Never would go there again. Made reservations, once seated we never got menus or offered if we would like drinks. After 30 mins l asked for menus then sat for another 30 mins and still no server to take our order. I asked to speak to the manager he came over and said "whats the problem" so l told him and still no waitress. He said what do you want me to do about l said l would like a gift card so we can come back another time. He said thats not going to happen. I said its difficult to support local business when we have terrible service. He said l will be right back, as l sat there patiently....... nope the manager never came back.

Absolutely terrible food tonight. Ordered the steak and lobster tail. The steak was completely grisly and the side of corn was literally frozen. Loved the waitress wonderful service. Felt bad for sending food back but the managers resolution to the disgusting meal was to give me $ 5.80discount off my bill. Gee thanks i left hungry because I didn't actually eat anything except the baked potato. Won't bother going back. To many good restaurants that value their customers to take another chance with this one. Terrible!!!!!!!!!!!@

OMG. buffalo chic fingers get sweet very mild sauce. Shareable cedar salad is a single 6inch pile in a 12 inch bowl plate, no wear near shareable. Steak is well at one end and medium as ordered the other and then a extra side of corn beside being cold was literaly 1 section. Hard to immage if they served 3 pieces at every other chucks what's going on also .75 cents to get the actuall buffalo hot sauce ... asked the server and the reply was guess the kitchen messed. No offer to fix or remark of removing from bill. Top it off. No chocolate sauce for klondike. Qhen Asked "how do you serve missing a key ingredient" the reply is we just leave it off..... OMG... are these guys in brockville serious. I dont see then staying in business long. Maybe corp needs to serious investigate. 75.00 bill and not a single manager visit or offer to change or fix. WORST chucks in ontario... . . . .

Food was sub par. Service was uncomfortable...not sure how else to explain it? Our server was super nice almost over the top and asked far too many questions. I know that is an odd complaint but at one point she even came to the table and tried to pack my food up to take home. I wasn't even done half my meal yet! Not sure why she thought I was? The bread on my sandwich was old and dry and split while trying to eat it. The fries were basic frozen fries and soggy. My husband ordered the mushroom burger, came with an almost whole mushroom on top of the burger not cut. The burger was much smaller than the bun and he was 3 bites in before he got to the burger. Will not be returning.

First off, if your going for dinner in St.Thomas, DO NOT GO HERE! go to St.Thomas Roadhouse. Well first off we get there and it’s a half hour wait oh well right, we get our seat and it’s on the bar side which we did not want. We order our food (me and my Girlfriend) we got the nachos and there was barely anything on them, we wait 45 minutes for our entree’s and everything was cold, the waitress forgot my lobster tail which was the size of a shrimp and was burnt. My girlfriends steak was burnt and tasteless and her gravy was jelly. The fries were cold and soft. So halfway through eating our food the music turned up so loud that we couldn’t talk, the cooks were drinking alcohol (saw them make drinks bring them into the kitchen and drink it) the waitress and manager ignored us, he was too interested in the basketball game. We got dessert the coconut cream pie and was just crust and whip cream and while attempting to eat that I witnessed a waitress drop food on the counter put it back on the plate and serve it. Got the bill and was so damn overpriced even after the coupon. Long story short please do not waste your money here.

This was my first visit and I got a steak which was huge and I could only eat half. I ordered medium rare, but it tasted more like rare. On my next visit I will go up to medium and hopefully that will help. Great creamy mashed potatoes. The girl who cashed me out was really nice and I really appreciate that. All in all I will be back :)

My husband and I went there today, big mistake. My husband had a t-bone, small cold piece of corn. Instead of fries he took a Caesar salad which was very small plus the waitress forgot his mushrooms and brought them to the table after he was done his meal. I had the garlic bread with cheese, for the price there should be more bread and cheese on all the pieces not just the middle one. I also had the nachos, they put the salsa on one side on top of the nachos and the sour cream on the other side, which I think those should be on the side. I couldn't eat the last layer as they were all cooked into the paper and couldn't get them off. Not worth the price plus the service is so slow. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Pretty yummy but the "Honesty" fee runs me the wrong way. I get that the cost of food has increased but giving me a price and then telling me that there is an additional 3% doesn't seem right especially since part of their marketing is based on their low menu prices before the "honesty" fee.

We came to this chucks and it took over an hour to get a beer . Then we had food on order some of us did not evan receive food and it took an extremely long time to get what we had purchased. The wings that we had purchased were extremely under weight and they over charged . Terrible service do not waste your or money at this chucks roadhouse.

The food was good and prices were great but the service was very slow. I was disappointed with the service as we waited 30 mins to have the dirty plates cleared and to be asked if we wanted dessert. We did want dessert initially, but having to wait over half an hour to be asked if we wanted dessert made us not want it anymore. They need to be able to handle things better when they are busy. Everything else was good though. I would recommend this place just would have liked to have dessert at a decent time after the meal.

