Myself and three other ladies had a "free pass" that allowed us to enter before 10:30PM, downloaded specifically from the Club's website. The bouncer said it is inadmissible. When I asked why, his response was "just because that's how it is". I don't understand why. The music was great, but the crowd is a bit all over the place. They let in way too many people in my opinion. Absolutely no social distancing. People were all so close to each other it was like a breeding ground for COVID or any other transmittable disease in my opinion. Based on these factors, we will not becoming back here.

Mediocre experience. Ten dollar cover and 3 dollar coat check. Drinks are extremely expensive, music rotation isn't too shabby, bartenders are nice but customer service is abysmal. They do not care about you. I lost my phone there and it took weeks for them to get back to me, you can not reach anyone by any sort of social media or phone number. Would not recommend. Also those free pizza party's you win take hours to actually get the pizza.

Never seen a club try this hard to be popular. Great venue as dance floor is huge. Also a side bar with salsa music as main room is top 50. Absolutely great music Younger crowd but THE PLACE TO GO ON LONG WEEKENDS for Sunday night parties as THE BEST AROUND FOR LONG WEEKEND SUNDAYS This is when I usually go and it's definitely an older crowd.

It's alright. Been here twice and Ben is always funny but both headliners I've seen have been older with the jokes to match. I'm sure they're alright people but damn some of the jokes they had weren't relevant a decade ago. The tickets are practically free since most won theirs and the drinks are over priced. It's a clear fill the club and pay with drinks model. The club is an older crowd but decent music if you decide to stay.

Alka here...I had my birthday party at your club and i just want to say that all your staff was amazing....we all had such an amazing time...thank you for being so easy going and letting me bring my food for all the eaters..lol Everyone said they had a blast and most said they would love to come there again ...my brother in law loved the place ...he said I had a tab for my wife my daughter, her boyfriend and myself and we all drank but my bill at the end of a great night was only $50.00 ....he loved the ambiance, the people the other guests...the comedian and said wow you found a super place. I told him this is nothing you should come in the summer and see.... its all lit up and you feel like you are at some destination club..... Anyways the pizza & chicken and comedy show was free for my guests and that was a bonus for me...everyone loved my party and all called next day to say we should go again...!!!!! once again thank you to all of you for making my night amazing your guys are all amazing!!!!!so amazing...we all thank you thank you thank you... If your are thinking of having an amazing birthday definitely book here...

Very fun place to be, maybe not if you're in your early 20's. The host of the comedy night Ben Guyatt busts my gut every time I go there, some of the other comics not so much. After the laughs you will be sure to find more on the dance floor, watching the way some of these geriatrics move is hilarious. I wouldn't be a rugular, but I don't mind going from time to time.

Rent here for a birthday party. It was over all the great experience, I don't know. You definitely recommend bottle service. The DJ, was nice enough to pick out a request, and I think that the staff members are also extremely polite. Thanks again, and we'll see you in the future.

I went to Club 54 with a group of friends and I had one of the best times going out that I ever had. The comedy was side splitting. The staff were amazing and friendly. Food was very tasty and the highlight for me was when the dance floor opened up. Other clubs could learn a lot from Club 54 on how to host a killer good time.

We won a pizza and wing party, a few months in advance. Had the date booked not long after. Was looking forward to it, Ben the MC was great! As he’s been since i saw him on tv in the 90s. Show was ok, but a bit short! That’s not my issue! It’s that there was no pizza or wings!!!!!! The only stuff we could find was 4 bucks a slice. We brought 22 people, with a two drink min. And everyone had a bunch. Just seems shady asf. And the washrooms looked like they were from trainspoting.... and it was 9:30. But the magic happed at 11! When people started dancing. That was like watching a car crash happen!!!!!! And 50yr old divorced men circling the dance floor looking for un suspecting prey! Predators with bad backs and even worse hair lines! I don’t think I’ll be back

Club 54 is my fave dance club. Why? Has a great old school light show so the club is alive with light! The dance floor is big, it’s in the middle of the club so seating is all around offering a great view. Bars on the sides and corners take care of all your needs and great table service. The music also includes retro tunes so it's good for all ages and all are remixed to today’s stylings. Not only that! There’s a great comedy club before the party and a separate club area that features Latin dance! Did I mention food? They got food! Everything you need! All under one roof!

