This Night Club is included in the category of Night club.
Very poorly managed
I love this club! Beautiful people and good music. My only complaint is they arent open 7 days a week. Feels like Vegas inside ????????
This place is off the hook. They spent the money and the music is bump'in!!
NYE = even with a ticket, wait 40 mins in -29 weather to get in only to wait another half hour to simply coat check...and then thery're full. Great job on being prepared for the event/crowd!
The atmosphere is very unwelcoming, with slow service and terrible layout design this club is not the place to be if you're looking for a night out on town. I would sooner recommend The Ranch before this place.
Will never ever return to Envy. Spent over $100 on tickets to the show on NYE for my boyfriend and I. Waited in a line that didn't even budge for 25 minutes in the cold, then got in and waited another 25 minutes for coat check for them to say "their boss said no more." I'm sorry? Paid $50 a ticket to your "sold out" event and you're not even organized enough to handle the jackets even though it was -30? Don't hold events you can't handle.
One of the best nightclubs in the city.
Its always dead empty in this bar or packed to the point where you cant move a foot in either direction. Last time i was here i ordered a round of jager bombs for my and some friends. 11 DOLLARS EACH. then put the remaining amount of change i had into the tip jar (a couple dollars) The bartender then proceeds to scoff at me and tell me that i didn’t even put anything in it. Absolutely ludicrous way to treat your customers. Will never return
I wish everytime the doors opened at Envy Nightclub there was a big headliner or event. Sometimes regular nights are not so busy...but the place is massive...and being a event orientated nightclub makes up for it. The bass, the lights, the stage....and 600 ppl jamming out make for a awesome time. They are also super accommodating for large groups...and there's literally hundreds of parking stalls.
Makes prospective employees invite their whole friends lists to like the page. Very creepy and scummy! Definitely wouldn't trust management. Especially Chris! Yuck, what scumbags. Maybe they should get an education so they can find real jobs.
Great looking club, sound system is great. Bar staff can be hit or miss but its a good nightclub.
Listen to the bad reviews please . My friend and I ignored them we were visiting for a few nights and decided to just go for it . For 1 there was an “event” the night we went it was 10$ to get in. We asked them if it was busy inside and they said there was over 100 people . We went inside and there was 2 small groups of friends who weren’t dancing , for a nightclub on a Saturday night with an event being that dead I understand why they would scam us lmao. But honestly go to Knoxville or the priv . We walked in and walked right out even after paying 10$ and went and hung out at earls bar and had more fun lmao . ???? wouldn’t even give the 1 star . They are all rude as hell too
Dead. Go to Whyte Ave or Jasper Ave instead...
I went to envy and was miss treated. The one bar girl told me I had the cutest ass. It's not just cute; but amazing! Like what an c*nt!!! So I got angry and told her off. I then proceeded to get VIP because I have such an awesome personality. As I was in VIP with me myself and I and decided it was time for me to dance and shake what God gave me. I killed it on the dance floor with my electric chives! But then the worst part of my night happened... I went back to my VIP area because I am very important and drank all the alchohol. THEN THEN EXPECTED ME TO PAY FOR IT!!! Unfortunately I naturally didn't have any money so I did what I had to do... a dance off. But apparently it was rigged so they said I lost. But ya that's my story and ya. Choi
This place is a joke they just threw my wife out of the club in the winter with out letting her get her jacket this place is a over priced joke
So my friend dragged me to Envy Nightclub on 9/23/2016. My other friend that was there was with his girlfriend. He apparently knows the manager Chris that works there and they arranged for a table and bottle service. So we get there and had to pay $30 (even though we're on the list) to get in. We waited for a table for over 30 minutes for a table. When we finally got to the table my friends girlfriend ordered 2 bottle that nobody consented too. I told her and everybody at the table don't touch or order any bottles cause I didn't know how it was going to be paid. I went to grab my friend that made the arrangements to take back a bottle. when we got back the seconded liquor bottle was opened. He said he was going take care of it and talk to the manager after. So everyone was drinking ( I wasn't really having a nice time) and forgetting the consequences of that night. When