With all the social distancing restrictions in place, Linx has so far been my most favorite spot to visit. The staff were very pleasant and very clear what new protocols were in place to help ensure all guest were compliant. The location itself is very spacious and I felt comfortable in their space with all this “pandemic panic”. We had a stimulation suite booked and we were given a quick tutorial and when we had any issues someone was always available and willing to assist. Since we came as a group we ordered from the social menu which were perfect to munch on while we golfed. My in laws also joined us but we’re not interested in golfing and they were seated in the dining area and they enjoyed their meals! All the food was great quality and very delicious!! I love that they are able to cater to golfers and non golfers a like lol you can bring any family or friend along with you and everyone would enjoy their visit. Definitely will be back again soon!

I picked up their Barrielicious Menu yesterday. They had 2 choices. We ordered one of each. Calamari was cooked perfectly, bread pudding melted in your mouth, my son loved the duck roll appetizers and the bbq ribs were so yummy. I peeked in to see the restaurant around the corner while I waited for my order. Very modern and when we can get back to life will certainly be coming in. Thanks for the great delights.

This is my new FAVOURITE place to be! This tailors to everything I love all in one. Whether I want to nibble on great appys, have a drink, and be social, or have a phenomenal meal with a lovely glass of wine, I can do both. ALL while dressing well & having coat & shoe check (perfect for the ladies who still want to wear their stunning shoes during dinner) Definitely the best place. OH! & did I mention how amazing their golf is!?!?!? Definitely love it here!

I highly recommend Linx, the executive suite was amazing beautifully decorated with a very warm inviting atmosphere. When we arrived we were greeted by a extremly friendly employee. Our waitress was very informative helpful friendly and up beat. The golf simulators are definitely top notch. The food was absolutley amazing and once again the server was phenomenal answering all our questions. I have read reviews on here with regard to the management that I would disagree with I found Candice to be extremly friendly and helpful and I was not dressed in designer clothes either. Prior to attending Linx I had several questions that I emailed and received a prompt and friendly response. With winter coming quickly this is definitely a great spot to have a round of golf, an amazing meal a great drink all while receiving top notch service. We will definitely be back. I would recommend giving this place a try it's a great night out that can also be done safely with the safety measures that linx is taking.

Its easy to think of the Linx as a golf venue with a bar. However, our experience on Saturday evening was way way above what that previous statement may have conjured up. Met at the entrance by a lovely lady who showed us to our golf suite, and promptly delivered two drinks. An hour of fun playing a course I could only ever dream of attending, while listening to the live music in the background. We met some friends in the Restaurant shortly after we finished playing golf and were then entertained by a fantastic 3 hours of live music while our 5 star gourmet food was delivered. Apps were fresh muscles delivered that morning, ahi tuna ceviche, the house fried pretzels (OMG!!!!) followed by Steak Neptune, Lamb shanks, Scallops and port Belly's YUM ! The desert, umm how do you say this....I'm coming back if only for the desert, Tacos !!! Yes I said Tacos , LOL, now you're just going to have to take my word for it, you have never had desert tacos like these. Do your taste buds a favour and even if you don't play golf, go for dinner, its a sophisticated atmosphere with golf on the side, you won't be disappointed.

Linx is always an inviting atmosphere. I have yet to dine in for a meal but the few times I’ve rented the golf simulators, I can say that the apps, drinks and golf are all amazing. It’s always a great time when we go golfing here and the staff is always very friendly as well.

What an incredible place to enjoy with friends and family. The atmosphere is hip and very stylish. The staff are so personable and professional, the service is fast and efficient. I also enjoy the fact that they follow all of Covid standards and all staff where masks, which makes the dining experience safe and comfortable. The food is unbelievable their executive chef Kathleen has a real taste for flavour, you can tell she’s been in the industry for years and knows her stuff. I would 100% recommend this place for any corporate or social event, unbelievable....well done!!!!

