Always a good time at dallas but since the covid restrictions have surfaced their protocol is ridiculous. My group of friends was all double vaxed however they would only accept an email receipt of the vaccination. Even when my friend went on the official covid webiste to show proof of vaccination she was getting hassled by one of the body guards. Additionally, when we asked the other body guards why they would't accept any other form of vaccination proof they just looked at us like "i dont know" - seemed very unorganized and difficult when everyone was going through their emails to find a covid receipt they received months ago when every other place in waterloo has been more understanding. Very irritating.

Im 21 and I'm from Texas to the point of having to pay international tuition. Friends dragged me to Dallas last night for the first time as I actively avoid going there, and then the scrawny white bouncer refused to let me in with my group of 8, telling me that I was lucky he was giving my (Texas drivers license) ID back because whatever little book he had disagreed with my ID. ????????‍♀️ Get a new book, my man. Yours is wrong, and you must have been really bored last night. Now I know better than to waste my time or money there in the future.

Myself and a group of friends came here for my friends 20th birthday, my friend got ID’d by one bouncer and he let her in, but another bouncer stopped her and asked for her ID again, the bouncer had her health card, drivers license, student ID and saw her credit cards and her social media and continued questioning her and wasn’t letting her in. We said forget it we will go somewhere else and then he continued to ask for her signature as well. We finally just grabbed her ID’s and left, but it completely ruined her 20th birthday and they lost a big group of people because of it. Would 100% NOT recommend, never coming back here!!

First time there and will never go back. Staff was extremely rude, the place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years and the bathroom was a complete disaster. Got kicked out simply for asking if we could pay for the bull when we got to the stage, but it was a blessing in disguise. We ended up at Stampede Corral and had a much better time!

If you love dancing and country music, don't look anywhere else than Dallas. It is an excellent club but usually have long queues and pathetic security checks. Sometimes it's so crowded that you can't even stand on the dance floor. P.S.-The bull ride is fun

I was the designated driver for 4 people. I was standing minding my own business drinking a water when i was approached by a few security guards telling me I was too intoxicated. After respectfully clarifying that i was infact sober and the designated driver and that they just made a simple mistake in their judgment call they proceeded to grab my arms and escort me out. They even aknowledged their mistake but said "we cant go back on it now". I tried to reach out to management about the problem but I got no response.

Terrible, they have a 16 year old doing security telling people who can and cant be in the bar when shes had 2-3 drinks tops in her life. Its a joke

As a bar: cheap drinks, lots of space for dancing, fun to watch people ride the bull, but beware of the excessive country/pop music. As a concert venue: fantastic! This place was designed for concerts. You can see the stage from almost anywhere, the pit is recessed into the floor, and you can even sit by the bar to watch the band. Please book more shows here.

Used to be good country bar but now it seems they have fallen into the unfortunate trend of playing hip hop, its a shame this was one the last few good bars in the kw area.

Edit do to not finishing my review: I have never been inside Dallas but I still give them a really good review. I was in town with a girl friend that is from Ireland. She had and Age card (Photo ID for People in Ireland that don't have a driver license.) When we got there the place was lit. However when she sold her ID there where problems because they could not make sure that the ID is valid or not. The staff went out of the way to try and figure it out but in the end could not let us in. They handled it super well which is why I still give them such a high rating. The only thing that could make it higher is actually going into the bar, lol

Wow, great place! I went bar hopping with some friends, we went to Irish pubs to mainstream pop-clubs, out of all of em I'd say this is the best bar I've been to in Kitchener. The set-up of the interior is nice and wide open, with a nice dance floor, bars on the side and great balcony on all sides overhead, there is even sports put on a projector screen in the back, though this is a country bar, not a sports bar, so don't expect too much from that side. Selection of country music is great and the bull riding was an awesome experience, and the beer was fresh and cold. The staff was also really kind, ready to provide you with anything you need quick. If I go back to drink at a bar, this is the place I'm going to go. I even recommend this to friends. Also forgot to mention the crowd here is really nice too, the also air in the club is really clean. Great environment and people. Thank you Dallas for giving me a great experience!

There was a mechanical bull advertised to be running on Fridays and Saturdays, yet when I arrived there was nothing. This was extremely disappointing as the bull was primary reason we had chosen to spend our night out at Dallas. I feel mislead and hurt, and will not be returning or recommending to friends. .

Lady at the coat check section lost my girlfriend’s jacket. We waited for 1.5 hours to speak with the manager, she frankly was useless and told us to wait until closing or come back tomorrow. Very poor service. They better give us a refund for the jacket.

I will never come back here, first time going and very disappointed.... We had bought tickets and I have no idea if they over sold tickets for the capacity they had, but we stood in line on New Year's Eve for 2 and a half hours and barely made it in before the count down... I understand that its a special day and any other night I would have understood the wait, but they were letting people in who didn't have tickets. The only thing I have to say that is positive is the bar staff that night were great.

Venue is great, bathrooms aren't overly clean. Staff is friendly. I've never had to wait outside but I'm never there before 11, and concert crowds are let in pretty quickly.
