Some other guys come to talk to me holding me or pulling me close to them. When I tried to get off of them, they looked at me angry as if I was doing something wrong. Never going back there again. All these reviews about the bartenders being scammers is absolutely true, and if management is turning a blind eye to it or are involved too that's a shame. Went Saturday night, the first drink I got was Corona , a male bartender charged me $9 per bottle for them. After that the female bartender at the same bar ( front of the club) told me the Corona is $10. Check out her picture wearing the bunny ears and beware of her. Went to the back of the room bar to get second round instead paid $9 Corona which is still way overpriced but at least that bartender didn't try to scam me further. After this experience I watched the 2 bartenders at the front bar exchanging grins when a drunk and distracted teenager hands her their card. Smaller hip hop room was hotter than main floor although far less people there. This club is not classy as in the description, floor, booths and washrooms were dirty , no hand soap, good place for drunk teenagers some didn't even look of legal age. I will let the kids new to the club scene enjoy and get scammed , not for me !

Been around for many years, still partying hard. There are a few different areas: big 2 rooms with different music and vibes in both rooms, and a beautiful rooftop patio. Lights and effects are well done, the sound system is well set up, and it's great to have options of different rooms. Different nights have different DJs and vibes. Fridays it seems to be more 18-21 vibe, Saturdays older and Sundays are industry nights. There is a dress code, sometimes they enforce it, so be prepared to dress appropriately. Drinks are okay priced, but more expensive on the patio, if you are going with a group best to reserve a booth and split on a bottle. Sunday nights woman's vodka drinks are $1, so thsts cool. I would probably give it a 5star rating if the woman's bathroom was in better shape, it's usually pretty gross 1/2 through the night. While the men's bathroom has an attendant and looks much cleaner. When I'm in Montreal I usually make sure to stop in and have a good time.

Went to muzique this past weekend and had a really good time with the girls! I love house but my girlfriends LOVE r&b which usually leaves me out voted when deciding what to listen to in the car and what concerts we are attending BUT to my delight they had two rooms one with house electronic ect. and one with r&b. The whole night we shuffled back and forth between the rooms and it was a really good time.

Been to that club few times before the covid closed everything. Saturdays are the most fun and bartenders are rlly pretty and nice if you stick to the big central bar, they’ll hand you small fire sticks and dance on the bar. Give them a smile and a tip and they will serve you nicely like any other club in the world!! My friend got sick in the bathroom and one of the bouncers helped us taking her out safely. Open the clubs back up legault!!

This place is an amazing place for anyone to come enjoy no matter what the occasion. You'll have a blast! If you're not, someone will make you will be the end of the night (if you can make it until then)! There is a reason why there is always a huge line-up outside the place: It's too good to be true. Bonus: Drinks are priced very reasonably! Drink more for less! I don't get why there are negative reviews at all... People who write negative reviews don't seem to get the grasp that at the end of the day it's a club... Try getting behind the bar and serve 10-15 people at the same time while pouring drinks and taking payments. Just be patient and you'll get your turn... Even as a regular I have to wait up to 10 minutes for a drink because it's busy and they dont play favorites. Everyone gets a turn.

This club is like no other! I’ve been in Montreal for a year now and have been everywhere but I always find my way back to Muzique. This club has 2 different rooms for Hip Hop and for House &Top 100 music, so there is something for everybody! The security of the place will make you feel comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly. In the warmer months, there is a rooftop and it is amazing to relax and cool down after some dancing. If you’re planning on going anywhere in Montreal, this place is a true example of what nightlife should be like.

This club gets credit for its location and its decor and vibe. But I find it has a bit of a sleezy vibe and a few of my female friends have had creepy experiences here. That being said I have had fun nights at Muzique. Drinks are pricey also but on the plus side queues are not usually too long.

Seems cool at first however they make u check your coat for 5$ before you can go up to get in. Then at the door to get in you have to pay another 15$. We tried to leave and couldn’t get a refund for the coats we had literally just checked. Not worth spending that much when other clubs in the area are free

