(Translated) After making a reservation for 20 people there were four extra people the team let us in without any problem but after 30 minutes the bouncers came to take me and my friends out because we were supposedly too much at the table. Please note that we had just ordered and paid for two magnums of vodka and glass per unit for an amount of $ 500. The bouncers were aggressive while we were calm. They even took out the glass we had in our hands. Don't waste your time going to that other more deserving club. A note que nous venions de commander et payer deux magnum de vodka et verre à l’unité pour un montant de 500 $. Les videurs ont été aggresif alors que nous étions calme. Ils nous on même retiré le verre qu’on avait à la main. Ne perdez pas votre temps à aller dans ce club d’autre mérite plus.

No cover which is pretty attractive since the music was so so and the DJ's attitude could be better. Beer was not that cold so my friend could finish it. They have 2 floors but with the same music so I don't really see the point of it. Bathrooms are so small it's ridiculous. Overall place was ok but definitely could do better, it was very crowded and the clientele range age is under 26

The crowd is way too packed, too many people in such a small place. You could smell sweat anywhere, very humid atmosphere. I couldn't even have my own personal space to dance. The drinks were good, not great but definitely OVERPRICED! You atleast have to pay 250$ to be drunk! (My friends and I paid for 1500$ worth of alcohol) The DJ played trendy music, I enjoyed it but it's not a style everyone likes. It could be better. Waiting line is SUPER LONG! Especially on a cold -15 Saturday night in winter, we waited for an hour outside. The bouncer was very aggressive towards the clients, he said he would beat up anyone with a defensive attitude. Staff is to stay away from. Come on people, there are so many different places to have fun and drink. This is definitely not the one! 0 zero star if I could.

May 19th 2017 My friends and I went to Le Rouge around 11:30-12:00. Win total, we were 4 girls and 1 guy. Our male friend couldn't get in when us 4 could. We, the 4 girls, immediatly caught the "bodyguard" 's attention and allowed us to come in the club. The reason why our male friend couldn't get in is because of his normal shoes! Like nothing wrong with them, yet they weren't "pretty or trendy enough". Later on, another male friend of mine tagged along when we 5 waiting in the cold for 45 minutes. Many people went in the club when they arrived way later than us. We were skipped so many times! At the 2nd attempt, our male friends couldn't get in because they didn't allow guys in. Seriously, WHAT THE HELL??? YOUR CLUB HAS A GOOD VIBE, MUSIC AND DRINKS. FREE ENTRANCE & 3$ COATCHECK. You made me sick tonight; you let people in based on their appearance or sex or beauty. 0 respect.my friends and I are not coming back for a while!

I only go during italian parties because I don't know, I got bored if not italian ambience. It's not anybody else fault, it's only me. During italian parties, the ambiance is insane. In other days well I don't know but I think is as good. The club is not bad, it is spacious. Has 2 floors. It is very popular so you need to be in a guestlist and arrive early if you wish to get in.

One of the worst club experiences I have had in Montreal. I messaged the club asking if my friends and I could be put on the guest list under my name for my friend’s birthday. I expected the answer to be no, but to my surprise, I was told that this would not be a problem and to arrive before 11:30. My friends and I arrived before 11:30 like we were instructed to do and were told to wait in the guest list line, which was incredibly long. We waited for about 45 minutes, and when we reached the front, we were turned away because we didn’t have two forms of id, which we were not told to bring. They wouldn’t accept our student ids or pictures of our passports as our second form of id and told us we had to bring our actual passports to get in. When we tried asking why we needed two forms of id, the staff was incredibly rude, refused to answer our questions, and just pushed us out of line. Obviously we’re never going there again.

I’m from a different city we had guest list and one Bouncer had told us we couldn’t go in because of our shoes but said we could change and come back without any issues which we did I explained that to one short bouncer who DID NOT want to hear it! He did not even want us to explain the situation to any other bouncers and was extremely rude and then another much kinder bouncer understood because he had heard and let us in..the ignorant racist short bouncer at that point was upset and wanted to fight me and followed me INSIDE trying to provoke a fight which I completely ignored never in my life have I seen someone as classless in my life, you’re at work and trying to fight someone who is here to enjoy an evening with friends for absolutely no reason! Only reason it’s not a 1star because the music wasn’t bad however I don’t think I’ll be going again. Would also NOT recommend

Always fun to go to the rouge, we never had a problem resrving a table or a booth. Bottle service can be sometimes a little slow but it is understandable because of the amount of people. One of my favorite clubs in montreal, definitely would recommend it for any birthday partys !

