Before 11pm, this place is great. Pool tables, arcade games, huge open space loft and a good variety of cocktails make it a fun place to chill, but the crowd that starts rolling in around 11pm is unbearable.

It's 50/50 with this place. The crowd is younger on certain nights. There is abit of an overhype but it's also a pretty unique spot and the music has been spot on every time I went. Although I've never had an issue with bouncer, I have seen people treated quite poorly by the gatekeeper. Suwu and Ecole Privee are the sister venues of this location,. owned by the same people.

Favourite club in Montreal for a night out! Drinks are mildly expensive, but its free admission, and coat check is $3. Amazing atmosphere, so so beautiful! Pool tables and arcade games too. Usually a DJ playing some bumpin tunes. Love it here

My friends and I went to Montreal for spring break and went here on Saturday night. When we got there the bouncer was extremely rude and would not let us in even though we were the only ones on line. When we asked him why we couldn't go in to the bar he pushed my friend in the street and he almost got hit by a car. The bouncer kept saying "goodbye" when we asked why we're not allowed in the bar. I would not reccomend going there they are rude and treat people not from Montreal poorly. So we went down the street to cafe campus which was a great place and won our business.

It has a really cool vibe because it's almost a mix of a club and a bar. They have lots of arcade games and a good amount of chill areas to sit and stuff. The shots aren't too expensive and it's pretty easy to get in if you go early enough. But later at night it's super super hard to get in. So go early!

I had a wonderful night there, but unfortunately it didn't end well considering the fact that I clearly asked the coat check girl if I left my Gucci hat with her it would be there when I came back. Although when I came to get my stuff...my Gucci hat was missing and I had to make a scene to get it back. Real vibe killer! Get yourself someone reliable and responsible plz.

Went there on a Friday night in the middle of summer. The music was good, the DJ was playing a good mix of old and new R&B and Hip-hop. They have some arcades machines if you ever get bored of dancing. The bar is CROWDED so make sure you have a spot because you won't get drinks otherwise. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting when I was there, and not even at the end of the night but from the beginning.... The crowd is very young (around 18-20) and dressed very laid-back.

I'd give this club a 5 star rating without a second thought if the bodyguards were a little nicer. I waited 1hour in line without complaining to be told at the end that i needed to be on a guestlist in order to go in.. But when I called they precisely told me there was no guestlist needed. The security was really rude and they looked at me and my friends as if we were lesser than them. Never going back there.

We bought $40 worth of beer and the bartender was extremely rude. Despite us being well mannered, he scurried around the bar threatening to kick us out for not tipping enough money. I told him that we would be around the bar again and will tip him again throughout the night but he quickly gathered security and kicked us out for not tipping "enough" money, which he quickly suggested was 50%. It's like a bunch of children running a bar. We weren't even aggressive towards the bartender. Would not recommend.

This place has the most unfair entry process I've ever encountered. Both in Montreal and in Toronto. The bouncers consistently favour women over men (surprise surprise - but to an extreme) and their personal connections. I can't even ever say I've been in either of these locations because I have been unsuccessful in getting in all 3x I've attempted. Sad.

If you are 18, good place to meet people. If you are older, do not expect to get into a fascinating conversation. Unless you meet someone else that went there without know what that place is. But for what it's worth, great ambiance and atmosphere!

This used to be one of the different bars in Montreal. The whole place is laid out like an apartment, that's why the name. There are couched, beds etc. Now, I think too many people know about this place and it is always too crowded. Try to get in early.

Obnoxious staff- Apartment 200 quickly displayed that they cater exclusively to the bottle-service crowd, and they don't even do that well. Attempts to order a beer were accompanied with rolled eyes, attitude, and a general unwillingness to accomodate literally the most simple drink order possible. Apt 200 had nasty bathrooms, even for a club, and extremely sticky floors. It wasn't even that busy, so that couldn't be an excuse. In a city with so many nightlife options, I don't know why anyone would choose such a terrible atmosphere, with atrocious staff. I certainly won't ever again.