We went today. It's the second time we've gone and I don't think we'll be back. It's an OK place, seems to be clean and in good repair. It took 40 minutes to get our food after we waited 20 for a waitress, and drinks. The waitresses were polite and friendly enough when we actually saw them. There seemed to be a little group of three or so employees having a social at the end of the bar, not looking around or monitoring their customers. We ordered the cheese garlic bread. Don't do it! It's just a little loaf of bread with cheese melted on it, most of that cheese is stuck to the stone dish it comes on. I asked for extra pickle, didn't get it, had to ask 3 different people for ketchup. No coleslaw with the fish, and no marinara sauce for mozzarella sticks. I've never even heard of people using ranch for a mozzarella dip, dairy overload. Gross.We were going to have dessert but we couldn't get anyone's attention and no one came to ask, so we asked a little girl at the front who was staring off into space if we could have the bill. Service is nonexistent. They seem to need a manager, or one that knows what they're doing.

Made a reservation for 5 ppl but no table - ended up eating in the bar area - I certainly was not impressed to pay over $200 to take family for dinner to have the waitress ignore me and fawn over my man. Good thing my mother was there or the fur would have flown. Especially with how messed up our plates were - we were switching food items across 5 plates to correct everything. Okay food (except corn is disgusting - must be dipped in some oil concoction), terrible service - we haven't returned since my dinner-out disaster last December. Mom wasn't pleased. In-laws thought the whole evening was a joke. We all left shaking our heads.

Waitress was pretty slow at first, even with only a few tables..but got a bit better once she took our order but after we got our food she disappeared again so...service was a 2/5. The food was pretty good calamari & steak & fries & lobster tails. But the butter for the lobster was plain..no garlic & the Caesar salad had watered-down dressing. So the food was a solid 4/5. Price & portion...5/5 . Music was somewhat loud...sorry no pictures forgot to take them.

Almost didnt even try this restaurant due to some of the poor reviews. Decided to give it a try and had no complaints. Food was good and prices are cheap, 4 steak dinners with drinks for under $100. We went at 6pm on a Saturday and were greeted and seated right away, wait time for the food was very reasonable. The waitress was new and was trying her best, made a few mistakes on the drinks but overall everything was good, would return.

For everyone complaining about lobster, it's a sports bar if you want fresh lobster it's not your best bet.. only place in town you can actually get good prices on beer and service is always good. In regards to quality if you're comparing it to other places like it (the firehall, tin cup, Kelleys etc) the food is same quality at a fraction of the cost. It's about time someone did something positive with this location

Food choices are extremely limited for any dietary restrictions. Beer choices were sub par, and the water glasses had a distinct smell of bleach. Other than that, the server was nice and friendly. Wouldn't come back unless they drastically update their menu

I have been wanting to try this place for a while, even more so waiting for the welland location to open so, we went to the one in fort erie. Service was good, waitress was comical with my son. We all enjoyed our meal. We had deep fried pickles that were tasty. Steak was cooked to perfection, burger was good and so were the ribs and chicken wings. Only complaint really were fries could have been cooked a tad longer. Otherwise will definitely be back!

Unfortunately we will likely not be back. We love the Niagara location though. We tried the Brantford location 4 times since March. This time we actually received our food within a reasonable time. However steaks overdone and sides were literally as cold as something that came out of fridge. Ice cube in drink had fuzzy mold. When bringing it to servers attention, she just replaced drink. Obviously theres an issue with the ice bin being dirty. When we saw that our food was sub par, we were looking for our server. The manager saw and came over. She asked how we were doing and we told her that our steaks were over done and cold sides and how our experiences in past not so great either. She said she'd removed the steaks from bill. She came back as I was cutting my son's - also overdone steak. Asked if it was ok. I said no that it was over done too but both my son and daughter were hungry so they would eat it. So they removed the dinners we didnt eat and charged us for the moldy drink. We left unhappy and really hungry!! One shouldn't leave a restaurant hungry.

Disappointed, disappointed disappointed... Waited almost 30 mins for nachos app... When we did get our food, bout 15-20 mins later (was not that busy when we arrived). The fries were cold, my steak which I asked for med rare, was way over cooked, waitress never came to ask if we needed anything (extra napkins, steak sauce) or to see if we were happy with our food, burgers were overcooked. Then had to wait another 15mins before was given the check... Will not go back again... Was a waste of $s to be so disappointed in a meal.????????????

A few girls from work and I came here after a long shift for dinner and a few drinks. Being that the word 'bar' is in the title of the restaurant we figured it would be okay to order drinks here but apparently not. I'll start off by saying that I ordered the steak, and it was delicious. The first server seemed nice, if not a little forgetful of the order---but slow. We asked for a drink or two each which we were promptly told we could only have one drink at a time. Server seemed uncomfortable serving alcohol (even though none of us raised our voices higher than the tv volume). After taking 30 mins to bring the first round of drinks, I also asked for a water. Twice, after she forgot, and then our server told us she was going home (but continued to walk around the restaurant for the remaining hour and a half we remained there). She clearly didn't pass off to the new server, as he had a tough time figuring out the orders. After waiting for the water and second round of drinks 40 mins later, we were told we were being cut off for alcoholic drinks. It was 9:00 pm, and I'd spent a whopping 16 dollars of drinks. We decided to leave after paying for our meals, as there were only two other tables of patrons, and the strange attitudes our servers clearly had from the get-go towards serving alcohol. Maybe don't work in a bar. Probably won't be returning; a shame, as the food was pretty good.

