If you want to dance to good house music the Bower is the only place. It's not on the radar for a lot of the under 21 crowd, and that's a good thing.

Made a reservation in advance with my friend and were seated at the bar, which was fine. However, the bartender took our drink order once we sat down and then did not speak to us again. We sat there for over two hours with zero service. Horrible experience for a mediocre old fashioned drink.

I love coming here for the music. Only negative comment would be how grossly hot it gets in there..it can be a bit uncomfortable when its packed. Other than that, love the couches and the vibe. Friendly bartenders.

Terrible and dangerous! Unprofessional service to say the least. My boyfriend and I chose to spend New Years Eve here and he was bottled and punched by another client. He ended up leaving in an ambulance and needing stitches. While I understand that the actions of other customers are not the fault of the bar, the situation should have been handled better. My boyfriend was attacked unprovoked and staff failed to intervene when it happened. Other clients had to pull the man off of him. After, they failed to eject the men until after other customers complained. I am unsure if it is because they choose to save money by having fewer staff than necessary or because they are not trained properly. Leaving, the bouncer was rude and condescending. Stay away!!!

The decor and general atmosphere is awesome. If you want a classy, comfy night club, this is it. The staff were great, friendly, and fast. The DJ was AWFUL. We were there for three hours and spent most of the time trying to yell over the bass and figure out how he managed to mash elevator music, beatnik jazz, and generic techno. The place was packed and maybe ten people got on the dance floor to actually dance the whole night. Definitely put a damper on what would have been an amazing time.

Never got past the Bouncer. Asked a simple question, about how the information from my Drivers License that they were asking to scan was being stored and for how long. They either don't have a formal policy or don't train doormen / Managers on what it is. Needless to say, I probably won't be back. For context, dressed business casual, with a group of friends, and I'm over 40 and never been in a bar fight!

The music was far too loud and was the same god-awful tempo the entire night. Silly cover charge too. Bouncers were snobby about dress too, which was funny considering how trashy the clientele are to places like this. Veneer of class that's hardly justified.

Went here for my friends birthday. We went early enough to get a table and just catch happy hour and by 11pm it was super busy. The decor is unique and the music was good. The only downfall would be that the music got a little too loud closer to the end of the night. Great overall service at the table and the bar. Would definitely go back.

First fridays of the month are hip-hop night, one of my faves, otherwise it's a steady dose of house music, great house music at that. The staff treat you like family and the drinks are priced fairly. Get your groove on and dance the night away. The crowd is unpretentious and casual.