Music, great. Drink options, great. Lights and decor, great. Space, excellent. But the drinks are expensive. And dear lord the mens bathroom was flooded with piss and no one did anything about it. My boyfriend and I had to leave so he could use the Tim's bathroom up the street. The parking seems like it's great but they get so many people in there that it's actually horrendous. The staff often leave you hanging at the bar and serve others before you even though you've been waiting longer. It's sad because I love the atmosphere of the place. There's people of all ages, the people that go are usually upbeat, gun and friendly. The vibes are fantastic, the place is just not worth going anymore.

Club 54 is the most best night club I have ever been to, I started going there when I first moved to the city 13 years ago and I would never ever pick another club. I got to know gene n the gang which was awesome cause they made me feel like family. Any chance I get to go out for either a girls night or just a night I go there for I consider it my second home. When I have parties to plan I book there cause they take care of everything n always has my back if needing something, their service is awesome. So if anyone asked me where to go I would send them to Club 54 cause that's the place to be.

This place needs to be cleaned properly. Electrical cables running here and there. A patron accidentally kicked a cable causing sparks. While there I wondered if this place would pass a safety inspection. One comedian was good. The other not so much. I don't think I will return. We didn't stay for the dancing so can't comment on that. Most 5 star ratings are likely all from the younger crowd that liked the music and had a good time with friends and don't notice the other stuff. I read some of the owner replies. Obviously not concerned with addressing any of the issues that other reviewers have made. Let's see if the owner makes an effort to honestly comment on this review or if I get the seemingly standard "check our 5 star reviews" reply.

Club 54 Nightclub in Burlington is a great place to go to chill out and have a good time. I really love their chicken wings and pizza. The staff is super friendly and the service is great. My most memorable visit was when I met the comedian Ben Guyatte there and we had a beer together. It's a lively place for dancing partying and socializing. Check it out! Cheers ????????????????

Interesting place. Heard better reviews from friends than what we experienced on what i believe was an off night during ribfest. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Music was good. Elevated dance floor was the only meh thing of the night, seems like a hassle when people are drunk LOL. Would try it out again!

I'm glad this place exist. It's pretty cool. It's reasonable to get in (coupons online). Walked in. 95% of the tables said "reserved". Finally found a place to sit. Ordered drinks. Waited for the show to begin. Show started. Seems 1/3 of the bar talks while the comedian/s perform (rude to everyone). We were surprised that their was just the M.C and one comedian. Show lasted from 9-10. That's it. Guess most are there to dance. Good offered is pizza pizza slices. Lots of shooters to choose from. We would go back. For a little humour, drinks & dancing. IF your just going for laughs. Yuk yuks is probably the better bet.

Good times at Club 54 for sure. I like that there are different area that has DJs playing different types of music. Get there early, 10:00/10:30 should be good.... so you gotta pay cover but it's worth it for a good club, right? or ball out and get a table I guess Fun mix of people, better than your normal club crowd in my opinion. I think majority are decent, career driven and just out on the weekend to relax and relief some stress. It’s a no drama type of place.

Wow! I had an amazing night! The comedy is spectacular have me laughing all night. The dancing is what I love and enjoyed so so much. The service there was awesome all was so pleasant. Dancing the night away at Club54 brought back memories of me Partying all night at the MGM Grand Studio54 In 1998 back in the days. I look forward to celebrate my birthday there soon.

We won a party worth $500! Sat through a comedy show with an audience of crickets, paid mad money for beverages and waited until 11:30 for lukewarm pizza (Pizza Pizza) and wings. The music was good for the first hour, but that's when the real comedy rolled out on to the dancefloor. I imagine this place was truly poppin', probably in the 90's- and those are the people left bobbing around the raised light floor. I would say 80% of the minimal crowd that night were ALL pizza parties worth $500!

No free water? "Don't be a cheap bastard"? Are they serious? First of all, I'm not sure it's even legal to serve alcohol and refuse to serve free water. If it isn't, I'm reporting them. Second of all, ME don't be a cheap bastard? They refused to serve free TAP water to a responsible DD and tried to charge me $5 for a water bottle. Pretty sure that's as cheap as they come. I got trapped here after a friend won a "Free VIP pizza party and comedy show". I didn't pay anything, and I still feel like they owe me money. The comedy was FAR from funny. It was just crass and vulgar, using curse words instead of punch lines and expecting no one to notice. It's the meeting place for Ontario's white trash. Honestly, I hate the owners of this place too much to ever recommend wasting even a second here. Waste of time I'll never get back.

