It was my first time at the bar, loved it, liked to come more often, but living in Toronto is tricky. Highly recommend The Ranch 2.0 good environment, friendly staff, very large space. For me it will be the best country bar I have ever had of the 3 I know.

Bouncer was very unpleasant and ruined our experience. The band was good but there was only about 20 people in the place. The bouncer told us there was over 70 people there. We were checked for vaxes and frisked and forced to pay 20 cover for all 6 of us. 15 minutes later, the show ended (12:30) and we were escorted out! $120 for 15 minutes is outrageous! I feel misled and scamed. This experience was terrible and it was all thanks to the big guy working the door. Thanks bud. You should feel responsible for why this place has gone so far downhill. Shame because this was the go to spot for such a long time. I cant imagine the place staying open much longer with this type of treatment. This place should be avoided. No need to respond.

An excellent location to have a great time on a Saturday night. Friendly staff, enormous dance floor and awesome people all around with boot stompin' music that will have you dancing all night long. A must see for anyone new to the city and looking for a great venue to enjoy a club night.

The food here was excellent and really cheap! We went on Saturday night and got half-price appetizers for $2!! The dancing area is really fun. We went here for a bachelorette party and I would definitely recommend going if you're looking for a fun place to go dancing.

I still remember 7 years ago when I lost my friends here and my friend had my coat check ticket with her because it was the middle of winter. I went to wait in the line at coat check because my friend wasn't answering my texts and explained to the girl working what happened. She said she can't help me and I told her that I would wait up there until my friend got there so I could find her. She told me I couldn't, so I stepped further over to the side and said okay im waiting here. I was afraid I'd end up alone with no way home and no coat. She told me I can't stand there either and I asked why because I wasn't in anyone's way and she said she would call security. Security then escorted me out of the bar into the freezing cold alone with no coat, all by myself. I was 20 years old at the time. I was shaking and crying and incredibly vulnerable all alone in downtown barrie. Thankfully my friend came out with my coat 10-15 minutes later. I was horrified as I wasn't heavily intoxicated or causing any trouble (besides saying I was going to stand where I was and wait) so I emailed the owner when I got home. Absolutely no response. I never went back, and when I think about the human cruelty the showed me, especially now that I have my own daughter and I'm disgusted. I worked at a bar myself at the time and we would have never done that to someone.

Went on a Friday night for my first time with a group of friends and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Gorgeous ladies everywhere I must say! And the bartender Logan was rocking it like no other bartender I've ever been served by; fast, friendly and knew what I wanted before I even had to ask. I'll be back when I pass through Barrie again!

Great place but they have got to make the door to the cage much smaller. There's no worse boner killer in the world then seeing a bouncer greasing the rim of the door to get some of these plus sizes back down. Four stars.

I'm from The Bahamas but I came to Canada to visit my best friend and her Husband for Halloween Weekend Fun, we checked into The Ranch and had a blast. I had to get used to some of the music coming from The Caribbean but overall it was a great experience and I'd definitely go again and bring friends. #enjoylife

This place is absolute trash. Save your money and time and go elsewhere. The bouncers try to pick fights with paying customers and mouth at people for no reason. It says biggest country bar in canada which is a huge lie and its very small inside (normally not even busy enough to use half the venue.) Sad excuse for a country bar as they played non country music half the night and there was about two people in there with cowboy hats. Without a doubt one of the worst bars I've experienced. Classic overrated bar in the old province of Onterrible. Oh and not even a mechanical bull hahah what a sad excuse for a country bar I've had better in my backyard in Alberta

The biggest cowboy/barn dance bar available in Ontario. Attacks a mixed aged crowd from 20's to 60+. You can attend to free dance lessons before regular hours. It is a preferred spot for bacholar parties.

My friend got grabbed by the bouncer in the way out because she forgot she was holding her drink and was going out with the bouncer and the way he grabbed her left a nasty bruise and he pinched her to hard that her arm right away turned bright red. Don’t ever treat a girl like this. So not impressed by the bouncer staff at the ranch barrie. Don’t ever grab a woman to the point that you hurt her right away. I hope the manger deals with this.

This place is a disgrace to society. A group of 20 young man including my nephew rented a bus to barrie from Vaughan for a birthday celebration with friends and to our disbelief 2 out of 20 couldn’t make it in due to the fact that they were of colour. My nephew and his friend (Latinos) could not get in even though they had ID and were very nicely dressed. They allowed the other 18 (Caucasian and Italian friends) go in but the 2 Latino’s were told to go home so they had no choice other than to go to a restaurant and wait for the night to be over and their bus ride to come and get them (3 hours later). Very disappointed, will never visit again ????????????????????????????????????????

Main gripes: The womens washroom only has ONE hand blowdryer, and no paper towel option. The genre kept switching song after song, was pretty inconsistent. You’d get edm then country then classic rock, then top 50s. It was weird, the transitions weren’t very smooth. Otherwise had a pretty good time for my first ever club visit. Price to get in wasn’t unreasonable.

Please note that I put yes for a fee for the Ranch, it was for the concert... A big venue, lot's of bar with many very attracive servers, there is a restaurant also available, I did not use so no review, there is a VIP section, which I did use, this also let's you in before General Admission if you want to claim a spot in front of the stage... Overall good experience, I am not a big fan of GA concerts but view and sound were good... I would see other acts at the Ranch...

Do not leave your drinks unattended @ this place. 2 lives were almost taken because of drugs put in the drinks of 2 folks there for a good time. Near cost them their lives. This is a true and provable story. Yes. In 2015. But still. There was a reason for what took place. BE CAREFUL.

Super dissapointed with my recent experience at the Ranch. For years I’ve been coming here with my girlfriends since we were 19. This past Saturday my girlfriend and I decided to pop in because we hadn’t been in ages. The bouncer we encountered scammed us, he said we had to pay $20 to get into the bar. We assumed that may be legit because it was Halloween, but definitely not the case when we had to pay cover the SECOND time and the girl said that’s wrong and we never should have paid that.. probably won’t be back here again and I’ll be sure to pass this along to all my friends as well so they’re aware.

Best country venue around. My friend and I went for food before hand on their restaurant side, then for their line dancing lessons and stuck around for the DJ. Drinks were reasonably priced. Wasn’t overly packed and crowded, lots of room to dance and got to ride the bull! Loads of fun for us would highly recommend.

What an amazing place!!!! You have to try the food here at the Ranch 2.0 bar and grill. It is so good. My friends and I had their steak, fish and chips, pasta and their wings for apps. Their food is fantastic!!! Great foods, great wine with great friends. We had a super time!!!! ????????????

Horrible experience, the security actually caused an incident where an innocent bystander was physically punched in the face. Had to talk to police officers to obtain my ID that was rightfully mine. Other experiences prior to this the was fun, but I do not reccomend after this particular night due to lack of competence of security and full out negligence of the safety of those attending the establishment.

Went to a concert on April 9th. Great venue, nice set up. Only complaint was that one of the bartenders kept changing the prices of the drinks and short changing people. The bartender in the VIP area was good. I also wanted to mention that one of the barbacks was just about the hardest working kids I've ever seen!
