It's a good place to get help when you're hungry and need food desperately. unless you are gluten free. One time they had a meal I could eat but usually a lot of bread and stuff like that. People might have to donate some gluten free stuff from time to time if it's not too much trouble

I was very unhappy with the customer service when I came to make a donation of non perishable goods. The employees helping us were very impolite and didn’t even bother to ask if we needed help carrying the boxes up the stairs. I had volunteered here a couple years back for a while back and had an amazing experience. I would love to see improved customer service.

If you want to give back to the community and feel good about doing it, this is the place! I went there today to help out on behalf of my work. It was an experience that shows you what you have and how little others have. We have to be grateful for what we have and give to those in need. It's a great volunteer job. This place runs on volunteers it has no staff! If there are no volunteers it makes it hard for them to run the place for people in need. Donate your time!

Place is good but I hate that there are always people in front of the door smoking. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and the smoke fills the waiting room. It makes me worry that coming here will cause me to have lung cancer later in life.

They do head counts here and ask for your name nowadays. Free day olds of muffins, bread, pie, and miscellaneous desserts that sometimes are moldy. The food is served three times a day breakfast, lunch and dinner. They offer a food bank every week from the warehouse adjacent to the soup kitchen/community outreach. The quality of food is consistently terrible. Poor down and out bramptonions or travelers deserve a good meal not stomach filler and dehumanizing head counts or name taking. Donations are optional here. Coming here you will feel poor and eat poor.

I visited the Knight's Table about a year ago and I notice they serve hot, fresh meals. My friend and I waited to speak with someone and they kept offering us food. The staff is friendly ( especially the manager-rasta lady, can't recall her name:) I met a family that said they eat there during the week, which I thought was pretty cool. All i all the place is clean and seems to be run well with lots of heart.

The staff immediately fed me in a very comforting and human manner. If you need help getting a meal all you need to do is walk in and be polite. And I mean a real meal with fruit and a sandwich to take with you after the main course. Please do not abuse this aid or the staff. That would hurt more then just them and you.

If you ever have free time please come to the Knights Table in Brampton on Glidden Dr.... They need man power, food donations, and monetary donations.... It serves the Peel Region and beyond.... After volunteering there a few times I can't wait to get more people to help provide support for our community who needs our help...

My family and I have been volunteering here since 2005. Yes they have moved around a lot but they keep growing too big for the building they are housed. Even now they need more funding to expand and get more warehousing for their food bank. Only food bank and soup kitchen in the peel region they are always in need and are open all year. Poverty never stops so Knights Table never closes its door. Each staff member has their little quirks. I love them all dearly. Food banks are one of those places where they will never be truly happy until they are no longer needed.

Knights table tortures. They keep the whole people out in the cold all day for christmas hamper & then they get nothing. They purposefully leave everyone out in the cold so that people get cold & tired of waiting & then leave without receiving any christmas hamper. Every year, they repeat this mismanagement.

I went into the food bank this thursday and a wonderful lady helped me to my car, made sure I had toothpaste and new toothbrushes for myself and kids. She greeted me with a smile and asked how I doing. She also took care of a mom who had her little boy with her, she went out of her way to find the child a treat to make him calm down and the mother was able to be calm herself. Its a nice change to see someone who can smile and enjoy herself, it makes us feel better coming into a place for help. You are blessed to have her there. Not sure what her name is she is a short lady, a very nice smile and has a sweet presence about her. It was around 1 when I was there. I hope my experience is always like this. I have also visited for dinner and its always a cold environment no one can or be friendly, voices always raised and mean uptight woman in the kitchen, she could use some manners and maybe be trained on some customer service or just get an attitude adjustment.

I was told I could come on Wednesday the day the food bank was open to do an intake as well as receive food. I arrived at 12pm sharp and was told after waiting in line to enter, they they couldn’t possibly do it and had to leave empty handed. Not what I was expecting. Glad I wasted my last few dollars to get there. Would not recommend this service to anyone.

Shame on these people !!!! I raised $1142.00 at work through a thanksgiving drive and requested a receipt in return. Still have not got it. Spoke with three people and keep getting the run around. I feel defrauded. I hope that the people actually got the money and not the ceo of the company to buy new shoes for her self. This is the reason people are giving less now a days. So irresponsible this place is.Its the people that suffer from your stupidity.

I have never been to this or anyother locations but God bless all who give and help one's in need the more you give the more you'll gain. I was once shared this secret by a Dubai trillianiare he an Answered he was not birth rich. The key to success is give it all you have in service to poor and innocent. Also I read some negative reviews, I was not shock as they lack spirituality and knowledge mute your anger it's a test lead positive vibes. It's hard drop by drop makes an ocean plant a seed try sitting there for a week to see the plant come out. Or you can just be patient water and wait to get surprised one day. All I'm saying is knowledge patients positive sense of humor and build stronger will power. Takecare

Ofcourse five stars because of the nature if work doing. Have a suggestion in cordinating grocery because lots of time to collecting it need to wait in large queue 3-4 hours. If they can make it with proper appointments it will be nice????

I wish I could give less than 1 star because this is a SHAM of an organization. Smile and play nice for cameras/newspapers but they could care less. They are rude, cruel, disrespectful and clearly don't give thought about the personal issues go through for them to even ask for help. They act like the people they claim they are trying to help are a burdan. Horrible people, sham of an organization, and I hope people see their true colours. Cold and heartless organization.
