NEVER GO HERE!!! FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY TRUST ME YOU WILL REGRET EVER GOING!! A GLASS BOTTLE GOT THROWN BY A BARTENDER NAMED HEATHER AT MY FRIEND FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON! We were greeted by rude security at the front to start things off and they tried charging us more then the asking price. Later we went to the bar and asked for water and the bartender served us our drinks in used cups! Disgusting and dangerous! Watch out ! What I still can’t believe and wrap my head around is that my friend put her bottle down for literally a second and the bartender snatched it up so fast and she asked for it back because she wasn’t done and was refused her drink back and then the bottle was thrown at her and LUCKILY it didn’t break and disfigure her!! I DONT KNOW HER INTENTIONS BUT IT WAS SO SCARY! MAYBE SHE HAD SOMETHING AGAINST MY FRIEND WHO KNOWS!! AND TO TOP IT OFF SHE GOT US KICKED OUT! Insane right ?! The security was also so unprofessional and we got kicked out in the cold. Waste of money !! The owners lack manliness and they were harassing us. So scary.

We went here for Halloween 2017 on a pub crawl. I forgot my credit card and ID and had to trek back to grab them. I had a wristband to get in, but the bouncer denied entry and said it would be $30 to get back in. Very pushy, so I walked away! The next day I came back at 10pm - which is when their website indicates they open. Locked doors and no one there. No response from phone or text (text is what they suggest on their voice message).

I have to admit of all the places I’ve visited in Toronto this is the worst place I’ve been to. The servants working here, act like garbage and lack mannerism. The owners here are nothing but useless and act corrupt. I highly don’t recommend this place to anyone, there are beautiful places out there with people that are respectful. This place together with its workers is nothing but garbage, stay away from it.

Worst club I have EVER been to. the bouncers are insane and extremely aggressive! My boyfriend and I were going out to celebrate our friends birthday and were thrown out. We had a reservation and were on a guest list so we weren't even supposed to pay for cover. However, the girl that collects the cash for the cover charge didn't understand that we were the last ones on the list and wanted to charge us for entrance. So my boyfriend gave her money for three of us (his sister was there too). She gave him back change and it wasn't enough. So he stuck his hand out and said "you didn't give me enough change back..?" she started scratching his arm and screaming at him hysterically! his wrist and forearm were bleeding! the second she started screaming at him, 4 bouncers came out of nowhere. one of them grabbed him around the neck, choking him, another grabbed his right arm, another grabbed his left arm and the fourth just pulled them all out!!! keep in mind these bouncers are HUGE like 250-300lb and my boyfriend is like 165lb!!! HE EVEN GRABBED THE BOUNCERS ARM AND WAS TRYING TO GET HIS ARM OFF OF HIS NECK BECAUSE HE COULDN'T BREATHE AND THEY WERE CHOKING HIM!!! When i saw that i started screaming as well and said "let him go, look at what the hell you're doing!!!" so then 2 bouncers grabbed me all of a sudden and 2 grabbed his sister. they threw us on a wall outside and didn't let me near my boyfriend to even talk to him. whenever i tried to go over to him to see if he was alright, one of the bouncers punched me and attacked me outside the club to the point where another one had to jump in and hold him down from attacking me AGAIN!!!! WHO THE HELL DOES THAT?! my boyfriends sister had a bruise on her jaw/ face the next day from the bouncers that attacked us. also, there is a girl bouncer there as well that I KNEW from a past job where i worked, and i looked at her and told her that i knew her; she couldn't even make eye contact with me cause of how EMBARRASSED SHE WAS THAT THESE ARE THE KIND OF PEOPLE SHE IS WORKING WITH, AND THE TYPE OF CLUB SHE WORKS FOR. The people working there are actually insane, and if these are the kind of employees this club is hiring, and if this is the manner in which it is being managed, i don\t know HOWWWWWWW Orchid Nightclub is still in business. Whoever is planning on celebrating a birthday or even spending one single night there, trust me, DON'T. spend your money elsewhere and actually ENJOY yourselves somewhere where the employees are SANE. The entire situation was blown out of proportion because of that girl that took the cover money. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THIS IS KIND OF REACTION WE GOT FROM THESE PEOPLE. DISGUSTING. ABSOLUTELY REPULSIVE.

