A great tourist stop. Goes into detail on how the police started and grew. Lots of cool weapons of all types. Great descriptions and examples of contraband weapons, crimes, police proceedures. The morgue is as detailed as could be and not for the squeamish, but easily avoided if needed. Great staff which explained the museum and even has some great lunch suggestions.
Was great. Was under construction when I went but still interesting. Affordable and great thing to do as a tourist in your own town or on a rainy day. If crime is not your thing maybe not the best place to go. They have very interesting crime artifacts and historical Vancouver crime cases. Very interesting!
This place has a very old history about the police in Vancouver. Also has a display of the old Morgue. Believe it or not, the place is hunted. I am very sensible to energies and the moment I entered the place, not knowing what it was, immediately felt my hair rising and some kind of heavy or weird energy passing through me. But leaving that aside, it may he interesting for those who like history and police stuff.
very good museum
Actually I don't like their price. But quite interesting..
Very informative museum, but smaller then expected. It also only took about an hour to look at all the exhibits on display.
The exhibit is tiny but the morgue room is super cool for forensic geeks like myself. They have on display actual items from crime scenes dating back to the 1950’s, and thought that was really interesting. Paid only $10 (student pricing) but its only $12 for adults so i think its totally worth it to check out, especially on a rainy day. 4 stars only because it’s super small but definitely was beyond my expectation!
Recollections of the most famous crimes, a Gastown Riot and the Stanley Cup Riot in one room, and recalling the most infamous investigations.... I'll bring the biggest crime fan of all history, my Mom!
Was a real hoot, and so reasonably priced. And downright interesting!
Amazing history and some very cool displays. The weapons and autopsy room were amazing!
Very interesting! Definitely worth a visit.
Museum is too small but in it we can see different type of crime commited in past.
Weekday
Love it! Lots of interesting activities planned with a lot of love (you can tell!). For example, they have movies in the morgue! Definitely worth checking out.
Went there at 2pm google stated they close by 5pm. Arrived to closed locked doors with a paper sign stating closing early for some reason by 4pm. It was 2:15-2:30pm. Didn't get to see anything.
They're closed but the staff on the phone was really kind and helpful
Very enjoyable visit.
Small but they do feature some interesting displays. Tours are available of the neighbourhood within a historical context.
Very cool museum. I like this museum because it is relatively small and interesting. I don't like spending all day in a museum. The section on famous Vancouver crime cases us very cool.
Cool exhibitions, and interesting information about the events of the city an crimes.????
lots of weapons to see and some other things as well, think about the age of your child before bringing them here to this museum, other than that it is a real gem and glad it is in the city
Don't give them your time and money. Colonial, violent, murdering Vancouver Police - history from THEIR eyes... yea, okay.
Very interesting, but quite small.
Interesting but slightly dated. Some videos and technical items not working.
Very interesting place to visit! The autopsy room is the most impressive thing)
Interesting museum but quite small - need to be wary of which route you walk from Vancouver city
Visited on
This museum is awesome for anyone who likes crime related stuff. They showcase everything from historical artifacts to confiscated weapons, drug paraphernalia, etc. They also have a room dedicated to unsolved crimes and they have a mourge and an autopsy room. The building itself was the original coroner's office it is quite the exhibit. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.
The museum’s building was neat and historical, and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. However, information was either not present or contradictory to the point where I left knowing less than I came in with. If you’re a fan of history, use Wikipedia. If you‘re a fan artifacts, then without a doubt this is the place for you!
Interesting place. I was expecting a better setup. A simple place I hope they make changes to make a more wow experience.
Small but very educational. Every time I came, I learnt something new. Staff have put quite some thoughts into it.
When we went we found that most of the museum, which is not a large one in any case, was closed for a film shoot, but they hadn't seen fit to put this information on their web site.
The coroner's office is rad!
I've been here before with a haunted Vancouver tour and really enjoyed it. But last night we went to hear some local ba ds play in the morgue!!!! How awesome of a venue is that? They were the first bands to ever play there. It was organized awesome and you could still go through the other areas and see all the displays etc. Some creepy artifacts of passed murders and the autopsy room was turned into a bar....come on! So fun. Was a great night and I'd go back to hear more bands play at this venue. Sounded good too.
I really liked it .it's very interesting place
We went there a few years ago and they changed it around a bit. They have a computer there with software so you can build a suspect's face. It's a small museum but if you are the type to read everything you could spend 1.5 -2 hours there.