I am very unhappy with their service, and their food. I was so excited to see a new restaurant opening up, and when I got there it was so disappointing. Their food is very cheap, and it defiantly reflects the price. My steak tasted like something you would eat from an airplane. The waitress and manager overheard what I have said about their food to a friend of mine, and totally stopped checking on me after that all of a sudden. I don't know, to avoid providing discount perhaps..The waitress also forgot one thing on the menu and put it on the bill. Good thing I saw it. We also had a coupon and she forgot to apply that too.

First of all went in a bit weary of this place but let me tell you it was quite surprising how good the entire experience was! Right away we were greeted by two people and seated in a spot of our liking then it was our server who was super friendly and also informative! Drinks came quite quickly and were very affordable! Couldn't decide on food so we went with 3 appetizers all of which were made quickly and had great presentation and were all delicious! Then the best part was the bill for 7 drinks and 3 apps was only $65!!!! Needless to say we will be returning regularly ????

I wish there was something lower than a one star. After waiting a long time for my food to arrive, as I was eating my wings I noticed there was a finger nail in them. I was pretty disgusted, and when I let the waitress know she didn’t seem like it was a big deal. The owner then came up to me and all she said was “oh that’s weird let me investigate” and she never came back. The service here is terrible and I’m forever disgusted there was somebodies nasty finger nail in my mouth. Would not recommend coming here.

We have tried Chuck's on Dundas St. and had an enjoyable dinner. So we tried the new one on Hespeler Rd. Will not return as my Beer glass had smuge staines all around the edge and a lipstick stain also. They gave me an exchange but makes me think what else is dirty. Hope this helps.

There were 4 of us in our party and 3 of us had the Wednesday rib special. The other guest had roast beef. The food was terrific and the prices even with the 3% charge were reasonable. Server was a bit uneducated as to the menu and kitchen practices but was super pleasant. The mens bathroom was disgusting. Urine all over the stall walls and floor. Wasn't just from a single person and had accumulated over hours. Will definately be back for the food but the management might want to consider checking the bathrooms a bit more frequently.

Went with my parents and brother for a night out. Server was a space cadet and couldn't figure out what we orderd. 3 times my brother said he wanted a steak with baked potato. But unfortunately they gave him lobster tail (which is fine because it costed more anyway) but she didnt even take off the tail for the fact that not only were the steaks tough but they messed up all the orders with the steaks being undercooked. Then explaining to the waitress that the bill was wrong, the manager didn't even comp one meal for the screw ups nor did he come over and say ANYTHING of what was being discussed. Disgusting service and managerial was very unprofessional with how the situation was handled, we just wanted to know what was going on. There's a curse for restaurants at this location and it seems this will follow the chain of failures. next to filthy mcnasties and drafted Never going back

So.. I walked into the establishment around 915pm. We were greeted with disdain. Then the greeter proceeded to throw the menus at us. A waitress came along and took our rather excessive order, probably in the area of $100 plus tips. Then Miss Greeter confronted one of our guests and accused them of being too inebriated and said they could not serve them. This was untrue and uncalled for and completely disrespectful. Long story short, our party of three decided to spend our hard earned money elsewhere. Zero stars. Would not recommend. Update: after staff slandered my name for blacklisting them, openly bashing me on facebook (I'm a customer), I was then banned from the establishment for speaking the truth. This is how they handle complaints. I would not have returned anyway. I think head office needs to investigate this location. Reviews are terrible. Update: the staff's family members have joined in on the online harassment, as well as I've been told by friends who visited, after the fact, that the MANAGER openly discusses the situation with customers, using derogatory names in reference to myself and my friends. Seriously can't get any more unprofessional than this. They also make staff cry to the point that their parents angrily confront management in store. I could write a novel apparently!

Kids wanted Chucks so we went for dinner before back to school. It wasn’t very busy this time but once again waitress was seen for an order, delivered food and bill. This was our first time at this location. Our server Kyle was fantastic! He seated us promptly and took our drink order. He offered a glass of sprite incase my drink was too strong which it wasn't and was courteous when he took our order. He checked in on us a couple of times which we appreciated. First time here, will definitely be back! Our server was Cassidy, a friendly, efficient, professional young lady with a lovely personality! I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and was very pleased! The beef was thick and tender, and the horseradish and au jus accentuated it beautifully! The fries were thick and golden, the gravy was properly thick! My dad ordered the one piece fish dinner (which he said was one of the best he's ever had!) my mother ordered one of the Skinnylicious salads. Both were very impressed, and we will all be back!

Would give this place a solid c-. Ordered the appetizer platter for $23. It took about 45 minutes to arrive at the table, everything was cold. There was no cheese in the mozzarella sticks and there wasn’t even enough cheese in the quesadilla to kept the chicken inside, and the cheese was very cold and hard. The restaurant is very loud due to the open concept and the kitchen is very slow.

Worst service I've ever seen, and on more than one occasion. Not sure if the bar/wait staff doesn't care or doesn't understand but everyone in the place was left waiting on orders and drinks for way too long. Some people even left after sitting around and no one coming to talk to them. You have to flag down service and then they act like your an inconvenience. Food was decent and the prices can't be beat but I won't be back unless the service changes.

