Hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a club. Don't go if you're a group of guys. We called with 6 guys total, hoping to get a stand up table advertised on their website with a bottle of Ace of Spades champagne for $700. It was two guys birthdays. Not only did I pay the 700, and was turned down at the door, but the reason we were turned down was because we had no girls with us. I informed the older bouncer at the door that I had a confirmation email and a table, and not only did he not believe me despite my proof, but he didn't even look. His response was "Not gonna happen guys". I was told to fight the charge with my bank, which I did, and thankfully won. Unbelievable.

Arrived with a large group of dudes Saturday before 10:30pm with reservations made over a month in advance. There wasn't very many people at the location but they had removed our reservations from the list and asked us to buy a smaller table with a higher minimum fee. Not a place for your older crowd (23 years old and up )a whole bunch of teenagers and weird dj that plays a lot of french rap , and music you can't really dance to. Also their bottle service "table" is literally a section were you stand against a wall with a counter as no seats, never really seen that before.

My reservation for a table was all over the place a Gerant responds within days. We had been emailing and texting back in forth about my reservation and when I arrived on Nov 21st..he had no idea who I was? He was all over the place and seems to be disorganized and quite rude. Aside from that my friends and I had a great time, the dj was great. I celebrated my birthday and the girl who was serving us was really sweet. I forget her name but she was really accommodating and made sure we were enjoying ourselves.

Evening was live! Waitress' were on point; taking drink orders and getting them out quick. In my section the floors were sticky due to spilled drinks (which happens) ... Sort of wish someone came around to clean the mess, but again it's a club lol. Overall, it was a great time. When I come back I will be checking this place out again.

Similar to what others have mentioned; avoid this place. Especially if you are from out of town. We booked a booth for 10 guys for a bachelor party weeks in advance. The night of when we got there at 10pm they told us they double booked our booth and offered us a spot at the bar. They told of if we wanted a booth we would have to buy additional bottles (on top of the $2000 worth of bottles we already agreed to). We left and went elsewhere. Don't waste your time on this place!

Had an awesome time here after first going to Le Voute and getting bored of the house music. Peopl was super fun dance music, more like hip hop and pop and way more fun vibes. Don't be fooled by the neighborhood. I'm taking a second stab at this review -- I'm not sure how else to say this but on the night that I went there the crowd was was very rough, like wrong side of the tracks and seemed to be mainly African Canadian. I hope that's politically correct I'm just trying to report what I saw. And, by the way there are wildly conflicting reviews for this place - sexist, racist, short-fused bouncers so the crowd composition to a point depends on the night. The bartender asked the bouncer to kick me out saying I'd had too much to drink. The fact remains that I could not get my coat & purse because the bouncer physically grabbed me in his arms and lifted me in the air and carried me out. When I tried to go back for my coat he called the police. I'm not sure why, according to another Yelper the bouncer and owner have had physical altercations with patrons before, allegedly without provocation. Had I known this I would have elected to stay away. I was told by a police woman on the phone that the police know this club well and that they go there often. Anyways, happily for my friend and I all we got in the way of charges was two bogus tickets, each. One for being drunk in public which seems a bit entirely unreasonable since we were at the entrance to this nightclub and in the process of leaving. Second, disturbing the peace which was completely false. I was understandably upset because the bouncer grabbed me. My friend was given a public disturbance fine for asking the police questions like what are you doing, what is going on. I got arrested overnight and assaulted by the police without being charged, read my rights, allowed to inform my family or legal help. My friend had to call 911 to find out where I was because the police refused to tell her after giving her $500 in tickets for doing nothing whatsoever that was actually illegal. I had a very bad night. I have checked with the Municipal Court and it is VERY COMMON for Montreal police to dispense fines for 'public intoxication' at the entrance to a night club. So, please be careful. This is relevant to Google users because while Peopl is in theory in a 'good' neighborhood, embarrassingly enough mine -- it's in the Old Montreal supposedly prestigious it is extremely misleading because you can get into a lot of trouble when you walk into the wrong joint, hang out with the wrong crowd and the police are not tolerant at all at such places, bordering on downright abusive. So I would strongly suggest to most people considering this venue to go elsewhere. Read the reviews first. I usually always do that only, we trusted the neighborhood. If only we had we could have avoided an ocean of trouble. I for one have never been in this type of situation. Thankfully, prior to last weekend, I have never had to deal with being assaulted by a bouncer or the police, under any circumstance. And, I am in disbelief still at what happened. It is extremely shocking. This has brought to light that you do need to be careful while in Canada because this sort of thing does happen. And, I have since become aware of some very high profile cases. Canada is not like an extension of the United States, it is obviously another country and while the laws may be very similar, the same enforcement of said laws is not necessarily so.

