Sunday night 7:00 pm. Service is very very bad. The waitress is alone there is nearly 25 people in the restaurant. The RIBS are really disgusting. Way too cooked the meat falls off just touching it. They seems to have been microwaved. The wings are very very good, Cajun rub thumbs up for that. Chilly is just fine, they claimed to have win with that, but I'm sure they didn't win with the plate they served us. Piggy poutine, no cheese curd, grated mozzarella cheese. Though the sauce tasted good and the bacon on it gave it a good taste. If I visit Belleville again I will not come here for sure. Price are just fine. Not too expensive.

This bar is not great. If you’re looking to watch the hockey game you can most definitely do so. The food is not anything to rave about as it’s bar food - they do have a good selection of beer however. The parking is horrible as they do not have many spots and it’s on a busy intersection between George and Lansdowne. My experience with the staff wasn’t horrible but they didn’t stick out in my opinion, not really friendly.

Hands down has been the best place for wings in Belleville for ever! I don't order anything else! Other 'wild places' come and go but eventually serve wings HALF the size of competitors. While Monday is "wing night", I like going on Other nights where it seems I get a bigger wing "bang" for my buck.

The fiancé and I went to SlapShots for the first time yesterday. There was a party of over 15 people, which took all the decent 4 seating tables. Which gave our party of 4 an option to sit beside that massive group, or take the table in front of and beside the bathroom and till. Not long after getting our water, we left to go to Kelsey's. Never going to SlapShots again.

Food was pretty good, but don’t come with a group. We reserved for a team, so they knew we were coming and we were told they would have the staff to handle it, but were not prepared. 2 hours after getting there, they were so happy to bring out the last meal, until I told them there were still 7 kids with no food. They did there best to correct and didn’t charge for latest meal, but was in general not a good experience.

Food is good, pricing is decent. Definitely one of the better places in town to go to to eat. They are known for their wings in the Belleville area, which are good sized wings done to near perfection (most of the time. However you will occasionally get lesser quality wings, but that sort of thing happens anywhere) served in a couple dozen flavors. Well worth going, although their beer on tap is flat at times. Recommened place!

Went to Slap Shots with a team, reserved well in advanced and they were totally unprepared for our visit or numbers. You would think that a sports bar near an arena would know how to handle a group of players and their parents. Waited over two hours for food and when they thought they had all the food out, they were still missing 5 meals!! Kids were starving as we came straight from arena. Waitress was less then friendly and frustrated with our group, but she was the unorganized one. Manager not on site!!!

After reading great reviews and hearing many praises from locals around Belleville we decided to go out to Slapshots on a Friday night for some wings. It was a terrible experience. The dining room seemed to be understaffed with servers running around like chickens with their head cut off while management stood by the counter doing nothing. After we ordered we waited 45 minutes to receive our food - I ordered fish & chips and my boyfriend ordered wings. The wings came out before the fish & chips with the wrong sauce and they were cold at the bone. The fish & chips was mediocre - even though we had to wait to receive it after the wings, the fries were room temperature. The server was so busy we had to wait 15 minutes before we could even tell her that we received the wrong wings. Due to this bad experience I have no intent to go back nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Slapshot Bar & Grill is the place to go to before attending a Belleville Senators game. The restaurant is nicely decorated and looks very comfortable. Customer service is excellent and everybody is particularly friendly. Food and drink selection is solid. Prices are reasonable as well.

The wings are honestly the best in or out of town, literally no competition! I just can’t get over the terrible service! I am a regular here and have never had a good experience with the service. I can’t get served right away and NO MATTER WHAT, nobody will answer the phone to take a take out order. Such a let down for somewhere that has food like they do! We gave Slapshot another try on a Monday at 1pm. Only one person trying to serve all tables, man the bar and man the cash. Five stars for their wings. We came on Monday, where the wings were 85¢ apiece and HUGE. I can usually put away a pound quite easily, but after 5, I had to tap out. The suicide sauce is quite hot, and the hot sauce is great. The wings stayed crispy even into the next day when we had them for lunch.

Seriously understaffed. This has always been an issue with the place. Food used to be great, but the last 4 times I have been there (been going there for 9 years now) has been so disappointing. Undercooked food, can't get drink refills, have to go to bar to ask for silverware (cook served us our Luke warm food). My favourite meal there used to be the hamburger. It's always dry and tasteless now :(. HIRE MORE WAITRESSES! I won't be going back anytime soon... I'm sorry that we have to break up Slapshots ????

