This is a very nice theatre. The main rooms seats win for most comfortable in a theatre ever. Views are all fantastic.
Always a great evening at the Rose Theatre! Friendly, helpful and very clean!
Brampton has a very beautiful theater, in a very good location and always an interesting repertoire.
What a fabulous venue to watch a show. The seating is very intimate and the sound quality is absolutely amazing. The ushers and the bar staff are also very friendly.
Lovely soft sweater theater open again with covid protocols in place
Because I perform there.????

Support local arts! This is a great venue that often plays smaller shows (though it doesn't advertise them all). I highly recommend seeing a smaller production over their usual lineup. I find them more interesting performances.
Never a bad seat in the house, amazing shows, great prices and venue has parking on-site and underground
Great venue, excellent sound, not a bad seat in the house (the picture is taken from the last row of the mezzanine). The bartenders are very fast and effective. They turned around the entire crowd before the end of intermission. However this is not a venue where people stand and sing along. If you are looking for that experience, this isnt it.
Excellent place to see a play or concert. Comfortable seats. Good choice of food and drinks.
Great facility
This is an excellent venue for any show. We saw a Led Zeppelin show here as well as George Carlin. Pretty much every seat in the house is great in this quaint yet contemporary theatre. A renowned cellist I know who has played some of the world's greatest places has praised the Rose Theatre for what he says is "perfect acoustics." That endorsement was more than I needed to love the place!
went to the theatre recently and loved it! the place is so clean and upgraded. service is great
Excellent concert. Phenomenemal staff at front of house and AV folks were superb!
Seeing Little Shop of Horrors was so much fun. We felt safe with the protocols in place and the theatre is lovely.
Always something to do at The Rose. Friday nights are free concerts in the square, lots of fun. Always coming up with new events to entertain the downtown crowd. Something for everyone on the main stage, and more intimate events in the studio theatre. The hidden gem in the heart of Brampton.
The Rose is one of the most beautiful theatres in Canada, and features performances by world class artists.
High end theatre feel in a quaint downtown setting. Quality architecture and service from staff/volunteers. Never had had a bad experience and always there's great sound and lighting quality. Look for theatre discounts at local restaurants.
My first experience here and it was really really good. The venue looks great and the team from Brampton Music Theatre put on an awesome show. Will be going back.
Went to see Mini Pops live with my little girl. She loved it! We had 4th row seating and didn't miss a beat. Show was great, theatre is clean. A little unorganized start because the Ticket Scanner was not working but other then that very good show.
Good place nice seating and very well set-up. When there for first time for my son's performance and I really liked it also I was amazed by how the gallery is set up. Private view for family's.
We came to Brampton from Cambridge to see the Gin Blossoms. I've never been to the rose theatre and I was very impressed! The seats were comfy, the sound was great and the staff were very nice. I would definitely return to see another show!
Friendly staff and easily accessible. Nice, clean atmosphere.
Great Theater! I recent;y saw a show and the person who had our tickets was late meeting me. the staff let me stand inside out of the cold with my two little ones and then as we got close to curtain they were able to reprint the tickets so that we didnt miss the opening.
Beautiful venue for any event. Went on a charity event night and all space was utilize from the lobby, to the first floor, and second floor, and into the auditorium. Spacious, clean, and sophisticated structure. Outside the theatre, there is a grand gathering space for the big screen tv and chair and patio set .
It was amazing experience. I was there to attend a singing program. The event was organized by our own community. It was good place to visit and to arrange function.
Cozy, intimate venue. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Free parking. Comfy seats with ample leg room. Even at the back of the first level, we never felt like we were too far away from seeing the performers.
Beautiful theatre with great acoustics. Saw a fantastic production of Little Shop Of Horrors mounted by Brampton Music Theatre. All precautions were taken regarding COVID; proof of vaccination was checked at the door, seats were spaced out appropriately, paper programs were not handed out instead there was a QR code to download a digital file. I felt very comfortable being there and it was my first time out at a public event since the pandemic hit. All of the front of house staff were professional and courteous. A really great experience. So nice to be able to see live performances again in a safe, controlled way. And I really lovely place to see them in.
Great smaller sized theater keeps everyone close to the show. Convenient parking under the venue was even free if you're leaving after 7 pm.
This was my first time to The Rose Theatre & was a very enjoyable evening. We saw Finger Eleven & I Mother Earth. Seating was good, small venue so it was a very cool being close to the stage.
Beautiful venue. Food services were very good and very tasty . Big event for Policaro Group.
