On our recent 11,000km, 47 day journey to Dawson City, Alaska, and beyond we met Edie in Watson Lake. She is such a beautiful person and answered all the questions we didn't even know we needed to know! This was by far the best information centre we went to in terms of customer service and information. Thank you for being a part of our adventure!

The best visitor centre I’ve ever visited! And Edie is very kind lady, she gave us lots of useful information and brochures. Thank you so much!

Internet speed is painfully slow, but there is internet. Download speed 0.24 Mbps and upload speed 0.04 Mbps. very helpful and friendly staff. As usual with northern towns , good chance someone can help you in a small town, it is matter of connecting with the right person. MUST VISIT - Lauries, the best food in town and the ONLY place where you can get an Americano!

Great customer service, thanks for your help.

Great service and very friendly, helpful staff. We left with a lot of guides and flyers. The wifi is little bit to slow for checking messages and mails especially if there are people skyping...

I’ve enjoyed almost every Yukon info centre but liked this one the most. All the staff members here are super awesome (EXTREMELY helpful!) and I’ve been here at least 3 times while on a motorcycle trip. They also helped me get started on making a sign and then even complimented it afterwards :D Free wifi, electricity, water, coffee...

The visitor center is currently located in the recreation center. We visited there today and met the two NICEST and most HELPFUL employees: Edie and Lelah. We were interested in making a sign for the Watson Lake sign forest. They told us where to get the wood, loaned us markers and paints and then gave us nails and loaned us a drill bit (we had a drill) to hang the sign. Edie also gave us information on places we’ll see as we head south on the highway (including best towns to get gas and, more importantly, cinnamon rolls). Stop by there if you have questions. Plus, free Wi-Fi!!

Very helpful staff. A good place to call in and visit

Friendliest, most helpful visitors center I found on my way from Florida to Alaska and back.
