DO NOT GO. I had planned a night with me and my friends two weeks in advanced to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. I purchased a table for $195. To make this long story short, the first thing that happens when we get there is we are asked to pay for a cover and we arrived at 10:40 and the cut off for free entry for a party is 10:30. But before this I talked to a manager or owner and he said it is cool if we come a little after 10:30, even if so its only 10 minutes. So I argued with them about that. Then I had mistaken our group for 11 and the table covers entry for 10. So I paid the 11th but we didn't have an 11th. I then asked for my $10 dollars back which seemed like no big deal and they denied ever taking my money for the entire night. Later in the night I confronted the women again, she said here is your 10 bucks and get out. I got kicked out for a staff attempting to steal from me. I spent $195 dollars. Completely ruined the entire night. DO NOT GO.

Forget the reviews! The people that are complaining are the ones who buy one drink the whole night and expect to have a good time. Last time I was there we bought 4 bottles and owners gave us 2 bottles on the house on top of the dozen free shots! Ratio is 5 beautiful girls to 1 (immature guy) ! Carpe Diem!

The absolute worst experience ever. Came in for a last minute girls night and we figured this place was perfect cause it was close to home. Wrong. As soon as we got in we headed straight to the bar to buy shots, bought shots and as I took mine felt something prick me in my mouth. Glass.. My shot had a shard of GLASS in it! My lip started bleeding, I was just so thankful I didn't swallow it. I went to go talk to the bartender about it and her response was "Oh really? Sorry." And went about her night. So a friend of mine found the manager or owner. Whoever it was we spoke to he didn't seem to care whatsoever. I explained what happened and his response was "So what? You want a free shot or something?" Yeah.. I want another shot from the bar that had glass in their drinks in the first place WORST PLACE EVER If you're thinking of going here out of convenience don't, might aswell make the trip to Toronto for a much better night.

Absolute crap club... Drinks are ridiculously overpriced. Super over packed and don't accept credit or debit, machine charges you 4$ to take out money, complete rip off and waste of time for 10$ cover.

Literally dead, nobody was there on a Saturday night bouncers were incredibly rude, made one of my friends cry and denied her entry when she had all of her legitimate ID. My reccomendation: if you're hurting for patrons try not denying every second person entry because your bouncers are on a power trip.

Went here for a girls night with some friends from work. The crowd ranged from young to middle aged to older! Everyone was having a great time and the bartenders were nice. Music was great and drinks were cheap. Highly suggest Island Nightclub for a nice night out!

Ordered a Vodka tonic off the back bar. Had a funny taste to it. The bartender was nice enough to re mix a drink. Also tasted funny. Apparently because 'our ice is weird tonight...." I'd be happier to hear we're out of ice and sorry for the inconvenience rather than : we're serving ice that tastes funny, live with it. Not the servers fault, but management is definitely not putting the customer first.

Worst experience i have ever encountered, bouncers are rude and disrespectful, don't waste your time and money on this place, paid in advance to have a booth and when i arrived they acted like they didnt know what i was talking about. DONT COME HERE

It's fun if you go with a group of friends, but the management is not great at all. They are closed every day of the week and don't answer their phones otherwise. I was trying to book a booth for my friend's birthday and they didn't even respond. I messaged them on Facebook and was told that they would call back within 2 hours. I called 3 times and have waited 6 hours, no call back. Drinks are also way overpriced for what you get. Good area to dance if you are with friends, however, anything that is the job of management or staff, don't have high expectations. Website doesn't work for guestlist or booth reservations so there really aren't any other options. Looking at the responses from whoever is in charge of responding, I can see why the management is poor here. The person continues to belittle and talk down to everyone in a very unprofessional manner and only acknowledges the poor reviews. EDIT: The nightclub has contacted me and I would like to correct my review. I did not know that the club called form an outside line that came up as "No Caller ID." They sent a message and made me aware of this.

Omg where to begin we got a booth they were grimmy had an issue where 2 of our party were sitting and relaxing in OUR booth the bouncers grabbed them and kicked them out they said they fell asleep tried to talk to the owner Kathy apparently the staff says she wouldn't care And one of the staff said they don't even think that's her real name. I finally found her and she shrugged us off so this place ruined our night we all left and went ivy I personally would not recommend this place to anyone Good luck if you go

Fun to go to when you aren't actually spending money... you honestly will regret spending your money here. Worst service I have ever received. After my party spent $1000 there our waitress was never anywhere to be found, our booth was given away the second we said we weren't getting any more bottles. My guests that arrived at 10:33 and beyond were charged to come in - surely after spending so much such an insignificant fee could be waived. Was told my guests didn't have to wait in line - they did. Wouldn't let one of my guests in because of his "shoes" (these were brand new $400 black leather shoes) but saw people wearing nikes, vans in the club? Waited 30 minutes to talk to a manager. Security was picking problems with people for absolutely no reason and when I tried to calmly talk to them (I was not drunk) I was told if I didn't stop bothering him he would throw me out. I would go back MAYBE but would never waste my money on bottle service again. I recommend for others to do the same

If you could give this place a negative 5 I would. Do not send your kids or pay for any event at this place they are horrible at organization of any kind of party. They will rip you off and have 2 to 3 hour line up for overpriced event that did not even happen. Horrible experience do not bother. They should update Google to say people usually spend 1-3 hours here in line getting harrassed.