Had a great time with my girlfriend. Open bar downstairs the night we went (of course the bartenders want to make money and will try to charge you a few bucks anyway), but we pretty much stayed on the rooftop terrace for our drinks. The bartender was amazing, a super friendly guy and we could hear the music and feel the bass through the floor even while we were on the roof. The music was fantastic, as well - if you're looking to go a little more deaf with every bass drop, this is the place for you - and people were very forward in their advances. Malgré nos efforts de protéger nos effets personnels, quelqu’un est venu dans notre section et nous a volé nos portefeuilles. Donc je m’empresse d’aller appeler ma banque dehors et je tombe de face dans les escaliers. Je sors ensuite appeler ma banque et je cherche à rentrer dans le club à nouveau car j’étais seule dehors et que mes amies étaient à l’intérieur. À ce moment là j’étais en panique ( a la base je souffre d’anxiété) et je voulais simplement rejoindre mes amies afin que nous trouvons une solution pour rentrer à la maison. Lorsque j’essaye de rentrer, les bouncer m’empêchent. N’oubliez, je suis toute seule, je ne peux pas arrêter de pleurer et je tremble. A force d’insister, ils me laissent entrer. Donc je vais rejoindre mes amies et en même temps je cherche une solution pour rentrer. Tout nos portefeuilles ont été volé=aucun moyen de rentrer chez nous. La sécurité nous force à sortir alors qu’ils voient que nous sommes en détresse. Ils étaient super aggressifs, ce qui a augmenté mon anxiété! En résumé, ils se sont trompés dans notre commande, nous harcèle pour du tip, quelqu’un nous a par la suite volé nos portefeuilles et ils nous ont foutu dehors helpless dans le froid. Vraiment, si vous voyez mon commentaire, svp réfléchissez à deux fois avant d’y aller.

Do you like your drinks made poorly with half the alcohol having missed the glass? Do you like when the dj changes the music every 20 seconds? Do you like fighting for breathing room? How about when the bouncer rips the strap on your new vest from his gruff pat downs? Well this is your club. Ive seen some clubbing, and this tops the list as the worst. Place is all hype and nothing in reality to support it. Waste of my night and money.

The bartender automatically added 25% tip when using the credit card machine. Pay cash if you don't want to leave an exorbitant tip. Also I went with a group of 5 girls for a bachelorette party and one thing that stood out to me in the club was there there are ALOT of guys. It doesn't seem like a place that very many groups of girls would go to dance... DJ was good and we didn't have to wait too long to get inside.

Terribly organized. Very rude at the door and unprofessional. I had a reservation booked for 9:30 pm on Saturday, July 31st, 2021. I called to let them know I was running late and would be there for 10:30 p.m. They said it was fine. Upon my arrival the promoter told me they gave my table. I travelled from Toronto, Ontario to celebrate my bachelor party. This is absolutely disgusting. It ruined my whole weekend. If you're going to Montreal and looking for a good time don't go here and head to BLVD44 OR Terrasse Bonsecour. REVISION: It appears customer service isn't their thing as well. If you look below at their response, they are lying. I legitimately was told it was okay to arrive at 10:30. I have no reason to lie. For me it's about principle. If you truly wanted to do something maybe you should try to rectify the situation of ruining someone's bachelor party because clearly it shows you don't care at all.

Was passing by and was told to try out the new drink menu from the hostess Melissa who was at the door. She was friendly and polite while she sat us down at one of their tables. Ended up having a sangria with my friend. Their bartenders were polite and profession. Definitely a place that i would return again and recommend to friends. I was a bit put off and worried about this place due to the others reviews but last night we were in town and this was the only place we saw where they was an actual line outside so we went in to see what it was all about. The atmosphere was awesome, the DJ was on fire and played a lot of bangers, hip hop tracks, old school, etc... There’s a door fee + jacket holding fee. The drinks are indeed expensive but if you pre-game (which is what we did) you should be straight. Maybe my experience would have been a bit worse if I had came with intentions to drink a lot inside.

Nothing like Muzik in Toronto. Was there Saturday Halloween weekend. Extremely small, cramped quarters. DJ sounds like he just puts music on random mode, so there was zero flow what so ever, songs do not line up (think James Brown followed by ACDC). Very expensive drinks and cover for venue ($8.50 for a drink, $15 for entry). Also thievery. 6 women had their stuff stolen right out of their purses that night. Not a very classy crowd. Anyone who rates this place has obviously never been to a real club. I certainly hope Montreal has better to offer. Otherwise I suggest you travel to the GTA, where even the lowest clubs are better than this.

This place is the definition of a decaying nightclub, go there to find an akward crowd, stupid cover plus coatcheck prices for something that is not even close to competing with the best of montreal. The music and speakers are average. AND the bathroom attendant, will just forcefully give you soap and a wipe, while demanding tip afterwards even though you never asked for the service. All these little things, that make this place try to squeeze the most money out of you and give you very little satisfaction in return is what makes this places a terrible club.

Amazing upscale club! Perfect for tourists visiting due to the proximity to downtown area and old port. The place is always busy, NEVER seen a slow night in there! Amazing nightlife experience! This club has been around for a decade and just keeps getting better and better! I love the terrasse in the summertime! The music is always fantastic (they have 2 rooms playing 2 different genres of music so you can go back and forth!). The staff are so much fun and I always get the best service! Keep it up guys!!!!