An excellent community theatre. Hosts many touring shows as well. Outdoor movie nights in the summers
Classy place. A real ROSE in Brampton without the thorns ????
A beautiful theater in downtown Brampton. Great line up shows
This place is beautiful and not a bad seat in the house! Parking is easy in the underground garage.
I love this theater. I have seen almost a dozen shows and get the same front row seats every time. The ushers are all very kind, and the productions are always well done. The theater is clean, and none of the prices are too bad.
Unfortunately I don't have many friends interested in the arts, but I've been to the Rose theatre quite a few times to see everything from Musicals, Comedy, Dance, and Concerts and I've never been disappointed. Tickets are easy to get online and the staff there are so nice!
Great stage, big change rooms, nice back stage area. It is always a pleasure dancing at the Rose for my year and recitals
Beautiful intimate atmosphere...I think any seats are a great vantage point of stage
I just got back from seeing the musical Mamma Mia. It was exceptionally good especially the voice of Donna. she was absolutely phenomenal. When ordering tickets I would suggest you avoid the first third of the K aisle. it's located just behind the sound and light coordinators of the show. The Rose Theater in General is a very comfortable warm theatre to watch any production...... it's good to see that Brampton (or area) has excellent local talent to put on a very good professional show like Mamma Mia
Lovely venue in the heart of the city. Convenient and ample parking. Great price.
Always a pleasure to visit the Rose Theatre. This time for the Brampton Ontario Mayoral Candidates debate. I was gobsmacked by Patrick Brown's good performance re issues Vs slogans. And let down by Mayor Jeffrey's personal sliming attempt that got loud booing and adroit pivot from Brown back to ISSUES. Hugs ISH.
Very nice venue for seeing a show. Comfy seats all with a good, or at least decent, view of the stage. The bar is a tad lame but on the plus sir there is a complimentary coat check and lots of parking.
Great place to watch a show.
Excellent theater..Great sound... under ground parking, l believe free after hours and weekend.
Such theatrical experience! Great place for stage performances
Saw the Chieftains, theatre was nice and staff very helpful
Relatively small, state-of-the-art performance venue. Equipped for a wide variety of shows, good acoustics, comfortable seating even with a packed house.
Good sound. Nice size ( like not too big). Photo is taken by me just before joining Sharon and Bram on stage for their final concert. They have officially retired after 40 years of children's entertainment.
All seats are good where ever you sit. Decent sound quality. Usual concession stand. Friendly staff Easy check-in. Coat check available. Theater seats are normally spaced like theater seats. But i wasn't cramped. Put on a great show enjoyed my time.
World class theatre, great view from all seats. Seats are comfy, ample leg room, friendly staff.
Best place for shows in heart of Brampton.
A great theatre to watch shows or plays at in Brampton. Very clean and still has that 'new' look to it. The staff are very nice and helpful as well.
Great venue and staff. Excellent sound. highly recommend you see a show or comedy show here if you haven't already
Fantastic place to watch a good show. Watched Kim Mitchell tonight and it was amazing. The Rose is a great venue with superior acoustics.
What a gem of a venue! Brampton has certainly charged over the years - and this is one of the value-adding additions. It's a comfortable, nicely sized space. We really enjoyed Jackie Richardson and colleagues in December, and we'll be back.
Very good facilities watching final game with big three tvs, which were provided by the city.
A very cozy and comfortable theatre with friendly and helpful staff. I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. Has to be the best small theatre I have ever been too!
Theatre currently closed but remarkable space within the heart of Brampton downtown with much to see and view around.
Amazingly articulate place with a very busy town built around it? Very nice.
Able to bring your drinks to your seat.. hooray!!! The Wall was great just like the previous time. Incredible musicians!
Awesome theatre - nice seating design, can see the stage from various different seats. Loads of parking (underground), but quite tedious to get out of after a show.
I took my son to see NEWSIES, great show. the seats are uncomfortable but the venue is nice and clean
Went there to meet one of my favourite authors and it was great. Will go back for another event
My fav theatre. Seen quite a few shows here and they are always good. Lots of underground parking, customer servise is awesome
beautiful good sound and atmosphere
This is a great location for a public event. Visited for Hometown Hockey and it was amazing. Lots of space and close proximity to the Brampton Transit terminal.
I have gone to the Rose theater a few times and every time I am blown away by the experience. Staff are always polite courteous and helpful when ever I go. The shows are always entertaining and I can wait for the next time I come back.