I attended on a Friday night and wow was it a lovely. Free entry on guestlist and we were invited to the VIP booth. The songs were great, kudos to the two DJs who played all the good r&b hip-hop songs, old and new. The bartenders were efficient and friendly. The bouncers were a tad bit aggressive with people in line with was worriesome, but otherwise didn't cause any issues. The tactic of not letting people in on the scheduled opening time, in order to create a line and attract more people... not a great tactic. You lost more customers who went to other clubs, the only people who came to the line were the VIP booth customers who ended up going straight inside. Maybe next time have better promo beforehand xx

I have come across this night club on April 6, 2018 roughly around 10:45-11:00PM. I would like to voice some concerns about your security, they denied me entry at first for having a bottle of iced tea, that was disposed of, but still got denied entry. I asked why and they refused to give me an answer. they later were corroborating the same story with false information about me being inebriated. Upon requesting their name and security license, they also refused to cooperate. Please let it be known that refusal to present security license is illegal and will be taken up with a by-law officer. This encounter speaks very poorly of your company. To avoid any more conflict with your staff, I advise that orchid nightclub looks into getting security guards that adhere to a higher standard of professionalism.

I love the music! Its very spacious featuring two different rooms, Upstairs and downstairs. The crowd is a mix of different people/ages and the service is very good. All of the servers I have met are very friendly and accommodating.

Pretty much a waste of money for New Years. Spent 40$ a ticket to wait an hour in line outside and then be very crammed inside and barely be able to dance. Why they made us wait in line was to make more money off of people. If you Paid 40$ extra on top of the ticket you already paid for in advance, then you can get in right away. The entertainment here was absolutely fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.. A little bit too much I think at some points. When it was time for the Entertainer's I just still wanted to dance the music was so good and I was so into it. What an annoyance I was lol I know what that's like I'm a Performing Artist I should have known better lol but you know when you got to let go you got to let free. Bring on the absinthe and make sure your managers holding bail$$$$ when I'm back that way on tour in Toronto .I will definitely stop by there for the entertainment. I can't wait .I loved it so much. I had an awesome time. Sometimes when you dance for a living you get hum ha about the same old same old. Well this place has nothing old and nothing the same it's all new and all exciting and all awesome. Highly recommended. I had a really fun time at orchid. I purchased tickets to a day party there. I Loved the way the dj switched between regular hip hop music and soca music. I wish i could put videos on here. This place has a lot of space. Outside area with music/bar. Inside area with music/bar. It even has a downstairs area with music/bar.

I think this place is more suitable for younger crowds, who don't have much standards and low expectations. The music was to my preference (hip hop, reggae, soca), but sound technology was poor. It became over crowded and sweaty (lots of body odors). At one point someone threw a glass bottle that almost hit one of my friends... no idea why or what happened, but it didn't feel safe after that so we called it a night. I forgot my ID, which I get is important.. but, while I don't look old, I definitely don't look under 19. The bouncer made me wait outside, while letting my group of friends, who all had their IDs on them, go in. They all had to wait around by the coat check for me, because my name was the one on the guest list. After some time he eventually let me in, however it just seemed pointless to make me wait around outside while my friends wait around inside. I get it, rules are rules, but just say yes to begin with, or no if you really believe I might be underage. I guess he just wanted to exhibit his authority. He said next time remember your ID. There definitely will not be a next time... not because of the ID situation, but because it just wasn't great inside and not worth the wait. Drinks were over priced in my opinion.. $12 a shot, which I wouldn't mind paying at a nicer establishment, but not this place.

