!!!Get your booking and seating arrangements confirmed in writing!!! POOR MNGMT A party’s seating arrangements took precedence over my party’s seating arrangements all because they were related to staff. They even had the audacity to ask if I got my confirmation in writing! Consequently, we were offered to sit somewhere else, and told us we can remain until the end of the night. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Our waiter brought us our bill before they served the cake that we brought, and refused our bottle service request because our table belonged to another party! Poor Mngmt! If you can’t handle the back-back bookings, then refrain, and prioritize customer service instead, it goes a much longer way. They kept going on about Covid restrictions but it’s all lies. The place was overbooked. You couldn’t even pass to get to the washroom or the entrance or anywhere without touching anyone. Seems like they are trying really hard to make up for the time and money they lost during Covid. Shouldn’t be anyone’s problem though. At this rate, they just lost my party.

+The only thing our group enjoyed was the delicious food. - You can't dance at all (must be seated all the time) but then the music is so loud that you could not talk. Google says that the bar closed at 2am but they kicked everyone out before 1am. The show was a joke with only 2 dancers (one's dress fell apart during her show), 10 mins at most ????. At the end, the super agressive waitress demanded a ridiculously high tip, she said it was mandatory and we could not leave until paid (no mentioned of that anywhere).

Best decor in Montreal ????????. Stunning style and design, gives a very classy, affluent and upperclass vibe. The staff uniforms give an elegance to the super club and a charm to the evening dance club. Luxurious wood work throughout the establishment, with opulent, classic bars, and vintage artwork throughout. A couple different lounge areas(and bars) on the upper floors, with beautiful views of the main floor. There are tantalizing and fun shows at approximately 10pm and 12am (unless it's a special event) with gorgeous dancers and areial acrobatics. The ladies run around and have fun with patrons all night. Super fun for birthdays ???????? Food is good, cocktails are amazing. Staff is attentive. There are negative reviews about the price and dress code, these are ridiculous and unfounded; when you go to a place where all the male STAFF wear tuxedos, with beautiful furniture and glass wear, you should dress appropriately and expect to pay! Even then their cocktails are beautifully crafted and responsibly priced! $9-16 for a cocktail in a place like that is a great price, especially since it's free entry and free shows! Dance floor isn't huge, but once the tables are gone the entire location is a party. It has a great vibe both for dinner and the club. Only thing: ladies beware bathroom is down a set of stairs(high heels are a bit dangerous) but very clean and pretty(good for pics) bathroom ???? I go whenever I can!

Love this place. My husband and I celebrated NYE2020 here (before things got locked down) and post Covid I attended a fundraiser with my girlfriends. The ambience is great. Entertainment is top notch. If you want to have a nice night all dressed up and are looking for classy place to go Bord'Elle is it. A friend of mine flew in to Montréal from California with a bunch of his friends for a bachelor getaway party and they loved Bord'Elle too.

Terrible service, rude and unreasonable staff. Had a reservation, was willing to buy 4 bottles. Promoter told our group of 7 we had to buy 7 bottles or we couldn’t stay at our booth for 8 lol. 7 bottles for a group of 7 one hour before last call. Absolute joke of an establishment

A mix of French burlesque show and a 2 level lounge club . There’s burlesque show with ladies suspended on the ceiling. Electric Nice atmosphere with people mainly 25 and + Decor is outstanding , simply Gorgeous! The only thing I disliked was the unclear bar rules which prohibit you staying too long next to it ?! As it’s restrain people getting room on the bar stand to buy bottles... Most of the staff were professional and pleasant. Thanks for that night

We show up on a Thursday night. We wait in line for 5 minutes while the bouncer is flirting with a young woman outside, talking closely while she tries to find something. He was kind and gentle with her. Then he comes up to us and abruptly asks if we have reservations. I said no that we heard it was an interesting place and wanted a drink. He said "we aren't serving drinks because of covid we are doing bottle service only." "Great, well get a bottle of wine" "No that's not what I meant" "So you're making all parties of 2 order bottles of hard liquor, and it's because of covid...that makes sense" Well that's the idea of our interaction. It felt like I was in one of those cheesy clubs that builds a line outside. I honestly think they did us a favor. Make sure you order bottles to fight covid!!!

Very good food, and the atmosphere is very nice! I personally really enjoyed it. When I read the reviews, I was afraid that this place would not be up to my expectations, but it was a very pleasant experience. And I’m definitely going back again!

Very nice place and good food for the price. The vegan tartare is out of this world! The taro chips are uneven though and some were way too salty and some too oily. Minor issue though! The decor is impressive and the bonus burlesque show was great! We had a front row view being on the second floor, which they graciously organized for my girlfriend's birthday. The staff was incredibly effective and our waitress was the best! Really friendly and made our night memorable. Only element I would say as a negative is that after the bottom floor started filling up, we got progressively less and less service. We waited close to 30 minutes for spoons for our dessert and to order a final drink. Overall great experience!

