Excellent discussion of the mineral development history, and important insights into the community culture, transportation, agriculture, with some wonderful photos depicting community life in Keno, Yukon. There is also a small display of the rare butterflues that occur in the alpine around Keno (attached photo). Admission fee of $4 for seniors. The layout and documentation is excellent. Well worth the visit!

Christiane Cramp

It's the off-season and the town looks sleepy, steeped in trimendous history. It's actually 1 town renamed Keno and still holds the 2nd oldest building in the Yukon, Sourdough Roadhouse.

Jesus Eduardo Soto Arzate

Amazing place

(Translated) A must for anyone traveling in the area. All Keno a museum with friendly inhabitants. Do not forget to refuel in Mayo because there is nothing in Keno !! (Original) Ein Muß für jeden der in Gegend unterwegs ist. Ganz Keno ein Museum mit freundlichen Einwohnern. Nicht vergessen in Mayo nochmal zu tanken, weil es in Keno nichts gibt!!

Great museum seeing they way mining used to be done!

It’s like a trip back in time. Amazing to see how the mines operated. How the prospectors and minors and lift. All the equipment they used. There are a lot of other art facts that are displayed in the museum that are really interesting not necessarily related to my name. We had young kids with us and they enjoyed it as well. We did all three museums and it was worth a visit!