I’ve been to this location a few times now the first time was awful. Service was great ! Our server was super sweet but you can tell she was exhausted and stressed me and my fiancé engaged in conversation with her and asked her if she was feeling okay as she looked like she was about to faint. She said she was fine just a little stressed and then she changed the topic as she asked for our drink order. The drinks took a lil while to get and our server apologized. it wasn’t something to big to piss us off. But when the food came is where my bad experience started. My steak was well under cooked and as was my fiancé’s. We told our server and she sent it back to get cooked again. Then the 2nd time around the steak was still under cooked ! We asked to speak to a manager at this point. We waited and waited and 30 minutes past and no manager. Our server came back to the table to see if we needed something else but we told her we still haven’t seen the manager. She apologized and said she told him to visit the table and she will go and speak to him again. Another 15 mins past and a manager FINALLY came. He asked us what the issue was and as we explained he asked if we wanted it re cooked for the 3rd time ! We declined as we’ve been waiting there for 45 mins at this point. He then shrugged his shoulder and ASKED US what we would like him to do. What kind of business is this !!? The manager was ASKING US what we would Like him to do. Isn’t your job to manage ? I didn’t catch his name but he was Native American. We didn’t end up getting a discount or anything I just paid the bill and we left. I wasn’t planing on returning here but I decided to give it another go with a group of my buddy’s just to get some cheap drinks. When we entered the same manager that clearly does not know how to “ manage” was at the host desk he greeted us but didn’t smile or ask how we were he started to pick up some menus for us but we just continued walking and sat at the bar this time. Sitting at the bar cause I didn’t wanna deal with any bs this time and I just wanted a smooth visit and enjoy a couple of drinks with the boys. Now as we sat there about an hour went by and this red hair girl sat beside us with some guy she was already intoxicated as she was yelling and sluring her words. Now before I get into this we were not ease dropping but it’s hard to not hear something when it is being yelled right beside you. From what we heard this girl worked in the kitchen of chucks she kept saying how hammered she was. I went to go have a smoke and she was outside smoking as well emptying her purse while she had a bunch of empty liquor bottles in it. THEN to top it all off while me and my buddies asked for the bill because we were going to go to a different bar we couldn’t stand being there anymore we over heard her talking about going to do a “bump”.... This is insane !! Every thing that has landed this location has never lasted and I don’t see this place lasting either. Why am I not surprised the kitchen can’t cook my steaks right after hearing that a kitchen staff drinks and possibly does some type of illegal substance on the job! This is disgusting ! You guys serve kids food to ! Worst restaurant experience I have ever had and Me and my friends are still in shock about the things we heard! I will never be coming back here again.

We have had some very good experiences eating at Chucks. Today was somewhat of a mix, my wife's burger was missing bacon, then was well overdone. This could be considered not so great, however we originally expressed the concern for the bacon, but it was also extremely well done. Upon seeing this, the server comp'ed her meal, no getting the manager, nope done. We will be back, it was wrong and the server was empowered to make it right, we will be back.

First time I went was opening week. So I figured the extremely slow service was because of that. They brought us out the wrong order (not ours someone else's) When they did bring our steak, both were wrong. We asked for medium rare got well done. They took it back and we waiting another 25 mins or so for our food to come back out. Again, figured this was just growing pains.. New staff.. Wen't back again, the food was average at best. My steak had some type of sauce on it that wasn't really good. I think they may have picked up the chicken wings someone else ordered at my table and then my streak with the same tongs.. They have to make some improvements if the place is going to last. "honest to goodness fee" is kind of a joke. I guess you get what you pay for. If you want a cheap meal, its is ok.. Just ok..

My husband and I had not eaten out for months due to Covid. We had the opportunity to dine at Chucks and they didn't disappoint. Ribs and wings done to perfection and a loaded potato fresh and hot. Won't be dining here again. After a long wait on the patio (which wasn't busy) and seeing other tables be seated, orders taken, served and then leaving BEFORE our order was even brought out or the server even returned to our table - I had to go inside and ask for our order to be checked on. Miraculously the food was brought out immediately. I was disappointed to find my steak, potatoes and corn all cold, it seemed like it had sat for awhile. I addressed this with the server who admitted to me our order was put in late, and that it did sit but I appreciated she took ownership of that and offered to have it remade so I could take it to go as my table mates had finished eating. After another 10-15 mins thinking my food was being made, the manager who I've personally seen several times drinking while working (as a Crabby Joe's and a chuck's) RUDELY brought my same plate back out to me stating its a perfectly cooked steak and he "can't make it any pinker". That wasn't even the issue, my food was cold and not satisfactory. If I wanted to "just heat it up" I'd have taken it home myself and done so but seeing as I was paying for it and its gross to serve food that has sat under a heat lamp for some time (which by how cold my food was obviously isn't working). He also had a mask that didn't fit properly that he took down to speak to me and then leaned in right at my face - I am pregnant and the whole point of a mask is that it fits you and completely covers your nose and mouth. I work in the medical field and have to wear one all day - the protocol of mask isn't followed properly here. After feeling offended and spoken to so rudely we asked for the bill so we could just leave - which also took forever. The manager has zero people skills and should not be addressing tables if that's how he is going to speak to them - and if my server could admit those things to me but clearly not the manager there are some serious issues here. STAY AWAY

A clean welcoming restaurant for Travellers exiting the Queen Elizabeth Highway, to and from, the US. Inexpensive good prices $$ and a easy to read menu. Definitely 4 stars for me.

