I like country music the same way I like olives: I don't. Despite this, welcome to one of the most professional, quality night life staples near Whyte. Get your two step on, ride the bull, or even play some pool. This gem will have you laughing, cheering or possibly booted! However, that is all in the past because you know what? Always have a good experience when it comes to Cook County! The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the establishment itself is spacious and fun. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the lineup to get in is typically pretty long for both entrance and coat check.

When I went I had a good time, but I believe I lost an item there and they are unable to answer their phone or clear out their mailbox. I have been calling everyday during business hours to try to get a response and I have yet to get one.. it is too far out of my way to pop by and try to ask in person if they have my item because if they don't I wasted my time and my gas for nothing and I am not planning in going back soon so I can't just ask while I'm there. It's terrible customer service

I’ve been to cook county many times they have great music and really nice bouncers the atmosphere there was also really awesome they go from line dancing to hip hop and r&b and whatever else u can think of u just gotta request it the coat check ppl were also really nice 2$ and the prices for drinks r decently cheap but really good

If you're a fan of country music, there is no other venue even comparable to the experience of Cook County. The bar is always filled with high energy & great vibes along with amazing staff who always go above & beyond to make sure you are having the time of your life. If you go be sure to order a "Pail" for your drink. Best bang for your buck!

Complete waste of time. Front door is a gong show. Put on the guest list by a friend and they couldn't find my name. Pay $10 to get in and oh wait we'll give you 2 free drink tokens. The point of a guest list is no line no cover. The girl taking cover charge has no people skills at all. Watched a birthday party walk in before 1030 as they were told too. The cover girl had them in line past 1030 and charged them cover. Complete snot about it. Don't waste your time going there.

In spite of the Vax passports, it was quite busy which was good. Felt like they were a bit short staffed for the amount of people there. Took a while to get drinks. The price of the drinks was quite high. Other than that it's a fun time.

Do not go to this place if it is winter, they will leave you outside to freeze. At the begging of the night they left me outside in snowing weather while they waited inside, had to find a nearby resturant to stay warm until they would let me in. Then at the end of the night there were mulitple girls in tanktops getting thrown outside in freezing weather becuase they threw up (in the toilet in the bathroom) Most mean security gaurds ive ever met.

Young crowd but music was good. Asked a bartender if they had non-alcoholic beer and she very rudely told me no and walked away. Didn't offer me a pop or even a water. When she did come back I asked her for a water and she half filled it and almost threw it at me down the bar.

Shout out to bouncers Franklin and Graham for being some of the nicest and most friendly bouncers I've met in a long time. Not everyone is so willing to put up with 3 drunk "older" ladies. Thanks for making our first time out in a long time that much better. Would recommend this bar to anyone who asks, good atmosphere, better staff.
