Delicious breakfast buffet. Pretty standard fare with eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, french toast, omlette station but all fresh hot and yummy. Great friendly prompt service too!

We stopped in for a drink on Valentine's Day. There was no seating available, but we were perfectly fine sitting at the bar; we had a great chat with the bartender who let us try a delicious new cocktail not available on the menu yet! This was our favourite stop that night. Would love to come back again!

Our experience at the L1 lounge was mixed. The service started off good but we seemed to be forgotten about after our first couple bites of food. The lounge itself a quite nice, spacious and very dimly lit. The quality of food was pretty good and the portion was fair. Unfortunately my steak was under seasoned and our waitress did not come back to our table so I wasn't able to ask for salt. Overall it was good...not great.

Hello, I’d like to recall my experience at this lounge. My dad invited me, my sister and our significant others for lunch. We had a couple charcuterie platters, a burger and a salad. Everything was average as the charcruterie was mostly pickled vegetables, sardines, a few slices of prosciutto, and really hard bread. The salad was quite light with little to no dressing and the buns were dry on the burger. Really average stuff. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant even if you’re a traveller passing through as there’s many other places to eat in the mall.

August 10, 2021 We have returned to this great lounge and enjoyed the very good food. Our server was friendly and attentive. We requested the sound to be turned down and some other requests and we were accommodated. Very happy with the whole experience. Nice lounge/bar the seating is comfortable and the ambiance and decor is great. Happy hour drinks are reasonable prices. We ordered the L2 burger off the menu and it was tasty and served hot. I was impressed with the burger it was really good. The service was friendly and courteous. The washroom is clean. Overall it was a good visit and would come back again

Went for new Jazz night and was pleasantly surprised. Place looks like it was recently renovated. New menu, also extremely attractive. The most expensive dish at $16. Considering that L1 shares a kitchen with much fanciers L2, it's a still. Had the LOS NACHOS CON SALSA (artichoke dip, corn tortilla chips and salsa fresca) for $10, and tremendously joyed it. Draft beer was at $5, during the Happy Hour (3-7) which also a pretty good deal. Next time, will try their PAN SEARED SEA BREAM.

L1 Lounge isn't super classy but it is reasonably nice. Our steak dinners were 40 bucks each for AAA filet mignon and rib eye. We had a $20 antipasto appetizer that was absolutely delicious. They gave us complimentary warm bread to start and 5 chocolates with the bill. The server was very friendly and talkative and extremely attentive. The food arrived quickly and our drinks were regularly topped up. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and delicious. Veggies were perfect amount of crunchiness. The truffle butter was yummy and very creamy. I polished off my entire plate. The antipasto exceeded my expectations. Perfectly grilled veggies and complimentary flavors. Ambiance was nice and quiet with music playing but not too loudly. It wasn't very busy so we could have quiet conversation. Decor was predominantly red, nothing super fancy or high quality though. Good place for a date but be prepared to spend about $100-$120 on a meal for two.

This place is like a hidden gem in West Edmonton Mall. The rest of the mall will be packed with 1 hour line ups and L1 will have seating available. You can get the full restaurant menu in the lounge which is what I did. I ordered steak and lobster and it was pretty good. Service was great!

Right off of fantasy land you would think this place would be packed for a breakfast buffet. We were the only ones there. At $20 for a buffet you'll be eating boiled sausages soggy pancakes and waffles. Unless you want to pay 18.99 for a box of cereal,toast and yogurt cups id suggest going somewhere else. They have fresh cut fruit though

We came in expecting really friendly waiters ,when instead a middle age woman came to our table and rudely started accusing us of coming there,the Wednesday before and eating breakfast and leaving without paying.We were astonished she was talking to us in such a mean tone,when we started to explain we lived two hours away n were never in the upstairs dining area before she kept interrupting us saying we shouldent lie about it she was 99% sure it was us.we asked to see security footage and she said she would get it,We never got to see the footage.we didn't feel welcome,and we have never been there before.

We came here for date night, the night of Feb 21,2022. I can't remember the name of the bar tender/server but he was SO friendly, hospitable and very personable. We enjoyed being served our drinks by him. Absolute sweetheart. The drinks were good but I can't comment about the food since we didn't eat here. I will absolutely come back here. 5 ???? service. Girlfriend and i went there to have a couple drinks before we saw a movie tonight. Sat there for 15 minutes and didn’t even get Aknowledged. There was only one table with 2 guys, and a couple at the bar. The bartender kept looking over but no one came over to ask us anything. The bartender came and bussed tables nearby us and again... nothing. We went out to the front of the bar to see if they were even open and sure enough they were. Left and went to earls on bourbon and 15min behind us came the couple that was at the bar who clearly left after us as well.

Beware of ordering the 100$ platter. It was suggested to my boyfriend and I from the waitress to use the meal voucher we had, and was recommended by the table next to us. It was honestly the biggest waste of 100$ I've ever had in my life, which was very disappointing. The platter was single portions cut in half and I honestly don't feel like it was worth the price. The butter for the lobster was not butter, it tasted like bland oil that you'd get at Cineplex for popcorn. Real butter is not a dark orange/yellow color. Whatever the sauce was tasted like a mix between gravy and watered down BBQ sauce. The food was so bland I had to dip it in the sauce just to eat it. We also tried the calamari as an appetizer and it was just as bad, it was soggy and chewy and the charcoal seasoning was just odd and unnecessary. Needless to say we will not be coming back, or recommending it to anyone else. The only good thing we had was the iced tea. It's unfortunate because the service was fine and the waitress was nice, the food was just not acceptable for that price point. Don't tell me anyone would gladly pay 100$ for 2 tiny lobster tails, 4 shrimp, a steak, chicken breast, and a serving of veggies that's supposed to feed 2 people ?! You're better off ordering entrees or appetizers to use up your voucher, or better yet save yourself the disappointment and just don't eat here.

I love this place! It's been a tradition for me for quite a few years to stop in and have shot or 2 of tequila everytime I'm at the mall. Staff is always awsome. And it's a great place to take a breather from the bustle of the mall and relax. It's cozy and quiet, and oddly enough alot of people do not know it's there. I selfishly would like it to stay that way, but I also would like to see other's get a chance to enjoy what I have for the last few years. Highly recommended