We had a party of 11 up for a funeral, Saturday night we called in a reservation around 4pm for 6-630pm (as per the day time manager) we showed up to the restaurant at 610pm, and low and behold they could t accommodate us for 25 minutes. And that came with the stipulation of sitting on the high tables on the bar side we had 7 adults and 4 children between the ages of 4 and 11. The young women trying to help us informed us that the day time manager failed to write in the book. To add to the frustration a party was in just before us and was seated, I would recommend going to Chucks in Napanee they are very unorganized. We had tried the night before but it was an hour wait ( we didn’t make a reso, hence why we thought we did this time) it’s a shame because the family was looking forward to enjoy a meal there. You win some and you lose some, this restaurant lost two nights in a row.

Sirlion steak was edible, all five bites. the lobster tail looked like it came off a crayfish from the Grand River, so small and tasteless they should have just kept it. ordered fries and no corn, got corn and no fries. didnt think I had to check a takeout order, but I guess that is my bad. not likely to return

I went here excited to try this for the first time. Waited at the door for 5 minute without being helped. Finally proceeded to the bar to order a dish to go, but the bartender and waitress weren't sure the dish I wanted was a to go dish. They were both sure it "probably " wasn't available but neither were willing to go confirm. So now I will not go back to even attempt to order something from them as it would "probably " be to much of a hassle to expect anyone to actually try to help you.

Went there the other day on the patio shortly after the new opening of the COVID-19 restrictions. Was throughly disappointed. We even called before and tried to order, and were told that a bunch of things on their TAKEOUT menu weren't for takeout. It is also clearly understaffed. This point is much more important. They have one worker who must clean bathrooms on the hour, wipe down every table after customers and before, watch the door for people waiting to be seated, bring out the food, wash and bring in all the dishes, wait on the tables, and who knows what else. I seriously feel bad for this presumably minimum wage worker. They seriously need someone else present so they can divide these tasks. While I was there a fight broke out in the patio while the worker was doing something in the back, and the customers had to deal with everything that was happening on the patio between the two groups of customers. It wasn't until a customer went into the back to find the employee that he came out. At this point one customer was threatening to swing a glass beer pitcher and I quote, "crack [another customers] skull open". This is clear reason to have more than one person in my opinion. Say this fight actually escalated to the point where he did in fact hit the person, that could have resulted in serious brain injury or bodily harm. And if it wasn't for the customers taking action to deescalate the situation it would have broken into actual fighting. Just this situation alone is an indicator that this poor employee working by themselves needs someone else there helping them out. Hopefully someone sees this, like an owner or something and actually takes action to support their staff like they should be doing already.

I've never seen so many people so into not making money and wanting to take tables, like c'mon if you're that weeded over a couple tables that you can't even greet anyone else then you should have more staff on. "Manager" had to serve my table, I put that in quotation because he far from acted like one. Terrible service but whatever you get what you pay for. ONE thing that was just disgusting was my beer glass, haha pathetic. It looked like they just we're to busy to clean it before using it again. Once I told the manager all he said was "um sorry, I'll take that as feed back". Ive never made a review but this place deserved it. Btw Erin Mills area is pretty good, go to that one if you can.

This a one of my go to places for lunch. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The fries with the food is almost always way past hold time but they are replaced everytime with no issues. They also made a mistake on one of the dishes which the server did catch before bringing it to the table but it resulted in 3/4 of us eating together and the other person getting their food after we were almost done our meal. I have never experienced anything this bad before, even for a new restaurant. What was going to be a quick bite to eat ended up being over 2 hours of waiting...for drinks and food. It took forever. My drink was forgotten. My main dish was forgotten and never received. My son ordered a burger which was not fully cooked, not acceptable for a kid's dinner. Overcharged for a drink. Also, once the food was delivered never seen our waitress again, no one checked to see how things were, had to go track down a ketchup bottle for my son's burger and fries. Never had a chance to ask where my food was. Ate the nachos which was supposed to be an app. Empty plates not cleared. Finally got the bill and left. Noticed the table next to us, they wrongly cooked a steak, took it back and never brought it out again, they had to ask for it. Never again! UPDATE: Chuck's roadhouse did follow up with the issues and will forward it to the Brantford location.