So.... The decor is from the 80s but not in the nice, retro way but in the "we haven't updated in 25 years" kind of way. We didn't pay for our tickets, thank God, but 2 beers cost us 15$ and in 2017 they don't have debit or credit. So we get slapped a 3.50$ surcharge to use the ATM at the door. This might have been forgiven if the comedian was funny, but he was, no exaggeration, the worst comedian I've ever seen, ever. I've been to open mic nights, he was still worst than any of them, and that was their headliner!!! Funny thing is that after that they opened up the dance floor.... Cause the comedy crowd definitely loves a good dance party...

Had a blast with my friends.Pizza and wings > YUMO < 30 of us danced the night away even my Latina galz danced up a storm in the Latin music room ^_^ the staff were nice and accommodating (waitress was great too, my gfs knew her, small world!) my cell died, all my friends had left and i was stranded! Thankfully the staff allowed me to use the main phone (although im pretty sure thats not usually allowed) so i could call my ride home. music was awesome! a mix of old school and new school.

Go early if you want to avoid a lineup and there is a cover charge of $10 a person. We went on a Saturday night and the place was pretty busy not super crowded. good fast service. I may just go back for the comedy show as it appears to be a fun place

Was here for a $500 VIP Pizza & Wings party that included about $27 worth of food and no beverages. It's $4.50 for a bottle of water that comes from a case of water that costs about $3.79 at your local Sobeys, and tap water apparently does not flow to this establishment as you are met with bewildered gazes and perplexed faces. The Comedians were about as funny as stepping on a Lego, except for the host, he was alright. The DJ had a pretty good set going for about the first hour, after which the music was about on par with the comedy. The place was pretty empty for a Friday night, and about 80% of the people there looked like they also had won some sort of Free $500 Pizza and Wings party. So who knows, maybe it was $500 as a collective? Idk. Nothing wrong with the crowd there, it's a more middle aged crowd, people that showed up in '94 and decided that this was all they'd ever need. All in all, this place is a lot like a Mirage. As though you've been travelling through the desert without food and water for days, and you see it off in the distance. It looks warm, inviting, it beckons you to come in. So, you make your way over, and as you get closer it starts to look less convincing but you've already come this far so you must see this through. But once you arrive, you realize it was all just a lie and all you're left with is waterless disappointment.

Went to Club 54 for my 50th birthday. What a great experience. The comedy show host was hilarious and did a lot of interacting with the audience. We were in stitches. Took advantage of the VIP package for my birthday which cost nothing all we had to pay for was drinks. 40+ friends got in for free to both the show and the dance party after. We were even given pizza and wings to enjoy after the show for free. Our waitress was top notch. Service with a smile and quick serving all of us. Thanks so much we will be back for sure!!!

I really, really, REALLY dislike how they want to make you pay $4.95 for bottled water when you ask for a glass of water and refuse to give you a glass. I think this is ridiculous. It is dangerous for people drinking, as they should be able to have access to potable drinking water. And worse, it is damaging for our environment. Most bars provide water free of charge in a glass. Please change this about your rules and policy.

Went here with a few people and we had a great time, didn't leave til 2am. They have a lit up dance stage which was cool and a sort of cage for people to dance in if they choose to. We had a blast, comedy had us all roaring, great pizza and wings and the dance party afterwords was great! really, really reasonably priced drinks, probably one of the cheapest places for good drinks. We are now regulars!

We always have a great time and the DJs know how to play to the crowd. Staff are friendly even when it is busy. There is also lots of free parking and a patio with an outside bar. We've had a few celebrations there and they treat you really well if you book your party there! Hats off to the Management they go above and beyond...some nights I've been they have a free BBQ. Thank you Club 54 for a great night out! As working professionals with children we were excited to win the free pizza and wing party. We had 25 guests in total attend and we all had a fun night out. From the moment I was contacted the interaction with staff was professional and timely. The staff person was able to answer all the questions we had related to organizing our event. They provided all the information our guests needed. We received the same attention to detail the night of the event as well. All the wait staff were very friendly and quickly brought our beverages out. The greeter at the door was professional and friendly and greeted all our guests warmly. She was even so flexible as to give out the glow necklaces we provided to our guests as they checked in. The comedy act was fun and interactive! The pizza and wings were abundant, well presented and delivered at the perfect time when we needed to refuel from the dancing. Overall a great experience! We look forward to returning soon!