Where do I start.. I'm of Sikh background and wear a turban. It was the end of summer and my buddies birthday so we all got dressed and decided to go down to the club. On this day I decided to wear a smaller version of my normal turban to better suit my outfit. Now let me explain this, I wear my smaller turban maybe 70% of the time due to my work environment so its normal for my friends, my colleagues and my customers to see me with it on, no reason for it to be abnormal. I've been to orchid multiple times before wearing it with no issues. HOWEVER, apparently the staff are extremely uncultured (uh hello we live in Toronto there are thousands of Sikh men wearing the same style as I do) and decided on that day to classify it as "headgear" and deny me entry to the club. So there I was, kind of awstruct and also understanding that not everyone may know that I am of Sikh background and it is mandatory of my religion to keep my head covered. Like I said earlier, I've worn it there multiple times with videos and photos as proof. Now I tried to to explain this to the gentlemen at the door in a polite manner and showed him the photos and videos. They then proceeded to be very rude to me saying there is no headgear allowed? There were 3 other guys who got in with the more "traditional" style turban maybe minutes before me but now its not okay? Again I'm speechless at this point. I explain to them that there are many variations of an Sikh turban and that my style is more well known in England where my family is from. Still, anyone with any sort of brain would realise its a turban, not hard to distinguish that. They kept harassing me and asked me to TAKE IT OFF. This is where I got pissed, my people DIED to protect our culture and religious views, why would I take off my identity because you dont understand religion. I wasn't about to remove it because your bouncers & entrance guards didnt understand what the heck I was wearing, again this is after 3 other Sikh men already went inside. What's good Orchid? You hiring racist biggots now? Trying to deny me following my culture when it wasnt an issue until that day? What about the countless other times I came and you let me in no questions asked. Extremely disappointed. You'll fail as a club in such a diverse city. Absolute clowns.

I hope this club permanently stays closed, security let one of their own promoters get shot and no one helped him, he wasn't found by staff until after 3am, this man ultimately died. The club doesn't deserve their liquor license being a club owner comes with big responsibility and if you dont know how the run a club then gtfo. They cant handle their security company to do a proper job and protect everyone in their establishment. I would never go to this club ever again knowing you could pay off the right security and bring your weapons in!

We asked for another ticket and were told that it is not needed. At the end of the night, they refused to give the second coat and we had to fight for it. Like partying in a shipping container. Upon entering the fabled 'Orchid Nightclub' I was instantly disappointed. I was viciously shoved inside with a group of other people, before being charged two dollars to check my coat. After, I walked downstairs to be met with the potent smell of vomit. This fact alone summarizes the rest of my night. The music choice was mediocre, but the sound quality was horrendous. A large subwoofer sent pulses through my upper body which, paired with the vomit, was rather sickening. On top of this, the floors were slick with spilled water and other bodily fluids. The room was moist and strangely warm. It was also tremendously overcrowded with mindless idiots. Somebody somewhere is counting their stacks of money because they ripped off a bunch of horny fourteen-year-olds and shoved them into a seizure inducing sheep pen for 4 hours. Congratulations. You did it.

I went to Orchid Nightclub with my boyfriend on Saturday, March 24, 2018. It was our first time going. We arrived after 11pm. We did not end up waiting in line for too long, approximately 30 minutes. I did put us on the guest list, but by the time we made it to the front of the line, it was too late for the guest list, so we had to pay full price. It was $25 dollars for each of us, but we didn't mind at all. Coat check was quick and efficient. The ladies there were nice. The club was PACKED, coupled by the fact that the club is on the smaller side. So everywhere we moved, we were bumping into people. The bartenders were really nice, and by far the nicest bartenders we've ever come across, in any club/lounge setting. We were pleasantly surprised. We were actually preparing ourselves for brash bartenders, as that's all we've ever seen. But, they were great, and honest. The drinks were not overly priced. The music was fantastic. Virtually no one was just standing around, playing with their thumbs. Everyone was dancing. It was great. It seemed like no matter who it was, everyone was having a great time. It was wonderful. You felt like the entire city was in the club. Be aware that on Saturday nights, the bar closes 2:00am. My boyfriend and I were a little bit surprised, as it was a lot earlier than some other clubs we've been too, and we shortly left after that. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic night. The washrooms could use some improvements. Very dim lighting and not enough soap for hand washing, but it doesn't take away from the great time we had. I would highly recommend this club. I'll be going back in late May for my birthday celebration, but this time we will be staying in a hotel for the weekend, so I'm sure we'll make the guest list this time. There's just something about the club that entices you to want to come back. Go, and discover Orchid!

