I go for Karaoke on Tuesday nights, 8 to 12, hosted by Chris Hazzard. Its a good night of singing, wings on special and sometimes drinks too. Rating is for the night. Recent decorative changes are off with all the blue walls and boat themed bar!?! Its not done yet, so who knows how it will look in the end. If anything should be changed, its move that fireplace!

No one greeted us upon arrival, tables were very dirty. Under new management but still using old menus. Stuffed sole is advertised to include leeks, club Sandwhich states that cheese is included. To our surprise, our meals arrived with neither. When we inquired, we were advised that new management does not include these ingredients. Unfortunately, we won't be making a habit of visiting again.

My experience at the Windjammer was not memorable at all. The food was edible but not very enjoyable. The serving size was small and very overpriced. The atmosphere made me feel as if I were walking into a depressing den for people to drink their sorrows away. The bathrooms are not accessible for those with mobility issues. Although there are many negatives to this review, the waitress at the time was pretty friendly. I can't foresee myself returning anytime soon.

We went on a Friday to see the "Jerry Johnson Band". Entertainment was outstanding. We ordered chicken fingers and fries- which were made from scratch - Awesome food! Outstanding wine list, and great atmosphere. Kumar, the owner was on hand making sure all was well. 5 star customer service from staff- pricing is very reasonable. We will go again.

Very dirty...lips stick on our glasses...vinger and ketchup bottle was dirty..pretty gross we didnt drink our pop at all...told the staff they gave us new glasses that were pretty gross as well...didnt even get a deal after all that...yuk!!!!

I normally only rate a restaurant if the experience positive. But in this case I'm forced to do to the horrible experience. Went for breakfast with a friend at around noon on Saturday. We were the only people in the restaurant section. There were about 3 people at the bar. The server was a very friendly young person in early 20's on her 5th day of employment. I ordered a sandwhich and a medium egg on the side it came out very runny. My friend ordered sandwich that came out wrong and sausage that came out under cooked. After several back and forth attempts and an inadequate meal, we asked for the bill. What followed was nothing short of deplorable. The owner came over with our bill and an attitude. I said we are not paying for the undercooked egg and sausage. She raised her voice at us saying "fine you don't want to pay you bill have a nice day" and ripped the bill out of my hand and stormed away. We were shocked then she proceeded to berate the poor server very loudly in front of whom ever was there blaming her for messing up our order. She was loud and aggressive. This was workplace bullying and terrible to witness. So my friend got up and told her not to talk to her employee that was. She continued to scold her server in a degrading manner that was incredibly embarrassing to all. I walked to the bar area and spoke to owner I told her the intention was to pay the bill, just not the undercooked side orders. So I paid and then she felt it was important to continue to tell me how horrible her server was and how everything was the servers fault and not the cooks. By the way the cook is her husband. Then she felt it was important to tell me additional personal slanderous information about the server. The reason is completely unknown to me. I told her it was incredibly inappropriate and I left. As I was leaving the poor visibly traumatized server who was shaking and near tears apologized to me. I said it was completely not her fault and that she should not permit her employer to treat her like that. I left. While in the parking lot recapping the horrible experience, out comes the server. She quit. We chatted for a few minutes and while in the parking lot the owner came running out aggressively toward the server and yelling at her. Incredible obsenities that I'm not going to repeat werr said by the owner. I was concerned that she might physically attack the server. We stayed to mitigate any potential escalation. We encouraged the server to leave. I ended the horrific conversation with telling the owner that her poor leadership is the reason her restaurant sits empty. Will not be returning.

I was told to f myself by the owner over the phone. I'm a professional musician of many years called to discuss the possibility of playing there. I was told if I don't bring a ton of people out I'm not qualified to play there. Then the owner threatened to call the police on me for trying to explain this is not how professional hired musicians operate. If their business is hurting that bad and they are harassing musicians to bring people then it's time to do something about it. Musicians offer a professional service that is all. You hire a plumber, a carpenter anything you don't expect anything but a service. Other musicians I have spoken to have had the same experience with this place. This is one of the rudest experience in all my career I have went through.

Under new management according to the flyer I got. Tried breakfast. The price is right but it is not the cleanest place. The whole place deserves a major make over. Foods are fine. The only major issue I have is the manual stated "only two refills for coffee". Not sure it will be enforced but this is the only place I have been with this restriction.The coffee cup is not particularly big.

I ordered through skip the dishes, regardless that shouldn't change anything. I ordered: spinach dip, mac and cheese bits and wings. To start, the chips for the dip were stale, the naan bread was soggy and basically just heated in the container. You realize it's a dip! Can't dip with soggy of anything. Next thought I would try out the Mac and cheese bits, WOW, they were so over cooked there was no cheese, I have tried these in a few places and this one feels like my 9 year old decided to try cooking for the first time! And last the wings! You think you can't screw that up right.... Nope! They were UNDER cooked like pink in the middle type cooked, wth guys! Lesson learned, I will never ever go there in person or through food delivery. I will make sure as many people know how bad this place is. Just to let everyone know there were 4 people here to eat the food and we ALL agree, so much so we decided this needed to be posted in a review. Run not walk but RUN from this place!

Awful experience. I did a paint nite here and they had us in a dark corner. I had to use the light on my phone in order see the colours! And other than when we first walked in, we never saw the waitress - we had to hunt her down to pay her! But, it wasn't her fault, she seemed to be the only person working.

Really good service and was impressed with how clean and nice it was inside (very misleading from the outside) food was OK pretty average...had fish and seemed frozen but I would like to go back and try some other menu items. The kids menu was good and the staff made the kids very welcome. The facilities for handicapped customers is good and I would return with my husband who is disabled, it's very spacious and the bahrooms are totally accessible.

The first time we have returned here since the previous owners owned it. This place has become a disaster, the decor is cheap and horrible. It looks like some sort of attempt at making the bar look like a boat. Our party of 8 was way too much for the staff to handle. The bartender was the only one working there as they dd not have waitresses. A customer who had been drinking and conversing loudly even delivered one person's meal. We could hardly believe it. One of the food orders was not entered for a person in our party and when the bartender was asked she said it wasn't her fault, she is too busy. The food itself was not bad, but nowhere near the quality under the previous owners. We definitely will not be returning.

I went into the windjammer this week for the first time...our waitress was named Kelly she was so friendly and welcoming!! We had some wings and an egg salad sandwich that were out of this world! I have never felt so welcomed into an establishment in my life...kudos to Kelly for outstanding service and to the windjammer itself. Highly recommend!!!

BEWARE!!! My band played here a few times with no problems. Played here last week, brought a good crowd, was paid with a cheque which did no cash. Called and spoke with the owners, they assured the check would clear even after it bounced. Horrible ethic, musicians beware!!!

We called ahead and asked to book a group of 30 for brunch. When we arrived we completely overwhelmed the staff. Drinks were missed, some people never received their food and it was quite chaotic. The food I received was good, but not worth returning for. Quite disappointing and they never should have tried to serve us.

The waitress dropped the toast off of my partner's plate and had to get him a new one. Both sets were not the ones he ordered. Forgot the ketchup bottle and placed it on an empty table that I can assure you was empty. Could not remember the order, had to confirm multiple times but the food was ok.

Came to the Windjammer last Thursday with my family must have waited like 40 minutes for our food and when it came out finally it was freezing cold the owners are rude and give you dirty looks and kick you out at random times by far the worst experience ever! ????
