My wife got a sandwich that had pork belly on it and a salad for $17. She enjoyed her sandwich and the quantity was ok. I on the other hand got a buffalo chicken "sandwich" for $19. I quoted the word sandwich there because it wasn't really a sandwich. It was more like a half sandwich or a "slider". The fries came in a little bowl. Overall, the "sandwich" was mediocre and definitely should have cost half of what they charged for it. I left feeling hungry and a little ripped off. I would not recommend this place.

You must visit this place if you in brockville. Food is awesome, every item they have specialty, their ingredients is so delicious. We have been five times over there but can’t get tired of food. Also drinks are so good of course it’s brewery so it has to be. Staff service also good very friendly.

I don’t often leave reviews but after the experience we had here last week I felt compelled to. My husband, father and I were here for lunch and we’re still shaking our heads with how horrible it was. We were seated in the bar area close to the door and we asked to move to a booth. The server wasn’t entirely friendly in her response, but they moved us with little issue. The next server we had was very friendly and super accommodating, but when dad asked for fries with his sandwich, she failed to mention that they don’t do fries. I ordered the stew, which I’m pretty certain came from a can - it resembled Campbell’s Chunky stew rather than the homemade variety. My brie was not quite melted, and the berry compote on top was cold and clearly came from a bag of frozen berries one would buy for smoothies. My husband had the pizza, which also tasted oddly similar to a frozen one from the grocery store. The worst meal, however, was my father’s. He ordered the brisket sandwich and instead of lovely, fall-apart meat it was a cold cut monstrosity in a bun that was so tough you could not bite in to it. To top it off the fries he ordered came as potato chips that lacked flavour (I didn’t think that was possible with potato chips?). The beer on the other hand was great, but they were out of 4-5 different options when we ordered our flights. So on the whole I would say beer: four stars, service: two stars, food: one star. I would rate higher but the sting of an $80 bill for really horrible food and lacklustre service is a bit much.

Stopped here after 80 KM of cycling. Great service, very good beers and good food. They were out of their blond. Had their wheat beer (refreshing after the cycling trip) and several of their East Coast IPAs. Not too hoppy and God citrus taste. Had nachos and wings. A little pricey ($16) but very good. Definitely recommend.

My girlfriends and I chose this spot for a few drinks and lunch. Our first patio experience since covid. The server we had (I wish I knew her name) was absolutely wonderful and we had an incredible experience. Their cocktails were fantastic and the sours I bought to go were just as wonderful. Avoid the Shepherds Pie, the potatoes were so pureed and flavorless that they seemed like they were powdered out of a box. For the price paid, I was disappointed. I ate 2 thirds of it as I had missed breakfast and was traveling but should have sent it back after the first bite. Beer was good so maybe this is just a place to go for pints before 11 pm...

Opted for the beef vindaloo dish. Wrong choice. Funky rice, some in clumps on bottom with strips of beef (?) and not cubed in a strange sauce without any taste. I had to request for some hot sauce to make it taste near what a Hindu beef vindaloo should taste. The best thing was the naan bread What's with the deep sauce dish? You can rave about the flat beer but the dish was just awful. Like I said...bad choice. Service was good and friendly. Just tell the cook to look up on web site how to prepare a beef vindaloo or remove it from your menu.

I'll start by saying this wasn't even my first choice for dinner, we were visiting in town for the evening and had chosen another spot but there was a mess up with our reservation. 1000 islands brewing co was very close by so we walked there instead and I am SO glad we did! We were seated at a table in no time, menu was amazing for both food and cocktails. We ordered a quarter chicken meal and a curried chickpeas and both were delicious as were our drinks. Highlight of the night was our server, Perseus, who was excellent! Quick service, super friendly to chat with - definitely takes care of his tables. I'd come back here any time that we happen to be back in town.

Best patio seating in town. The staff are on point. Food is excellent. They make a homemade beer that is delicious. We had the Jamaican Pork Jerky and a salad with added chicken, zero complaints.

Well where to begin.... waited 10 mins for staff to bother to get us a table, even when the place was almost empty. A very friendly server took our drink order and brought us our drinks, and said she would return to take our food order. after 30 mins we had to find a server just to order. After another long wait, the food arrived, we enjoy spicy food, but whatever they put on the Nachos and the burnt pork ends was beyond hot, not to mention the burnt pork was terrible, just left over fat not what was advertised. I have never had such bad service and terrible food! At least the beer was good. Needless to say we will never return.

In the summer the doors open to expose the entire front of the bar to the sidewalk. Great idea. For an overall excellent experience give it a try.

