Outstanding food and service! A comfortable, relaxed and friendly environment. Great selection on the menu and exceptional value for the money. Consistency in quality is amazing. Homemade soups are delicious, specials are creative and appetizing. Portion sizes are perfect. Breakfast is only on the weekends but well worth the wait! Love this place. PS. The Staff are wonderful, they are friendly, courteous, efficient and accommodating. Shout out to Pam, Heather, Courtney and all the others they are GREAT!

I've gotten on skip numerous times and was good. Went in today for my birthday and was delicious. Got a big poutine and jumbo wings (Wednesday is dollar wing day). Delicious British pub food. Great service. Will definately be back.

My husband and I tried this place on a whim and boy, am I glad we did! It was a FANTASTIC experience. The waitress was amazing. The food was great and they have gluten free options (as well as BUNS - which most places do not have or, if they do, they aren't good)... it felt like a real authentic British Pub. I really loved the decor. Their draft beer selection was quite good. It was quiet enough to talk to my husband and not have to yell and yet, it was clear that it was a popular place because it began to fill up very fast, with obvious regulars. Both my husband and I commented that we will have to come back with our kids... and definitely when the patio opens up!

Awesome little pub with tasty food. Great staff and service. A big menu and a large selection of beers on tap. The menu is a lot of the normal pub fare from burgers, nachos, soups and salads but there are other more unique selections. Try the 'make your own' flat breads for a tasty and filling meal.

Good service, decent atmosphere. Don't bother with the Indian menu unless you like microwave and soggy sludge. Indian should not be advertised as a selling point. Brantford may not have the most noteworthy ethnic food scene but this BAR does not represent the fine cuisine of India at all and should stick to wings and pints as this pub does well.

Love this place when I just want pub food. Burgers and fish and chips are excellent. I like that it's not served with a huge pile of fries - I don't leave feeling unpleasantly stuffed with starch. My only complaint is that getting allergy information is hit or miss - either you get someone willing to check, or you just get "oh, I'm not sure..." with no real follow-up.

Great atmosphere, service and food. The food is fresh prepared, not like most chain restaurants who serve a lot of frozen dishes. Try the British Poutine (instead of gravy it’s with curry sauce). Tons of beef in it, big enough for 2 people. Thursday is wing night (Half price). Some of the wings are the size of a drum stick lol. We always ask for extra dusting on our lemon pepper wings. We love Pam and Heather who always go out of their way to make us feel special. If you haven’t already, give it a try.

Found a feather in my chicken wing and was told its normal by the waitresses. I expect my 2$ per wing chickenwings 2 be perfect! Havin years exp in kitchens i know 4 a fact that breaks healthcodes. Tricking customers with Elevated basets 4 their fries makes for smaller portion sizes. Also was given no mints with bill. Was our first experience here wont be back i prefer my wings flightless.

A friend and I decided to enjoy pub fare at the Duke on Park this evening. A great place for good food and conversation! I had bangers and mash, a perennial favourite, and my friend enjoyed her chicken fingers. A Kronenborg was just the right addition to my meal. Our server, Taylor was pleasant and attentive, and convinced us both that chocolate lava cake would top off our dinner perfectly (she was right!). The patio was a great place to enjoy the beautiful evening.

The British poutine from here is the best poutine I've ever had. One of my go tos when ordering out. My gf got the shepherd pie poutine once and that one was a bit disapointing and bland in comparison.

Sent me the literal wrong order through skip the dishes. When I called into figure out a solution, I could hear the manager full on bad-mouthing me as a customer to the girl who answered the phone. This is by far the worst and most unprofessional establishment I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. For the record Mr Clown, I didn't want free stuff, I wanted what I ordered.

Can’t say it was memorable. The food was okay at best. I ordered the bangers n mash which was just regular smoked sausages that you get in a bag, not traditional British style bangers that you would expect from A British pub. The beans tasted like they came from a can and the meal itself was flat. The garlic cheese bread definitely wasn’t on Sourdough like advertised. Don’t think I’ll be returning.

We had a very mediocre experience here recently. Our server seemed distracted and over worked, and service was generally slow considering how quiet the place was towards the end of our meal. The food was just ok. I had a wrap, but there was hardly any chicken in it. My partner had a burger which was black. My parents didn't say anything about their food which means they didn't enjoy it. It's a shame, because this place has a great English pub vibe. Hopefully the service and food improves.

Had lunch and there was no crowd, great service around and the waitress (whose name is Brook) was attentive and kind,they had kids go pack for my daughter who loved it, we had the wings ( 6 for $6 special), the pulled pork sandwiche, the Duke burger and the childrens mac and cheese, the silence around the table is testament to the excellent quality, we finished with a child's Sunday and apple crumble all around and of anything the desert was even better then the lunch! I recommend this place to anyone who lives in Orvis passing through Brantford

I can't say enough good things about The Duke on Park ! They are phenomenal and by far my favorite restaurant in brantford. We had ordered tonight for pickup, only once my dad got home did we realize we got the wrong meals (not the restaurants fault) I called the restaurant, and within half an hour they delivered all 4 meals we had originally ordered for nothing extra. Their food is always amazing, and especially for take out. We live about 20 minutes away, and everything was hot and crispy. If you haven't tried them, do it! We got 2 fish and chips meals, 2 chicken fingers with poutine. All amazing. Service is by far the best! Wonderful people there!!!

