Food is always consistently good; we miss the endless soup and bread but love the 5/$40 cold pasta deals you have right now in the microwave containers. We like to use them as sides for dinner & lunch for work.

Terrible experience! Beer bottles left on the table, had to ask several times for glasses. Appetizers plonked on the table and entrees appeared in just under ten minutes - even before we had finished with the appetizers. I asked the waitress why we were being rushed, apparently very few diners in so the kitchen was unusually quick. We asked for the manager and got the same story. The manager then left and we finished our meal surrounded by all the dishes since the appetizer platters were not cleared away. We next saw the manager when she came with the bills. No effort was made to redeem what we all thought was awful service.

Your waitress and kitchen staff insisted that the chicken parmesan was not processed chicken. But it WAS processed, almost tasteless mush. This is NOT acceptable especially if you are charging over $20.00 for it.

We went to ESM in Belleville a couple of weeks ago. We wanted to eat on the patio but it was closed because it had rained. We decided to get the family pasta takeout meal, even though there was just two of us. We got spaghetti and meatballs, chicken tetrazzini, salad and bread. They sent out dishes because they knew we were eating in the car. My husband doesn't like salad so he ate the whole double pasta himself. I must say the manager did all she could to accommodate us because we couldn't eat there and we were going to eat in our car. The whole thing was $40 plus tax. It would have cost us that for 2 single pastas, so eating in the car sucks but double pasta does not.

The 2nd time there in the year . Both visits have been excellent. This particular one my son had the Caesar and he likes it spicy and the waitress was phenomenal at making him the best one hes had in a long time without having to add anything to it. He ordered the Hells kitchen special. The chicken was very good and spiced well but the fries were not crispy or flavored enough but it was still a good meal. I ordered the Chicken tetrazini which was extremely tasty along with theTomato garden soup which was absolutely delicious. my son had their standard salad which was also awesome. Once we were done we were sitting enjoying our drinks and waiting and the waitress didn't come. She apologized when she finally arrived and when when she brought the bill took 20% off because of being so late cashing us out. This was totally unexpected and unnecessary and I added that 20% reduction to her tip. Her service had been impeccable and the fact that she did that on her own amazing. Will definitely be back again

I was so looking forward to sitting in and having a good meal, boy was I ever disappointed. They are not doing all you can eat salad , they don't tell you but the menu still says all you can eat. I wanted more salad and I couldn't get it. Our server Hanna, was not good too high strung and complaining to the customers about her personal problems about a guy and that if she started to cry not to worry. Loaf came with no knife we had to break with out bare hands. No forks or knives when our food arrived we had to wait 5 mins to get our utensils. The food over cooked. They said that they had a party of 20 and ran out of utensils. What restaurant like Eastside Mario's will run out of utensils because of a party of 20. For the price people pay for the food buy more utensils.

Food was really good but got ripped off when it came to the salad. My spouse's order had the all you can eat salad included in it so I ordered something that didn't have it and figured I would just have some of hers. All was good until the cheque came and they charged us for an extra all you can eat salad because I had some of hers. If you aren't allowed to share the salad with other than why did you bring out more than one salad plate?

Literally one of the best experiences I've had in a big box restaurant with my kids. Toddler was acting up. Staff let him watch them cook the food and bring it to the table. Friendliest staff at any east side Mario's I've been to.

Went for a nice family dinner, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Ordered lasagna to find it over cooked. Sides were burnt to a crisp. Wife had the carbonara, pasta was dry, like it was under a heat lamp too long. Questioned staff, told that was normal. *****Update: was contacted by management and they have made clear this was not the norm and have dealt with the whole ordeal incredibly well. Made more than enough effort for us to give them another shot, as we have never had a bad meal prior to this experience.

Decide after many years to give Eastside Mario another try, to my disappointment I have to say, was no where near worth the price. The food is over price, small portions and my salad was swimming in dressing. I ordered the veal lemons, the fries and veal was so greasy had no taste to the food, very bland. It did not change my mind about this place it actual confirmed that it is still not up to standard. Complaints taken to management and they did not even come to see if they could help. As for my server she did do all she could to help to her capabilities and she was very pleasant.

Good Food. A Bit Pricey But Worth It

We had received a gift card for Christmas and decided to go to Eastside Mario's for dinner. Everything was good and if you are really hungry, you could fill up on bread as they just keep it coming if you want. Portions are good but I am more of a meat person so I would prefer more meat in a regular meal. Prices seem a little high for a pasta meal but it takes time to prepare, so I guess you pay for preparation. My friend enjoys pasta, so she enjoys it more then I do.

AMAZING! I have to honestly say the best mozzarella sticks I've ever had!!!! Italian wedding soup and salad was amazing along with our main course ! Had an amazing server Wendy... thanks for such an amazing dinner/time ♡

The East Side Mario's franchise is a Canadian chain that offers casual Italian/ North American style dining mixing experiences from Old World Italy and Contemporary North America Italy. The Belleville franchise restaurant did a good job to screen me for covid protocols and directed me to my table that was sandwiched beside the bathroom and kitchen. This area is terrible, not only is it blocked off from viewing the rest of the ambience of the restaurant, it was also cold when people walked in and out of the restaurant and noisy from bathroom and kitchen sounds. I asked to get relocated to an acceptable area and they placed me in a booth close to the bar and big screen TVs. The tomato soup tasted good and was well complimented by the freshly baked roll of bread. I also enjoyed the chilli pepper that was mixed within the sausage penne pasta. The service and prices were ok. If you like my reviews, videos or photos don't throw tomatoes. Just give a buddy boom, buddy bing and a thumbs up.