We reserved a table a day before, got no email or call and got turned away at the door after being rudely told we had to do it 48 hours in advance. We waited in the second line for 45 minutes before being told we would be there for another hour by another rude and unneccisarily hostile bouncer. They told us if we got bottle service, like we planned they'd let us in, but said it was $250 + Tip and then took my buddy's card from him. After arguing they gave it back and we went to another club along with 3/4 of the line. There are much better places to go.

When we tried to leave (around 2:40), the bouncers started to push us out FOR NO REASON. They stole my jacket and threw me down the stairs on New Years. Here is the short recap: We purchased an $1100 table at Le Rouge. They let us in using our tickets, but when we arrived at our table, they refused to provide us with alcohol because we “didn’t get a slip at the door,” which is something we were never prompted to do. After about 45 minutes of waiting and arguing with the bouncers about the absurdity of us not getting our alcohol after paying $1100, they took me down to the entrance and finally gave me a slip. Slight hiccup in the night, but all good. However, as happens on New Years, I ended up getting pretty intoxicated, and lost my coat check coupon. At the end of the night, I went to the coat check and told them what had happened, and they refused to give me my jacket back (which is fair enough). However, they also refused to provide me with any alternative arrangements for me to get my jacket, which lead to a bit of an argument between myself and the staff. Out of nowhere, a bouncer grabbed me and threw me down the front stairs of the club. This ended up spraining my wrist pretty badly, which sucked because I was in Montreal for a sports tournament. I then proceeded to call the club on numerous occasions without answer. Finally, I send an email inquiring about how I could grab my jacket, and they said “they didn’t have it”. So, had to argue to get what I paid for, got thrown out (which was completely unnecessary), and they took my jacket. That’s a 1 star review for a club if I’ve ever seen one.

I'd give zero stars if it was possible. Management is extremely disorganized, promoters should not be given responsibilities seeing as they are incapable of handling any, and the bouncers need to develop some sense of spatial awareness. My friends and I had made reservations 2 weeks prior to the date we had decided to go, and we showed up at 9:45, 15 minutes before the opening of the club. The bouncers kept letting people without reservations in, even though we had been standing in front of them for 2 hours. They then refused to let us in, stating that they reached full capacity. We continued to stand in front of the club thinking that if enough people left we might get let in. During this time the bouncers threw a person on top of me. My friends and I came from a different province, expecting to have a good night here. Yet, our night was ruined. We are completely disappointed with management skills, in utter shock with the incapabilities of the promoters, and disgusted with the unnecessarily aggressive nature of the bouncers. We will not be returning and won't be recommending this place to anyone.

This place has the worst service I’ve ever experienced at any bar. The sad part was that it wasn’t even that busy. I asked a bartender for two drinks, 15 minutes go by and still no drink. I flag her down and ask her about our drinks and she tells us they are all out of the liquor required to make the drink. Instead of telling us she seemed to have forgotten about us until I asked her what was wrong. I then order a different drink, and she forgets about us AGAIN! Another 10 minutes go by and at that point I’m just done with this place. Never coming back.

Been here twice and unlike some other reviews I noticed I must disagree with them. I found the bar staff to be extremely friendly and professional. The bouncers were attentive and professional as well. Obviously there was a wait but that's to be expected when you go clubbing. Great music and amazing vibe. Definetly reccomend Rouge to anyone looking for a great night

So I want to leave a comment because the security staff handled a sexual assault terribly. On the night of September 10th my friend was sexually assaulted. I know these accusations can be hard to prove but there were multiple witnesses. I wanted to press charges. We pointed the man out to one bouncer and once we had the man was pointed out bouncer everyone left. I looked back and the man was gone. The bouncer had let him go. And said he would keep an eye on him. After that we talked to a manager and they said there was nothing to do because he was gone. Overall incompetent staff who did not seem to care about a completely destroyed 18 year old girl. How would you feel bringing your friend here for here birthday.

The only thing I miss from there is the music but the type of people there are either under age or older which is a very weird mixed crowd.