Service was excellent, from valets to sommelier to wait staff. We felt like special guests the entire night. They had a special shot which we were offered, I wish I could remember the name, but it had apricot spirits and fresh lemon, please try it! The show was very well done as well, talented dancers. Food was incredible, we had prefix meal which did not disappoint, I don't think there was a bad menu option. We left as they cleared the tables for the danceclub as the music wasn't much to our liking. Highly recommend, make reservations!

Great vibe. As of eleven pm it becomes a club. Music are older dance classics. Crowd not too young. Beautiful decor and fun entertainment (acrobatics)

Food was amazing, I had the salmon tartare to start, followed by the cod fish with vegetables, I could eat the salmon tartare over and over again. I think the appetizer salmon tartare cost 25.00 and the main course was 40.00, both worth it. My friends were also very happy with their meals, it was 5 of us. Our server was nice and attentive. The atmosphere was nice, ambiance was quiet as we were there the last long weekend in August. The cabaret show was nice but short that night, I am not sure if it had to do with with this virus, but the short time we saw it was nice. If in Montreal you must visit. Enjoy!

From the moment we arrived we had a terrible experience. The rudest staff in all of Montreal. Even after you confirm the reservation they still pretend like they didn't receive it so they can up your minimum spend. They sat us at a table in a dirty corner. Food was decent, takes forever to come. Would never ever return here

Overpriced, bad service. Bus boy was very insecure to do his job, waitress had a nasty attitude, barely present to take care of the table. Preferential treatment was very obvious: A bunch of restorators/industry people were let off the hook regarding covid rules (4 people max per table). No food after 10. Bouncers/security are polite. Show girls are great but it lasts maybe 10 min. ive seen them once between 10:30 and 1:00.

There is nothing like it in Montreal (or Canada?!) Insane! Only bar I know where one can say 1920's, whiskey parlour, nightclub, restaurant, bar, bottle service and girl on swing in the same sentence! A must see when passing through Montreal!

If you are looking to watch a burlesque show, this is not the place to be. I read an article on Bord'elle that mislead me to believe this was a good spot to attend a burslesque show. Our expectations weren't met at all with short 5-8 minutes performances, every hour. We quickly realized this was more of a supper-club. If you are looking to eat out, be slightly entertained, have drinks and dance, then this place is right for you. We ordered drinks and one appetizer. The food was okay, not memorable and pretty pricey for what it was.

We ultimately didn't stay for the dancing which is the best part (we were tired) so I'd recommend a later reservation. But staff was nice, friendly and accommodating. Answered all our questions and made my rum and coke in a big glass all for $11. Food was tasty, well cooked and came out quickly (but our reservation was for 6pm so it was pretty quiet). I would recommend! It's pricey, but worth it if it's your only big dinner for your trip, for example!

I usually do not write reviews but feel its important to do so. A few weeks ago I made reservations for my sister's birthday. We were told we can have the champagne lounge and our reservations were at 9 pm on Saturday night. The hostess called me 1 day before to confirm our reservation and things were good to go. When we arrived they took us to our table which was not in the champagne lounge. We asked to speak to manager who stated that the champagne lounge was reserved for bachelorette party who happened to be related to staff. We were also advised that we could keep sitting at table the whole night. We were satisfied with this..food was served we were very pleased with the food. When it came to 1130pm we wanted to keep table and opted for bottle service. We were given our bills and told we had to leave the table and we could not order bottle service. We spoke to manager again and said we had to leave the table. I left feeling disappointed and regretted the decision to book a milestone birthday there all together because of the lack of transparency among the staff and manager. Instead of enjoying ourselves the whole evening i was spending my time arguing with staff and manager on things that were confirmed prior to event. No concept of customer service or loyalty. And apparently my money is not good there. Made me feel cheap. Please consider carefully booking your special events with this venue as they are deceiving. I would have appreciated transparency and accountability..2 virtues that were not apparent and seem to be non existent. Very sad actually.

Bord'Elle is honestly the best Fine Restaurant/Fine Club in town. We come here every 2 weeks or so and we always have the best time ever. Morris, the owner, is the nicest and most humble guy there is. He's very caring with every client and he runs the place beautifully. The decor and the 20's theme is a charm. The burlesque dancing is incredible and gives a nice vibe to the place. Songs are good most of the time. If you're very unlucky you'll have a night where DJ will only play new and old hip hops songs, which reminds me of Champgnerie, a place I personally hate, but the vibe saves the night when that's the case, that only happened to us once. Most of the nights the DJ will be amazing, playing awesome and great pop success and dance music from old times and new ones. Drinks are not cheap but they're not crazy overpriced either. We highly recommend you getting a bottle of Vodka, it's the best ratio of alcohol/money you'll get. From coming here many times we only had two issues, once we had a small issue with one of the waitresses at the end of the party but they were very quick to apologize minutes after and invite us to come back, which we gladly did. Another night the DJ was mostly playing HipHops and when they would finally play a good song, it would be cut way before the end and that would kill the mood. Overall, Bord'Elle is our favourite place, we're a group of 10-15 people and we always celebrate our birthdays here or sometimes we just come to have a good night out. There is no other place we'd rather go.