it was time to pay one of bottle service girls came up to me and tried to make me pay. Explained numerous times that my friend was taking care of the bill, please go talk to him. Then everyone that was at the table tried to leave me behind. Security held me back and took my credit card and I.D away from me. They brought back the people that tried to ditch and made all of us stay behind. They threatened me and the people I was with if someone doesn't pay then they would call the cops and they'll take us to jail. My so called friends were trying to make me pay for my bill. I was furious and I told them no unless I talk to a manager cause this was getting out of hand. Finally the manager Chris came down pulled me off to the side. I told him the situation and what was going on. He agreed it was an unfair situation, but someone had to pay. He told me to pay for the bill of $540.00, but I'll be reimbursed for $250 cause of the circumstances the following Saturday morning. Or they call the cops and we all go to jail. I reluctantly agreed and we exchanged information (phone numbers and my personal email) and we shook hands and gave his word that this would be settled (because that was the majority of my rent money and he understood that it was unjust). On 9/24/2016 of that morning I called the manager Chris about the reimbursement. He didn't answer. I left several text and answering machines messages on his personal cell phone. I ended up going to Envy that evening to settle the reimbursement. Chris was not there and I had to speak to another manager about the situation. I explained to the on duty manager the situation and the agreement that me and Chris had made. She was very rude and saying it was not her problem. I tried to show her the messages I sent to him and the number to reach him at so she can talk to him and confirm what I was saying. She said she didn't want to see anything and told me to wait. Five minutes later she came with security and apparently now have a bar band placed on me for trying to claim my reimbursement. Later from what I was told from employees from Envy that they had no idea why that happened and told me after I was forced to pay the bill they made my friend and his girlfriend pay an extra $100 dollars. This been honestly the worst experience I ever had going out in the Edmonton nightlife. I never been treated so disrespectfully by my friends and people from the bar industry. The lesson I got from this was get new friends. And don't trust or go to Envy and the people that work there cause their word doesn't mean anything. Funny. I always thought shaking somebodies hand and giving their word meant something. Apparently not to Chris Scopis and the people at Envy.
This nightclub is the place to be on Friday and Saturday nights. The staff always provides fast, high-quality service and the energy within the room is a definite mood-booster.
Went for the pub crawl this past saturday. Bar looks cool but look closer and you’ll see washroom stalls flooding, broken glass under tables and sneaky bartenders.....gave a $20 for a redbull and had to stand there for 10min for him to look at me and come back. Told him I wanted my change and he kept telling me I gave him a $5. This place is gross and shady. Way better places to drink and dance in Edmonton!!!
Awesome night club to dance and party
So apparently if you spend $50 dollars on a tickets you still have to wait in line behind people who didn't.
Came here for a show during a playoff game and they said they would play the game and then turned it off 10min into the 3rd period............
Absolutely terrible establishment with over-priced drinks and a manager / owner that loves to rip his patrons off.
A worker lost my friend's ID then said it wasn't her problem. Then the bartender put my other friends change in the tip jar without asking, then when she asked how much the change was she said "you're not gonna die over $2" and threw the change at her. Will never be back there.
The music is good but it’s usually empty, in my point of view a waste of money
When Envy advertises ticket prices and confirms to customers over the phone the advertised price then tries charging double at the door shows customers that the employees are trying to pocket extra money! Quite scandalous and corrupt! Big thumbs down!
I'm still here at the place and can't wait for the night to be over. The place is beautiful. We got a VIP table for 10 people. So we are force to buy two bottles minimum. We buy the two bottles n they only bring two bottles of ginger and they charge $10 per refill on the sodas. The bottles where super expensive they should at least give the sodas for free. Two bottles weren't enough for 10 people. The floor is supper sticky so for Encuentro de Caleños was a disaster because you couldn't danc well. Never coming here again!
