Chivalry is dead there they don't know how to treat a lady. Unless you look a certain way. More importantly the line was very tight and not a lot of people had their masks on. I didn't see that Covid-19 measures were being followed at all. I suggest regulating public health safety more than anything else, safety first!

Would not let me in due to the fact I was wearing a tank top and “not a shirt”. If you are of asian decent, I do not recommend coming to this establishment it seems as tho for some reason there is a dress code for people who look like us. Seems as tho it is a type of place that has too much demand so they can act like d*cks.

The best place ever for celebrating a birthday for beloved once. Try to reach there before 9.30 oclock to rush avoid and reservation is important while smashing birthday party. Staff are so friendly and nice even after they are so tired from a long shifts. They do their best to make you happy. Thank you everyone for amazing experience.

The vibe is really good it doesn't matter on which floor you are on, so don't worries about going to the 3rd floor because you have to pay a $10 fee entrance. I had so my fun for my birthday, Cody works there and he took care of us also make sure we were very comfortable. Most importantly don't forget your proof of Covid vaccination because they won't let you in without it.

Fire and ice is literally the most chill lounge in Calgary. Ive been coming here since i moved to Calgary 6 years ago. The music is always so good, they always pick the best djs. They have been super consistent over the last 6 years that i have been going there and they never disappoint! The basement was always my favourite spot until they created the top floor, the lights and the ambiance is so nice on the top floor, and its the most popular now. If you want a booth up there, you need to arrive early. I am extremely happy that they made it through the pandemic, i look forward to many more nights there!

This place used to be my absolute favourite place to go. Last night I went in and was denied acccess because i was “too intoxicated”. I HAD NOTHING TO DRINK THAT NIGHT!!! I was clearly sober as well. Not going there again

Its a cool place but the music was litterally just some random youtube dj. Our server did not check in very often. The crispy shrimp is really good but the calimari was sad.

Ye olde fire and ice; I love the chicken burgers, it's definitely a local singles hangout, waitresses are friendly. The bathrooms are abhorrent though, be warned.

The food was delicious and their service was amazing!! The server was so friendly (forgot her name). My friend and I had a really good time. It was a great experience and I will want to come again for the night time. This great service will have me recommend this place to people I know. Only thing is that the sheesha doesn’t last long, one hour, which isn’t really typical in other places.

Fire N Ice could have been 5 stars because the atmosphere, food, and shisha were really good. However I felt like we didn't get the best service, had to wait long periods of time. We wanted more drinks a few times but just never got approached to have our order taken. Otherwise, it was a good experience and I'll definitely be back again.

One of my favourite places that I’d go to on the random occasion. Atmosphere is amazing and servers are awesome! However, are treated without integrity. I was hired 2 weeks ago, along with one other individual. Both got fired without explanation after being told that shifts would be continued after asking management if we should find another job. This could be because of covid. But very unprofessional management.

This is a great establishment if you like shisha (even though it is rated to be more unhealthy than cigarettes), but amazing atmosphere, staff- very nice and professional- very knowledgeable- amazing! Come here if you want to try even as a newcomer they will welcome you warmly. Lots of variety with the tastes and lovely selection of drinks

Love the music on Sundays but unfortunately they are very sneaky. We reserved a table, and they didn't tell us we had to get a bottle if we did, they didn't let us order anything else until we ordered a bottle. Also charged us cover even though we called and they said we didn't have to before 9pm, we arrived at 8:40 They also make you wait for hours in the lineup even though it's empty inside.

Interesting area open to POC and full of flavour which is awesome. Good food. Ok service. Spent $1000 on a few bottles and was told I had to pay in cash - not happy about that. Definitely put up a bit of a fit to not pull out money from an ATM when I bought a round for a good number of other patrons in there. Staff didn’t care to double check on drinks. May go back, but be ready to wait for what you get.

The bar not bad, if your going with friends and family, your not going to hear them well because of how loud the music is, you can get up and dance if you want. Do to the lightning, the menu is going to be a little hard to see Beware that there's going to be a Security check before you enter in and you will need your ID, for example Identification card or a Driver's License

Horrible place. Can't understand the almost strip search they do at the entrance and taking face pictures and scanning id. Broken tiles in the lounge. Disgusting washroom. Very noisy music, Cocktail tasted less liquor ! Rip off !Never back.

Horrible customer service experience! website was not updated so when we arrived at 10:10pm, we tried to order food but were told service ended at 10pm. When asked them to turn up the music they said they were closing! sorry but i wanted some dope music! got charged full price for a shisha we didnt even get to enjoy......UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE!!!

Covid restrictions has affected it (closes before 11pm on a Friday) but its still a lively place. Excellent atmosphere Happy to be able to hang out somewhere and have a little bit of the old normal

They got three sections you can go to, one is upstairs and the second one is the main floor and lastly the basement. They play great music. The vibe in there is very relaxed, right when you enter they offer you a table and shisha. Overall a great place to be during the weekend. It's really busy on Fridays and Sundays ,so get there early like 9pm.