I paid $18 for a plate of overcooked cool spaghetti. It was supposed to have pesto, cherry tomatoes and basil….maybe 1/2 a cherry tomato, if that. I felt very ripped off and when I complained, they said « I’m sorry « but nothing was done about it. I was very dissatisfied.

Fantastic food. Blueberry BBQ sauce on the short ribs was one of the best BBQ sauce I've ever had. Ribs themselves had a very satisfying slow smokes flavour and fell right off the bones. 10/10 Service was also fantastic, especially during pandemic time, perfect amount of attentiveness without being pushy. 10/10 So great that Brockville has gems like this that are flourishing. Will absolutely be returning.

great experience turned into a terrible experience just like that .. new to the area and was lured downtown to the Shop the Street and stopped at 1000 islands on a whim.. was by myself and took a 2 person table outside in a corner... beer was cold vibe was great until a Hostess came over and forcibly told me I had to move to a 2 person table right by the busy entrance as my table, and where I wasn't finished yet, was needed for 3 people... my response though low key was not favorable and she ignored it and I watched as she breezily led the 3 patrons to my table... i quickly finished my beer and left and told her so on the way out.. she didn't seem to care and offered a half hearted apology and a discount on my beer.. really? WOW! :-( .. my first and last experience at 1000 Islands... I checked the reviews here and many complain of an overpriced menu which makes sense... it would take my $20-30 for beer at least 4-5 return visits to match a one time table for 3 and potentially $75-125... hope it was worth it and complete lack of customer service skills... really sad and i'm hoping this is not an indication of what Brockville has to offer.

My boyfriend took a luxury Bigmac style burger that was good but much heavier. The beer is surprising, I took the Brown ale and I suggest it is perfect with a sandwich or a burger. There is a nice shop, the beers are very affordable! (Original) C'est une belle surprise! Nous n'avons aucune attente! La bouffe est très simple mais excellente! Mon sandwich BLTC était léger et la sauce était succulente. Mon chum a prit un burger style bigmac de luxe c'était bon mais beaucoup plus lourd. La bière est surprenante, moi j'ai pris la Brown ale je vous la suggère elle est parfaite avec le sandwich ou le burger. Il y a une belle boutique, les bières sont très abordables!

We recently had the pleasure of staying in Brockville for a few days at the 48 King West (Amazing!). We thought we would enjoy this closely-located Brewery but had no idea we would love it. We sampled some beer but ended up staying with and enjoying each and every time, the East Coast IPA (citrusy and smooth). Some of our highlights include the Butcher's sandwich (tender medium rare meat, soft but crusty bread and excellent au jus, etc), the Better Mac burger, Pork Belly Burnt Ends, the pizza (pierogi and meat lover's- crispy yet chewy crust- toppings excellent), and the fingerlings side. Did not love the bao buns themselves but the filling was plentiful and delicious. There are many more options on the menu we look forward to exploring. Did not expect this elevated food and were very happy on several visits. Service was very good. We will be back- it is a must stop any time we are in the area.

A very good variety of craft beers (everything from lager to APA to stout) that are all quite good, along with some food that tastes great and is complimented nicely by their beers.

Having recently sat on the patio with a friend, I was thorough impressed and overjoyed by everything about this place. The food was incredible—I had the Beyond Meat Burger and a side of potatoes (which were incredible) and my friend had a Caesar salad, which she called “the best she’s ever had.” The beer selection was awesome and delicious! Our server was very friendly, kind and patient. We were never waiting for anything and she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. Staff took safety precautions and barriers were put up on the edges of the patio near the sidewalk. I loved this experience—it’s also a stone’s throw away from the water—and I will absolutely be going back. Thank you!

We stopped in for lunch. The owners have clearly invested in the business. The space has been nicely renovated. The high chairs are very comfortable. They have a good range of in-house beers and a few (maybe 3) guest taps. Service could be improved--our server did not let us know they had a flight option (despite our asking questions about several beers) and spoke so quietly it was difficult to hear what was being said at times. Unfortunately the food menu is quite limited, and more suited for lunch or snacks (mainly sandwiches and charcuterie plates). Hopefully they are able to expand their food offerings soon. The place feels more like a bar than most pubs do.

Wow! I'm not sure how else to start. First I'll talk about the beer. I had an East coast IPA and a peach sour. Both outstanding. The wifes drink had a flower and was also delicious. The food again was outstanding. The baconator was next level and the pork belly bits were incredible. 6 stars

Great beer selection, every flavor for everyone. Wine is also sold here but the wine list is lacking and expensive, but it is a brewery after all. They have a beer store here to purchase house brands to bring home. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Food is nothing extravagant but I go for the beer. All brewed fresh on site. Would recommend.