If a 0 star rating was an option, orchid nightclub would be most worthy. This night club was the venue of choice for New Years Eve with my friends and let me tell all of you to please steer clear from this place. We were supposed to get bottle service that evening, prepared to spend well over $2000 amongst 12 friends. We couldn't even get in!! We paid the tall black bouncer at the front door $300 to have us all bypass the line. He took our money and and kept saying "Ill get you guys in a sec". We literally counted down the seconds to midnight outside in the freezing cold staring at this prick. And after making numerous complaints and asking for our money back since we couldn't even get in on time, he acted like it never happened. Never going there again! I don't even know why we stayed! The bar inside was smelly too and the booths were all sticky. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this place, its a hotspot for theft and assault. Sadly, its the bouncers that are perpetrators. Would strongly recommend restaffing this place.

One of the worst nightclub I have been to. The service was unacceptable. The bouncers were arrogant and bartenders were slow and rude. The music sucked and crowd was lifeless. On the doors they said cover was 15, but charged us 20 when we actually got inside. The drinks were really bad, all we all had really bad headaches the next day. Dont waste your time and money here.

DO NOT GO HERE! Absoloutley the worstclub in Toronto. The staff misplaced my friends jacket at coatcheck which had her phone. Then they strted being very rude and were rushing us to leave, rather than help us or rectify the problem. They did not provide and compensation and till now we have no heard a word back from them. In addition to this thd music is not good and the manager is disrespectful and has absoloutley zero manners. Save your self a night of misery and find a better club to go to. This place deserves 0 stars. If you don't know how to run a business then don't run one.

Coming from a person who works in the service industry and my performance as a manager depends on my customer service score, I'm typically not the one to write negative reviews, but here it goes... Cover charge was reasonable and so was coat check but that's about it. Drinks were nothing special, the staff was rude and abrupt every step of the way. The crowd was also VERY young (I'm 25 so you be the judge). Was willing to come back the next night however there was one small issue; I lost my wallet. I retraced my steps (Front desk at hotel, uber driver, 7 Eleven etc.) And last but not least, this venue. Couldn't reach anyone until 6:30pm and was told to call back closer to 9pm. I showed up at 9:30pm as they were setting up and was rudely asked to come back in an hour. I explained that I was pressed for time as I was from the U.S and was leaving the next day. The Tall gentleman I was speaking with then left and asked his manager if he saw anything. About 30 seconds later he came back and, rudely, told me he couldn't find anything. Is it their fault my wallet is gone? Absolutely not but the way I was treated, like me and my friends didn't drop $150 the night before, we decided this place didn't deserve our time and hard earned money. The sheer lack of concern for my lost item was GLARING!!

Terrible. I never even made it inside because they were not at all prepare for the New Years traffic. I bought my ticket weeks in advance and STILL had to wait outside in freezing temperatures. The worst part? They had a separate line for people with wristbands, only to tell them that they had to get in the back as well. I'll never go back and, for your special occasions, I wouldn't recommend it.

The staff are disorganized and extremely rude. We were visiting for work and got a bottle. Service took forever, the door man were too busy harassing us about not being on the guest list to pay attention to the fight breaking out at the entrance. DJ is good, hip hop soca mix. A lot of trashy young college kids and ratchet vibes.

Got kicked out for no reason. I was literally just standing in the washroom waiting for my friends to finish when the bouncer came and grabbed me. Wasn’t even told a reason for why I was being grabbed , he just said “ let’s go!! “ very aggressively. Otherwise the experience was actually decent, front staff was nice.

