Picture an emerald country golf course, nestled amongst mature trees, with adequate water and a Course Superintendent and Pro who actually CARE about the experience of the municipal golfer. That's EXACTLY what you get at this perfectly maintained tract just outside of Galt. Played here today for the first time and was very impressed with how well maintained the course is. Greens cut with a perfect surface to hold your ball, tee blocks crisp and firm, and rough thats deep but playable...all come together in creating the perfect challenge. If you've never played, it's worth the 4 hours. And if you have, drop in and enjoy a refresher. You'll be glad you did!

One of the best rounds I've played. Some nice low risk par 5's, managed a couple attempts at eagle. The fairways are immaculate and gave me a few opportunities to pull out the dreaded and rarely used 3 wood. Great course, can't wait to play again.

The touch free ball returns on the holes are brutal, rusty old contraptions. You pay top dollar for garbage like that? Needs to be better. The course itself is well maintained. With average T boxes.

Fantastic course!! Played it for the first time this year and it was in great shape. Its long and challenging, lots of room to hit the long ball and great holes that will require accurate irons. The staff is super nice. The only funny part is that the range runs parallel to 10th hole so heads up as there are a lot of stray range balls on the right of the fairway. This course is now in my top 10 for sure.

Great course condition, practice facilities are awesome. Huge greens, 9th hole was the hardest hole for me. Overall i found one of greatest course around my place less than 30 min driving from ancaster.

What a gem. These greens are NASTY fast. Well maintained, no dead spots, bunkers are full. Not the most challenging course, no real doglegs that force club decisions, water hazards are really easy to avoid. For price and level of maintenance, it's hard to not want to come back.

Although the course was in great condition, it took us 5 and a half hours to complete our round. No one out on the course to control pace of play, and every group ahead of us was either twosomes or singles. I figured that was going to happen when there was no starter before our round even started. Will not be coming back anytime soon

The course is currently in as good shape as I've ever seen it. It looks like any other parkland golf course in Southern Ontario, but the greens can leave you flummoxed. Picking the correct tees is no guarantee you're going to shoot a personal best here. If you're looking to practice, there is ample space on their during range to work on your game or work out the frustrations from your three putts.

I have always enjoyed my time at Cambridge Golf Club. This where my father introduced me to the game at age 7. I have played at least 1 round there every year since. 62 now and play a couple rounds a year with my sons. You will hit every club in your bag and be treated to as good a set of par three's on any one score card.

If they're going to accept bookings in the evening in the winter they need to light the sign and the driveway. I suppose they don't consider that maybe people are coming there for the first time. Once we found the place the staff and the food was great.

Don't be fooled by the forgiving terrain and generous fairways. The challenge on this course is found on the fast greens with subtle breaks. Fun track to play.

Big, challenging course. Great value. It was too long to get 18 in at my 5:30pm walking tee-time. I played tips and the looks were much more difficult than whites. Pace of play was good.

I golfed here for the first time this summer with my spouse. There was an older group golfing behind us who were drilling balls PAST OUR CART! It was a terrifying experience. When we pleaded with them to stop they mimicked us and just kept puffing on their cigars. We had to play ahead so we were no longer in danger. I don't know if this is the typical kind of patron at this course but I'm afraid I won't return just in case. It was a pretty miserable experience. Also they don't have cider beer!?
