Lovely little museum/cultural center/heritage house run by the Selkirk First Nation. Moosehide-and-beadwork crafts, wooden artifacts, historical photographs, spiritual art. Apparently local students are involved in archaeological digs in the area, and the museum had explanatory poster displays. I received a very friendly (free) tour (donations accepted). Very much worth a stop (it is apparently open during the summer season mid-May to mid-September). Located right next to a pleasant grocery store at the gas station.

Small, but very interesting cultural and historical centre. Free admission. Friendly and helpful staff person. Three large lovely paintings and several photos depicting the lives of 3 sisters. Small number of good quality items for sale. Moose hide canoe on display. Glad we visited (July 5/19).

Well worth the stop to get a great understanding of the indigenous people in the area. The ladies were helpful in answering our questions and they have lovely handmade gifts for sale. Highly recommend this stop
