Finally, Edmonton's north east end is graced by a great new LIVE ENTERTAINMENT venue! Really enjoyed kicking up my heels on that brand new (huge) dance floor! Great sound, great atmosphere and great staff!

Boot Scootin Boogie Dancehall has it all. It is the premier Country Venue in Edmonton. It doesn't get any better. With live music most weekends, an incredible dance floor that only compares to Billy Bob's in Dallas Texas. Don't pass up a chance to take a spin on thier dance floor, you will not regret it !

Live music, huge dance floor, casual welcoming atmosphere. Went for a small birthday gathering and the place was packed. So much fun. Edmonton is truly fortunate to have such a great new venue, I highly recommend checking it out.

Massive, pristine dancefloor, LOUD and clear soundsystem, great lights, tons of seating in bar and lounge, super-friendly staff & ownership that treats guests like family, and not just for country fans: EDM djs, rock bands, top 40 pop singers, rappers...everyone takes the stage and produces shows here. 19K sq ft of awesome in the city's booming northside!

I've attended this venue dozens of times as both a musician and as a patron, and the experience has always been positive. The bands are treated fairly, the staff are friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced. The live entertainment is top notch, the dance floor is huge and there are dance lessons every week! Not to mention the level of local music support. Even when there isn't a band, the recorded music is packed with local artists to dance to. Easily one of the best country music venues in the city.

Apparently it's still just opening, the bar side.. For the last month.. But there's no music in there(it was only my guest and I in the whole place, we requested music and we were told "we are just opening still"). No beer on tap.. And we played the vlts because it was awkward sitting there alone without any sound and the waitress wasn't around, when we won, they couldn't cash our tickets, because they had no money and asked me to come back tomorrow. Why are the vlts being played when you have no money, should give a couple a heads up next time.. $5 canned beer tho haha .

Attended a fund raiser organized by my brother Gordon Forsyth. The dance hall is fantastic !!!! Great stage, dance floor, and decor. Most of the people working there were exceptionally friendly. The doormen were a little too aggressive trying to justify their existence tho. Average age there was 50+ so no real need for twisting a harmless old mans' arm up over his head to toss him outside. That was the only blemish on an otherwise extremely enjoyable night. Good food, drinks, and music. Thank you TL. We will be back.

Used for a group of people, with small businesses, to display their products, such as: scentsy products, aromatic oils, crystals, beaded bracelets for spirituality, tarot card readings. People brought different foods, so a small buffet was available for people who attended. Saw some girls learning to line dance, on the dance floor to recorded music. There were door prizes, prizes donated.... One from each business plus there was a 50/50 draw Very interesting afternoon. Had fun!!

Had a simply wonderful time dancing here last night! The dance floor is amazing like dancing on a cloud. The whole country atmosphere is warm open and very inviting. Drinks are so very reasonably priced. This is definitely a place to call home for dancing!!

A beautiful dance floor. A full bar. An outstanding stage. Great 'live' music. Constant improvements including sound and lighting. Friendly and welcoming staff. Volunteers that give it that friendly, family and community touch. Lessons before the dances and opportunities to practice during breaks. Who could ask for more? Probably only the hostess challenging herself because she strives for excellence and for the best Wild West Club for all ages.

Wasn't worth the price of admission on the night I went. $25 was steep. Maybe worth it on the $10 or $15 night. They charge for water and do not give out free tap water. This I find to be the biggest rip off, $2.50 for a 30 cent bottle of water is just a money grab, it makes more sense to keep water in my vehicle. I haven't heard of many reputable places that charge for water, especially when there is a door charge. The above being said the facilities are superb, large dance floor that is clean, and friendly staff. Drink prices are great, $5 drink tokens.

I really enjoy going to Boot Scootin'Boogie . They have awesome live entertainment there. It's an atmosphere that I feel totally safe in. The drink prices are very reasonable. I totally understand the need for charging for the water it's called Overhead. I am so happy this club is keeping live country music alive. Hat's off to Terrylynn and all her amazing staff.

The lady that runs the nonprofit society is wonderful and she listens to any concerns that others may have. The staff there is very nice and the food is great and the dance lessons are especially fun and it's affordable.

BootScootinBoogie is a very comfortable place to go out for an evening to enjoy very talented live bands to dance to on a very new dance floor. All the staff are always very welcoming generous and helpful with a smile on their faces. Going to these dances at BSB for the past little while I have seen friends that I have not seen in years. Must add that I also made some new life time friends. People of all ages if you are looking for something to do that is very reasonable price wise come on down.

Went here last night around midnight and was shocked at the number of kids (6-8 yrs old) running around the dance floor. I asked the bartender how this is allowed and they told me they have a special license and it’s “not a bar it’s a community center.” Left around 1, not sure how I feel about dancing with kids running amuck. The owner was really nice and bought us shots. .. it’s too bad, it has great potential. But the cover charge + empty bar + kids running around ruined it....
