Omg I am not a country girl but this place makes you want to line dance!!! Watching people who know how to get down makes you want to get on that dance floor and tear it up! They also offer lessons Wednesday through Sunday and they ste do much fun! Wednesday and Friday nights ste girls night so we drink free. Bring a friend or bring a special someone, there'll be fun for everyone.

We went to “Roundup” for my birthday on a $71 ($150 value) Groupon. This place is a lot of fun! Love watching the line dancers and trying to keep up with them. It was Friday, 09/16/16 and they were having this “latin fusion” type of thing. I’m half latin so I could appreciate that but the minute the band started playing latin music, the floor cleared. It lasted for one song and then they were back to the regular stuff. It was funny to watch the whole thing. Now, let’s get to the rest of the night. The for was a 2 star at best, the reason I’m giving it a 3 star is because of the Groupon. The food at Cowboy’s Saloon is 10x’s better. This stuff taste like it was sitting around for a bit (I had the ribs…meh at best). There were 9 of us and no one had an exceptional meal. All of them were “meh”. This place is about 1/3 the size of Cowboys and Cowboys also has a “solo” cup special where you can drink all night for $15…Roundup charged us $8 for a rum and coke and I don’t drink, so I had a “Monster” and they charged me $6 for that. For a fully "rounded" evening, I would definitely recommend Cowboys but for a $71 bill plus a $15 overage and tip for 9 people…this place isn’t bad. BTW...Cowboys also has a Groupon special.

Very nice place. My last visit was today and had to pay a cover on a Wednesday and it was super hot. I had to go next door to the pool hall to cool off. It was lady's night and was told that girls drink free at the entrance which made me feel better about the cover since i was with my lady friend but once we ordered drinks i was told that that specific bartender doesn't do free drinks for ladies and had to pay for her drink anyways. Other than that it would totally be 5 stars. Very amusing to watch everyone knowing all the same dance moves at the same time for the most part and they don't play too much hiphop for a club which is nice change of pace.

Went on a Friday night (Ladies' Night) and it was a lot of fun. Ladies drink free after 9. Not the best vodka but hey, it's free. First let's talk about the food since I didn't see many reviews. We are from out of town and wanted to eat. There are very few bars I feel safe to eat their food. Our waitress, Ashley, stated the food is very good and made some recommendations. We ordered the Cobb salad and blackened Mahi Mahi (fresh catch of the day). We were surprised. The food was good. Wife didn't eat the egg on the Cobb salad just because she didn't want to push her luck. They had many items on the food menu and would definitely recommend eating here. Now for why we came here. We are from Houston and I wanted to dance to some country western music. This place didn't disappoint. The only problem was it was 90% line dancing. I don't line dance! Well maybe once. Early in the evening (before 10p) we were about to dance on the outside of the dance floor. After 10p, it was packed! I never seen so many people line dancing to so many songs. Everybody looked to be having a good time. If you are new to line dancing, call and find out when they offer lessons. They had lessons at 8p the night we were there. It reminded me of Big Texas in Houston. There are all ages and races mingling on the dance floor. Loved it! Even if you don't dance, it is a great place to people watch. 2 Thumbs Up for Round Up.

In the 30+ years living in broward county I said oh well let me try something new. So a month ago I went with my family on a Sunday which just happened to be kids night. Country music not being my first choice of music lead me to believe I would regret having come here. Never judge a book by its cover and open yourself up to try something different. The night ended up being one of the best nights out I had in a while.The line dancing kept majority of the people on dancefloor engaged and for the most part moving in unison. Service was not bad at all, the employees we spoke to were very approachable and kind. The one negative thing about this place is that the food is a bit pricey. Other than that I recommend this to anyone if they haven't been to a cowboy bar before. Wanna say at around 10-11pm you start to see the more experienced line dancers on the dance floor. I was impressed on the swag and flavor the veterans would add to there line dancing.

