I took my friend to Gabbos for his birthday. He ended up drinking way too much and was sick, and ended up with his head down on a table. Bouncers approached us while we were trying to figure out where his coat check ticket was so that we could get him out. The bouncer for some reason felt the need to violently pull the table out from underneath him, which spilled a drink all over me in the process. When I confronted him about how unnecessary it was, he basically told me that he was allowed to. And he didn't apologise to me. So I had to walk outside in -40 covered in pop and my dress literally froze solid. Ridiculous.

Most disgusting bar in Regina. Went in at 1130pm and the place was almost empty. Sat in a booth and left after we found ants crawling all over us. The wall behind the booth was covered in ants as well. Drink tokens are a joke. Only covers domestic beer and house liquor. The house liquor tastes like absolute garbage and from the taste is not what the bottle claims. I will never go back into this bar again.

So I get in line last night and while I'm waiting, 2 obviously underage girls walk right in without being checked for ID. After I get in, I started waking towards the ATM line and a bouncer grabs me by the collar of my sweater, rips me down towards the front door, throws me out, throws my shoes out the door onto the street and tells me to not come back in. I was so confused that I just called a cab and left. Still don't know why I got kicked out. Maybe because of my hat or my sweater. Horrible place. Dont go unless your an underage girl

Last night I was out with my boyfriend and a friend I haven’t seen in a while was at Gabs! I quickly realized she was in a state where she was unable to be left alone so I respectfully took her under my wing. I’ve partied with her for a while now and last night I’m almost positive she was drugged knowing how she gets when she’s drunk, besides this fact I was disappointed with the so called “bouncers” or the people who are supposed to make you feel safe... as I was trying to get my friend some water the girl running the beer tub made a comment that went a little something like “well look how scrawny she is. Does she drink and do drugs often?” This comment made right in front her. I was completely flabbergasted that someone would legit have the nerve to assume someone’s well being due to there body type. For anyone wondering no she doesn’t do drugs or drink heavily enough to be judged like that. Pretty disgusting place if you ask me with just zero respect. The polite thing to do would have been to help me call my friend a cab not shun her...

Racist entry policies. One of the bouncer’s explicitly told people that the bouncers are instructed not to let in a lot of black people (“one or two is okay”) and will deny entry by saying their wardrobe is wrong or that they’re not VIP’s (ironic considering it’s one of the few bars in the city that play hip hop). Very disappointed people continue to give this bar patronage knowing they practice blatant discrimination. Unsure if the racism stems from the owner or other staff members but either way I encourage everyone to warn their friends that by supporting this establishment they are supporting racist actions. Quite frankly, this establishment is often cold, filthy, and the staff is often either rude or hostile. They’re better bars in the city that don’t discriminate.

Amazing bouncing staff they only let in clean cut people, very friendly and good looking staff, just a super fun environment and great place to share some drinks with friends, meet new people and dance! I can see why they have been open for 17 years and running

All the five star reviews are from people who work with the club - easy to figure out when you check their pages takes about 5 minutes. Blatantly racist policies (If you're not white, you can't get in due to private parties, spacing concerns or they take offence to your clothing and turn you away.)

Been coming here for years now, but within the last month I've been denied entry because I show up with my native friends, they tell me it's guest list only, but let the next 15 non native people behind me in.? Being native myself, I've never been kicked out or have started a fight, getting sick of it, it's the Regina club I like going to.

The most unsafe place to drink in the entire city. Had a worker push me down the stairs on my birthday (September 29 2018) while "escorting" me out for talking to my friend who is a "vip". Disgusting behaviour from an employee.

Turned me away for dressing alternatively. Not slapped together either just wearing some black and white rave gear. Nothing too nuts besides black and white patterns. As a break dancer it's hard to find clubs with good music to break it down at and have fun on a dance floor. Even harder when you're getting stopped at the door for wearing anything but jeans and a v neck.

My friend tried to go here and they were turned around at the door by bouncers because they were "not on the guest list". It turns out that this is an excuse they use to keep non-whites out of the club. Look them up on Facebook, and you will see many similar accounts of people being barred from entering because they were not white.

They advertised a 2 for 1 Tequila deal for Remembrance Day. What a disrespectful marketing campaign. Appalling! They have since taken to deleting reviews and posts and blocking people who leave negative comments. What a way to run a business.. into the ground. I will take my business to a place that respects our veterans.

Horrible place!! I went there with a group of friends for my birthday. I walked in the door and while pulling out my ID, I dropped an item on the other side of the railing (exit side). I asked a staff member on that side of the railing to help me out and pick up the item due to myself not being able to reach it. Suddenly the bouncer in the entrance grabs my arm and starts yelling at me to leave for being so disrespectful, and to get out now or the cops would be called. He agressively pushed me up the stairs so I could get to the exit side and escorted me out. I was so stunned by what had happened that we all left as we did not want to be somewhere that paying customers would be treated like this. My friend went inside and asked to speak to a manager about what had happened and the manager told her that the “staff is always right”. Don’t waste your time or money supporting this business. What a joke.

Pretty fun place! We were in from out of town and enjoyed dancing in Regina. We noticed a lot of dudes there and not as many women but that happens wherever you go. Below average DJ who wasnt really really the group and played A LOT of old songs (ie... Call Me Maybe). Would probably go again to give it another go

Gabos Night Club has dissappointed me the most in Regina.I have heard before that their staff have been told not to let Asian people in the bar in a group , giving them an excuse that its a GUEST ONLY party . I did not believe it but today I went there with my buddy and I was told the exact same thing I heard before. I have friends (Not Asian) who went in half an hour before us and they were not told anything like that. I can not imagine in a country like canada which is known for multiculture. I would ever face it.I am very disappointed with GABOS staff so would advise others if you get the same excuse when you go there please go somewhere else. There are other good bars around where staff is much better , decent music and nice environment. Please share your reviews if you have also faced the same situation. The motive behind writting this comment is not to spread hatred but to talk about my personal experience I had. I hope to see change in their approach and behaviour for future. Peace!

Gabbo's what is going on? This is not the slavery era, it is 2013 for crying out loud. The world is changing, you can't discrminate against people based on their skin color. I have tried to enter Gabbo's many times and they don't let me in, and the excuses that I've heard from them are, "Sorry it's only VIP", "There's a birthday going on are you on the list?" or their all time favorite, "Are you on the guest list?". I have concluded that Gabbo's will not let me in because I'm black, and I'm not playing the race card. I have many white friends who go their and often times they get in but because I can't get in, we usually go elsewhere. It's very frustrating knowing that you are not welcomed somewhere solely based on your skin color.