Fantastic facility. Simulators are state of the art and very accurate. The different mediums (fairway, rough, sand) make the experience as close to the real thing as you can get. Management and staff are always friendly and accommodating. Dining experience is exceptional. Definitely worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Upon arrival at Linx we were not greeted by any staff members at the front desk and had to navigate the facility ourselves to find where our group was. The manager was no help at all as we were never provided with a run down of how the system operates and how to make adjustments for different players. We ordered drinks and food, which arrived promptly and was cooked well. The manager has poor customer service skills and I believe that's what ultimately ruined my experience. When asking the manager questions, her tone was always rude and condescending. Nice facility but poor customer service skills.

I recently spent the morning with a couple close friends enjoying our favourite pastime at the Linx Kitchen and Social. I was extremely impressed by not only the establishment, but the professionalism the owners and staff displayed. Truly the best indoor golf experience Ive ever been a part of, and have already booked for next week with a few more friends. Give this place a shot, you will be pleasantly impressed. A wonderful experience from start to finish. The ambiance is very welcoming, spacious and clean. Amazing drink menu, the food is incredible and service was impeccable. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. The Golfzon simulator is state of the art and we had a great game. On a side note, I have read the previous google reviews regarding the manager/owner and can honestly say that my experience was the complete opposite. Candice was welcoming, kind, attentive and even gave us a tour and explained the simulator in detail despite it being a busy time at the restaurant.

ownership is excellent!! really down to earth local folks. executive chef has been around for a long time and knows her stuff. (try the duck wraps) if you've eaten anyplace in barrie, you've most likely had this lady's cuisine. if you enjoy a good scotch, they will have it, if not I'm sure they will bring it in. Top of the line swing labs, you will absolutely enjoy. Very easy to spend three hours, without being rushed out the door. Truly a great experience...

Beautiful place, unfortunately the food is sub par compared to the ambience. They do have a pub chef as there head chef and that is exactly what you get, pub quality food in a beautiful atmosphere. I would return if they made drastic improvements to their food because the place is gorgeous!

The place is somewhat hidden, but once I found it I was very happy. The staff are very friendly and helpful, as for the simulators they’re quite realistic. Unlike other places I’ve tried, when you hit one in the rough you place your ball on thicker “turf” to simulate hitting from the deep stuff. There’s even a place for hitting out of the sand. I also liked that the floor would adjust up and down or side to side to allow for uneven lies. My only complaint was putting. I could not figure out the speeds, although that’s not unusual for a sim. I went twice this week and will definitely be back.

Linx Kitchen and social. A wonderful proposition for a business and at first glance everything seems nice and enjoyable. In fact the first few experiences were by all measure very good. As they've established a more regular customer base though it seems they don't feel the need to impress that customer base any longer. The last two experiences have been quite the opposite. While the facility and particularly the simulators are top quality and while most of the staff are beyond exceptional the management and their approach to customers is well below acceptable. Twice they cut our session short of the time we paid for. The most recent experience had them tell us we could extend our stay to 10 o'clock which was closing time only to tell us we had to leave early after we had paid for the evening. Let me make clear I have no issues with this had we been told this was the case when we booked the time or had the price of our session been prorated based on the reduced time but none of this was presented to us until we were very rudely told we had to leave immediately. When asked why we weren't told of the policy prior to them letting us book the time slot we were given no explanation, or reparation. We have been many times the last few weeks and have brought a large number of friends who have become somewhat regular patrons as well, that said after these past few experiences it's hard to get the bad taste out of our mouths. A great business is only great if you get what you pay for and this just has not been the case at Linx recently.

After spending a nice evening at what I thought would be a great new hangout in town, I was rudely convinced otherwise when i was advised to dress better next time on my way out the door at Linx Kitchen. Not the kind of feedback you want to hear from the manager/owner after complimenting said staff member on the amazing facility, and defiantly not the kind of treatment you would expect after spending the evening and racking up quite the tab. Did I mention I was wearing 130$ golf pants and a 85$ Nike golf polo? Not sure what you are trying to accomplish here but needless to say, I will not be returning. Very Snobby and rude management as I walked out.

Response to owner: Packed means packed no matter how you want to try and swing it. Should be a little more careful then how you post things, reputation is already not looking that great, this surely does not help!