Took my 9 & 7 yr old grandsons. It is, as others have said, a small museum. The boys and I liked it. The curator was excellent, spending time on a briefing before we went in. He was especialy concerned that the bots not be disturbed by the autopsy suite. Needn't have worried. Little ghouls loved that part. It is interesting and well laid out. An hour is ample to explore it. A word of caution for those not from area - it is not a very salubrious part of town. Parking is easy before 3pm - lots of meters at $2 for 2 hours
Great place to bring kids while in Vancouver.
The morgue is cool. The area is not a good one so best to take a cab.
Spooky displays, but good experience, especially during the Halloween tour.
Interesting with lots to read. Want to see a morgue this is the place to go
(Visits 1) I really enjoyed my visit, but the museum was a bit small. For the 12$ entrance fee I guess I was expected a bit more. Its not far from Gas Town, but you have to walk through or past a few of Vancouver's seedier streets to get there. Not that big of a deal, it is across the street from a real police station.
Nice little police museum. 1 hours visit is enough
Cool interactive experience! The weapon wall was particularly interesting.
Very interesting and engaging exhibit. Time well spent!
Wonderful knowledge to be had! So much history.
It was alright. It's in a historic building and there are a couple interesting and chilling exhibits but the experience won't blow you away or have you coming home with a phone full of beautiful or memorable photos.
Nice and interesting place. Loved the history and the way looks the morgue. Really good people works there.
Not just about police, history about traffic laws, and riots! Those things are all pretty lit but they also have a massive exhibit on the criminal mind and murderers, including the actual axe used in a 1960s murder which you really must look at closely. They've got an exhibit in the mortuary with a table a famous guy died on and different hemorrhaged organs on the wall. Kind of gross but if u want to u can just stare at the bullethole through the window lol.
Kind of an interesting place to visit. Lots of history. Not sure if it is wheelchair accessible as it is an old building on second floor.
Want a memorable and learning experience for the family.it is worth spending time at the museum. Its ideal to visit with kids so they get to learn about the forensic science and what all is done here
Really cool place to visit with loads of history. During Halloween there is ghost tour through the museum which is very interesting. I would recommend
This use to be the city’s old morgue. Some interesting history of the Vancouver Police cases.
Fun little museum with interesting displays such as confiscated weapons, counterfeits, etc.
Just came for a scotch. So many choices
A fairly insightful and interesting museum, with a front desk worker who clearly did not enjoy being there. I was particularly fond of the historical homicide cases exhibit.
Such a cute and well done little museum!! But I'm a geek for this stuff. Clean and visually appealing. Learned some interesting things about the city's history and laws. Well well done with interactive displays!! Loved it. You can be in and out in 30 minutes or stay a while longer.
Niche museum, interesting way to spend an hour or two!
Great place with good history, cool exhibitions, they have updated their info for covid with a lot of qr codes for extra information and they offer free wifi on the premise to view them!
Very cool.and creepy, hit it up
Super interesting exhibits!
Great exhibit and friendly staff!
Yet another must visit during a trip to Vancouver
Wow, I was impressed with the displays that they put into this museum. Lot's of historical memorabilia pertaining to the Vancouver Police. Lot's of pictures, artifacts and insignia. There's even an autopsy room and refrigerators for dead bodies. The building used to be the Coroner's Office. Chinatown is only a couple of blocks west of the museum. You can go there and have lunch after visiting the VPD Museum.
Really interesting and informative museum! It was slightly smaller than I thought but it was really worth it (they have really interesting exhibits in there) ????
Amazing, especially their SWAT video and funny visual novel game. I would recommend it to anyone! The gallery is much bigger than it looks when you first walk in. There is a small entrance fee (About $11 as of 2017). It will take 1-2 hours to view / try everything.
Some interesting tidbits but mostly it is just writing on walks. Not much in the way of interaction.
Well, actually this place is kind of serious for its neighbor is a real police station ????????????
Very interesting, but quite small.
I really like museums and little pieces of history. Although it's really small, I like that it used to be the city morgue and some items from previous crime scenes are on display.
It was informative visit about the history of the crimes ..it is not for romantic people ..I just joined my husband and finally I found it usfull but it is lacated in tough neighborhood
It's great place to learn, take pictures n even act upon like one of them. Great history lesson here, a must see while in Vancouver
Fun little museum!
Very interesting place, lots of history and stories.