Horrible experience. Met my mother here for dinner. I had the Montreal smoked meat sandwich and my mom had the fish and chips. We also had the spinach dip as a starter. Besides being cold, the starter wasn’t bad. My mother’s fish was clearly a piece of frozen or pre cooked fish. Barely any batter and a horrible taste. Not to mention the film on the tartar sauce that clearly showed it was sitting out for an extended period of time. Yuck. My Montreal sandwich was also terrible. The meat was over cooked around the edges like it had sat under a heat lamp or similar and the bread was soggy. The fries were also absolutely terrible. We let the waitress know and she said sorry and walked away. We are less than a 3rd of our meals and asked for the bill. She brought it out with full charge for everything. We paid and she came back with our change. We expressed once again how unsatisfactory our meals were and she said sorry and began to walk away. That’s when my mother spoke up and asked if she had let the manager or kitchen know. She said “ I can get him to come out if you want”. At that point we’re to upset and turned off of the establishment so we said forget it and left. What an absolutely horrible experience. When you’re in customer service, you should have an ability to recognize when things are going completely wrong. You should also have the knowledge of when to bring it to your managers attention. This being said, we will not be returning and I will give my honest opinion of Chucks anytime anyone asks.

The experience was quite mixed. There is a nice atmosphere and we were seated quickly and the hostess had a smile and was child friendly. The appetizer and kids meals arrived promptly and the portion size was reasonable. The two adult meals took forever and we ended up asking where the food was. Two other tables who came after us had their meals before us. My steak was cooked as I asked but it was at best warm and certainly not hot. We arrived just before noon and it was after 1:40 by the time we were out the door, this was not satisfactory. Also there is an ill defined 3% surcharge tacked onto the bill. So overall the food was ok but the service was marginal and having low prices and then adding a surcharge seems a bit questionable.

Last night we came in for a birthday party there were quite a few of us. We all live in Oakville and love our local Chucks. Last night the table beside us was a large group and were absolutely a nightmare for us to be beside the one woman was screaming at the poor manager as she would not allow them to put a table by the patio door due to a fire code. This woman was ranting and raving that she was going to create a bunch of google accounts and give a bunch of 1 star ratings if she did not get her way! We also found out from a server that they originally booked for 20 people and showed up with 35++ plus people and expected the restaurant to accommodate them by giving them our tables the nerve of this woman! I felt so bad for the manager as the woman kept threatening her and the other staff about google reviews! Today out of curiosity I checked google and see that she did what she said she would do and create a bunch of fake google reviews and slandered the restaurant. If it means anything at all, my family and I were there and none of what this wanna be barbie said is true we witnessed the food going out before ours, we witnessed the manager refilling drinks and clearing the table as well as the other servers. you can tell these people are low class and are clearly not from Oakville!

Wish I could give it a no star rating. Service was slow and terrible. Food was mediocre at best! Don’t be fooled by the prices on menu because somehow with extras and substitutions it cost $75 anyways. It was mid afternoon, we were sat right away but waited 30-40 mins for drinks and an hour for food- my wife wanted to walk out. The roashouse chicken was supposed to be 2 breasts, but looked more like leftovers. The steaks were severely over cooked and when we mentioned it to waitress, she shrugged her shoulders. And to top it all off, our waitress was visibly sick- coughing in her sleeve and wiping nose at bar- stay home when your sick!!

First time I’ve been to a chucks roadhouse was last night and it was great. We had a little business meeting there and we were at the table for about 4 hours and the waitress couldn’t have been nicer. The food was fantastic and we ordered 3 steaks that tasted very good. I got the bill and thought she forgot something because it was so cheap but she didn’t it was just fantastic. You can not beat those prices. $54 for 3 steaks and a couple pops. I will come back here for a long time

I would not even give this restaurant one star. Absolutely terrible!! We ordered our food tonight. Nachos, cheeses sticks, and spinach dip. When we arrived the food was sitting out on the bar!! When we got home the nachos were so cold like they had just come out of the fridge, the cheese sticks were stale like they had sat out for two days and not to mention actually missing CHEESE. The spinach dip portion size is so small, maybe a 1/4 cup!! And the bread so so stale was like eating rocks!! This restaurant seriously lacks in their food, as well as customer service. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwhich which consisted of a long submarine type bun with 2 chicken fingers on it. Basically one chicken finger per half. The bun wasn't toasted or warm. It was all bun with a slice of tomato, some lettuce and a chicken finger. I told the manager that for $10 this is not a buffalo chicken sandwich. It was a chicken finger on some bread. She indictated there have been some issues with this meal and they are in the process of changing it. I was told I would receive a 50% discount on my meal . After we finished eating, a dessert was delivered to our table which the waitress said was complimentary. While thoughtful, I can't eat ice cream so it was a somewhat futile effort and to add insult to injury, I was charged for this dessert I didn't ask for. Until Chucks smarten up, they have lost a fairly regular customer. Very unimpressed since they changed owners. Won't be going back. Don't recommend it at all.

Been to a few locations and always a great time at Chuck's! Yummy food, great service with very attentive and friendly servers. I remember the first time we visited this location, the GM came to our table to personally greet us. Also, they have good deals after 9pm, 1/2 price apps! This location is also great because it's super close to Film.ca, so you can easily catch a movie before/after your meal.

1st visit food took almost an hour and came over cooked, wife wanted medium rare steak and it came well, I ordered medium rare steak and a lobster tail. The steak came slightly under well and the tail was like rubber. 2nd chance we had burgers, they were dry and had the consistency of burgers that had been cooked previously, frozen then re-heated, the french onion soup had very little flavour and my bun was hard. iIf that isn't bad enough what the he## is this "Honest to Goodness Fee" of 3% when the food isn't even very good. I told the manager it was not a government implemented tax and I didn't want to pay it. He said there was nothing he could about it and walked away. There are plenty of others places to eat thank goodness.