The worst experience that I had here at Canada!!! I'm feeling robbed!!! Its was a complete mess at time when I left (10:30 PM) and the employees lost my jacket. I spent 30 minutes waiting. After that I asked about search my jacket by myself, and I couldn't find. I complained how we can solve this, and the answer was "I can't solve your problem" and the manager wasn't There today I continued complained about this and the security guard kick me out with violence. Outside, another man was talking to me, he told me that he was the manager, I explained what happened and the ask about my jacket receipt to search again, but after I give the receipt he told me "Go home now" and went in with my receipt. I complained vainly and came back home only with my T-shirt in the cold. Horrible attendance.

My husband and I returned to orchid for a 2nd time friday November 30th. While the crowd was a bit different this time due to orchid being on a club crawl list the place still had a good vibe. Decor is nice, the club is well laid out, the dj played a good selection of old and new hip hop/reggae hits. The bathroom was clean and the bathroom attendant was friendly. The bartending staff were attentive and pleasent. The best part of all was that the security staff were HUMBLE and did their job remarkably well. There was no ego here from the security, shout out to TIM from security who handled a situation with an argumentative drunk female with class and and caution for her safety. He even went out of his way to ask us how our experience was upon leaving. Thank you

Very rude and impolite staff. Do not waste your money for a club that has ONE-STAR comments more than other comments! My friend and I have purchased a ticket for this club for Halloween, but the staff refused my friend entering the club and forced him to remove his costume and to pay extra money. When we asked to talk to the manager of this club, one of the bouncers behaved extremely impolitely and kicked my friend out of the club. Surprisingly, all other staff supported the behaviour of this bouncer. After I saw this behaviour, I changed my mind to enter the club as I felt this club is NOT SAFE AT ALL, and I could be hurt by the staff. Only in 20 minutes that I was in front of the club, I saw a number of similar behaviours with other consumers. I highly recommend the staff of this club to go to other clubs in the city and learn how to behave with costumers.

We went here for the so called "Foam Festival" on May 21, and I must say these guys have the whole false advertisement thing nailed. "Huge foam cannons shower you with foam" is what they advertised, but all that we got was one bubble maker strapped to a big fan, which only made the ground slippery and wet. The venue itself is pretty bad too. The dance floor is too small. There's too many stairs everywhere. The music was definitely not top 40s. The staff are horrible and doing their job properly seems to be not their top priority. For example, one of the security guys kept yelling at the top of his lungs for people to not stand around. The coat-check people are not any nicer either. Summary: I would never ever again go to Orchid, even if someone paid me to.

So much fun! I came here for a night with my friends and we had a blast!!! We entered and were promptly greeted and walked through our visit. We could either start putting right away or have a couple beverages before we started. We tried two of their ACES pizzas - the KFC & the Supreme Deluxe. These pizzas were absolutely delicious! 10/10. Our server Gabby was super helpful & was ready to help out in any capacity! We appreciated the great service and tasty pizza. I will recommend Par-tee putt to my friends + I will definitely be back again.

The security at this place are losers. They make 15 an hour and think they are police. Well even the police don't hit women. The way these security attacked me and my two cousins was cowardly. Noone was even fighting with them. We talking to a lawyer and we got it all on film.

New Years was a waste of time, the line was huge and moving extra slow since the ticket prices were going up as the night went by. Bouncers were asking for money for people to skip the line like there was no tomorrow. They approached us! Could you imagine! We weren't going to get in by midnight so me and my 3 friends finally decided to pay the big white bouncer out front 30$ each. We got escorted by another bouncer to some shady parking lot, where we entered in the venue from the back doors where they throw out their trash. Disgusting experience and super sketch. Once we entered the venue after almost slipping down the stairs, the bar reeked of weed and drinks were priced way to high. 13$ shots for tequila?!?! HAHA good joke. Never coming again.