Downside is the 8pm seating - they didn't tell us when we reserved, but you literally get kicked out at 10pm but the next seating. Too bad

Place is nice but had a very bad bottle service. Waitress was a little rude and absent for most of the night. We had no shooters for our second bottle for about half an hour and had to go get a bus boy to bring them. You would expect more from such a posh place very disappointed!

Service was not up to par. Had bottle service for 3 @ $250 min spend. The waitress took us to a table where it was dirty, but clean table right beside. Couldn't sit there b/c a group of 20 was coming but it only sat 8. She wipedowned the bar area and was expecting us to sit at the bar for $250 min. Would never go back. Waitress was rude & used Covid as excuse, but club was packed and no rules being followed.

Came here for a friend's birthday and wow what an experience!!! The staff were all very courteous and well dressed. The decor and ambiance was really one of a kind. Yes, some may say Bord'Elle is expensive but what you really pay in the food and drinks is also the EXPERIENCE. Dinner comes with a show before turning into a club. Yes it does get crowded, but that's just how it is when a club has a nice reputation ;) I will definitely come back again. Respectful and older crowd. Amazing vibe. Good music!!!!

The place has so much potential, with the décor and theme, however... They will go out of their way to make you feel horrible! They make sure to remind you that you need to gtfo after 2hrs, if you're a group, you're forced to order from the table d'hote even if you just want something small (I just got a tartar and not the one I wanted, as I was forced to take the one on that menu.... and without soy sauce, so therefore bland, because I'm allergic to gluten - so I basically was forced to eat something I didn't want nor like and pay for an entire menu I did not order nor eat). They also cannot cut cake for the life of them, and god forbid you don't eat as fast as possible, or else they will take your plate from under you... Worst customer service ever! Don't count on me ever coming back!

Had an amazing night there with my 4 girlfriends! Made the reservation for bottle service at 11pm online in a few seconds and got a confirmation the next day. When we got there we didn't wait at all and the hostess took us straight to our table without any issues. The service from our waitress Catherine was perfect. Had a great evening at Bord’Elle. Upon entry, the doorman was a real gentleman. Once inside, you are welcomed by the stunning decor. There was a good selection of cocktails For appetizers we had the oysters, salmon tartare, and tuna tataki, all beautifully presented and for the main, we ( 5 girls) shared the Chef’s platter which was AMAZING! The tomahawk was so tender and well seasoned, the shrimps were giant and tasty and the crab was delicately sweet. There was a huge amount of veggies underneath and melt in your mouth mash potatoes. Even though we were stuffed, we ordered the lobster Mac’n cheese which had big chunks of lobster which was delicious. For dessert we had the caramel carrot cake, was on the sweeter side but the fruits cut the sweetness well. The service was excellent eventhough it was quite busy. The entertainment was also very impressive. All on all, had a great time. The ambiance is great. Highly recommend if you want to go to a classy place, be treated well, and have some great food.

What a beautiful place! Recently went for a 30th birthday the service was impeccable! It is a bit pricey but definitely worth the experience! Also the food is absolutely incredible and cooked to perfection! Staff was super nice and welcoming including the door man / bouncers. Definitely recommend

Amazing decor, vibe and performances. They do small dance performances (burlesque style) every 30 minutes or so in the evening. They also convert to a dance club around 1030, the music and DJ were amazing, fusion of old school hip hop and rnb. Food looked really delicious, not a place for a vegetarian/vegan though.

Decent food, mediocre wine list, terrible service. Ordered the $250 chefs platter which came, quite literally 45 mins AFTER the rest of our table had finished eating. We didn’t even have seats to sit at to eat it at that point because they put our table away. The concept and execution of the club is great, but whoever is running the kitchen needs a lesson in how to fire a table. It blows my mind that they would feed half the table dinner and then bring the other half their food almost an hour later. Plan to eat before and have an app here instead. 4/10

10/10 would recommend! If you’re looking for a place that will bring you back in time this is it! I love the look, the ambiance, the foood and the live shows that they offer. Service is amazing, always on point with the bottle service and refills of drinks. this is a perfect spot of weekend night out, or a date night!

6 of us attended your restaurant last night to celebrate our friend’s birthday. We booked the early seating well in advance (6 weeks), travelled to Montreal from Ottawa and were looking forward to a fun night. Upon arrival, we were ushered upstairs, given a complementary shooter…and then things went downhill from there. Our cocktails took forever (30+ mins) to arrive and the 15 min show that we watched from our seats was so far away we could barely see what was happening. Our meals finally arrived at around 8:30. Flavourless poke bowls and eggplant parm that was undercooked and because the next seating started at 9, we were instructed to ‘finish up’... not enough time to finish our bottle of wine and we were told we could not order dessert. We asked to speak to the manager who never came and were made to feel very unwelcome. As we exited the restaurant, we found the manager outside on the sidewalk and expressed our disappointment, only to be fed a bunch of well-rehearsed lines. It was pretty clear he’d heard all these complaints before. I don’t recommend anything about this restaurant. Not the food, service or the entertainment. Save your time, money and go elsewhere.

Got food poisoning from their sea food plater (shrimps, oysters and lobster). Took me more than 24h to get over that severe food poisoning + my body got dehydrated. All this for a bill of almost 200$. Never again.