Loved it. Very fun experience. The service was top notch and the drinks were great. My only complaint was the odd smell when you went to the back to use the washrooms. It almost smelled like hampster shavings. It was VERY potent. But despite the scent in the bathroom area...I will definitely go back. It is very nicely decorated and a fun atmosphere!

Very bad service, Staff are nice, but asking a drink cab take you 48 minutes. Asking for a hookah coal person, get you 137 minutes until he come since you asked the whole staff. Staff treat you nicely, manager is nice. But two worst main things in this shisha bar, when you reserve, and come 30 minutes driving, and they say to you, that there are no reservations to you, and they ignore about you when getting their. Even the customers, we upset woth the service pace. The place is safe and nice, but service pace/ reservations are the worst thing in Fire n ice. I hope my message be as an advise for the first time customers. Don't be surprised of my comment, go and find out their.

I had heard a lot about this place and was extremely excited to try it for the first time. Went in with a group after an agreement with management that we would be able to only buy 3 for about $700. Ended up getting a bums rush from the staff when we showed and had to pay an additional 250 on top of that just to stay. Seems like a massive bait and switch. Not happy. That was even before paying for the shisha which was over priced and subpar. Spent the better part of two hours trying to get it to work and one of our group couldn’t even smoke his because it was so harsh. When we talked to them about it, nothing was done with a “deal with it” attitude. Extremely disappointed and would not go back again nor would I recommend it to anybody else. Thanks for the let down of an evening Fire n Ice.

Very very busy but a great vibe. Lighting can be Extreme and unpredictable so don't come here if u have epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing lights. My friends and I enjoy it here, its nice they have dancing again. Aside from being over crowded I have no complaints

We got a spot in the basement, the service was not good, one waitress just stood around the whole time and the other would walk past us and see empty drinks. Finally had to get up and go to the bar to pay for my tab as she was not coming back..They served my boyfriend a completely WARM bottle of beer. Who wants a warm beer at the club?! Hookah was meh, did not taste the flavour we ordered. Music was good.

What a huge disappointment this place was we had to sit at a table with 2 other random girls. Then we asked lots of times to go upstairs. Said we couldn't but allowed every random from outside to go up! The bathrooms terrible and the service was by far the worst I have ever gotten the waitress came to our table twice if that. And spent 45 mins trying to get a bill. Highly recommend checking somewhere else and not waste your time.

I am from the states and going here for the first time was refreshing. The service I received from my server was A1. She consistently ensure I had all needed a checked in consistently. Oliver was superb. Very professional. It was a great experience and shows the warmest of Calgary people. I strongly recommend trying it out and asking for Oliver.

The worst service I have encountered! They have zero understanding of what it means to make a reso. Showed up on time for our bottle service but was asked to line up and wait. Everything took forever and the attitude of the bouncer/owner was not acceptable. This was my first time at this place and definitely my last! 0 should be an option

Very poor service you would expect after they opened up again that they would provide good service. They were very slow for a night that wasn’t busy. As soon as a group got there before us they got served before us they never even asked if we wanted anything right away. The place is dirty and over hyped. I celebrated my birthday on a Sunday night. It was amazing the staff there was so caring and making sure we are comfortable. Kayla (i don't know if that's right pronounce? was our waitress and she was so kind. The place is really nice for party, but make sure you have enough money in your pocket as they are a bit overpriced. Spend more than 1k but that was okay for a bday!

I love the new addition of upstairs! It's beautifully lit up, still has great music and shisha but they definitely need to work with trained bartenders to creat a better and balanced drink menu the draft beer was off tasting and the Ice Ice baby (house drink) was overly sour. Definitely worth going back but probably not for drinks.

It's a really nice place.. loud club type of hookah lounge. Would try sticking to mid or top floor. Bottom level kind of sucks. Not the cleanest hookah lounge... where we were sat down there was like half eaten pizza on the ground it was kinda gross. Would recommend the tortilla chips & Naan bread with the cheese dip. That was really good ^

Friendly staff and a clean place to go dancing and the shisha is good too. I Love the genre of songs the DJ played. Wait time on the queue outside was less than 5 minutes. I was asked to show my COVID vaccine record before entry.

Atmosphere is fun, food is decent, bathroom very gross everytime, male staff can be rude and stuck up. Being a shisha bar they make them pretty bad every time, burning way too quickly. If you go keep your expectations low. Its uninviting to say the least.

If I could give 10/5 I would. I experienced possibly the best customer service of all time the other day. A few days ago, I went to fire n ice with a couple of friends. The floor manager there that day, Junaid, was full of personality plus. He not only gave us a good table, but also made sure that we were comfortable there all the time. He was approachable, attentive, professional and knowledgeable. Every time we visit fire n ice, the servers as well are very friendly and accommodating. Please give our thanks to the manager and your staff. Amazing interior, good ambience, fun music, great staff. Kudos to the hospitality!
