Writing this on my son's behalf because I am so pissed off with the response we got after complaining about New Year's Eve. Same experience that others have posted here. If they had any decency they would have offered a refund of some amount, or even a reasonable credit. Summary of the complaint followed by their response: * waited in line for two hours and didn't make it inside for midnight * the bathroom attendant lady was super rude * never got the free Champagne Their response: ******** Hello Michael, I appreciate you taking the time to email me the details of the incident. Bar None had none of the good stuff that I go out for. Bought tickets for new years and still waited an hour to get inside. We were tenth place in the line and couldn't bring ourselves to fork out the extra $40, like others did, to bribe the bouncer and get in sooner. We already paid to get in. Seems like poor management here. The design and decor was fine, nothing special. The music was a bait and switch. Hip-hop from 10 years ago was very disappointing, unless you are into that. Lots of bars, so no wait for drinks. Paid $8 for a beer. Overall it was below my expectations.

Friend had a guest list made weeks before, the bouncers disregarded it and made us stand in line for an hour until they let us bribe them with $20 each to get in the doors, then we had to pay another $20 for cover. drinks are expensive, $8 for the cheapest beer, $9 and up for shots. DJ was not great. also try to steal more of your money with the "no accessories policy" that requires you to bag check any bag you have (even if its small). not a very interactive crowd either, lots of antisocial cliques. Overall, ended up spending $75 for 2 beers and a sh** night.

Bar none bouncers are by far the WORST I have ever encountered here in Vancouver. HORRIBLE customer service, extremely rude, and disrespectful. I was on the guest list for this club on a Friday night and they made everyone stand in the rain, the line was not moving AT ALL. The bouncers claimed they were " at capacity" but when they let me in to use the ATM the club was completely dead. Do NOT waste your time and money here.

I waited in line for an hour and a half in the pouring rain due to the fact that many large groups of people would come to bribe the bouncers hundreds of dollars to skip the line, thus prohibiting the main line to proceed. The man who seemed to be running things outside could be heard encouraging the bouncers to make these groups a priority in order to make more money. Very unofficial and unfair way of doing things.

When you arrive, there is no signage indicating their name (we just guessed by the loud music and asked the lady standing out front). When you go in, it costs $18 for cover and another $2 for coat check. Inside, there are only booths along the walls, which the only way to sit at one is to reserve (get your name on the guest list). There are tiny little round "tables" (that really aren't even tables; they're just disks around a pole) that you have to stand at. I read a review about this club stating that the drinks are really expensive, and due to having to spend $20 even before purchasing anything, we didn't bother looking at the drink menu.

I live in Kelowna and I frequently come to Vancouver. Whenever I do come down Bar None is my go to place to go out with my friends. Andrew is usually working the back bar and always looks after our group and makes our night out memorable. His service is fast, professional and fun. When I recommended the bar to my friends for a bachelorette party they actually texted me saying that Andrew blew them away with his service and made their night out. Cool place, but the servers/bar tender were ridiculous. Saw two servers in the middle of the bar taking selfies instead of serving people. There was also a bar tender who could not calculate simple change. They had to take out there cell phone to calculate the change for two drinks. It may sounds crazy to mention this, but I would think simple calculation is a fundamental skill to know for being a bar tender.

Friend had a birthday there this weekend and usually it's a good time at your establishment. This time was pretty unusual. When we got there the regular line was about an hour plus wait. And so was the guest list line well I had noticed that your bouncers I've been selling free admission tickets and pocketing the money off you guys and letting everyone in. On top of this I had three guys come up to me by where the VIP areas are in the back right corner and try to steal my chain off my neck three times, the first time is when I let the security know what was going on the second time I pointed them out they still didn't do anything the third time the guy actually got it up to my face before realizing it doesn't fit over my head I pushed him away and then left as I left I told the bouncers again they did nothing. Nothing but smirk and laugh. I suggest NOT going to Bar None if you want to have a good time. The lack of professionalism in your company astounds me. Time for a clean up

My friend and I were standing in line and there was a old bald bouncer outside named Ben. He made some inappropriate comments and wanted to 'keep' my friend for the night and made us feel very uncomfortable in front of other people that were standing in line. As an employee of the establishment, he should not be going up to girls and make creepy comments. Very unprofessional security.

Funny, somebody already submitted a complaint before I did. Will never come back and will never recommend my crowd in Toronto to ever visit this place.

Absolutely horridenous experience, the three bouncers up front were terrible, absolutely rude and didn’t even let us in when we had 4 guys. Told us we had to wait over an hour to come back even though we had guest list. They said we couldn’t get in without girls or a grease. Would not recommend this club whatsoever. Absolute garbage service. I’d reccomend getting new bouncers. Bar none get your act together!!

I live in Kelowna and I frequently come to Vancouver. Whenever I do come down Bar None is my go to place to go out with my friends. Andrew is usually working the back bar and always looks after our group and makes our night out memorable. His service is fast, professional and fun. When I recommended the bar to my friends for a bachelorette party they actually texted me saying that Andrew blew them away with his service and made their night out. walked by with a group of 4 other guys on Saturday at 10pm. There was no lineup and a peek inside of the club was empty. Was told at the door we will not be let in unless we grease them, buy a table, or get a group of girls. Luckily, a group of 5 ladies was happy to roll with us so we thought we'd be let in. However, the bouncer changed his story and refused our entry unless we buy a table from him or give him $20 each. He specifically mentioned the owner of the club made him do this. Absolutely ridiculous and completely shady. Needless to say we will never visit this club again.

Awesome club! Love coming here in Saturday nights . The bartenders by the main bar (the one right when you walk in) are the BEST! the guy & girl (I’m sorry I don’t remember the names :( ) the DJ is awesome spinning good music all night. Also love the sitting area downstairs in the ladies washroom it is so essential when you are dancing the night away in 5 inch heels. Only thing that could use improvement is the bouncers outside, first off they hold the line up for so long and don’t care that you have made guest list.. um hello isn’t that the whole point of having two separate line ups. Was waiting for over an hour when I got there right at 1030. Secondly the bouncers well, they have terrible attitudes, they need to be a little friendlier.

Never going back. Bouncers were jerks. Kicked me out for looking for my jacket at a table that table service crew took over. Left me outside in the -6 degrees in a strapless dress. Keys to house in jacket. After a long time of crying, freezing and assuring them I was not trying to steal a jacket, but rather look for my own they let me back in to look. By that time someone left with my coat. They then tried to make me go back outside while they cleaned up inside. I am new to the city and my friends had left. I was trying to figure out what to do and I had to argue with these patronizing men to let me wait for a cab inside. Yes i should have coat checked but is chivalry really this dead? I gave one star because it wouldn't let me post otherwise. Not worth it.

The staff and bouncers are SO RUDE, they dont care if you have guestlist or not will literally telk you its full capacity and then let 20 "regulars" in no problem. They profile and judge. Wouldnt recommend at all....