I always have fun and I love the music. Lots of Spanish dancing vacation feels. However recently I was disappointed. We were waiting, cold, An old guy with two young girls came up slipped the doorman a 20 and was let in, it was very obvious and awkward since there was only 3 ppl (us) waiting. Later, we were getting shots.. My friend made a joke about the girl dancing around instead of getting drinks (which is her job and we had been waiting)..the bartender heard us somehow, got in my friends face saying EXCUSE ME????? In a threatening way. She Proceeded to turn around ignore us and never get our drinks. I had to wait to get the other girls attention and try not to let it ruin our night. Girls need a hard dose of reality about customer service. Nothing wrong with having fun at work but she was very unprofessional, very confrontational and unpleasant.

Went for a friends birthday, they include free cover which was great since I couldn't print their 2 for 1 admission coupon beforehand. Drinks were pricey and the one act was a bit dated. Ben Guyatt was funny but as another reviewer says, will add cursing and crude humour to try and be relevant to a younger crowd. Jokes based on peoppe in the audience were funny so dont sit in the spotlight if you dont want one or two thrown your way. Place was dated and full of people from an older generation mixed with an early 30 crowd of misfits. The ones drinking had a blast. Might be a fun place to return to with someone out of town for a laugh.

Club 54 is the best club in Burlington! Especially the long weekends on Sunday nights when all other places are slow or closed. I have been coming to this club for the last 10 years. People from all over the southern ONT area come here (all the way from Niagara Falls to Pickering and in between). I have met so many nice people here. Gene is always a great host! I have been lucky to win their free pizza and wings draws for me and my friends and it is always the best party to have. Free delicious food and good music. The bar staff are always smiling and great! If you have not been here, you need to give it a try!

I have always enjoyed going to Club 54 to Dance on Saturdays. My favorite thing to do is to move to some good tunes, and unwind after the work week. I fell in love with club 54 because they got it all... Comedy shows, huge place with huge dance floors, really cool layout, great music & two rooms of it, lots of parking everywhere. It's always a blast, I wish there were more places like Club 54! It really is awesome!

Absolutely terrible place! It's is a scam. You get no VIP service the place is filthy the drinks are outrageously priced. They forse you to leave your credit card with them and they dont except debit. Once you come in you can't leave and come back. The comedy show started late and wasn't that good. They Insist you come right away to get a seat (Which I reserved) besides the people we met and our own fun we made the bedt of it. But I suggest if you Go, get drunk before and come in around 1 am that way you can dance and have fun but don't have to drop $400 On not very much alcohol.

Just want to give everybody a heads up. The 500$ pizza is a marketing scheme to get people to come. I've observed and come to the conclusion, every body wins a VIP party who enters. I got 10 of my friends to enter and all 10 including me "won". So clearly it's not the first 5 people to win as many, many, more have also won. If there is just over 400 reveiws and just over 200 are 5 stars.. it pretty much means its a 50/50 chance you are going to have a good time.

I had an amazing experience with my group of friends we enjoyed a great comedy show and the comedian involved us in the jokes which was fun! The music was great I danced in the cage met the DJ, they have great drinks and amazing staff! We had a bit of an altercation and they didn’t say a word to us they just removed the person who CREATED the problem. Thank god for there understanding as were able to continued to party. One friend dropped her drink by accident right after it was poured and the waiter just poured another drink on the house. All around a great place.

Excuse me, since when did everyone have to like a venue? If someone does not like a place, they should like it because most people did? Very arrogant and rude from management. Been there 4 times. Pizza parties, free trips to Vegas. Lineup is generally not too long, dj has good music, usually packed. I've seen a couple regulars getting a pass for drunken behavior. My grip? About $9 for a drink. The drinks are small and you are not getting much at that price. Why does it cost that much in Burlington when i've gone to places in Toronto serving larger drinks that cost less. I'm not trying to get hammered but 2 drinks would cost me $20? That is just for me. I buy for a couple friends it adds up and drinks aren't even strong but hey the place is packed, why would they change if it is working? Not for me.

Came here for a party it was okay. it is for sure more for an older crowd you will not see people in there 20s here. I went on a Friday night the comedy was okay lots of dirty jokes and lots of swearing. people were wearing track pants hats runners t-shirts some of the girls were dressed nicer in jeans or tights or dresses. I had the wings and pizza it was really good really enjoyed the wings. The music was good i must say but it is not what you would here if you went to a more younger club for 20-25 year old. The prices are really expensive. a bottle of water cost $4.50. They will not serve you tap water at all. you must pay for the water at least the water was cold. The bathrooms are gross and old and smell. it was very dead on a Friday night. I will not be going back there, especially because they charge you $4.50 for a water bottle were i can go buy a case of 40 water bottles at Costco for $3.39. Save your money and time and do not go here.

