner guest and embarrassed as I was the one who suggested this place to my out of town guests...I ordered the grilled chicken ceasar...it was ok..easy enough to make.. .the waitstaff is nice and try their best..I will NOT be going there again

Was there Thursday at approximately 5:30 pm. Not impressed with my first visit! Waited 45 minutes for our food and they had forgot my fries.server was very apologetic and very busy. The kitchen was very behind as other tables were complaining about the long wait time. Half price wings were over cooked! On a positive note my friends had the burgers and said that they were very good. Will visit again possibly in the future and hopefully the experience will be positive!