This is a great place, with line dance teachers, great music and ambiance BUT their food choices are limited now and what they do have isn't really good anymore... more like a hole in the wall fast food place you go to because there isn't any other choice. Their food and service has declined greatly over the years. There are very little wait staff outside of the bar so it could take a while to get food or drinks. It's best to go right up to someone yourself then wait for real service. Definitely disappointed in how management has not made service and food selection and cooking a priority. Also drinks were just ehhh

BEWARE!!!!! I have never in my entirely life had someone actually stand up and look over a bathroom stall until I came here! Bathroom attendant in the ladies room on Friday 2/23/18 around midnight stood up and STARED into my stall while I was unbuttoning my pants to use the bathroom! HORRIFYING and I am currently looking into what could be done about this, I feel violated and offended! Disgusting!!!!!! And from reading past reviews this seems to occur frequently! I truly enjoy this place. It's an awesome Sunday afternoon when you can take the kids to the local hangout grab dinner and learn line dancing together. It's wholesome family fun. That song, Country must be Country wide is a lie. Granite this place had all the dances and dress code to be a country bar, but the song selection was poor. Or maybe Pop-country / dance county just isn't my thing. If you like Brad Paisley, George Straight, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw then don't go here, because they don't play it... The food and service were good and the dance floor is huge!

Our waitress was great and is the reason for the stars honestly. However, the manager was filling in for the DJ and had a terrible attitude. He gave a few people from my party an attitude for requesting songs which is stupid. I won't be coming back here and neither will anyone from my party.... just hoping Cowboys gets relocated soon!

First time going to this place, we arrive to the entrance and pay our fees when the front entrance lady (blonde) starts demanding we give her more money even though we had just paid her and she actually owed US change. I asked her to give me a second because I wasn’t sure how much my bf gave, she then demanded money again TWICE while I asked her again to give me a second. Turns out he gave her more and she DID OWE US MONEY. The lady continuously denied the amount we had given her and wouldn’t check her cash register. Upon finally checking she realizes we were right and sarcastically says “sorry”. I claimed that she was giving us attitude and owed us money. She stated it was an “honest mistake”. As our bracelets were put on by another girl the front entrance lady becomes furious and demands for the girl to rip them off and kicks us out of the club for a mistake SHE MADE and for giving US attitude and demanding the money. This was ridiculous. Horrible customer service.

Great place!!! I've been coming for the past month at least once a week! Young crowd, lessons are usually to new country songs. If it's your first time line dancing Sundays are family evening, so there's little kids around, but it's the best time to learn!! Don't be shy about getting on the dance floor. There's always someone to guide ya!! If you're going to be ambitious and try a difficult song you've never danced to before, stick to the edges of the floor! It's a courtesy (polite) thing for the more experienced dancers.

I'm from Texas so I know I've been spoiled with real cowboy dance halls, but come on y'all, really?? Tiny dance floor taken up by some serious line dancing damn near every song?? I felt like I was in a scene from Urban Cowboy. It must be a South Florida thing, but line dancing does not equate country western dancing in the rest of the continental US.

If you are looking for a country place come here. The cloud day is Friday and beginners it is better to go on Sunday. The people there are so friendly... i am just rewriting my review. Nice atmosphere for "Boot Scootin" and line dancing with an occasional "Special Event" concert thrown in for good measure. I believe there's is normally no cover charge except for "Special Events".. This time we paid $10 per person which I thought was well worth it to hear live music. 16oz draft beers will set you back $7.50 but they do offer a "Drink Special" for about $30. A FUN night out.

The only thing that is keeping me from giving 5 stars is that everytime I visit, it is very crowded and there often is too much couples-only dancing on the dance floor when the dance instructors are there.

I travel a lot and visit many places; Round Up NightClub is one of those rare places I was lucky enough to come across. If there was an option for me to rate them with 10+ stars then I totally would. I have no idea how to dance but that dance floor is pretty damn neat; you can just sit around and watch while enjoying your food & drinks. Additionally, they have Jenga, Pool Tables, & some other unique games that will always keep you busy and entertained unlike a bar that ONLY has drinks & food, this one has the full package. The vibe & decor is very western and extremely neat. The food is amazing, the waitresses are friendly & accommodating, and the prices are very affordable. I have no negative comments about this place. I cannot wait to return!