Really good value at 12 bucks! It's small, but you can spend a solid 2-3 hours there if you read everything. It didn't feel as "curated" (for lack of a better word) as biiiig museums and i loved that about this place. It felt more personal and approachable that way. Everything was really interesting!! With covid they had to remove some interactive stuff but they replaced it with audio guides you can scan with tour phone. I thought that was a really nice touch and adds to the whole experience. This little hidden spot is perfect for a rainy afternoon (it's what I did!).
Wow! Absolutely phenomenal! My favorite museum, definitely right up my alley. Really cool bone casts, weapons, an insight into handwriting analysis, fingerprinting, and is the location of what was the coroner's office/morgue. The morgue was fascinating!
Used to be very cool, but some of the exhibits have been closed.
Interesting and informative. Worth a one time visit but in dire need of more exhibits. VPD must have additional resources and artifacts that can be added to actually make this a first class facility. What an opportunity to make Vancouver different than every other city by having a first class Police museum. Should be best in the world to become a destination museum. As it is, can get through in less than an hour.
A small but informative museum, located in the former coroner court (cool)!
The Vancouver Police Museum has a lot of interesting history, going back almost 150 years. The morgue and coroner's room are disturbing and fascinating at the same time, showing past murder cases and forensic items. Another room is a memorial to Vancouver police officers who died in the line of duty, while the armoury displays weapons that police officers have confiscated from suspects.
Reservation recommended
Just been yesterday and it is very entertaining. A lot of paraphernalia used in forensics and different kinds of weapons. My first time to see the actual samples of confiscated drugs.
The information that they had was historical, interesting and great to read and look at, it covered a variety of professions & topics within the building, which is an old coroner's, the price was $12 more then affordable for what you're getting. (There's 8 rooms varying in size and information) The only negatives is there's no Disability access that I could see (flights of stairs) - you can carry your baby and stroller & no seat to watch the films which go for over 10mins.
Fascinating stuff. Children had a great time doing a scavenger hunt, learning about local history, exploring case files, discovering a bullet hole in a glass window, and so much more. Only had the last 90 minutes of their day, but enjoyed our short visit very much.
We had a great time, learned a lot. Nice way to kill an hour or two. They had a student discount which was nice. Fair amount of typos scattered through the museum though.
Great place to learn about Vancouver police history. Worth the trip and time.
Very interesting museum ????
I somewhat enjoyed the place, there is a variety of weapons, a mortgage area, and the Vancouver police history. Although, I would appreciate a more interactive attraction.
A lot of interesting things to see but not for kids under 12. They'll get bored too fast
Very friendly staff. We didnt realize it was so close to east hastings and main st. Stairs only. Definitely interesting
It’s always fun to attend the police museum. Tom Carter’s art in the lobby really stands out!
It was very fascinating to see the forensics exhibit and see real pieces of evidence from some of Vancouver's most historic criminal cases. Fair warning that this exhibit contains some grizzly artifacts as well as real human body parts in the autopsy room (pieces of brain and heart with bullets lodged inside) as well as a real human fetus. But seeing all the evidence from some of the most famous cases in North American history was well worth it I will definitely be revisiting this exhibit the next time I'm in Vancouver.
Was looking to learn about about the role of horses in the history of the Vancouver police.
This museum is very informative and cool. Worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood and you will learn a lot of history of the VPD. Ps.The Autopsy room is kinda freaky lol apparently I didn't expect to see a fetus there, that threw me off a bit ????
This is not for everyone, if you feel passion about solving crime it will be good for you.
Off the beaten track but a must see in Vancouver, especially for the slightly morbid.
Love it! Lots of interesting activities planned with a lot of love (you can tell!). For example, they have movies in the morgue! Definitely worth checking out.
Wait time
Very interesting. Small
I loved this place. A fun way to discover the seedy side of Vancouver.
Small museum but it is filled with interesting facts and artifacts about the VPD and history or crime in Vancouver. For only $12 this is a nice way to spend an hour or two. The staff are very friendly and social distancing protocols are in place.
Very small but worth a visit. Interesting morgue and gun display. Interactive games for kids. We ended up spending an hour in here. Rainy day activity for sure.
