This was not my first time here I've been several times and each time was amazing however they made my birthday night a night to remember.

I went to the club last Saturday day and I had a group of whites and blacks had no issues getting in and no cover charge. The DJ would switch to white and black music every couple songs and had the dance floor and VIP going so all these racist posts are BS with people with nothing better to do with their time. Very pretty girls all night (white, black, hispanic) definitely enjoyed my night. They are strict on the shoes for some people and not others but that's every club in Charleston.

Seriously the best nightclub there is in town. If you are looking for a VIP table, look no further TYLER has definitely made the moves this summer to make the lights and audio sound stupendous. It is incredible and the VIP service is A1, the girls that work there feel like they are all around the world. Best theme parties are at DECO, so for the nightlife experience with the social distance , this is the place to be. I had set seal bachelor parties and bachelorettes while giving tours in Charleston , they walkways rave to me about how awesome their night is They hire by far the best DJs in town and the security ensure all IDs are scanned. On top of that, one of the few places that does pat downs for security purposes and enforces their dress code like no other. Dress to impress and shake that @$$ with some class in Charleston... ONLY AT DECO NIGHTCLUB. Friendly staff from the inside and out !!!

One of the few club scenes in downtown Charleston that does it right! Awesome venue with a great bar layout and accommodating... but most importantly, polite staff. The bartender, Jasmine, was nice enough to let me charge my phone behind the bar and made sure I didn’t leave without it; the kind of hospitality that is hard to come by nowadays. All around, my group and I had an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back. Don’t believe the negative reviews, I promise you will have a fun and memorable night at Deco.

The wife and I needed a vacation, so we both decided to spend the weekend at Charleston S.C.. We love to party and have a good time, so upon our arrival in Charleston S.C we was looking for a really good place we can party and have a few drinks. After we arrived and had dinner we was referred to the "Deco Nightclub" were we was told had really good music and good atmosphere. We decided to give it a try, and I must say the club was gorgeous. The decor was amazing and the energy was exactly what the wife and I was looking for. The staff was amazing from the security guards to the bartenders, but there was one staff member that stuck out the most and that was a women in the restroom. If I can remember her name, it was Nina, she was so much fun and made me laugh so much that I honestly wanted to stay in the restroom for the rest of my visit. If you haven't been to Deco Nightclub and your in Charleston S.C. I highly recommend you go try it out it was an amazing experience and I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

Tried this bar out for the first time on a Saturday night. The bouncer at the door let me in but notified me that I was not allowed to wear boots. He said it was okay to come in tonight because I was unaware of the dress code. Walked in to pay a cover fee and was approached by another man in a suit saying I was not allowed in because I was wearing boots. I told him that the man at the door said it was okay to go in because the dress code was not listed online. He continued to tell me I was not allowed in and that he was in charge. He got in my face and said nasty comments to another man behind me about him wearing boots as well. The police were later called and this man was let off for saying racial slurs to another man in line. I will never attempt to get into this so called “club” again and I will take my money elsewhere when exploring downtown Charleston.

Been internationally to some of the best clubs in the galaxy…Pacha, Shoko, Catwalk (Barcelona), Just Cavalli (Milan) LIV, Mansion (MIA) Playhouse (LA) Encore, Hyde (Vegas) Haven(AC). I don’t write this because I think I’m a big shot baller. I'm not. I just got lucky to get to go with real ballers and experience it. If you’ve been to any of those spots as well with your friends or bachelor/bachelorette parties you’d see what I mean after getting a table at Deco. It has this same vibe of the powerhouse clubs everyone loves, only a few weeks into opening in Charleston. The DJs and music (which is the most important thing) have been incredible and sound/lighting is on point. Plenty of room to dance in the VIP and on the huge dance floor. What I like the most is the people who created and running Deco-- are obsessed with making it the best experience they can every Thurs/Fri/Saturday night for their guests. VIP suites they designed have lots of range depending on how many people you have in your party that specific night. It has the international club level feel, which is why I feel its drawing such a globally diverse crowd locally in Chucktown. Great mix of folks always. Security is heavy and doesn't put up with any BS. Nice seeing everyone dolled up!

Racist!!! My cousin went and a white women accused him of touching her butt and he was no where near her she came out of nowhere! Then the security came in and told my cousin he had to leave ! Next the owner came out and said well maybe it wasn’t my cousin it could have been his friend “another black dude” in her words the other black dude over there! Horrible! Never again !

Absolutely terrible DJ, songs were overmixed and undanceable. Bartender was rude and unprofessional, stated she “didn’t have time” to find the flavor of seltzer I wanted despite there being 5 bartenders and no more than 50 patrons on a Friday night. Half the club was roped-off “VIP” areas that absolutely no one was utilizing. This place was trying way too hard to be like an upscale Vegas-style club and was not delivering at all. Super pathetic. Took my seltzer and we bounced!

