I don't really like the place but at least it's better than the dome both in terms of price and quality. Music is nice along with not so expensive drinks. I would prefer to go to lower deck if I have to or just to a normal bar. It's a one time visit if you are new to halifax and want to experience the night life.

Music is great we liked Friday night DJ (DXS) more than Saturday but both are really good. The Atmosphere/the club looks great, friendly bartenders, cheap drinks, cheap entrance ($3). Definitely a classier place than most other clubs DT, but I find it was way more classy a few years ago.

Dancing to the Mellowtones on Thursday night is a must go event at the Pacifico. The patio has got to be one of rhe largest in the city. The food is good and the decor in the building is worth the visit.

What a fantastic job they did on the renovation of this historic building. The place looks so amazing. They kept a lot of the original charm while making it feel very hip and modern. Even the outside deck is awe inspiring (huge). I shared a reserved table for 2 watching the Mellotones and I can't wait until this place gets to full capacity and see everyone dancing again. I will have to make this a regular hang out. Cheers to all the staff for making this a fun night out.

bartenders were fast but drinks were expensive cheap cover but big line up so we had to wait in line for 45 minutes very friendly staff @ the door keeping us safe and taking care of the big crowd while controlling the line overall i rate 4/5 and would go again

Probably the best Halifax has to offer in terms of night clubs. Also has a pool section which is great to get away from the dance floor. Best deal in the summer for cheap cover and drinks. There is a slight dress code.

Usually a pretty good place to go with friends for drinking and decent dancing. However there's been a steep increase in garbage dudes who are friends with a bouncer (and staying very close to them) preying on girls and making homophobic remarks towards everyone else that is around. Those Pride flags that are hung up around the locale mean dirt while this practice continues. Go to any other place until the message is received.

Had a booth one night and there was zero to no table service. - we were told we had to pay 50$ per head for each person we had at our booth. Later that night random ppl kept coming up who didn't have VIP bracelets. - the server just poured all our alcohol in shot Glasses and left it on the table. - random ppl who weren't VIP would bring up random ppl and they were drinking our alcohol ( security didn't seem to check the bracelets) - the layout is super far from the dance floor ... It was not a good experience and way too expensive to not have proper bottle service. Definitely won't be back. Pacifico use to be my favorite club

Pacifico has some of the best music of any club in Halifax, it's less pop-y then the dome and cheers and cover is cheaper. They play mostly edm and the set up is pretty cool

I always come to Pacifico. I stand in line like everyone else even when the line is up to Barrington street. I went to ask the bouncers when will the line be moving I saw the big bouncer making people skip line and not stand in the regular or the VIP line. I approached him and asked him when will the line be moving and why are those people skipping line? He sarcastically responded ''Because I want to'' while smoking right in-front of the no smoking area on Pacifico door. I then went to the end of the line again and when I finally got to the front of the line after 25-35 minutes wait time, the bouncer who manages the regular line informed me that I won't be able to get in with a health card due to liquor license regulations and if I come back with another photo government ID I won't wait in line and go straight ahead. While we're having this conversation very peacefully and with respect, the big bouncer who said he is a supervisor approached us very aggressively and started shouting ''what the **** is going on'' ''I already told you to **** off'' I felt very embarrassed as the ''supervisor'' and the other bouncer who was handling the VIP line (looks new on the new door not the regular VIP line bouncer) on the right side were mocking and laughing at me. I honestly would never come to this place again and would promote that no one comes to this place again. All my friends come to this place for cheap drinks and great atmosphere but if I'm going to be treated with disrespect I would never show my face again. I hope this review goes to the management and those 2 bouncers get what they deserve.

I am going to hate myself.......... I was at Pacifico for the first Thursday night performance with the Mellotones at their new location on George Street . It was absolutely outstanding!! The Mellotones will play every Thursday night for the foreseeable future. The old bank is an amazing venue.....it feels and looks rich, European and exotic . It is superbly decorated and themed....marble, stone columns soaring ceilings and a great bar. Good staff. The Mellotones are Halifax's premier dance band. We are lucky to have a band of this calibre in the city. Music on Thursdays finishes a bit early due to Covid but the focus will be on a slightly older crowd who have no place else, in the HRM, to go. This makes it perfect for any couples looking for a date night.....groups of friends wanting to get together and singles desiring to see a live band in a fabulous venue. You can have a great night, get home by 12:30 and still get up for work in the morning on Friday. You can spend Friday and Saturday night with the kids or whomever. But Thursdays with the Mellotones should not be missed. My prediction is that the place is going to become THE place to be on a Thursday night and the over 35 crowd are going to flock here once word gets out. With Covid restrictions on the wane this place is going to rock. And that is why I am going to hate myself. Once Thursday nights take off, and they will, it might be hard for me to get in, as I suspect it will become very busy. A venue of this quality, in Halifax, and a great place to people watch, deserves nothing but the best.

You dont actually get to have your bottle at the table for bottle service, the bartender keeps running it back and forth to you.. So you sit there and wait to drink. I have never experienced that before. The DJ remixes top 40 music and its OK but he doesnt know how to blend with the vibes to consistently keep the dancefloor lit. I will not be back for their bottle service.

The DJ doesn't know how to work a crowd at all. He must be the owners son or something. Aside from that, pacifico is usually a good time and i'll go every now and again. I feel like it should be so much better but I guess the lack of competition in halifax makes the company feel comfortable where they are.

So I had to pee, and I used the men's washroom. I. Am. A female. I finished my pee in the men's stall, and as soon as I was done, I was escorted by two male security guards out of the bathroom, and I was told I was breaking the mysterious rules posted on the mysterious walls, that I, as a female, was not allowed to pee in the men's washroom. I was then kicked out of the club and told I was not welcome back because I was.... Breaking rules. OKAY. IT'S 2018 HOW IS IT SO OFFENSIVE THAT A FEMALE USES A MENS WASHROOM??? I will never ever return to pacifico. Ever. Terrible, terrible management.

So cool! This building is a renovated bank, they still have the old safe which is pretty cool! The place inside is very modern and the drinks are nice and tasty! We went there Saturday night and the live band was killing it, had lots of fun. To me, its not 5 stars because they took forever to take our order, we had to go to the bar ourselves several times to place our order. And also because it was full of screaming drunk kids, im assuming they were 19 but they were overly excited and a little bit annoying. Other than that, really nice place.

Was there a month ago for a Friday jazz night and WOW!. What a wonderful atmosphere!. The place looks great and the staff are polite and personable. We had a great time, met some interesting people, ate some lovely sliders; the jazz singer and people dancing were amazing. A very eclectic crowd as well. It was quite a treat. First time in two years things felt normal. Check it out when everything returns, you won't be disappointed.

I think Pacifico has one of the best club atmospheres in all of Halifax. The crowd is always young and friendly. The club is set up nicely so that you can choose to dance or talk. The resident DJs spin some mad mixes and the staff are great. I'd recommend this place above all the other clubs in Halifax.

The music was loud and the place was happening. Although you are not allowed to leave your seat even if you want to dance. If you want to eat some snacks along with the drinks so make sure you enter the place before 11 PM because after that their kitchen will be closed.

Girls night out started here...a tad too early though. It doesn't get hopping until after 10:30. Limited drink types but they are cheap. Music is techno and the dance floor was busy. Nice to get wrist band to re-enter if you smoke. The atmosphere was good, however it's mainly a younger crowd than we were.