This place is a MUST see. At first you will be underwhelmed as you enter but once you begin percieving and contemplating the effort that has gone into this place its a win. The brutal honesty and unbiased integrity is palatable and perceptible. If you are a crime junkie, a historian, a current or former law enforcement officer (especially) you will fall in love with this place. A museum of this nature with the at times, graphic attention to detail would never survive in Toronto. It gives the public at true glimpse of the history of policing in Vancouver and of what policing is like for those investigating crimes.
The Vancouver Police Museum is a fun throw back to old days. It’s great for history or police aficionados.
Very informative museum. Takes about 1-3 hours depending upon your interest. The tissue samples collections have been amazing.
So full of rich history and definitely buy the ticket online. First time here and in the country I did learn a small percentage of the history, but the displays were amazing and some gave me alittle goosebumps especially reading some files on the crimes they had displayed.
Very interesting and well laid out.
One of my favourite places to visit. Have been there tons of times and always learn something new.
Interesting artifacts and knowledgeable guides. Fun and weird stories and cool crime solving activities.
This place is amazing, if you like to learn about the history of Vancouver's Police department this is the place to go. Also has exhibits on police items in general not only covering the VPD.
It's fun and interesting. Not too small as I imagined if you like to read the info about the objects and exhibitions and get the most out of the experience. It's pretty cool that the building used to be a coroner's office with a real morgue and autopsy room as you can see in your visit. Recommended.
My comment is on the neighborhood surrounding the museum. It would have been nice to know that the surrounding areas are Skid Row x 100. Alcoholics, meth addicts, etc. Really dicey. I work in gang area of LA w/o problem, and this area really gave me pause. 8 blocks from 1%er milionare condos. Amazing indifference to human suffering.
The first time i came to the museum it was 1985 or 87....its a memory from my childhood and seeing these pictures posted are exactly what was there back then...some things never chang...and they never have to..
me & my partner got a free tour (i don't remember how..) & enjoyed each room.. being a true crime fan, i found it very interesting, & learned a lot of local history.. the backrooms, the morgue, the gang exhibit, & all of the drug paraphernalia they've confiscated throughout the ages were my favorite parts.. would definitely go again if it wasn't so expensive..
Actually a really cool museum! If you're a fan of true crime, confiscated weaponry, and are looking for a place to go for under $20 a head, this is the place for you!
Cool place to visit on a rainy day...check groupon for special price
We had fun. Especially at the autopsy room.
Some very nice ideas, but WAY too pricey for what it is.
Fascinating! The archivists do great work here.
You can see how the VPD causes harm to the homeless of Vancouver.
No
An interesting place. A piece of police history. Enjoyable
Love this place. Nice to see old Vancouver pictures, uniforms and law enforcement tools.
Wish there was more. Lots of interesting items. Tour was very interesting. I've came here a couple times throughout my life (in elementary school, highschool, and while in university).
Small, but interesting exhibits. The coroner room is pretty memorable with the various displays of preserved pieces of evidence of human anatomy injuries/murder. Great place if you're into law enforcement/policing subjects.
Amazing view into canadian policing as well as early forensic methods. Some interesting cases on diplay as well an open morgue with crossections and preserved organs in different states of repair.
Great exhibits! Check out the morgue! Its creepy but in the good way,
Awesome place to see
Haven't visit over 8 years now...It changed so much. Still love the place! Highly recommended.
Small but very interesting. The morgue might not be for everyone but worth checking out.
10 minutes exhibition, very small , a few interesting things, should be much cheaper, 12$ from adults for 10minutes is too expensive
Boring and not worth the money $12 bucks a family sounds like a better deal
Closing without informing. Came here to realise it was closed.
Fun little museum about Vancouver’s police history and famous crimes
A very unique and interesting museum. Although a notably small operation of dedicated staff, the quality of artifacts and knowledge is not lost amongst the clutter and scale. There is a lot of cool things to see from pictures to drugs to …
Great place to spend some time learning about the history of how the VPD was established, major city events, and fascinating criminal cases. The building itself is full of history and interesting facts. The museum curator was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. The place is a bit small for a museum but there is quite a lot of good readings and artifacts. Specially liked the morgue section of the museum.