Thumbs up to the lessons, but a little pricey. My biggest complaint is the management. My friends and I were sitting waiting for a waitress to come over to us. After 15 mins I went over and talked to the manger. He said he would send someone over. Another 20 mins go by and still no one. Went again and the manger said someone would be over there in a min. After another 5 mins we left. AWFUL. You lost 5 people's business and drink tab.

Coming here for our first time on a Saturday night, very disappointed. We came because online it advertised line dancing from 7-8 pm then line dancing lessons at 8 pm. We were unaware of the $10 per person cover charge which included NOTHING. No DJ playing, no band, no drinks. Then shocked by the extremely high drink prices, $8.95 for super small jack and coke and $6 for a mich ultra! The place is a ghost town and the facilities are not well maintained there’s huge trash cans on the dance floor to catch the leaking water from the ceiling and the toilets were clogged in the bathroom when the place is not busy. Won’t be back. ✌️

I went on saturday for the first time and I got to do the line dancing class after that my cousin and I sat down to eat, at first the waitress was nice and attentive but later on she forgot certain parts of our orders and would not come around to check on us yet I saw her attending other people that sat down after us. There was a point where I had to to go after the waitress to tell her she forgot certain things in our order and to ask her for water because of that the girl got a crappy tip sorry. At the bar the bartender just looked at us and told us in a nasty attitude that she could not attend us only the men bartenders the reason for that I don't know all I know is that most of the women that work here were bitchy and did not make us feel welcomed at all. The music for the night was ok but after our friends got here we left, it will be a long time before I go back there if I decide to go back.

First time there, was pretty fun! More fun than I expected from a country music club. Would go again!

Not a place to bring your kids. They allow the bathroom attendant to look over the bathroom stall walls. This has happened to me countless of times where the older man who's in there takes a peek at me while I'm going to the bathroom. None of the management cares that this is going on. So if you don't want an elderly man taking a peek at your boyfriend, husband, or sons privates. I suggest another place. If this has happen to anyone else please comment your experience so hopefully the management can fix this problem

A good place to take a line up dancing classes. Crowd is a little bit territorial and not too friendly, specially when you are not an expert or a regular visitor. Anyway, to listen any song and dance always the same type of choreography makes it a little boring, I love to feel the music and dance freely.

Make sure you wear sleeves if your a guy. Place is a freaking rip off. $10 to get in anyways. And 20 for my underage wife which is fine. But screw this place and their double standards. Girls basically get in naked but a guy can't have a cut off shirt. Y'all just lost about $200 easy, cause someone had a tank top lol. What a joke

went line dancing 3 nights in a row one lady instructor was so good at teaching the dances that I could have done it with my eyes closed. on Saturday the DJ was teaching and he could not call the steps it was like follow my feet if you want to learn And that DJ he had the worst personality there he would not play requests and told me not to tell him how to do his job some older ladies told me if I had a request I better have a big tip to go with it.other then that the place was great

First time experience: Didnt like the line trying to get in. Think that was pointless, should just keep it going. Then $10 cover for men AND women..not cool. Worse part was the young crowd on a Friday night. I think Weekends should be 21+. Felt like I was at a college frat party with 80% of the crowd at 2am on Friday night being 18 year olds (maybe im just old...32 yrs young :). Would give this place another chance, maybe I just picked a bad night to go.

We went there tonight and spent 20 bucks and used our id’s that’s say we are 18 and they kicked us out for underage drinking because we talked to these fine girls who were 21 and drinking and the supervisor wouldn’t give us an explanation but the bouncers were honest and said they watched us and saw nothing will never go back like man just wanted to make some college memories

Best dance club around! I always have a great time when I go. By far, my favorite way to get great exercise, socialize, listen to great music, learn a new dance or two and meet some great people who all seem to be there just to have a blast. I love to dance and this Round Up is by far my favorite venue. It has a great mix of line dances, east coast swing, west coast swing, cha-cha, two-step, and curtails to all skill levels. HAVE FUN!

This is the only line dancing country club that I know of near Miami. They have great events like lady’s nights on Fridays. Ladies drink free until 2am. Great atmosphere. Good sound system. Big wood dance floor (designed for country boots). Get there early at 8pm and enjoy a free class