I have been to almost every joint out in the city. Growing up in Toronto, I've seen many of these places open up under different names, different management. This place by far offered the worst experience. To anyone looking for recommendations for a club- feel free to go if you'd like if you wish to have servers curse at you, or have bartenders be on their phone while you wait to order drinks at an empty bar. To top it off, my friend was denied entry to the club (with a booth reservation) because he had a religious headgear on (he is Sikh). No, he was not hiding a shank, or a gun under his headgear for the record. This really makes me wonder what religious headgear has to do with entry to a club - especially in a city like Toronto? To top it all off, when we tried to explain why he wears a headgear to the bouncer, one of the staff members started cursing. I guess that's one great way to treat your guests!!

The security are terrible. We showed up for guestlist on time and they took so long getting us in that when we got to the front they said we didn't show up in time. I then had to pay this little Spanish doorman 40 bucks to get my girlfriend in past the line so she could enter with us. Then she still HAD TO PAY COVER!!! This place is scam and the service is terrible. I don't even know how they manage to get 3.6 stars. I put myself and my friends on the guest list 2-3 weeks prior. When we got there, they try to tell me that my name is not on the list. After I showed them the confirmation that I received, they finally gave us tickets so that we can get in. We waited 15 minutes in line after that to get in and we were the only people in line. The security guards were just standing around and talking to each other while we were waiting to be let in. Finally, after waiting 15 minutes they let me and 3 of my friends in and made the rest of my group wait again for another 15 minutes for no reason. Again the security was just standing there talking to one another. Once the rest of my group got in they made the guys pay a cover and when I asked about it, the girl at the front said, "ladies are only free befor 11:30". When I told her we were on the guest list she just repeated the same thing. However, on their website and on the confirmation I received it clearly states all guest on guest list is free before 11:30 and no where on there does it say only ladies. I will never be returning here!

Do not waste your money. The worst place I have ever seen in my life. We paid the ticket for a Halloween event. We arrived there. They forced us to pay extra $4 for coat check while our jackets were light and part of our costume! Then I asked them to talk with the manager. They refused and asked one of the security to forcefully push us outside, which I think was illegal considering the amount of force. In sum, they are fraudulent and their staff are very rude. Just imagine you buy the entrance ticket, then they may ask you that their rule is that you should pay $1000 for nothing otherwise they kick you out cuz it is their private property.

I booked a booth for $550 for 2 bottles when I arrived let me start by saying the bouncers at the front door are very disrespectful and don't care about no one or nothing they kicked my brother up for no reason out of the line so we didn't even get in I put $100 deposit down on the booth I had my waitress waiting for me on the inside after an hour and a half of trying to get my brother back in I finally did half of my crew left because of the problems with the bouncers at the front door then when I got in my waitress didn't even know where I was sitting took me another 20 minutes to even try and see where we were supposed to be I ended up saying forget it I don't need the the booth anymore because now its 1:45 we have 15 minutes between three people to drink two bottles just not happening we made the most of it and we just bought drinks and try to enjoy yourselves now the next day I requested for my hundred dollar deposit back which was never told to me that it's nonrefundable especially in a situation like that the guy tells me that he doesn't have proof that I put $100 deposit down I tell him I did an e-transfer therefore it is in my bank I have proof and he tells me well you didn't make it to me you made it to the other girls so I don't know where that money went pretty much doesn't want to give me the money back I so badly want to take this guy to court but then I have my friend call me and tell me that she lose her job if I do that so pretty much he gets to sniff my hundred dollars up his nose because I don't want my friend to lose her money very bad customer service I do not recommend this place whatsoever it's not it's not a nice place beware people don't allow people like this to get away

Bouncer was ridiculously rude and on a power trip. Spend your money elsewhere, preferably somewhere you won’t be treated like garbage... When a place has almost as many 1 star reviews as 5 stars reviews you have about a 50% chance of having a good night. He kicked us out because we used a swear word (no one swore at him).... I went through the trouble of resetting my password just to give this place a bad review.