This place is a crock. It's full of pro police propaganda.. it's not wheelchair accessible. The icing on the cake is that the sign has a gun pointed directly at the viewer as part of the logo. What a load of garbage this place is
Had a great new and informative exhibit on the Vancouver Turf Wars; exploring 30 years of gang suppression & violence on the streets of Vancouver
I went there with my kid. Museum was okay, but when we passed Hastings St.......It was bad decision
Went here on a whim with a friend on a visit to Vancouver. This is a small but strangely amusing museum about the Vancouver police. It occupies a small floor next to the actual police station and features a number of small displays about things from confiscated weapons to police dogs. One morbidly interesting section is a room of unsolved murder mysteries with newspaper clippings and the actual evidence from the crimes.... We weren't expecting much when we went to visit, but we enjoyed the displays and learned a bit of Vancouver police history. If you're in the area and have an hour or two to burn, I'd give it a look.
Overall, interesting. Small museum, about half a dozen rooms on one floor, exhibits mostly to do with crime (of course, it's a police museum!), Vancouver history, community, and forensics. The "Canadian gun culture" exhibit was very disappointing, however, and had a lot of misleading or incorrect information, was very out of date, had little to do with "gun culture" in Canada, and featured an extensive collection of non-gun weapons. It would be better titled "weapons seized from the set of an 1980s ninja movie/some junk we found when we arrested a drug dealer". Attached pictures are entirely from that one exhibit.
Great place to grab some offbeat history and get your crime sleuth on!!!
A bit dated. The best part is the autopsy room.
The area this is located in is SUPER sketchy - but the museum was a pleasant surprise. It was smaller but it wasn't to expensive and the exhibits were really interesting. But yeah definitely lock your cars before you leave - the entire area is filled - and I mean filled - with druggies and homeless people. The museum is right by a police station though and there are security cameras and cops all around so you are pretty safe. Even braving the dangers of *gasp* that part of town I would say this museum was a blast. The gift shop is nonexistent though so if you are looking for a police patch or t shirt you'll need to go elsewhere
Though a little bit hard to get to, the museum offered an interesting and candid view of police, crime, and law enforcement in Vancouver. Both historic and modern exhibits are available.
A very unique and interesting police museum. Loved the artifacts. Spent about an hour or two at this place. A must see if you're interested in criminal history!
Dry burgers, but fries are nice.
Fun little exhibit a bit expensive for adults 12$.
me & my partner got a free tour (i don't remember how..) & enjoyed each room.. being a true crime fan, i found it very interesting, & learned a lot of local history.. the backrooms, the morgue, the gang exhibit, & all of the drug …
Some great stories, but in real need of a display update and edit. Hard to know what to focus on or what order to view the materials in the first few rooms. Sure did love the robot.
Very interesting exhibits, has slot of historical educational value. Great place to bring your whole family.
Every cool to see some local police history!
Slightly morbid but worth a visit. Takes about 1 hour to 1 and half hours to go through the relatively small museum.
The museum is small, but if you are eager to read, you can easily spend a couple of hours there. There is very interesting information available related with history, crime and forensics.
Wish there was more. Lots of interesting items. Tour was very interesting. I've came here a couple times throughout my life (in elementary school, highschool, and while in university).
Weird and interesting way to kill a few hours for minimal dollar
An interesting piece of Vancouver history it is such a shame about the location. But life is what it is the good the bad and the ugly and all of the above are in large does around this location. Have warned friends and family before they make the journey there to be prepared to see the true dark side of Vancouver's Downtown East Side. Would not recommend anyone wear any open toed shoes going to this museum due to the nature of the area. (Just google it and it will all be there) But on to the review of the Museum itself. Was once the morgue of Vancouver back in the day. Due to the fact that it is an old heritage building it is not wheel chair accessible and for anyone with any kind of mobility problems I might encourage you to pass. Since to access it you have to go up a set of steep stairs. Lots of historical pictures and fact can be found here. And they actually have movie nights in the morgue. I kid you not. Closed on Sundays and Mondays. Can arrange a tour which if you have the time and money I would encourage anyone to do since have a curated tour would give you a better understanding of the place and its rich history. For less than $15 bucks a great peek into a sample of Vancouver's history. If walking I would encourage people to access it via Gastown walking along W Cordova Street. That way you can avoid the Hastings and Main area all together.
A bit of hands on never hurt anyone! Loads of photo ops and movie night in the morgue ????. Situated on the southside of E. Cordova and east of Main.
Interesting place, but too small and overpriced. visited today with my family and friends. Price was $30 per family. $12 per person. There are basically 3 rooms + 3 small rooms. That's it. No guides, no explanation, nothing fascinating. Most of the electronic video displays were out of order. The museum is located in former Coroner's Building where they used to have fridges for dead bodies, dissection tables, etc. I guessed it as there was no information anywhere. Was it interesting visit? I guess it was. But the price was too high. At least for me. Would I go again? Probably not, unless they do major upgrades to their exhibition. Topic is interesting, they have tons of materials, but this museum is either understaffed, or undermanaged, or both.