Worst place I've ever stepped foot in. Disgusting and dirty. Can't believe they serve water for $4.50 a bottle and when I asked for a cup of water since I was DD, I was refused. Went to the front to talk to staff, they were unbelievably rude. The guy at the front told me they don't serve water in cups (as he is drinking water in a cup) I asked him what he was drinking then. "Well, this is water, but I can't serve it to you. You can ask for a cup of ice then get water from the bathroom sink, it's the same water"........... If any of you have had the unfortunate experience of entering those bathrooms - you'd understand how appalled I was at his ridiculous comment. Not to mention, a poor woman fallen over on the dance floor, unable to get herself back up - would they have denied her a cup of water too? I'll be writing them a complain, not that they will care. Good to know they support the DD's and everyone's safety. Disgusting.

Not a good experience at all, sticky floors, over priced drinks, ridiculous that a bottle of water costs $4.50. comedians lacking talent, both used the same material for jokes. Some of the bar staff were rude and on their phones. Two looked intoxicated. Very unprofessional for bartenders to be drinking on the job. When it wasn't even busy, 1230, my husband and I waited over 10 minutes to be served at the bar while the bartenders talked and hugged each other. Had to wave one down. One room barely any people in it. I don't know how the mens bathroom looked like but the female one could use some upgrading and paint. Not going back here.

They had a great time and stayed at the club until 130 in the morning dancing on the floor which my daughter said was "lit!" Club 54 is one of rare ones in GTA that accommodates clients of any age. You can find youngsters in their twenties as well as older people over 60. Music is contemporary with a lot of greatest hits and latest Latin songs. I would say for all ages. In addition to dancing, you can enjoy comedy night every Friday and Saturday. Service is great and prices reasonable. Conveniently located just off QEW in Burlington. Simply, I love it!

Just wanted to say that the comedy show was HILARIOUS...but the fact that they charge people $4.50 for a bottle of water is absolutely ridiculous. When I asked for just a cup with water in it, they refused me. I've been to multiple clubs where ANYTHING non alcoholic is free, let alone water. Way to support the DD program, club 54! Thankfully a kindly security staff was kind enough to grab me a water!

Went there for a group party with a friend who had the pizza party. I don't get out as much Anymore and I was really happy with the experience .the music choices were awesome and the dance floor was going non stop . The food was fantastic . I had a really great time. I can't wait to go again

A strange experience. The place is dirty, tacky, offensive - yet slightly charming. The music is extremely loud, the crowd is definitely on the old side. The drinks are extremely over-priced. They make up for all this with a surprisingly good staff that trys hard. Food was pretty decent.

This was absolutely terrible. The host is a sexual harassment law suit waiting to happen. Comedians are supposed to say stuff that’s funny, not try to shock you repeatedly with their blunt references to sexual anatomy or try to stimulate sympathy laughs from the crowd. The show started half an hour late to boot! Thank god the tickets were free because I will never get those two hours of my life back. Will never return and will never recommend this “comedy” show to anyone.

The comedy portion is actually pretty cool, a nice unique spin on the classic nightclub. The Pizza Party thing seems to be some scam to get you in the door, it's offered to literally everyone basically. My beef with this place is the fact that they refused to give me tap water. I'm on meds and need hydration, and had I known that I couldn't get a sip of water here without paying over $4, I would not have gone there. Deplorable for management to be so greedy that they force the bartenders to not give out tap water. There's literally people in the bathroom sharing empty glasses to get a sip of water. My friends and I will never go back.

Comedy was horrible. Should have been pulled off stage after 5 minutes. Food tasted like it was in the open half the day before being served barely warm. Drink prices are crazy. $8.50 for beer.

Club 54 is one of the best clubs near the Toronto area. Located in Burlington just outside of Toronto, easy to get to and worth it. Always an amazing atmosphere, friendly, fun staff, great music, plenty of room to dance. It has been popular for years, thanks in part to the owner, who is an awesome guy and runs the place so efficiently. I highly recommend it for a fun night.

A friend of mine got kicked out for no reason by a bouncer then while we were leaving he pushed me for no reason proving how coward this bouncer is . I thought about turning around and swinging a direct hit fist right at his jaw then decided not to not out of fear but more so not to escalate matters . Club 54 bouncers are cowards low live scumbags and it's a matter of time till they mess with the wrong person ! For the records I have a military background with hand to hand combat .