I was weary to try this place prior to Covid due to their horrible reputation however, after a year without leaving the house much, decided to give it a try. Terrible management, bouncers, prices, organization etc. Very rude employees to top it off. Reading other recent reviews I see I am not the only one who feels this way. For those thinking about wasting their money here. DON'T I personally recommend Trio. Also, if the owner or someone who "cares" reads this review, you guys need to check your attitude and whatever god complex you have.

So we went out last night the club atmosphere itself was fun but my friend was drugged early on in the night. Which apparently this establishment has a record of. I tried asking a manager for help he scolded me and sent me away. I tried to talk to other staff members. The vip bouncer on the right side of the stage pushed me down the stairs when I stepped up to ask him a question and he refused to acknowledge me after that. Overall very disappointed. I will say there was one very helpful manager who tried his best to help and the men at the exits were also very kind. I appreciate them and do not hold them to the low standards that I saw last night. Watch your drinks and have fun.

I would give a negative star if possible! My first mistake was having my birthday party there last Saturday, originally I rented the Dj both vip area, when we got there I saw they had a divider in the room and one of the tables had been “rented” again to a different party, they asked me if I didn’t mind since my party was only 16 people and the space could fit up to 30, my second mistake was trying to be nice and saying ok, when clearly that was my area!! I was just trying to have fun with my friends. The night was going great until the other party started to get bigger and bigger and apparently they were the owners friends so what they did was they took the divider that was between us where they had one table that was originally supposed to be mine in the first place and pushed all the way across the room putting us in the corner and giving us only one table so now we were squished in a tiny corner. Of course I went there and I took the divider and put back where it was supposed to be and I talked to my server and explained what the other people had done and she was like “ we apologize for that, let me talk to the manager” We continue to try and have fun and they did again, but this time it was their server who pushed the divider to our side and took all of our drinks and set it on the floor and moved the people to our space again, at this point I asked to speak with the manager but he never came out, 15 minutes later the owner came out and started laughing and dancing in front of us flicked my husband off and said, and I quote: What the effing are you going to do M Effer ??? ???? Then had his security kick us out... what??? I was standing there talking to someone that I don’t even know who this person was and he was trying to push me out of the club wile the other people literally took over our space and they took all of our drinks and threw it away! Our security guy the one that was watching our section all night took action and said no one was going to touch me and told the other people to leave our space until we got our stuff and figured things out, then he literally had protected me and help me get outside. When we got outside I realized that one of my friends was assaulted by a girl that works there, and when we tried to do a police report the police officer who is friends with the owner refused to take our statement. To make matters worse the owner sister came outside and continue to talk smack, until I got there and confronted her as a paying customer...she was like: we can offer you one free bottle and you can come back in and stay on the general area. What??? You rented a vip section and kick us out because your friends are there and you want to use it?! That’s absurd, the owner is the most unprofessional person I ever had the displeasure to meet and they ruined my birthday!! This place should close for business

I've hosted events at several bars in Charleston, and my event at Deco was hands down the best of them all. The owner Tyler and event coordinator Aria could not have been more accommodating, and were very easy to work with. During the event the bouncers were respectful and the bartenders were friendly and having a good time. I got great reviews from everyone who attended, we are excited to go back.

The experience, the music the drinks were great. However, I paid for a VIP area "The Battery" and yet there was 20 extra people in my section. Security did their best to keep them at bay, they supposedly belonged to thr section next to my own. Once I arrived, Brittany, whom I've been communicating with all night, said my section was at capacity and in order for me to get into mmt section I would have to buy another bottle..... I only had 3 people in my section waiting on me. She also told me that the bottles start at $200 which was not true. I will not waste my money on a private area here again. There's nothing private about it.

Since they want to delete all their former bad reviews following a lot of controversy over their business practices, here’s mine.... Have tried out this place a total of three times. Only one bar on the main dance floor so it takes upwards of 30 minutes to get a drink. They keep people waiting outside in line for a half full club. We showed up at 11:00 on a Friday night only to enter an empty club. So hot that you can’t stand to spend more than 45 minutes inside. The staff and management are rude and condescending. Please don’t waste your time here. There are much better options in Charleston that have been around for much longer. Check the Facebook reviews if you want a true picture.

They’re hosting a “stimulus weekend” and selling $600 VIP table packages. This is so insulting to everyone who has lost their job, home, or a family member during covid-19. So many individuals and families across the country are depending on the stimulus in order to to keep their homes and feed themselves, but this business is using it to host a party. While we are still very much in a pandemic. It is disgusting to so blatantly make a mockery of the government aid that is supposed to help so many Americans during their troubled times.

Attended a comedy show at the club tonight. The club could not get the mic working. Poor guy that led off the night had to leave the stage and do his routine by the DJ desk. He was 10 feet away from me and I still could not hear half of the gig. It appeared they got the sound fixed for the second act. Then the headliner got on stage and it was so bad he walked out. You would think that the one thing the club would get right would be sound for an audio show.