A wonderful museum to spend some time in and learn about the good and the gritty of Vancouver's history. Pro Tip: Head to the autopsy room and look for the pane of glass with the hole in it. It's a bullet hole from a gun wielding assassin who was crouched in the alley waiting for the coroner!
Clearly has not consulted with community members.
Great food and prices... fun to watch the ongoing entertainment at the boat launch
Pretty small but packed with information. Kind of confusing out and back path to see it all. One room was under renovation so hopefully you’ll see something new soon.
This is a great little afternoon out. Was surprised how interesting I found it. Wouldn't hesitate to take friends visiting the city here in the future.
Enjoyed that it was mostly left original. Interesting piece history. Lots of reading, maybe not exciting for young children
nice place to see special and different things... take your time and check in detail all the info in each room.
We've been here several times, but this time we noticed quite a few spelling and grammatical mistakes on the displays throughout. It's unbecoming of a museum and a disservice to VPD.
Discover the different improvised weapons confiscated by the police
Great for those interested in learning about the history of the VPD; I had hoped there were more interactive stations as reading can also be done online or at the library for free. Also, the museum was smaller than I thought it was but overall an okay experience that I may only recommend towards anyone with a lot of spare time to appreciate ????
It´s nice but really small.
Amazing displays and a way to learn a lot about the amazing rich history of the VPD.
We really enjoyed our visit. I didn't find the museum too small as others have mentioned, we spent about an hour and a half here before having to leave as they were closing! Good value, particularly if you get the Groupon deal.
Not much to see for the admission price, but the little that was there was interesting enough, cool murder cases stories and insights on the inner workings of the police
Very great history of vpd
Educational and fun learning experience, a must for older kids and adults
Small and charming collection of police memorabilia, newspaper clippings, uniforms and so forth.
This was so awesome a lot of stuff to look at and read there are some old files that you could read on some of the old cases. Nicely done Museum.
No wait
Fun! And really informative! Can't wait to take the kids!
Great little presentation about the morgue and some of the residents still haunting the place. Interesting and fun
Rlly bad client service and so little place but interesting
Good to see some of Vancouvers past history loads of interesting stories
I found the morgue to be the highlight of the museum. Full of fascinating preserved organs and whatnot, also there were bones still inside the furnace, not sure if it was meant to be part of the display. Another cool part was the confiscated weapons room. All in all a great place but not too exciting.
Interesting, liked the dress up exhibits
Awesome piece of history. The autopsy room is so interesting. Museum itself is very small, doesn’t take up a huge chunk of time.
A really cool museum in Vancouver, but there are some gross parts. I guess it is part of the history, but still worth it.
One of the oldest police museum! Funny, interesting and interactive!
Interesting but creepy. It is located in the most disgusting and shameful neighborhood of Vancouver.
Great deal with a Groupon. Haven't bought one in a long time, but the current deal is worth it. Admission to the updated museum--maybe a few things less than previously, but updated and still mysteries for kids to solve. Also, a 2-hour tour (3 options available). We did the Soul Food and Shotguns, and learned a lot about the Strathcona area.
It's was okay for the price of the ticket. Only go if you're interested in police history, tools and old guns. Also if you want to learn about criminals history in Canada.
Very informative on Vancouver history and forensics. Great place to visit.
Unique place to take a look at the city's history of law enforcement, not a very big Museum but definitely worth checking out
Good area tonlearn
Its always amazing to see where we came from... Absolutely need to stop here if you like law enforcement history. Staff were A+ to!
Very interesting museum must see
Not interesting to bring Young children. Good thing it's free for 5-year old, because after 10 minutes they are ready to leave.
Was under construction when we visited. Still very interesting. Receptionist welcoming. Loo available.
Good museum. A bit tiny but you can easily spend a couple of hours their. So much content. Autopsy room, stories about the dark side of the city. Definitely recommend
We had a great time, learned a lot. Nice way to kill an hour or two. They had a student discount which was nice. Fair amount of typos scattered through the museum though.
Worth a visit, quite small so can be seen fairly quickly. The neighbourhood is what we got told was not a nice area. But still felt safe, but you can see why the locals said that.