My first time at Apt. 200! It was for a private event (office Christmas party), which meant we got the place to ourselves till they opened it to the public. The food in our case was a buffet style which was ok, I do feel like it could have been better. The music was great, and I absolutely loved the arcade aspect of the bar. All the games (especially Pac-Man) was my favorite part of Apt. 200. There are also a lot of areas for a person to sit and chill. The dance floor was pretty tight and crowded, just the right vibe. I would recommend if you are coming in with a group of people who feel like doing different things as there is something for everyone.

I have to leave a no star review for their customer service here. I lost my coat ticket because of how crowded it was inside the club. When I told the lady who was in charge of the coats about the situation, she immediately started acting annoyed and calling me bro which was so weird and unprofessional of her as a worker here. First thing she did wasn’t trying to help out instead, she was telling me to either get out of the club or stay until 3am to get my coat which didn’t make sense at all because I’ve never encountered this type of rudeness ever in life. She immediately asked another guy to help her explain the situation. I started crying because they wouldn’t give me my coat back no matter what. The guys then said if they could have a look at my friends ticket number then they’d be able to figure out my coat number. They should’ve told me this in the beginning. But instead, they had to put me in such embarrassing and helpless situation. They only did what they should’ve done when I was acting vulnerable and helpless. This’s such a joke and I don’t know what to say about this place.

I went to Apt 200 in Jan of 2016 and loved everything about this place. HOWEVER, Dec 2016 comes along, my stepbrother is in town, and I wanted to take him somewhere fun on a Thursday night. Apparently we had to be on a guest list, when there was NOBODY around St. Laurence street anyway. The bouncers were so rude, I never want to go there again regardless if I had a great time earlier in the year at that place. We ended up going to Nestea down the street and had a much better time there, and bought more drinks than what we were gonna spend at Apt 200.

By far one of the most talked about and hyped up clubs in mtl, unfortunately you have no hope of getting in unless you book guest list and look like your ready to empty your bank accounts. However, it's a very unique establishment - despite the basic crowd - and should be on everyone's club bucket list. Personally I went on a Wednesday when it was less crowded and had a great time.

Great vibes, the check in is strict, only the coolest good looking people can get it, you have a certain look to get in. Get there at 10pm to have a chance, if not only hot girls will get in especially at summer. This place has a reputation for a reason, you get in, you feel special. I was with a group and the girl at the coat stand was impolite and rough to people. If you want to be told to shut up when you trying to tell girls with attitude not to get rough on drunk people don't go there. Food was great and the ambiance top side was awesome. Being insulted as I went out was a downer. I won't recommend the place because it broke the whole evening mood. When you pay to reserve the whole place I think you deserve respect from the employees.

The place is very nice, they have good music but on the weekends it gets too crowded which makes it not that enjoyable. The worst part are the guest lists, a guest list with them isn't worth anything. They can decide to cancel it at the door if they realise that other people will spend more money then you on bottles. We were a group of 10 with five girls. They told us we might of gotten in if we would of came earlier but we got there at 11pm and the guest list is supposed to be good until 12pm. Very unprofessional but still a nice place.. I would go again but never on a weekend or for an special event.

Our office held our private annual Christmas party here. Located up a flight of stairs the coat check is on the ground floor. Approximately 80 or so of us attended at the peak and there was still ample room to move around. Lots of seating, arcade games, and pool. Limited selection of drinks for our event, but they were well-prepared. They also catered food to us which was very good. One of our friends got sick and passed out and there was an experienced staff to help out. We managed to get him home with their help and they even cleaned up after him. After our reservation was up the regular clientele started coming in and the music went up. Some younger people were dancing and enjoying themselves. Only downside is the male bathroom urinals are very low, not great for us tall people. I've never been to this place otherwise but I heard it's choosy with its clientele. If you have a chance to visit, I recommend. It's basically a loft apartment decked out with a bar.

