This is a definitely a fun place to go in Montreal! I find it amazing that people are still able to sing (solo or group), while interacting with everyone else. Get a bit drunk and go for it! The drinks are nice, the public is cool, the DJ is awesome (great singer btw)! Great place to get to know new people, both anglo/francophone.

Awful experience here. Stopped here during my bachelorette for some drinks and karaoke. We ordered shots and a few drinks between the 9 of us and asked for some water to which we were told there's a policy in place where we're not entitled to tap water unless we all buy drinks (and that shots don't count). When our drinks arrived, one of the drinks' lemon fell on the table and instead of replacing it with another one, the waiter grabbed it from the table and placed it on my friend's drink. We paid and left quickly. It's ridiculous to disallow paying customers from having a glass of water. You'd think bars wouldn't want to deal with dehydrated, drunk customers passing out or worse on their premises.

Horrible experience. Friend ordered some water and they only offered her bottled water. When the time came to pay, the server was incredibly pushy about getting a tip. Made my friend pretty anxious when she didn't give a tip over a bottle of water. My friend was willing to remedy this and I even offered some change just to get him off our backs (it wasn't much but better than nothing). He gave me my change back and continued to harass my friend. Other friend had enough and told the server to leave our friend alone. We left after. Tips are for good service, which you won't find here.

The security agent at this bar is so aggressive and the manager too just said to me a low level uneducated word over the phone when I am trying to explain what happened in the bar not with me but to another cliente. The agent has anger issues THEN I understood the same behavior (manager and security) and it’s worthless to proceed. Good luck and don't go there for your own security guys!

Although I didn't sing, the energy and passion of the regular clientele gave me a fantastic night as a visitor to Montreal. The drinks prices are reasonable. The staff work hard to make everyone welcome and you should not miss visiting this bar particularly if you identify as gay.

I can not recommend this club. I went in with some friends to sing some karaoke and found that the DJ was only picking songs and people to sing them at random as he pleased. If you were not a member of his group or a woman he liked you didn't get to sing. He also told my girlfriend to get a drink and then she would be able to sing, making it sound like the bar's policy. A waitress also told us that there were only seats outside in the rain, even though there were empty seats scattered around the bar. There was an empty table with a pitcher at it which no was sitting at or ever sat there while we were in the bar. Give this place a miss if you want to have some fun at karaoke.

Looking to have an AWESOME night?! This place is (L)it. The energy is fun and super laid back at the same time. Absolutely love the vibe and look of the place. This is the seconde time this happens we were a group of 7 last week and we had a good time. Always ask for the receipts when you order and when you pay.. they see us "as a group a little drunk and enjoying our time" and the staff assume we are not keeping track of our drinks !!!!!!!!! keep your receipts Because the bar staff tend to say you didn't pay. This is an old scam coming from staff who think they can take advantage of their clients. I think the bar staff is skimming money off the cashiers. So always ask and keep your receipts !

Ambiance: Dimly lit karaoke bar, with a great selection of music conveniently located in the Gay Village, a (would-be) great option for those who don't feel up to clubbing. Service: (here's where the 2 stars come in) We entered the establishment last Saturday evening for a rousing night of karaoke, headed straight to the bar for some liquid courage and was met with two drunk bartenders, one of which refused to serve anyone who wasn't buying him shots. As we waited for our first drink, we saw said bartender take two shots with a couple of friends, the other more sober bartender had tended to us. Coming from America (the home of the free pour) we went back to the bar to buy another round within 20 minutes and again we were met with one (semi-sober) bartender taking care of all of us who weren't buying the overly intoxicated bartender shots. Needless to say, by our second round, we saw this bartender take 4 shots, and by the end of the night he had his face under the fireball machine, free pouring into his mouth. Karaoke: One of the best places to go for karaoke- they upload your performance (with your permission) free of charge for you to view next day, have a great selection and the karaoke staff are actually really friendly.