We had to leave after a hour wait and still no food. We ordered Montreal smoke meat and two orders of wings. Not 20 other ppl in the place on a Saturday night. Got drinks and two salads in a timely manner. Excuse was take out was busy. Should have been told if it was that crazy at time of order. Drove into town for nothing. Went else where had food in 15 and it was busy. Lindsay was very friendly so issue is definitely kitchen. Still billed me for salads and 3 pop that I feel they should have comped with appolagy and " try us again." No !

I have one thing and only one thing I like from than the chicken wings and quite frankly I refuse to keep supporting local businesses when thayr weiting times for pick up are exceeding 45 to 50 min every time i call for pick up this is ridiculous for you as a restaurant to tell a weekly customer this ridiculous times for pick up ! Step up you re game hire more people get the service faster for customers every time I order cost me 60 70 $ and yet u are telling me 50 min weit time !! Horrible service I do not recomand to order take out from here !

One of our favourites in the Belleville area for pub favourites....especially wings! Spectacular wings in fact. Family friendly, expect kids to be there. You can reserve tables here in advance for teams, parties etc. At times very busy, so a wait could be possible. Always sports on the many televisions around the restaurant and bar area. My only complaint would be that they often don't have many beer options as advertised. Either the keg is dry and there are no more kegs or they haven't "received their shipment yet". Other than that, expect standard pub fare and excellent wings and appetizers!

Great place for your favorite pub foods. I though the prices were decent. The waitress came to us frequently, and we got are food quite quick even though it was busy. I recommend the full pound burger.

I"m sorry to say that my visit to Slapshop Bar and Grill tonight was not a good one. The dinning room and also the bathrooms were very filthy. Not just in certain areas but everywhere I looked. There was little piles of crumbs built up in the corners and stuck there and caked on black dirt (probably grease) along the edges. The walls were dirty and a good wash. And I realize that there are going to be some crumbs that drop off the tables and stuff gets on the walls but this was really bad. The bathroom toilet bowl had a pink rim around it and also extremely dirty. the last time I was there 1 year ago the experience was great.The food was just good (not great) and in comparison from the last time I was there, the standard has dropped. I will say that the staff is very warm and friendly. Sorry for the bad review but I think it's better to be told so that the establishment can rectify it. The outside of the bar is very inviting. My husband, stepdaughter and I just finished having a terrible dinner experience at Slapshot Bar & Grill. To start with my husband ordered unbreaded chicken wings and I ordered a cheeseburger. The stepdaughters order was fine. The waitress Kalla accused my husband of ordering the wings breaded until I stepped in and told her that he had ordered them unbreaded. As soon as she took the wings away I found a huge long brown hair in my hamburger. I had been eating my french fries because I was very hungry. She took my plate away. We waited over half hour to get the wings and hamburger back. My husband had said he didnt want the wings and would never be back. I just wanted to eat my food and get out of there !! When my burger came back they gave me back the few fries I had left on my plate reheated. I was so mad at this point. After waiting all that time they could have gave me fresh fries at least !!! My husband ate the wings but he was not impressed with the service and neither was I. Needless to say we will not return to Slapshot Bar & Grill again.

Terrible service! My first time I went there I booked a spot for 15 people usually restaurants are excited about that business but they did not even reserve one table for us. Wait over half hour to get someone to serve you then another half hour for them to bring your drinks. Waited there with 15 people for over 4 hours by the time we were done we were still chasing them around for 45 minutes for our bill. Another time my wife found a fly in her drink the guy made a joke at the end to her to tip him she was going to until then. My last time took the cake and for this reason I will never step foot in there again. 10 people went there after a long day to get some drinks and have dinner. The guy was so unorganized that he would take 3 peoples orders at a time then walk off while people are trying to get his attention. A small section of the table would be ordering food when they are bringing out food for the other side. Meanwhile on the opposite side of the same table they did not order their food until WE WERE PAYING FOR OURS! YOUR BUSINESS IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS AND YOUR FOOD IS WAYY OVER RATED. Try being nice to other people instead of your regulars. You will do better that way. Who knows those other people that are not regulars would probably become regulars.

The service was excellent and the food good. It had been a couple of years since our last visit because of Covid-19 but it hadn't changed much. My wife tried the new replacement for the Angry Orchard Cider. She didn't care for it much. She found it left a very bitter after taste that detracted from the flavor of the food.

Driving along from Montreal to Toronto I saw this place, and I was very impressed. The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was inviting and the food was great. The fish and chips came with a good coleslaw, a good amount of fries and what looked to be homemade tartar sauce. The fish itself was very crispy and thick, and presented nicely (we forgot to take pictures of the fish). The price of the food and beer was amazing especially for a potential pitstop where they sometimes soak your wallet. Would love to come back and try their "famous wings".