Amazing atmosphere, drinks and great music almost all the time but the reason I give it 3 stars is for the horrible bouncers or rules he must follow. Impossible to get in after 10pm, can't get on a guest list unless you reserve a table with a bottle which cost like 200$ ... This is a great place and you can have a wonderful time but come early, that's all I am saying

When we first walked into apartment 200 we were amazed by the atmosphere and hypnotic vibes. However, we soon realized we had been skaved by the owners in question. Both me and my broski were charged $10 for entry while my girlfriend's were charged the low low price of nothing. A staple in the club scene but usually met with basic needs such as space to stand and semi-affordable drinks. However, the $5 shots and being forced into a corner had us leaving with nothing good to say. Not to mention the bouncer was verbally aggressive and rude towards my friends and I for wanting to grab our coats. Not to mention the patrons were beligerant and confrontational towards my friends and i. I would skip this bar and go to a Montreal staple such as distillery (bar) or sky (club) for good service and good vibes. Will not attend again.

The service is poor, i changed a 20 for quarters in their machine (since i didn't have any smaller bills) to play some videogames, of course i did not spend all and asked 2 bartenders if they could change me back 10dlls in quarters for a bill, their dumb answer was "no, quarters are no good for me" not a very smart answer they are probably ordered to say since they both answered the same way, anyways ended up spreading the 10 dlls in coins along their bar, they must be in the garbage since they are no good there.

LOVE THIS PLACE ! We came to visit from boston and came here every single night. The staff was awesome and friendly! The music was beyond great very mainstream/ hip hop and trendy. The drinks were very expensive and almost seemed watered down at times.

Yes drinks are overpriced, yes the service isn’t great on weekend nights. But if you’re going to a club that has some level of exclusivity those are all expected. Expect rude bouncers and snobby bartenders. In terms of a crowd, hip hop music and a well setup space Apt. 200 is hard to beat.

SHADY COMPANY TERRIBLE SERVICE. Two major problems with this venue, coat check either stole my $350 jacket or messed up and gave it away to someone. Second The bartenders tried to rip me off by not giving me back my proper change. I checked my $350 jacket into the coat check at the beginning of the night and took my ticket stub (I still have it, it's number 778). At the end of the night I go to collect my jacket and the girl working the coat check takes my ticket stub, goes through the jackets and comes back shaking her head. I ask what is the matter and she speaks in french/broken english to me claiming she doesn't understand english. She tries showing me some other jackets to see if they are mine and I keep saying no. After a minute or two of back and fourth exchange I gather that she wants me to call in tomorrow for the jacket and ask to speak to the manager or something and she gives me a number. I call the next day and the number that I call is a voice message half in french half in english saying to either email Appt. 200 or text them. I do both and send them a message to their facebook page. I did this 3 days after and then once a week after. Still no response or anything. This is absolutely outrageous. I was visiting friends from out of town and had to leave Montreal without my jacket... I got the vibe that they look down upon those who do not speak french there. Terrible terrible customer service, I would stay clear of this place and their shady company practices.

Very snobby bar/club. One of the waiters took our beer glasses (5 to ve precise) before we were done and without asking us. When I went to ask him why he had done that, he kept denying it and did not offer to replace them. I kept arguing with him until he decided to ask the bouncers to throw me out. So this place's policy is if you disagree with someone you get thrown out. Never going back and never recommending it.

The place is a very hip bar with good crowd. Though this place is popular amongst young people. The music is loud though can be more louder. Enough place to dance or chill on sorting of couches and sofas. There are couple of pool tables along with some retro arcade games. Drinks are ordinary, regular which can be found at any club. Definitely a visit on weekends, though expect a lineup if arriving after 10pm.

This is such a dissapointing review because I really do want to love this place and the potential is there. The bottom line is that if you are a group of girls, you will get in no problem. If you're a guy trying to meet his friends (at 9pm on a tuesday night, I swear to you, there was no one in the bar), you'll get rejected for not being with girls! This is exactly what happened to my boyfriend when he tried to join me and my friends. The bouncer was downright mean and even told my boyfriend "why didnt you tell me you were with girls?" I myself had a good argument with him where he turned around and placed all the blame on me. Bottom line, go somewhere else where they will actually respect you.