My favorite club in mtl! Here’s a few points to note before you reserve : The club is only following the government restrictions. Dancing is currently not allowed, and you must be seated where the hosted assigned you. The capacity is limited, it is not like pre covid. Dont reserve a spot expecting not to purchase any drinks. It is not fair to the club and those who do want to come in to spend. Aside from that, great place and music!

Zero stars. I called ahead of time twice and was told that we were guaranteed to get into this club. My friends and I are from the states and were excited to visit this club but when we got to the line, the bouncer wouldn’t allow my boyfriend to go in because he was wearing flip flops however he was going to let in my girl friend who was also wearing flip flops and I was wearing sandals. This club is extremely sexist and only wants females. The worst club experience I’ve ever encountered. I would never recommend this club to anyone.

I had a great time at this club. I have only ever been here once but the music was great, it was packed, and Fatman Scoop was playing. The prices for drinks were very high and my vodka cranberry didn't taste like there was much vodka in it. For a vodka cran and a beer it was $19, which is comparable to Las Vegas!!! Except in Las Vegas there are no cover charges, and for Muzique it was $15 a person (or at least it was on a Sunday night). You definitely need to pre drink before coming here. There was also a pretty long line to get in, but in talking to the bouncer I was able to skip the line. I did not use the washroom here so I can't comment on that but I would definitely come back here if I was in the area.

I went there on a Friday night. There was just too many vultures (guys). The music was okay, not that great to be honest. Only stayed for about an hour and a half. I would give this place 3 stars but I'm giving it 2 because the bartender intentionally tried to charge me for a bottle of beer when I didn't order it (I told him I wanted to "settle up" my bill and for some reason he heard "Stella" as in Stella Artois so he opened up a bottle and I said no thanks that I want to settle my bill, then he said okay, took the bottle of Stella away and brought me my bill including the price of the Stella and I asked him why he would add it and told him to take it off. He took it off the bill and I only paid for my 2 drinks. Out of annoyance I gave him a small tip.

My experience with this place ended at the entrance. Their bouncers are the least respectful. I guess the owners are the same as well as the people who frequent this place. One night, I asked a bouncer at the entrance: Me: ''Hey, is there anything special happening tonight at Muzique?'' Bouncer: ''Yes, my work mate lost 12 pounds.'' Really, come on? Is that an serious answer for my question? Some other night, I was passing by and I asked if I can take a peek inside to see if the atmosphere is on my taste. They didn't allow me. They told me, If I want to go in, I have to pay 15$. Come on, this is how you sell your place? There were a couple of guys coming out of the club complaining that it ''sucked'' and that there were mostly men inside. So this is how my experience with Muzique ended. At the entrance. Twice. Probably if you like to meet snob people, that's the place for you! Snobism starts at the entrance with the bouncers.

July 2021. Really poorly organized, I went with my friends and it was almost impossible to get a drink because there was only 2 waitresses serving the whole place and at the bar. We had paid 25 dollars (each one) to get in there but they never asked us for the tickets and there was people who didn't pay and still got in. Once inside the waitress told us we were forced to buy a 200 dlls bottle even though we had some drinks from the bar, so in the end they asked us to leave. They never told us we had to pay so much just to stay there even after paying the entrance ticket. Also the music was bad. So far, the worst experience in a club.

I was visiting MTL last weekend and had booked a reservation about a week in advance, however, no one had gotten back to me so I decided to give Musique a call since we were just a group of 2 hence we would not need a booth. I called right when they first opened and the receptionist I had spoken to was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. As I was asking her a question, she hung up on me and ignored every call after that. I ended up at a different bar and everyone I met who had called Musique that night had said the same thing about the receptionist. I believe this is an amazing place to have a fun night out, however, this one staff member had spoiled the whole night. Truly disappointed with the customer service.

(Original) Premier et dernier expérience , les doorman sont derespectieux ,ils te bousculent en te disant qu'il n'y a plus de place pendant qu'il laissent entrer que les gens qu'ils selectionnent, et je trouve qu'il y a un peu de raciste dans tout ça (j ai attendu 30 min et toute les filles qui sont rentrer sont blondes caucasienne ) j étais la bas avec des amies (une japonaise et une russe ) ça avait de l air que si t 'es pas caucasien ou ami avec du monde en dedans tu vas attendre des heurs. le service à l'intérieur est minable ,ton boisson est remplis de glace et ça découle de partout ,et si ton verre n'est pas rempli (même pas à moitié rempli) le barman te demande un tip(10$) . La place sent l'urine et la pisse.