A pub-like atmosphere with good traditional English food. The menu offers a wide selection of choices at fair prices. The $7 appetizers after 9pm is an absolute deal. Overall, the food is delicious and the stand out is their British Poutine. I never had such a great tasting poutine. A must have for any poutine lovers. The only item I wasn't a fan of is the guacamole dip that came with the nachos. Other than that, the food has always been on point and the same can be said for the service. Duke on Park has live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

My home away from home. I've been living in Canada for 3 years (Originally from England) and im always on the look out for British pubs to satisfy that craving every now and then. My wife and I have been to the Duke On Park several times and we love it. Great food, reasonable prices and the curry sauce is amazing. It takes me back to the good old days thats for sure. Great place to eat. Very reasonable price. Their specials are great. It's a British style pub. Its location is a little hard to find. Fairview Park Road to West Street turn left becomes Park Road North Its about a km on the right. Enter at BDO parking lot and go right to the end of the lot. Good parking lot. Bring an appetite you will be pleased.

Had an issue last visit, but the owner reached out to explain what happened and helped correct the problem at the source. My wife and have been coming here on Mondays for half price Burgers for years. Great atmosphere and food.

Not good, 30° out & had no umbrella so ended up with headache then to top that a group of 4 came in & joined a person already there ( in their 30s) wearing no masks & all proceeded to hug eachother. I am still shaken by this! My husband & I have been basically staying put since March, not seeing our kids/grandkids & have been so carefull & felt probably ok to have patio dinner for Canada Day & to see this!!

I attended a party being held at this pub with 30 other people and it was a great time. The service was awesome and the music for a one man act was surprisingly trendy and entertaining. The crowd outside of our party was a thirty something group and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. They had a dartboard that was utilized but no billiard tables. The food was normal pub fare with ample portions. For those who like the standard pubs it doesn't disappoint.

We went to try their burger on burger special Monday’s. They have a five dollar special. All the rest of the burgers are half price. The five dollar special was quite tasty and a decent size. They have lots of good daily specials and an awesome seniors menu. Good variety of beers. Nice clean place with super friendly service. Worth a try. We will be back for sure. I enjoy the food, the atmosphere, and the people working there. I have never been disappointed with a meal there yet! i try to get there at least once a month and have yet to be dissatisfied.

Used to enjoy this place quite often, food is great, and beer choices are always great. Until we were there and were asked to leave because our table was "reserved" but when we called to make a reservation. We were told that they do not accept them during covid. And there was plenty of other seating available. Then heard the servers gathered at the bar talking bad about 2 people smoking too close to the patio, where they put the smoking area... we racked up a $200 food and beverage bill in 2 hours, and planned on more until we were told to leave. Only takes one bad experience, and we will not be going back again.

The food was excellent, atmosphere was great as well, but when it came time to leave, our daughter and my wife wanted to take home their left overs, and we were charged for the take home containers. It's trying times for everyone I understand, but with the amount of take out and delivery going on, we wanted to support the waitress staff, only to be encouraged to order take out next time so we won't end up being charged the extra.

didn't get food until over an hour and a half later. everyone at table got their dinner at different times, most of us had finished eating when family member was finally given dinner. kept getting told that they were too busy, yet weren't given any discount. a business should never complain when they are busy. disappointed as this was for a birthday that was done in the party room.

We were eating there once per month with a group of 20 plus. They served us the regular breakfast without letting us see the menu claiming it would be faster this way. They charged us extra for meat and when we asked about that they said the menu was changed. Turns out the menu is not changed and they just charged us extra to get more money.

Went for first time yesterday for lunch, upon arriving was pleased with the decor and amount of patrons dining. Menu was good but when food arrived it went downhill. 6 wings in the lb( understand its on special but normal amount of wings should still be given 8-10 at most other restaurants...) husband found a huge feather in his wings than was told by waitress 'this is normal' ummm gross i understand you get them this way but it should NEVER come out on plate like that???????????? slightly overpriced paid 5 dollars to upgrade fries to poutine that came with small amount of fries, cheese and gravy.. not what i was expecting at all for 5 bucks... serevely disappointed will not be returning...ill give my business to Zanders that doesnt serve feathers..

First time visit. The place was very busy. We were seated quickly and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. I had the fish and chips (special) and it was all I could do to eat it all. One piece would have been sufficient but I went for the two piece because I couldn't pass up the deal. The meal was excellent. Best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. Will definitely be returning to try other menu options.