Honestly 10/10 would recommend to 3 friends. Island nightclub and patio bar is an outstanding venue with outstanding staff and a great vibe. I went last night and it was a little packed but that's just because it's a popular spot. I wish they were open every day.

Edit: There is a reason why this place has such bad ratings. Owner/management can't own up to any issues with the place, they even go as low as lying and arguing back with customers. What a joke. Went here with a group of 5 girls, we had pre ordered a booth for the night which was advertised (on Facebook) at 100$ including a bottle and free cover before 11pm. We showed up around 10:40, went in and sat at our booth waited about 10 minutes with nobody coming up to us, we all decided to go to the bathroom. We came back sat down someone finally approached us at 11:03 we were told it was 2 bottle minimum at 200$ each which is not what was advertised. We decided that was way to expensive so we asked if we could leave the booth and have them re sell it without being charged (they already had our credit card information) they said that was not a problem. Throughout the night My friends were getting drinks at the bar which they were being overcharged for, the bartenders would put the change on the counter and then grab it before you had the chance to pick it up. I was drinking water all night, which I was made to feel annoying for ordering. After we had been told we would not be charged for the booth by 2 separate people, the next day my friend had a 200$ charge on her credit card(even though we did not use the booth and they did resell). When she called to dispute the chargers she was met with absolutely horrible customer service. Will not return

The Good: Great DJ, Decor, overall atmosphere. Kind bouncers and spacial dance floor. Even better in the summer due to the outdoors. The Bad: Drinks far too Expensive. Younger and polarizing crowd. Wouldn't recommend to an adult age group. Staff incredibly rude and try to scam you. Do NOT buy bottle service here. We went to the washroom and they resold our table to other people. Overall: Don’t go.

Went here with a few friends we got in before 10:30 which is free if you are on guest list, the lady at the entrance kept saying " you have to pay your names not here" when we submitted to guest list the day before and got a confrontation she kept arguing with us until my friend showed her the confirmation email and still wouldn't let us in it took a while until she finally did. overall not fun theres undercover and security is awful.

Edit: That response just proved everything I have said about management. Can I just say one more time, we were told by TWO workers we could leave the booth at NO CHARGE. If they said we would have been charged; we would have STAYED. Maybe talk to your lying employees next time instead of fighting with customers. But we were told before we left by our blonde server, and then again by an older women out front who I assumed was management. We left at 12:30am because of all the underaged kids and creepy older men but I hope you feel better after your pathetic response. Yikes! . My group of 5 girls ordered a booth after seeing this 100$/booth/bottle deal they had before 11pm advertised all over their Facebook! We arrived at 10:45 but we weren’t waited on until it hit 11 so they could charge us full price and not the deal. We decided to cancel our booth because we’re not huge drinkers to begin with and can’t justify a $200 bottle. I was as sober as can be and can still remember the interaction of our server saying “If you leave it’s fine, you won’t get charged” and then took the menu back. We thought this was unexpected coming from a club, but pretty awesome service of them! We continued to buy a couple drinks and dance for about an hour until we realized the club was littered with underaged children, what a buzzkill. We called our Uber and on the way out, there was a older women working outside so we went up to her confirming that we will not get charged for this booth, she also stated no of course not! It’s worth mentioning we saw a group of men in the booth we left throughout the time we were there, so they must have resold it rather quickly. Next morning, we were charged $200. My friend called to explain the situation thinking it would be an easily resolved mistake but nope, the workers who we talked to the night before must have been drunk because they denied ever saying we could leave the booth! After arguing, they finally refunded us the booth cost and we just paid the cover. Has potential, but the customer service is just awful. Do better.

This place is a scam. My friends and I inquired about purchasing bottle service here for my friend's birthday. We were told bottles were $175 each and allowed us free entry before 11pm. When we arrived we were told that we would have to pay for cover, even after showing the earlier message indicating free cover. On top of that, once we got to our booth we were told that bottles would be $200, not $175 as stated earlier. Just getting into the club with our group was a struggle, only to find that the interior was completely empty with barely any other patrons. Our server was nice but was hard to find after we got our first two bottles. Staff continuously cleaned our booth removing our drinks while we were still drinking them. Overall, staff were abrasive and soured our experience at this location. Music wasn't that bad, but if you can afford to, I would highly recommend going to another club in the GTA.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCES. UNRELIABLE, UNSAFE, UNCOMFORTABLE. 1. Ryan the owner gave me his number, hit on me and asked me to work "after hours" for him in the downstairs of the club. After looking him up on Facebook, found he was married. Disgusting. 2. Asked for water and was told it's $5.50 for a bottle of water. No free water. THIS IS AGAINST SMART SERVE REGULATIONS. Where alcohol is served, water must be made available. 3. I was caught up in the middle of a brawl where I was thrown on the floor and cut by broken glass. I went outside, and was let back in again to find my boyfriend while covered in blood (mine and others). Never once was asked if I was ok or needed help. 4. Despite my terrible experiences, tried to give them another chance and book here for my birthday. They were incredibly rude and condescending throughout the entire process while trying to make a reservation. We were told they'd call us two weeks in advance so that we could confirm the date and booth package and provide a credit card. They phoned TWO DAYS AFTER MY BIRTHDAY. Huge fail. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere and will never rely on Island or (attempt to) give them any of my business again.

Place must be closed permanently. Hasn't opened since the summer and the marquee sign out front says Grand Opening May 31 June 1st...of last year. Owners don't care.