It's a brilliant gem with wonderful acoustics that teases ur senses
Good sized theatre. If you sit in the balcony avoid front row as the railing can block view of stage
Great Indian classical experience in beautiful Rose theatre, welcoming n courteous staff. It was Amjad Ali Khan Indian classical instrument Sarod maestro, accompanying with two sons. It was a great experience listening to Sarod legend. Played raag Kedar, his own composition Ganesha and concluded with desh raag.
Saw part of The FOLD here. Amazing experience, beautiful theatre.
Good experience with Lakhwinder Wadali live show on 07 Oct,2018 at rose Theater.
We enjoyed our family time watching Emily Forsyth in the mama mia play. The play was so well done and it was a nice venue for all ages as you can see by the picture. The Rose was very clean and the people were friendly. I would recommend this as a great way to spend a day with someone you enjoy being with.
"B" level shows but a beautiful theatre downtown.
I went and saw Little Shop of Horrors and I was blown away! Not only was the performance amazing but the theater was just as good. Amazing sight lines friendly staff and great COVID organization. Overall an amazing experience i highly suggest
Great community theater. Staff running the place are really amazing people. They do a great job at making you feel comfortable.
The ideal combination of a large event venue, that is at the same time close and intimate, with good seating.
Love this theatre. And Choir Choir Choir was a ton of fun.
Went to see a comedy performance and had a great time. Staff was attentive and friendly. Parking was free, always a bonus.
Gorgeous Theatre in the downtown square li in the heart of Brampton. Walling distance from some great restaurants that are just a couple small blocks away.
The Rose Theater in Brampton is very good. It is clean and the Staff are courteous. The Parking in the underground was free for the Audience of the Concert. The Acoustic Sound is good. The price of the Tickets are also very reasonable.
A great and intimate venue!
Very convenient location. Comfortable seats, a big enough stage, very polite and helpful staff.
Have been here many times with our school. Always we'll organized.
The sound, the seating, the price, the choice of shows and the fun of meeting the performer after tbe show! Matt Dusk and his band were awesome❤
Been to a number of dance competitions here over the years. Theatre is very nice, with decent seating and a lovely lobby. Could be more dressing rooms though - when hosting a dance competition with several hundred people it gets very cramped. They have been willing to adapt based on peoples' comment though and shuffled around changing areas to give us more rehearsal space.
Clean environment.friendly and helpful staff. But limited change tables for babies , you need to go to handicap washroom only to change your babie's diaper.
I love this theatre... I have been front row, I've been in a box, been in the lower area and I've been front row on the balcony. There hasn't been a bad seat in the house yet. Then there is the environment outside during the summer it's great to sit around especially during the NBA finals for Jurassic Square Brampton....
Nice theater. All seats have a great view. Lots of places to eat and two ice-cream venues close by. A two block walk to Gage Park. A good selection of performers and a great staff.
Great location, free parking, comfy seats, and well stocked bar and refreshments. Stage is spacious and acoustics are fantastic. Sloan delivered a great show!!
Beautiful theatre. Wonderful, fun performance of Hairspray. Everything was excellent.
Downtown Brampton is extremely quiet. Most restaurants and stores closed. Some banks are open with limited tellers. Rose Theater and Gage park is closed. Stay home and go out for the essentials ???????????????? ????♂️ ????
Wonderful theatre. Great dressing rooms for performers.
Sharon and Brams last show. Was very good. Glad we got to be part of their history
Very nice venue and excellent Orchestra.
Lovely venue. I work multiple events a year here and always first rate.
Beautiful theater. Saw a Broadway Show in August. Enjoy it very much. The seats we were in ; were prefect for viewing. All fabulous.
A very nice theater located in downtown brampton!
Every year I am impressed by the staff at the Rose Theater. They work hard from coat check to info to pull off immaculate occasions.
Very nice loved the legends of reggae another good show with stellar performances
The Rose is a great venue, not only for entertainment but for business events as well. Studio 2 can be configured as a lecture hall, small entertainment venue or meeting venue. I've attended events in each of the configurations and found it to be a great space with few drawbacks. The sound, lighting & heating is good in the space. Plus the lobby is terrific for mingling.
The threatre was so good..nice experience ????????????????????
Awesome venue, great sound and friendly staff
An amazing theatre in the heart of Brampton. Great acoustics. It does not matter where you sit, you still have a great view of the stage.
I am a songwriter and everytime I have a chance to perform here I'm impressed with the professionalism and organization of the staff. I never used to care to perform in Brampton because not only were there not many opportunities, but the organization of live music events was sub-par. Since the Rose has started their outdoor stage and hosting more local artists, it has quickly become my favourite venue. Even with COVID they have adapted quickly and now provide amazing live stream services. Can't wait to be back!