This was the worst service I've ever received in a dining establishment. Will not return to this location. I don't recommend you do either after an altercation with the manager. I met up with some friends after work for dinner, all of them were starving having just performed on a wrestling show. When we were seated we weren't asked for drinks. When a server finally came over we ordered drinks and food. Four Garlic Cheese Breads Steak & Lobster w/ Mashed Potatoes Steak & Lobster w/ Side Salad Porter House w/ Fries Porter House w/ Loaded Fries Chuck's Cut w/ Fries A Dirty Martini Two Diet Cokes. Our server walked away and came back only moments later to double check that he had everything right. No drinks came. Apps came. Still no drinks. Food started to come out and this is where it all went off the rails. No loaded fries came. No mashes potatoes came. No side salad came. I was served a steak and lobster, and when I said this isn't what I ordered I was asked to have it, and only be charged for the Chuck's Cut. I'm allergic to shellfish, so I sent it back. Still no drinks. When my Chuck's cut finally came, there was still lobster on it, even though I had JUST told them of the allergy. This time the manager came over and I told him to just forget it I'll take my business elsewhere. He then proceeded to put his hands on my shoulder, which is not okay, and tried to apologise for the service, and offer me food. I said forget it, all my friends had already eaten, so to not worry about it. At this point we were all very displeased and upset with the service. Still no drinks. Once everyone had finished their meals, our came the mashed potatoes, loaded fries and side salads. This is unacceptable that these took forever. Finally after that, one of the patrons at our table went up to the bar to aos about the drinks, and still 5-10 mins later, the drinks came. We spoke with the manager and said that the service was absolutely terrible, that with all of the mistakes and terrible service that we weren't going to pay, and that we'd leave a tip for the kitchen because despite the incompetence of the wait staff and management the kitchen isn't at fault. When we left the manager followed us outside and proceeded to scream and berate us over the fact that he would be out of pocket for money, this is where it gets real, real bad. As we're leaving he then takes pictures of us and threatens us by saying "you don't know who you're dealing with" and begins getting agressivly in our faces cursing at us. Saying the service was not that bad, despite him putting his hands of me and making my feel uncomfortable, and trying to serve me lobster after I was pretty clear about an allergy. This is an embarrassment to your establishment, and has left the worst taste in my mouth, and the five others I was with. The manager refused to give me his name. As long as he is working there, I will never step foot back into that restaurant, and I used to eat there at least once a week. Never in my life have I experienced such a poor job of handling a situation that was caused by laughable service.

The bartender and servers are amazing...but we went Tuesday October 1st and my steak came out medium to well done when I ordered a medium rare. I explained to the server she had no problem taking it back. The cook then handed her a guide I showed her medium rare (which mine was not) then the manager came out and said if I want medium rare I should order rare and wasn't done in a nice manner. I am a steak eater and shouldn't have to order rare to get medium rare...so I guess if someone wants medium to well done they need to order medium rare. The manager should have corrected it and apologized not argue with me saying you need to order rare to get medium rare. if your cook can't cook a medium rare steak they shouldn't be in the kitchen. The manager is rude and I will not go back just based on that experience alone. He is not manager material.

I went to Chucks reluctantly with may family, I was not surprised at the terrible food. I have two, almost adult children, and a husband, each were unhappy with their meals. I ordered chicken that was so dry I couldn't even cut it. So disappointed that Brockville brought yet another chain restaurant that does not serve our community well. The only disappointment I have in this place is that the menu is so limited. Chucks roadhouse is not crabby Joe's and that's something I have to accept. That being said. Their food is extremely affordable, and their alcohol is much cheaper as well. The people here are wonderful. The manager takes a personal hand in running the store, and the servers are all extremely nice. I've been here multiple times and everyone is always great to me. I suggest this store for a good evening out.

Was looking forward to eating here again, big mistake drink order was taken quickly then nothing for 15mins. Drinks came ceaser had nothing in it no celery, lime or bean. It has been a long time since I’ve had such poor service that I’m going out of my way to leave a bad review and the person responsible here is the manager, I will explain why. When we sat down to order I explicitly mentioned that I have a gluten allergy and when I ordered french onion soup I was sure to mention for it not to include any bread. After we all ordered and waited a very long time for our food in the not busy restaurant (around 2 pm), all our food came at once, instead of appetizers first then the meal. My mom noticed right away that my soup had croutons in it so we had to send it back, and after another while the same soup returned without croutons but also without any of the cheese on top. At that point I just said to take the soup off the bill and that I will not be eating it because I didn’t know if there were any pieces of bread left instead of bringing me a new soup. When it came to getting and paying the bill it took probably another 15 minutes! All because this manager was trying to take the soup off of our bill, it really shouldn’t take so long. This whole experience was quite disturbing and ridiculous. This will be the first and last time that my family eats at this restaurant.