It was my first time at Mario’s. It was a nice family restaurant to enjoy Italian cuisine. The ambiance was nice. The food quality was ok & not too fancy. The portion was reasonable. They offered free refill of fresh bread, soup & salad if you ordered their main course. It was a bit pricey but the service was good so it was worth it.

I placed an order when in Belleville for my girls to eat on the way home. After placing the order through the call Centre, we were filling time until it was ready and I got a call on my cell from the location manager, Bobbie (sp?). She wanted to confirm that I only placed 1 order, since the store received 2 orders exactly the same. I thought that the customer service was outstanding and I sincerely appreciated the call from Bobbie since I didn’t place 2 orders. To top it off, when I told her that we were right outside she has our food ready in less than 5 minutes! A great restaurant, amazing staff and fabulous food!!

HUBBY AND I HAVE THIS FOOD EVERY FEW MONTHS FOR A SPECIAL TREAT.......LAST TIME WAS ABOUT MAY 2020 (APPROX). TONIGHT WE ORDER THE IDENTICAL THING....HUBBY PICKS IT UP WHILE I SET THE TABLE.....WE OPEN THE BAGS OF FOOD AND THE SALADS LOOK LIKE THEY ARE SIZED FOR A 6 YEAR OLD. WHAT HAPPENED ?????? THEY SHRUNK CONSIDERABLY SINCE LAST TIME WE ORDERED. WE ONLY LIVE 10 MINUTES FROM EAST SIDE BUT I NOTICED THE LINQUINE CREAM SAUCE WAS BARELY THERE ALSO. I ALSO FOUND A COUPLE OF SMALL PIECES OF PLASTIC (TINY) IN MY MEAL THAT BECAME LODGED BETWEEN MY DENTAL IMPLANT AND THE TOOTH BESIDE IT....THANKFULLY I WAS WAS ABLE TO REMOVE IT. I SHOWED IT TO HUBBY TO VERIFY IT WAS PLASTIC AND HE SAID YES IT WAS...(FIRST HE THOUGHT IT WAS CHEESE BUT NO CHEESE IS THAT HARD)...WHERE WOULD THAT COME FROM ??? NO PLASTIC COVERS ON ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE SNAP ON LIDS !! I WOULD HAVE GLADLY PAID MORE FOR A DECENT SIZE SALAD BUT I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS. SO SAD THIS WILL BE OUR LAST TIME.

I have always loved the food and the in customer service of East Side's but my latest take out experience has left much to be desired. I placed an order through the East Side Mario's app on Jan. 2nd just after 8pm as the Belleville location was to be open til 9pm. My order was processed and payment was taken from my bank account. I then received a call from their call center around 8:45pm to inform me that the restaurant had decided to close at 8pm instead of 9pm and that my payment was refunded to my account. Seeing as it was a Saturday on which I placed my order I waited til the following Tuesday to check my bank account to see if the payment was in fact refunded and at that point it had not been. I then contacted East Side's and was then informed that the refund could take 3 to 5 business days to be processed so I waited another 5 days and called them again. I was then told it could take up to 7 to 10 business days so I then waited another week and contacted them again. This time I was informed that it could take up to 30 business days to get my money back. I am not impressed that I keep being told different time frames and that I have to wait on my refund because THEY decided to close early. They sure got their payment right away though. Thank God that I didnt need that money to make it through the month. Shame shame East Side Mario's!!

The servers are very nice and friendly. Very attentive as well. The food is not that great. The pasta was luke warm, and the calamari was cold. I understand that it's lunch time and people are in a hurry, it doesn't hurt to take a minute to make sure that the food is nice and hot. The salad was good and the garlic bread was good. Washroom sink sprays water all over the place but is an easy e.

Mine and husbands experience at East Side Mario's today was excellent from the time we were greeted by hostess Rolene and sat at a table and our server Tracey was great ! We were in today for the All You Can Eat Trio for lunch . Tracey was very prompt with getting us our drink order til bringing out our food with the help also of Leanne as a runner ! Tracey was very attentive and making sure that our drinks were always filled and if we wanted more soup , salad or bread ! We had the pleasure of Bobbi ( manager) stopping by our table to make sure our experience was a good one ! Was in town and was outvoted to come here. Service was okay nothing out of the norm. I ordered the pizza and park fries. Parm fries were okay a little wet for my liking. The pizza was horrendous. Half of it was soggy and it was basically bread and cheese. There was barely any sauce. The pasta was a hit among friends so maybe that should have been the better choice.

The staff were great. Very professional, and helpful. Waitress was on top of everything we needed or wanted. Salad / soup and drinks were great, but mains were rather bland with not much taste at all. The restaurant is a bit of a toss up. It use to be my favorite place to drop in for a drink or two and a quick bite back when I was in my 20s, but it appears it hasn't been cleaned since. Next time you're in there, look around, and then look up. Theres an inch of dust and filth on everything including the chandeliers hanging right above your table/meal. Explains why I couldn't stop sneezing..