The staff are very organized and well prepared for multiple schools arriving for the same show! They are also very friendly and patient as well as observant for guests with special needs. Great job guys!
Great event venue. Plenty of underground parking attached to the theatre. Concession available inside. Spacious lobby area and 2 sets of restrooms. Theatre seats are comfortable and roomy. Lovely sound system. Overall a great place to enjoy a show.
I had the worst experience! My daughter was in the Joanne Chapman School of Dance June 20 ,2019 and I’m usually so busy and never can attend that much ! Tonight i arrived at 6:30pm with the rest of my family and went outside to park the car because parking was terrible ! I returned to the entrance at 7:03 pm 3 min into the start of the show to the Orchestra Row and was turned away by some grumpy older lady door guard who told me the rule is you cant come back in once your out until intermission which is an hour later ! I was furious and was told to sit upstairs and watch . She directed to me to her manager Barry : this guy pretty much said the same thing .. terrible old people rules .. anyway ! Lucky i didn’t have to go to the bathroom .. stupid people stupid rules !! Never again .. probably should buy the theatre , fire everyone and turn it into a better parking lot for the rest of us ! 0 stars !!
Amazing place for a great evening...went there for the first time and learnt a lot...Thanks to Beate... Also, amazing hospitality shown by Tom, the manager as he gave us a brief and informative tour of the main orchestra hall which seats 868 patrons. Would recommend everyone to go visit it once and don't forget to say thanks to the staff as they all do a wonderful job to make your experience truly memorable.
Wonderful show with Mark Masri. Friendly and helpful staff. Good ambiance.
Brampton's excellent venue for showcasing talent and community events! From musicians to musicals from drama to comedy to community art and events the Rose Theater has all the magic it needs to entertain. The theater resides in what used to be an old parking lot that now sings from the heart of Brampton. Check out the outside theater during the summer months while also enjoying the Farmer's Market in the front square. See movies on the big screen TV!
Beautiful theatre. Great staff. Parking is free after 7 and on weekends. If you take a parking ticket but leave after 7 you don't need to pay. The gates are usually up but if they aren't just put the ticket in and the gate will open.
Saw the Wiggles with my daughter. Loved it! Great venue, great service!
Everything was elegant except the bar staff. The play started before getting served. They had no lids for coffee and even people who ordered earlier didn't have it. The cashier gave me half empty cups of coffee and refused to fill it saying it is busy and we helped 500 people although most the people didn't buy anything. Really!!! That's the level of service in theater!!!
Beautiful venue in the heart of downtown Brampton serving up top entertainment and culture
Good place...
Saw the Wiggles here and loved the venue. Parking is great first hour free, a $1.00 an hour and free after 7:00.
Love this place. Try to see as many shows that interest me as I can. Not a bad seat in the house.
Great venue, not a bad seat in the place. Staff are helpful and friendly. Parking is conveniently underground however it can be quite busy trying to get in to the garage on a performance night.
Seen 2 shows here. Love the atmosphere
I had box seats. To see Graham Nash. Was my first visit there Beautiful theatre all good seats, no real food there though, Just snacks. But they are licensed, and you drinks can go to your seats. I would definitely go back, good acoustics
Great place- liked in first visit. Though Poor signage within the lobby; specially for washrooms...etc.
We always enjoy shows there.. there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Definately picking up some tix for upcoming shows
Saw Abbamania. Excellant show. Comfortable venue.
One of the best experiences I have had! Very friendly staff and great volunteers. Very clean and comfortable chairs. Would have rated 7 if it was available. Definitely coming back for more.
Great venue with amazing shows and talent. No seat is bad.
Rose Theatre has been able to reopen as a rehearsal space. A core group of Rose Orchestra musicians resumed rehearsals yesterday, March 10, 2021 to prepare a program to be recorded Saturday, March 27, 2021. Hurray! Public health protocols were in place. I think everyone has adjusted to living with requirements like wearing a mask, keeping social distance, and not eating or drinking in a public space that it should be a safe and comfortable environment for people in the arts to slowly get back to business and for our audiences to enjoy live performances again.
Amazing venue for concerts, stand-up comedy and events .
First time ever here. It was an awesome experience, featuring Randy Bachman. A wonderful venue. We will be back.
Beautiful venue. Wonderful acoustics! We were in the second last row on the ground floor and still had great sight lines!
Excellent venue. No "bad" seats. Staff are very engaging.
Love the Rose. BMT's production of "Mama Mia" was the best!
Very quick and efficient. Pleasant employees with lots of THANKS.