Was there on the weekend for a night out, and I’m so glad we were finally able to come. Place is so upscale and classy, which I loved. Food was amazing, beers were cold and their cocktail list is FANTASTIC. Design wise: super stylish, love the lighting, floors and gorgeous bar Staff super friendly, helpful, and following all protocols Golf: super cool. You don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy it. Semi private suites and an executive suite (which is the greatest). Dining room: spacious, clean and simply tasteful. Can’t even hear golf taking place. Would I recommend...YES

My brother and I came to Linx for a round of golf and a meal. First off the atmosphere and staff are amazing! We were greeted at the door and brought strait to our simulator. The staff gave us a comprehensive demo of the simulator and answered all our questions. We both ordered the sliders and beers. The food tasted amazing and there is a great selection of beer. The simulator is outstanding. You have to experience it for yourself!

Best burger I have ever had. All food is prepared fresh every day. It does not get better than this! Will be back for sure!

From the minute we walked in, we were blown away. We were greeted by Jason, who we found out was one of the owners. He introduced us to his wife Candice (amazing to see a couple running a business together). He showed us around, and then took us to our golf suite. He explained the system for us and got us all set up. It was very welcoming. We enjoyed some drinks from their cocktail menu, and then we ordered some food. Didn't plan on eating much but after the first dish (Duck Spring Rolls) we decided to get more. A few more dishes later, we decided to extend our golf suite reservation (our server Kimberly was super sweet). Once completed, we decided to stay for dinner. We invited my brother to come join us, which was nice and very accommodating. We then enjoyed a very quiet, beautiful evening of more to eat, more drinks and a very relaxing atmosphere. We didn't feel rushed to leave, actually the total opposite. We could of stayed even longer if it wasn't for Covid shutdown times. We truly feel that the owners of Linx, have put so much thought into their concept, and really have a passion behind it. You can tell they care, and what they are after achieving. We cant wait to come back again and again and enjoy this place for years to come. Highly recommend Linx to anyone who wants a night out for a great meal, some amazing drinks or maybe some golf. You don't have to be a golfer to come here.

Could not have had a better experience! My wife and I were in for dinner and our food was absolutely perfect! Over all we really liked the atmosphere. The staff and service was great. I will be back to try out the simulators very soon.

Had the most ROMANTIC dinner ever at Linx the other night. The food was mind blowing and have never had anything like it before, especially up in Barrie. Our server was super sweet. The decor is very simple but classy. Made us feel very welcome and didn’t feel rushed to leave. Stayed longer than planned, which was super nice. Even chatted about our future plans to come back next week. Definitely going to make this our regular date night place...can’t wait to try everything on the menu. We had a tour of the place after by one of the owner, the place is great and spectacular. She was super nice and friendly.

Cool, modern golf simulator bar. A little overpriced, on-tap options are very limited as is the menu. The servers are beautiful and the whole place has a very modern, chic look and feel. Had a lot of fun celebrating my friends engagement with a couple buddies, but spent about $130 on golf/ dinner/ a few drinks.

We visited Linx for my husband's 40th birthday and were blown away by how amazing the place is. Top-notch food we would typically expect from the best restaurants, an incredible private virtual golf experience, and attentive service that is normally seen in private events... all for a very attractive price for both the golf and the food. The combination of dining space, an extensive bar, and a meeting room that can double as a private dining room will provide enough for people who are not avid golfers. The virtual golf of course is an incredible experience for golfers. This place deserves to become the next big thing. It is ideal for office parties or social events, for a boys/girls night out or even for families wanting to spend time together.

Ate here over the weekend with a friend, we were not impressed at all. Although the place looks great the food is not what you would expect. Mine was dry and really bland there really was no positive to say about it, hers was undercooked and bland, try to complain got no where with it, not sure if we were speaking to the manager or not but she was very dismissive. They are going to lose the wealthy clientele they are after if they stick with this ridiculous dress code (designer jeans and sport jacket, is more upscale than cheap dress pants and a button down) and keep dismissing concerns! I will just stick with the other DT options that have never let me down. Just like the other reviews on here will not be returning until massive improvements in the food are made!
