Love this course. Just finished 9 with a cart....well under 50 bucks. Tons of golf here...front nine is shorter and narrow makes for a good warm for the back which is long and tougher Pick your 9 or 18.

One of my favorites in the area! A nice, long 18 hole course with some great views. Staff is always super friendly, but they could use some more carts, and a course marshall to ensure players are allowing others to play through. Still a great place for golf nonetheless, and the food is pretty good too.

This "course" is in brutal shape. Tees, fairways, greens, bunkers, rough ... all terrible. Website pics misleading. Should be $20 not $62. Response to owner: Thanks for the quick reply. But the issues were on every hole. Consider providing fair warning to golfers before tee off until you can get your course back in shape like your website pics.

My experience eating at the Bancroft Ridge Golf Club was wonderful and I highly recommend it. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The pulled pork wrap and chick pea salad were awesome and I will be back again soon! It's great to see healthy, well made food in the Bancroft area.

The staff here are friendly and are working hard to make improvements on the course. A positive atmosphere to be around. Great for all skill levels. Lastly, beautiful views all around the course!

Great course!! The new ownership is extremely friendly and are steadily making improvements to all areas of the course. We've been frequenting the Ridge this summer and the views are spectacular! We've never had an issue booking including a few last minute requests. If you're anywhere near the area I would highly recommend.

Very enjoyable 18 holes. The front nine is shorter and provides a great warm up for the more challenging back nine. Be careful of the water hazards on holes though. Friendly atmosphere and the only driving range for miles around.

A nice course, very long and a bit rough due to the constant rain. Definitely recommend a cart as it's a long walk but some nice challenging holes. Hopefully they'll offer a good menu when the patio opens. I will play it again!

This is a poorly managed course. They have no concerns for the conditions of the golf course. The fairways are in a rough condition; they are damaged and there are more areas under repair than are open. The bathrooms are disgusting, smelly and not maintained at all. The driving range had no balls one day because they didn’t bother reclaiming them due to rain the day before. Terrible experience.

This is a poorly maintained golf course for the green fees they charge. The greens were uneven, the fairways were unkept/not mowed. Cart approaches were chewed up and unleveled. Very much still “under construction” in terms of maintenance, but no greens-keepers working on conditions throughout the day. Staff were not wearing masks, and seen approaching what I assume was regular golfers through the day without masks. The carts were filthy! Mud and dust was thick on the dash of our cart.

The staff were friendly and courteous. Unfortunately the course conditions were poor. Greens were in terrible shape. Some were unplayable. Fairways are full of clover and in need of cut.

We had lunch at The Ridge last week and it was amazing! A great variety of sandwiches and side salads to choose from at a great price!! I had the gourmet grilled cheese which included carmelized onions, bacon and sliced pear on a panini - delicious! I chose the chickpea salad side and it too was so good! The service was excellent and we will certainly be returning in the very near future!

Really enjoyed my round at Bancroft Ridge. The staff were very accommodating. It was raining at the start of our round and they ensured our carts were wiped down and we were as comfortable as possible to play through some rain. Weather turned around for the better and we really enjoyed the day. A very friendly atmosphere and enjoyable clubhouse with a beautiful view to have a beer after our round.

The food is definitely a step up from previous years! The variety is amazing and the new choices were fantastic! The head chef is great and very friendly and happy when he serves! Highly recommend it to everyone and look forward to future visits! He actually comes and talks with his customers!

**GOLFERS BEWARE**The owners of this golf course are OUT TO LUNCH. Myself and a group of friends played 2 rounds of golf there last weekend. The day after our last round there I got a phone call from Peter Neal and his son Nick who strongly accused our group of damaging the bottom of one of their golf carts. He informed me that they had my group on camera “running over a rock on the 16th hole” which did NOT happen. After I simply asked for the camera footage they quickly accused me again and threaten to send the police after me? I have never been treated with such disrespect from a business in my life. I will NEVER go back to this course and would advise anyone else to stay away.

I guess covid has taken its toll on this place! If your going to cut your staff because of covid you should at least cut the price too! The fairways and greens are horrendous condition, some of the green weren't even usable. I wish I would have saved my money and just stayed at the cottage!

The golf course itself is great. The food; however, leaves a lot to be desired. It was the most disgusting buffet I ever attended on Mother's Day 2018. Trust me when I say, save your money and go to the big M. It was not even worth 1 quarter of what you had to pay. Not only did they not have a good variety for what you had to pay but what they had was not worth eating. I was actually embarassed that I took my mother there. Come on. Seriously. Still can't believe a place that had such wonderful amazing dishes last year could stoop this low.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch at Bancroft Ridge Golf Club on Thursday, May 10. Simply wonderful. I loved the grilled cheese with pear and bacon. I would eat it everyday if I had the capabilities of the chef at Bancroft Ridge. The menu is delightful and features a variety of main dish options with a choice of fresh side. The food was impeccable. The service was excellent. The view, lovely. Certainly well worth the money. If you enjoy high-end food (definitely the best in Bancroft) and very reasonable pricing, this is certainly a place to check out.

Greens were in good shape, however, found the course kind of boring. Almost every hole is completely straight and no elevation changes at all. We had carts and found it kind of confusing at times since there was little in the way of a cart path. Everyone in our two groups share these opinions and would probably not return.

Had 12 guys go to Bancroft Ridge. Very very accommodating. They allowed us to order pizza and have it delivered to the course because kitchen wasn’t open. Perfect place to do a Ryder cup format or fun scrambles as the afternoons aren’t very busy. Front nine is loads of fun. Back nine is super tight. Play pro v1’s on the front and kirklands on the back. Trust me, you’ll need’em!!

Greens were not greens, more like browns. Every putt was on sand. Fairways had more ground under repair then actual fairways. Pictures on-line are not a fair representative of this course. Would not have been so upset but the price is not fair when the course is so rough. Will not be going back, which is disappointing as this is the closest course to my cottage. Fix the course or charge accordingly!!!