The music wasn't bad, but the drinks were noticeably watered down. A portion of the crowd was also clearly underage, they should do a better job at carding minors. A major drawback was the bouncer hitting on the customers. This is unprofessional from an employee, who is also still on duty. We come to have a good time, not to be harassed.

Don't bother making a guestlist, whether it's through their website or promoters, your name will not be on that list. Don't be fooled by that confirmation e-mail, because the bouncers will not look at it. You'll end up getting in if you're "good looking" enough, but for most guys they'll ask to buy bottles. Also, most bouncers there are rude! The club is alright itself, nothing special. Oh! And forget about drinks, it's literally JUST ice.

WORST BARTENDER (DJ BOOTH) EXPERIENCE - RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! CROWD- UNDERAGE KIDS! The bartender at the dj booth is super rude and unprofessional. Paid 10$ for open bar, the guy was forcing me to tip him after I tipped him every single drink, when i decided to pause for one drink. He refused to serve me and called his bouncer friend to take care of the situation. Worst situation... After i mentioned it to the bouncer outside je wasnt surprised, stating that we better hit another place. He said that its not the first time people complain about that bartender. One of the worst experiences ever.... they have a special for ladies night untill 1am where u pay 10$ nd u get free bar. We would tip every drink. When we decided to not tip one single drink , the bartender at the dj booth rudely refused to serve us the drink and was forcing to tip him to have 1 drink. Spoke to the bouncers about that particular situation, they said they're aware of him, have received many complaints about him from customers in the past, but still haven't done anything. The crowd is underage, mostly 17-18 year olds.... not going back. If you want to have a great time, don't go there.

It's the worst place to go. Most bouncers there are rude. They don't care about you being a girl or a boy, they just gonna disrespect you. They also let you in if you're good looking enough, didn't care about ID (girls only) . It's unprofessional. We took a table over there, the music was good, but that was the only thing. It’s pretty small, the drinks are really expensive (12$ for shot). Their venue since COVID-19 greatly dimished. You can’t dance and the atmosphere is really cold even though they have great music. The staff wasn’t particularly fun, we were at the bar and the barmaid didn’t even ask me what I wanted when I sat down and looked in her direction for a while.

After reading a lot of the reviews i was a bit hesitant when my friends decided to visit here. We were met with some resistance at the door due to there only being 1 female in a group of 4. Fortunately we knew someone with a table but otherwise we would have been turned away, at only 12. So fellas come early. The crowd is very very young and dont know how to act in the club; pushing, dancing erratic spilling drinks as they walk. If you can find a section with ur friends thats the best. The music was fire every song was lit and high energy. The only really sour note is being forced to tip. I get it, I bartended and served at a student club for years and they dont know how to tip for shh and it sucks, but I think its unethical and probably illegal to demand a tip in exchange for service. Im not the first reviewer to bring this up and I hope that management takes note of this practise. This spot is great if youre a group of hot 16-20 year females, or high on M so you dont care about whats going on around you.

If you're out of town and you don't have a reservation, They want you to pay for a bottle even though they let other local in. Claim they're filled to capacity even though the line is pretty empty at 10:30.

Terrible management, booked and confirmed a booth for 15 with a minimum of $1500 in bottles a month in advance. Guaranteed bottle service and booth before 1130, arrived at 11 and are told the booth was sold to someone else and they still wanted us to buy bottles at the bar for a party of 15 ... either way the club was dead before we left looking for a new spot. Waste of time. Floors were ridiculously sticky not sure if dance floor or swamp.