Excellent space for entertainment. Staff courteous.
The staff did an amazing job of keeping everyone safe. There were 3 groups of 2 people per row and only every other row was occupied. They had people leave by section so there was no crowding.
Incredible venue, sound is great along with the old school atmosphere of a live theater. Will definitely return!
Great local spot to see all kinds of great shows!!
Clean, organized . Great customer service. Venue was just the right size.
They were very good at covid rules. Only remove your mask to drink then put it back on! This is a wonderful venue with great sound, no bad seats and underground parking!!! Nice pre-order bar service for intermission (that was pre-covid). Lobby looks out over the town square. I would highly recommend this venue!!
Nice small venue to see a show. Comfortable seats and easy to get in and out of.
Very nice theater. Ambience and interiors are very good.
Great theater. Its nice and small so every seat has a great view. We sat in a box overlooking the stage and had a great view of tbe wiggles. The railing is very low so my two year old could see. Nice cafe area with options and ice cream. My only problem with this place was the underground parking when you're leaving. You have to pay before you get into you car but by the time we made it to the exit we had to pay another dollar. This happened to lots of people and it made the problem worse for everyone. However we only paid $4 for parking which i thought was a steal. I recommend waiting a bit for the lot to clear or go grab a coffee.
Beautiful theatre and very lovely venue. I had never been before and it was much larger than I originally anticipated. Quite a nice spot with a large variety of shows coming through.
Great place to see a show. There is not a bad seat in the place. Great sound.
My first time at the Rose Theatre, I love it, underground parking and the show was great. I will definitely go again.
Great concert venue, comfortable seating, great views of stage and very clean. check out their lineup of entertainers, worth a look and visit.
Great place to see anything. Live music is the best.
Fantastic venue to hear and see a show. Great people working there.
Amazing performance of mamma Mia at this great theatre. Great atmosphere and didn't seem like there was a bad seat in the house! Very friendly staff
Good experience was my first time there, looking forward to seeing other shows there.
The rose theatre is nice inside, with very comfortable seats. I like that you can enjoy an alcoholic beverage, with the show. However there is less than a thousand seats at the Rose, which limits access to some shows.
You get a great view no matter where you sit.
Great Theatre!! Went to go see Styx and the theatre was perfect for this venue. Lots of seating space. They also have a bar so as to get a drink before during and after the show!! Will definately go back!!
My daughter had a show here, staff was Very friendly. I wasn't feeling to well so one of the managers grabbed me a glass of water helped me to sit down & made sure I was ok, now that is what customer service is all about
First time I visited this theatre and it's really quite lovely but they need to train their ushers to recognize and remove any drunk and disorderly patrons, one lady completely ruined the show for a whole section of patrons.
Great Pink Floyd show note for note very helpful staff just a good night thx
I recently tried to purchase tickets for the wiggles! I was online right at 10am as well as on the phone! On 3 different occasions I had tickets in my cart that were then sold from my cart when I tried to pay for them! Between waiting on hold for over 10min and trying to get tickets back into my cart even though they were already in my cart I lost out on tickets and am now forced to buy them from secondary sites at triple the cost!
My daughter performed jer competitive dance routines at this location. Very nice Theatre. Ample seating, great acoustics.
The Rose is a very modern facility with great acoustics. The seatings are of such that you always have a clear view of the stage.
An incredible venue and one of the last intimate theatres that put on music shows in the GTA. So many of these gems have closed in the past ten years and it's next to impossible to see a show that isn't in a stadium or arena. I love that the Rose hosts smaller names and the space itself is set up so perfectly! Often the musicians come out into the lobby after to meet guests, which is incredible too.
Beautiful Theater. The staff were very helpful. Watched a stand up comedy show. Centrally located in Brampton downtown.
Fantastic theater venue with good seating and generally good views. I find the balcony a bit too far back and diatant (only reason for the 4 out of 5) but the lower level seats are good. Pit music is clear and loud as required. Been to 3 shows here now, and will continue to attend, just not on the balcony. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Great place for school trips! Staff is excellent. Performances are always appropriate. This place is an underrated gem of the city.
Went on school field trip, very organized, clean atmosphere and friendly staff.
Lovely venue. Very intimate. Would like it to be more accesible for disabled persons. Long way since elevators are only at one end of the venue.
I have seen a couple and performed a couple shows here. Love the parking and always an interesting experience.
Great theatre.... excellent view and sound system...you become part of the experience
Our school put a spring production on at this theatre and it was a positive experience. The stage is huge and there is a nice variety of dressing rooms. Theatre staff worked efficiently as well.