So I went to this club with some friends, left my coat at the coat check and went on to the dancefloor. At some point we went out for a cigarette and the bouncers won't let me back in - with no explanation. I tried to explain that I would need to get my coat at least because it was snowing outside and it was -5C however they didn't care and pushed me outside (notice I was sober and very polite with them). In the end my friends got my coat and the night was ruined for all of us. Horrible staff. I do not suggest this place to anyone. It's funny to see that most 5 star reviews for Muzique are fake, calling the club a "company". Would you want to go to a club that PAYS $$$ for FAKE reviews? Keep away. Plenty of good clubs in Montreal, not this one though.

Typical nightclub, not amazing not horrible. 2 sections with one side playing top 40 and the other playing hip-hop. Decent dancing places, bouncers could be a bit more considerate but they are just doing their jobs so it’s somewhat understandable.

Worst bottle service. Took easily 30 mins to get the bottle and an extra 15 to get the bartender to give me the card machine. We got to the back section when it had just opened and settled at a booth that had no reserved sign or anything, to be kicked out half way through the night cuz of some kidz with more bottles that apparently called to reserve at 3pm the same day. Pazcale the server that "kicked us out" was pretty rude and even pushed some of my girlfriends. Won't visit again.

Spent the weekend in Montreal with my girlfriends and got an air bnb. It was my friends birthday and all my friends got in except for me. The bouncer was being agressive & an ass hole and coming up with different excuses not to let me in, he didnt even let me talk he just let in everyone except for me. Reuined my night and weekend. I wish I checked the reviews before going there. Terrible service. Look likes owner doesn't knows what staff does. My friend wanted water to sober up a little bit but he got refused for water because they were closing. Bartender keep on adding tip by herself without telling us. Montreal is a lot of fun and have some great places but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Aah where do I start. We stumbled upon this place in the street and decided to go in. The line was super long so we thought that was a good sign. There is a cover of $15 and charge for cost check. There's like 4 bouncers at the door who all look unfriendly and intimidating. I was under the impression that they're there to keep creeps away but they didn't do their job. Once in the place, it was huge and there was two rooms and nice ambiance. But the place is filled with creepy guys who assume you want them to touch you if you just glance your way. Literally you cannot escape these men in here, especially if you're with your other girl friend. Crazy. We had to spend the entire night warding off men and their arms. But the music was bangin so we multi tasked the night away. That's why I had to give it 3 stars. Also the female dancers in the stages were corny and too much.

Well I never written any review evr but I really want to write about this club and how cleverly they thug their customers. I along with my friends were in Montreal last week and after looking over all options we picked musique, we walked in the club and ordered drinks individually. The first drink I ordered it was 11 dollars which they gave me a paper receipt and later charged 20 when I returned the POS console to them. Imagine!!!!! Having not Recieved and tip option I paid the hostress 15 dollar cash at the end. So I had 4 drinks and they charged me 20, 23, 27 and 25. Imagine I realised one thing never swipe your card always carry cash and never tip these morons coz they don't deserve it.

For starters the line led down the entire block. Was literally standing in line for an hour.The place had great music , but they let wayyyyyy too many people into the club. Everyone was basically shoulder to shoulder, which led to a bunch of gross men blatantly touching you inappropriately. The actual place was kind of gross since the cielings and walls were dripping wet. The floors were incredibly slippery (saw a couple people slip & fall) Drinks are a bit on the expensive side but I wouldn’t expect anything less at a place like this.

A great sized club and I like that they have two rooms!! A great techno experience if that’s what you’re looking for. Second room was top 40 hip hop, but definitely not the best of a mix. This is my first experience at Musique, and I don’t think I would go back unless they had a special event that is more reggae / dancehall. The staff overall was impatient and seemed as if they were unimpressed with everyone and EVERYTHING. The bar tender wouldnt look up at anyone... and she didn’t even give a smile. The DJ started out SÓ strong in the smaller room and then just couldn’t keep a good dancing beat. When I requested a song the DJ looked so annoyed with me. . . Party goers are friendly enough and not very touchy which is really nice. I was also shocked at how sticky the floor was? The WHOLE floor. Overall though, it was decent.

Stay away! Went in the month of June 2021, first of all we were not told that there would be no food available and had to go out and get take away. Secondly, the owner and his friends were hanging out at the bar and were rowdy, rude and disrespectful to us two women. Specially one of the owner’s friends used abusive language at us and the owner did nothing to stop him or even apologize. I felt unsafe.

I expected better music, and better treatment from the guys as well. Too intense. However, the prices were still correct. But how do you guys keep it up with a such a bad way to welcome clients.