I believe it was some of the kitchen staff at the bar having a drink. They started using obscenities and arguing with my friends and I for celebrating the leafs win. I just order from here using skip the dishes. The prices on skip the dishes doesn't match their actual menu so beware. That said the food was not good, I had the buffalo chicken fingers and my wife had the bacon medallion. The fingers had a walmart quality to the chicken, and the sauce tasted like it was 70% cornstarch; all the fries where stale and hard as rocks. The steak was cooked correctly however the cut of meat was very low grade, almost tasted like the medallions you get a zehrs when you buy 6 medallions for 10 dollars. Three times I have here and each time I order a steak medium well I each time it has been raw to rare very rare, they have asked is my steak okay I said no but I'll eat it. I went to Chuck's on Saturday night with my daughter's hockey team. We had a reservation for 7:45pm for 35 people. We were seated but without menus until 8pm when I finally got tired of waiting and asked the hostess to bring them to us. We had 1 server assigned for 35 people. She did an amazing job on her own, but she should've had some help. It took a long time for our food to come (over an hour). When it did arrive, I was so hungry I started eating right away. A few minutes later I noticed that the chicken on my salad was only partially cooked. Some people in our group were still waiting for food and our server was busy rushing back and forth from the kitchen, so I set the chicken aside and continued eating my salad. When everyone was served and our server finally resurfaced, I showed her the raw chicken. She said she would get her manager to come over. The manager came over 5 minutes later asking what the problem was. I showed her the raw chicken. She said she could get me a new piece of chicken. Since I'd already eaten the majority of my salad, I asked for chicken wings instead. She said she couldn't do that. Someone else at my table spoke up and insisted that she could. We had been waiting a very long time for food and she didnt seem to care that we were not happy. She did eventually agree to it, but not without giving us a lot of attitude. When my wings finally arrived everyone else was already paying, so I took them to go. My bill came with the salad credited and the wings billed at full price, despite being after 9pm when they were half price. Eventually I had it adjusted but it shouldn't have been that hard. The manager there has very little regard for not only her customers, but her wait staff as well. I sure as heck wouldn't want to work for someone like that! I would NOT recommend this Chuck's Roadhouse to anyone.

Saw an ad for this restaurant and was excited to learn there was one close by ..., utter disappointment, no one at the entrance to seat leaving you to wonder if you were to seat yourself or wait ( no signs saying please wait to be seated). Once seated (we were there early 530pm Sunday) the restaurant was less than half full and we waited 15 minutes for anyone to even approach us to ask us if we wanted a beverage. Finally when we did have a server approach to ask us if we would like a drink we asked how long it may take to receive our meal and we were told more than half an hour. Not trusting the already bad service we just got up and left. Waste of time, won’t be back. The one star is for the restaurant that appeared clean.

What a disappointment!! Arrived just before 5pm on a Monday to try to beat the rush but had to ask for our bill after waiting over an hour for our meal. The owner came over to place blame on our waitress for not explaining that it would be a long wait due to being a newly opened restaurant. He showed no ownership in trying to make it right for us and continued to tell us that even if we stay and wait for our food we wouldn’t get a discount or have it taken off our bill. We decided to get the bill and leave! He never came back to the table to apologize instead he sent the waitress over with our bill where we found a hidden fee which was “The honest to goodness fee” at 3%. Get what you pay for simple as that. Steak was small and was still very hungry after. My buddy had to return his ribs TWICE so that they were warm through the core and surprise even the second time back to the kitchen they were still cold on the bone so he gave up. It’s a cheap meal compared to other places and you will know right away by the quality. If your budget is paper thin, it might be okay.

We went to chucks on a Saturday night to try the new place in town we had a wait but that was to be expected. We ordered a fairly simple order wings and nachos. Nachos were small and underwhelming most toppings just on top. The wings were ok no better than you could get anywhere else but the clincher was that they refused to mix two wing sauces....seriously we wanted honey garlic and hot and the kitchen flat out refused. We spoke to the manager who proceeded to blame his waitress... news flash to the management YOU are responsible for training your staff and you dont offer them as the excuse for any problems your customers experience. I forsee lots of turn over...and honest to goodness...we wont be back

This location in Brockville was fantastic. The staff was great attentive helpful. The beer is extremely cheap, mostly domestic brands, the food is average but the price will makes up for it. Like come on six bucks for a hamburger! Cost more money to eat at McDonald's. Location is very busy and rightfully so they have a fairly good menu and drink options. I would recommend this to anybody. Keep in mind because of the popularity of the location and how busy they get sometimes the server's get a little swamped and things can slow down a little bit. All the staff tries very hard and you can't beat the beer prices

Slow service, sub par food, not clean (restaurant or bathroom)... An extra tax called "Honest to goodness fee" which is 3% added to your bill. I questioned this and was told they charge this so they can keep the food prices down. Ummmm, really? That is not cool 'Chuck'! In fact that is rather disgusting and sneaky... We will not dine at any Chuck's again... we dine out frequently and have not been this disappointed in a very long time.

Food and drinks are high quality and cheap! My friends and I went after 9 and got the spinach cheese dip, 2 pounds of wings and the salted garlic butter. All of the food was great, I highly reccomend coming here

Long wait for food. Short staffed. Mediocre food-but good portions. Feel sorry for the wait staff-they were" stretched thin". Will go back.
